Demon and Angel: Chapter 38
Robot Blade Returns
Me: hooray! Back again for another chapter! :)
Burn: and this time, I want more spotlight! maybe I could tag along with Dimmer?
Bright: Dimmer loves me, and I love him, end of story.
Burn: or is it?
Eggman walked down the hallway of his fortress and he passed by a giant robot machine. He kept going until he came to a dead end in the hallway. But he kept walking and put his hand in the center of the metal wall. A second later, the door folded up and a hidden room was revealed.
"Robots, send in #329." Eggman said into a microphone. His voice boomed around the room and a second later, a familiar brown robotic hedgehog came into view.
It was Blade.
Aurora woke up sleeping in a tree beside Sonic. 'Just like old times...' Aurora thought as she got up, being careful not to wake up Sonic as she arched her back and spread her wings to stretch.
She yawned and shook herself off, then she jumped off of the tree branch, beating her wings to fly higher as she calmly flew across the sky.
She landed on a cloud, which surprised her because it could hold her part-metal body. Then she looked down at the forest below to see if there was any danger nearby. None so far, so she flew back down into the trees.
Glimpse, Sora and Gold were also awake, and they were busy training in the clearing. Gold and Glimpse were fighting each other, and then Aurora noticed Ocean sitting on the side as if she was ready to heal whoever lost.
Gold threw several eon orbs at Glimpse, and he back flipped to dodge them, and in the process, he shot a chaos spear. Gold jumped out of the way and the two of them stood facing each other once again.
"Chaos blast!" Glimpse shouted as he sent a bunch of chaos energy at Gold. Gold took the hit and he was sent tumbling backwards. But as quickly as he fell down, the quicker he got up.
"Okay, that's enough!" Ocean called as she stood up and walked over to them. Her horn glowed green as she cast a healing spell on them, and Sora sprang to his feet. "Okay, now it's my turn!" He exclaimed excitedly.
"You seem awfully excited to get your butt kicked." Gold joked.
Sora just rolled his eyes as they both got in a fighting stance.
Then Sora charged at Gold and roundhouse kicked him. Gold caught his foot and spun him around before he threw him at a tree. Sora twisted himself around so he could jump off of the tree as he rocketed back towards Gold and he headbutted the fox in the chest.
The two kept fighting and Glimpse walked back to the twisted tree fort.
The rest of the mane 7 and Bright was in there and Shadow was talking to Burn, who was still healing from the "incidents." Twilight saw Glimpse and she smiled at him. "Hey, Glimpse." Twilight said as she trotted over to him.
"How are you doing? You seem a little... Off." Twilight observed.
"Well, I feel like something is about to happen, and it's not the good feeling." Glimpse replied. "Maybe your just stressed." Twilight suggested, but Glimpse shook his head. "No, I trust my instincts, and I know that something bad is going to happen." Glimpse said.
A few minutes after he said that, Aurora went back up in the cloud where she was earlier. She sat down and rested her head on her hooves. Sonic was awake by now, and Aurora saw him jump down from the tree. He didn't notice her on the cloud above him, but he would in 5... 4... 3... 2... BAM! Aurora kicked the cloud and thunder erupted from it. Sonic jumped backwards with a girly scream, but he tripped and fell flat on his butt.
He frantically looked around to see what caused the thunder when Aurora burst out laughing. "You- HAHA! Your FACE!" She laughed, her voice cracking as she fell back on the cloud.
'yep, just like old times.' Aurora thought as her laughter calmed.
Just then, she spotted something off in the distance, and it was moving fast... REALLY fast. Also, it was coming straight towards them, so that can't be good. "What's wrong, Wing?" Sonic asked.
"Pizza man?" Aurora suggested.
"I wish." Sonic replied as he ran towards the speeding... Thing.
Aurora went to go tell everyone that they had an intruder while Sonic put out the welcome mat.
The thing, which looked like a robot skidded to a halt in the shadows of the trees. "Hey buddy, I hate to burst your bubble, but you can't be here." Sonic smirked as he got in a fighting stance.
"Target 4 in sight, beginning extermination now." The robot said before it stepped into the light. Sonic stiffened and he looked at his friend in sorrow. "Blade..." Sonic mumbled.
