This chapter was done on a different day than the one I wrote in the car. Camilla also beta read the story for me. I hope this chapter isn't too corny for you to read.

Kimmy was not satisfied her death was caused this way. She wanted to tear that ugly murderous hag to pieces for killing Odaga. Her life would have been stricken with unvented rage if it wasn't for what Alfie said to her.
"I heard what happened to Odaga. He was a good friend and pirate. The thing is he was a better lover of woman. We called him a lecher, pervert, and manwhore...the truth was he was just full of life. Yeah he's dead, but whether there's a heaven or not-unlikely for pirates like us-we'll be reunited with him. The dead is only dead when we forget them. So be who you are, that sweet girl Odaga knew."
Kimmy went from savagery to weeping as she mourned the lost of her beloved Odaga. She cried right into Alfie's arms. He pat her back while she let out her grieving emotions. Alfie held back his tears from expecting something like this would happen. He was prepared for death, but what he was not prepared for was how death affected the living.
'I'm not prepared for this…I can't face Luffy at how I am now?'

The crew didn't need any help from the servants willing to cooperate in putting Odaga to rest. The servants though gave them supplies such as an old but still good for one last sail rowboat, a quiver with three arrows, and two rocks that could create a spark lightning a fire on the arrow.
The ten pirates attending Odaga's funeral: Alfie, Pamela, Lai, Dante, Fisscha, Kimmy, Douglas the army Devil Fruit user, Licesba the cyborg and his kitten Pride, Bod the beast pirate, and T.J with the spirit of his brother A.J in the small cloud that watched his back. Their names were written in a book with the title Odaga, I've Learned Black Leg Style And I Learned How Many People Care About Me.
Servants marched in sitting in chairs that were all for the witch personified as little children. Simon made Si come along. Simon managed to get Si to come along with the help of his starfish looking pet who broke away from his cave to spend time with the humans that treated him with dignity.
All the crew took turns reaching out and hugging the other trying to cry out the teary feelings and memory of watching Odaga get killed. Even the head servant, the one who delivered the kick that killed him, stood next to Alfie while he spoke from his heart.
"My whole life I've never knew if Odaga was related to me or if he was my brother. You know him as two people…the chef who wouldn't give up until he mastered his tutelage from Sanji and made your mouth water and the fierce Black Leg protégé who never made any actions to hurt a woman even if his life depended on it. We are here today because he is the first of all of you…dear friends and most courageous people I know…to met his end at the hands of an enemy."
Alfie did something unexpected at Odaga's eulogy. He walked away before calling for the person standing next to him to walk on and say a few words about Odaga. Kimmy was enraged, growling like a dog who lost its food because someone kicked it away. Pamela felt the same way using her will to keep Kimmy from tearing through his jugular.
"I know you won't believe me after what I did to your friend, but to all your brave and loyal crewmates I'm sorry. This man wasn't half the man your captain is, but he was sort of the glue that helped you mingle together and binds you into a whole crew. I was spineless and there were times I look in the mirror not recognizing myself because I forfeit who I was to that witch. Nothing though can forgive the ultimate sin of murder I have committed. His bloodshed though is a way of telling all of us we must question our own mortality, think of others before we think of ourselves, and try to relinquish having to hurt anyone whether they deserve to be punched or not."
He bowed to the audience before returning to his spot. Alfie returned to his spot trying to talk to everyone. They were silent because none of them knew how to act after the murderer said words at Odaga's funeral.
"I was not sure if we should use this time to hold a funeral for Odaga. The longer we wait around the more the last witch turns Luffy into a killing machine." Alfie's faced turned red like a volcano about to erupt for five seconds. His face soothed down into an apple after letting his anger almost make him say something he'd regret. "We won't save the world if we forget about the one who binds this crew together, the one who made sure each of us had a chance to fulfill our dreams and Odaga never got to fulfill his. Odaga was kind, smart, accepted people for who they are, and could find light in even the darkest of places. Dammit, I miss him! Blood related or not…he was my damn brother. Witches can go to Hell because I'm going to decapitate the next one myself…and then let the Marines lock me up in Impel Down to be executed because I'm not a beast. I think bad things…I just know Odaga would never condole those actions no matter what reason I had to make them: his own death."
All ten pirates put the blanket on top of Odaga's corpse. Together, they pulled on the boat until it drifted down the sea. Since Alfie was the captain, he was almost the one who fired the arrow with fire on it, but Dante was a better archer than him so he got to shot the arrow at the boat.
"One thing before you shot, Dante. Make sure it hits the lantern's chain with the riceball inside. Odaga wanted to have something Zoro respects a cook made when he is in that pyre."
Dante unleashed his arrow off his bow. The arrow went flying over the water which spooked the fish Alfie could only see from their shadows away. The arrow broke through the chain, but also stuck to the wood of the boat. Slowly the boat was set ablaze, and the riceball was on top of Odaga's face beneath the blanket almost like it was his last meal in death.
Everyone cried a lot when Odaga died. Even after letting out that much tears, they were still sobbing messes as tears went from their eyes and started dripping down their chins. Pamela, Licesba the cyborg, Dante, and Douglas were the most shut off from emotion members of the crew…they cried like they were witnessing the loss of their own parents.
Waving their ship's flag, yelling out Odga's name and saying what it meant for the crew, a better ship to burn his body in the pyre, even yelling "You give us hope!" would be the cool way for this funeral to end. That would be something for someone who wasn't distraught or so sad they were crying like babies after losing milk. Alfie's crew weren't strong enough to do anything but let the boat sink from the support burning away and letting the part of the body not finished burning sink into a water just as mysterious as the island that could stop anyone from leaving and gave birth to children without parents.
The island was home to a witch.

