AN: Hello again! I recently started the series Tokyo Ghoul, and you all know what that means; a new idea! And as usual, crossing it over with my favorite series. Enjoy!
Ghoul 1/2 (Tokyo Ghoul/Ranma 1/2)
Ranma's life had never been 'normal', but as bad as it was at times, it always had its silver linings. One day would make it far worse, however.
It started with Ranma encountering his greatest rival, Ryoga Hibiki, seemingly on the verge of starving to death. However, rather than food, Ryoga tells Ranma he needs medicine from back at his house. Helping his rival back, (and Ranma getting turned into a girl in the process,) the pair encounter Ryoga's mother at the house... along with a human corpse on the floor.
Ryoga's bloodline as a Ghoul is revealed, along with the primary ingredient of his 'medicine', knowledge that the Lost Boy himself had been unaware of, thanks to the special 'medicine' his mother made allowing him to eat normal food.
However, with her family's secret revealed, Ryoga's mother attacked Ranma in order to silence the redhead. Taken off-guard, Ranma was mortally injured. Ryoga came to Ranma's defense before she could be killed, but failed to hold back his own power and killed his mother in the process.
Ryoga quickly called an ambulance, claiming that his mother's victim had been killed in self-defense after attacking his Mother and Ranma. Unfortunately, Mrs. Hibiki had been killed instantly by her son's attack, and both of Ranma's kidneys had been damaged. With no other transplants available, and Mrs. Hibiki being a compatible donor, the doctor used her organs to save Ranma. However, unaware of the Hibikis being Ghouls, or of Ranma's curse, this caused Ghoul DNA to be introduced into Ranma's body, which in turn trapped Ranma in that form.
Blaming himself for Ranma's condition, Ryoga swore to help Ranma find a cure, while Ranma did the same, in an effort to atone for her role in the death of Ryoga's mother. However, with a dwindling supply of 'medicine', and the growing knowledge (and fear) of Ghouls, their journey was destined to be long... and incredibly dangerous.
AN: Using this, Ranma could replace Kaneki, encounter him later on, or proceed into an entirely new story within the setting. What do you think?