Blade's arm turned into a flamethrower and he shot a stream of fire at Sonic. Sonic ran around behind him, using the smoke from the fire as a cover as he kicked Blade down and pinned him against the ground.
"Blade, you have to listen to me, you can fight it! I know your stronger than this!" Sonic said. Blade froze for a second as if he was thinking about it when he jumped to his feet, which knocked Sonic off-balance.
"GAH! Ow!" Sonic exclaimed as he was thrown against a rock.
"your attempts to destroy me are useless, hedgehog, now die!" Blade said as he pointed the flamethrower at him again, but something slammed into him and made him crash into a tree.
"Don't you DARE touch my dad!" Bright shouted as she stood in front of Sonic with her fists on fire. Burn and Dimmer walked into sight as well and Aurora flew in after them.
"Pathetic." Blade said as he got up.
"you wish!" Dimmer yelled.
Just then, a cannon grew from Blade's back again and it charged up power. "FUS RO DAH!"
The invisible force knocked them all backwards, and Aurora stood in front of Sonic to try and block the attack from hitting him, but it was too strong for her as she was thrown into the sky.
She flapped her normal and mechanical wings as she quickly recovered and dive bombed at Blade. The speed powered up as she rammed into him, creating a sonic lightboom that tore down the trees around them.
Blade was on the ground, not moving, and Aurora was standing in front of him, panting slightly. Everyone took a heartbreaking moment to understand that it was over, and Aurora' swings drooped at what she done.
suddenly, Blade's eyes flashed red and he shot out a hand towards her, which caught her around the neck. "Aurora!" Sonic shouted, and Bright screamed. "Mommy!" She exclaimed.
"Time to end this." Blade said as he tightened his grip.
Aurora thrashed around, hitting him in the face with her hooves and beating her wings to try and escape, but nothing worked.
"Blade!" Glimpse shouted as he and the others ran into view.
Blade looked at them and his eyes blazed red once again.
He dropped Aurora, who coughed and breathed deeply for oxygen as Blade stepped back. He was outnumbered. 1 vs 22.
Everyone thought that he was going to run, but instead, he started yelling (or whatever the heck he does :P)
"what's he doing?" Burn asked.
Just then, a huge dragon fell from the sky and landed beside Blade. Fluttershy screamed and Daisy growled.
"No way!" Twilight exclaimed.
"What in tarnation?!" Applejack exclaimed.
"How?!" Rarity asked.
"AWESOME!" Aurora and Rainbow exclaimed.
Everyone looked at the two and they rubbed the back of their heads nervously. "Maybe... Not that awesome...?" They suggested.
The dragon and Daisy glared and growled at each other, and then the dragon charged at Daisy. "Look out!" Fluttershy quietly yelled. Daisy stood on her back legs and slammed her front paws down on the dragon's head when he came close enough.
The dragon headbutted her, and she blocked it by headbutting him back.
Blade stood there, getting ready to have a battle of his own. Quickly, he Vomited rockets-
(Aurora: Wait, he can do that?!
Me: Yes, yes he can :3)
-and everyone struggled to dodge them. "CREAM!" Sally shouted as a rocket came towards her. "Ahhhh! I want to go home!" Cream cried as she hugged Cheese. But right before she got hit by the rocket, a yellow and pink blur sped by and lifted Cream & Cheese out of the way of the rockets.
Fluttershy!
The Pegasus landed and put them down. "It's okay, you'll be fine." Fluttershy soothed them as tears gathered in Cream's eyes. "Thank you for saving us Mrs. Fluttershy!" Cream thanked as she wiped away some of her tears.
Fluttershy looked at her gently before looking over towards the dragon.
Sora charged at Blade and sent a corkscrew kick to Blade's head, Glimpse sent chaos spears at him and then Gold shot orbs of eon. All of the attacks hit Blade and he fell back, but got up again with his blood red eyes glowing.
"Chaos control!" Shadow shouted as he teleported behind Blade and sent a punch to his head, but he didn't even flinch. "What do we do?!" Glimpse asked. "I'm out of ideas, we cant even leave a scratch on him!" Gold pointed out. "Well he's got to have some kind of weakness!" Sora said.