The crew set out. T.J was staying with them as their new chef. He made the fish, roast, and tomato sandwiches served to everyone at the funeral. He was more of a chef a mother who learned to cook but never had time to improve her skills that made food. Odaga was just a chef who deserved to have a cook book named after him one day.
Simon stayed on the island with the servants. They were disgusted by everything the island stood for and were going to leave it because of that evil and malevolent witch. They did though stay on the island instead of going on the boat with Alfie's crew because they needed time to prepare the boats hidden in the water.
After a long day of fighting and trying to sail a galleon to paradise only to lead to a great loss, Alfie and Pamela were the only ones still awake on deck. Pamela was sitting on stairs with a look of a person feeling sorry for themselves. Alfie wouldn't normally ask her a personal question on account of her anger problems, but this sad day must simmer her Hercule blood down.
"Odaga would want us both to go to sleep. We have a lot of sailing to do if we are going to fight the most evil witch controlling our most dangerous opponent. So please sleep, Pamela."
Alfie waited for her to shout "When I go to sleep is none of your business!" or "Keep nagging me what to do and I'll quit this stupid crew!". Alfie heard none of those. When she finally decided to start talking to Alfie, she spoke in a soft and unhappy voice.
"It's my fault we went to that island. I'm the one who put my foot down that I wouldn't let us go any further unless we stopped there. If I didn't control the crews' decision…Odaga would be here flirting on me and trying to be helpful."
She covered her eyes sobbing into her hands hating everything about her decision right now. Alfie had to squat his knees down to her level while sitting because he wanted to look directly into Pamela's eyes.
"We were almost killed by my old captain and a witch and invited three more people into our crew in just one day. Your decision to go to that island wasn't a decision that would get us killed. In fact, the island was surrounded by a barrier that kills any beings that leave it created by that witch. If anything, we are all alive today because of your…stubbornness."
Pamela went from sad to slightly annoyed he mentioned that to her. Just as fast as she was annoyed, she felt this great affection towards Alfie for what he said. If there was one thing she learned tonight is there lives were filled with fighting and the need for quick decisions.
She stood up and pecked Alfie on the lips. It was a serious peck which blossomed into a kiss because her lips moved to match the shape of Alfie's. They were kissing, Alfie's first real kiss with a girl, and when it was over he discovered why Fisscha and Pamela were always on his mind…he loved them both.
"I know tomorrow you, me, and the whole crew are going to kill that witch and free your taffy brained former captain. And when we do, you need to grow up a little more so someday we can get married."
Alfie knew this was the part he was suppose to promise her that could happen. He didn't say no to it just didn't have the gots to open up his mouth and make empty promises.
Their journey went from port to port hearing tales about the exploits of a Monkey D. Luffy who behaved like they never known...and committing betrayal of his own crew with genocide. First there was Franky, and then Chopper, followed lastly by Sanji. Sanji died before Alfie could tell him about the death of his pupil...a pain he thought was bandaged just leaked out again.
Alfie walked away to be alone so he could think about their next move. That's when he saw a man approach him wearing a sweater and mitts. He thought the man was coming to give him his condolences. He was in for a painful surprise when another man sucker punched him in the face and the two men started kicking him with their feet.
"You brought that monster to this island!"