"we need to at least get him running." Glimpse said as he took out his sword. "Man, I haven't used this in a long time." He said as he dashed at Blade and slashed his arm. It left a scratch, but nothing more.
Applejack ran up behind him, spun around and sent a kick right to his head. A small dent remained in the spot where Applejack kicked him and Gold's and Sora's jaws dropped. "Oh, so our attacks did nothing, but a pony kicks him and it makes a dent?!" Sora exclaimed. "That's not fair!" Gold said.
Applejack just chuckled. "It takes years of apple bucking."
Then Blade spun around and knocked Applejack to the side.
"PARTY TIME!" Pinkie shouted as she grabbed a roll of streamers out of nowhere and ran in circles around Blade, which caused him to be tied up with the streamers. "Wow, you actually got him!" Rarity exclaimed.
"Yay!" Pinkie exclaimed as she jumped around happily. But the happy moment of victory didn't last. Blade easily broke free of the streamers and Pinkie backed up as Blade glared at her. "Pinkie!" Twilight exclaimed as she ran towards her and teleported them both out of the way just as Blade shot his flamethrower where Twilight and Pinkie once were.
They appeared a few feet away from him and Blade whirled around, managing to punch Twilight across the face and she was tossed carelessly into Applejack, who managed to catch her.
Glimpse saw what just happened and he balled his fists in anger. "You'll pay for that!" Glimpse shouted as he turned super. He dashed at Blade with his sword in hand and slashed him with the sword.
Blade vomited rockets again and four of the rockets came right towards Glimpse. "CHAOS BLAST!" He shouted as the chaos energy hit the rockets and made them explode too early for them to harm anyone.
Bright lit her feet on fire and she flew towards Blade with her fist ready... POW!
She nailed him right in the face with her fist, which sent him stumbling back, but she used this chance to roundhouse kick him into a tree.
Blade weakly got up and shook it off. He turned around and ripped the tree out of the ground. "Timber!" Applejack shouted as Blade threw the tree at them. Luna and Ocean caught the tree with their levitation spell and threw it back at Blade.
Blade jumped out of the way before Aurora and Rainbow flew into the sky. "Ready for an Aurora Rainboom?" Rainbow asked. (The two decided to rename their signature attack since they both were able to do their own rainboom/lightboom.)
"Lets take this hedgehog to school, and teach him not to mess with us!" Rainbow said as they stopped a good hundred feet into the air.
"let's go!" Aurora exclaimed as they performed a spinning dive bomb, holding hooves and flapping their wings in sync. A rainbow light surrounded them and then the rainbow colored aurora spread across the sky, and the two pegasi crashed into Blade, which caused an explosion.
Blade, was in the center of a huge crater when the dust cleared. He was powered down, but his dragon was still fighting with Daisy.
"Stop!" Fluttershy said as she walked between Daisy and the dragon, which made them look at her. Daisy immediately stepped away, but the dragon roared in her face, showing fangs as long as swords.
"Fluttershy?" Sora asked. "Uh... What's she doing?" He asked Gold, but he didn't reply.
"I know your confused, there, there, it's okay." Fluttershy said to the dragon, which made it hesitate. "You see, my friends are trying to protect each other, and you seem to be hurting my friend, Daisy. So... Could you please stop the violence?" Fluttershy asked sweetly.
The dragon looked at her curiously, then he nuzzled her with his snout as an apology and then flew away.
Everyone was staring at Fluttershy, and she looked at the ground shyly. "That was amazing!" Pinkie shouted as she ran over to Fluttershy and hugged her.
"thanks girls." Fluttershy said as the mane 7 went over to her and congratulated her.
"Well, what do we do about Blade?" Gold asked. "I think Tails can help, right, buddy?" Sonic asked him. Tails looked at Blade and then nodded. "Yes, but we would need both the chaos emeralds and the elements to de-robotisize him.
Me: wow, this was really long :P

i guess this was to make up for the long waits, but trust me when I say this, I promise to update this story as quickly as possible.
Bright: Also, happy summer everyone! :)
Burn: I hope you burn under the sun! *evil glare*
Dimmer: *sighs* girls...
Me: what about them? Ladies, ATTACK! XD
*all of the girls attack the boys*
Sonic: RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, MEN!
