Sonic, Shadow, Silver, and Amy were all running together on the red carpet as they headed northward for the Casino Street Zone, having left the Casino Park theme park behind as they were gong through a darkened area, with nothing but the creepy darkness surrounding them.
"T-this place is k-kinda creepy," Amy admitted as she whimpered, staying close to Sonic as she held her hands up to her face.
"No kidding." Sonic remarked as he stayed focus on the road, collecting the shiny yellow rings along the way.
Silver shuddered as he rubbed his arms together, feeling a bit colder. "Brr! Something about this weird pathway just makes my fur rise! I can't pinpoint what it is!"
Shadow rolled his eyes as he kept running. "Probably you just having a stroke. Get over it."
As the four hedgehogs kept running, several evil looking yellow eyes began popping up, all watching the hedgehogs run on the red carpet. Amy froze with fright as she stopped in her tracks, screaming as she placed her hands on her face. Sonic, Shadow, and Silver all ran back to Amy to see what was the problem.
"Ames! Are you okay?" Sonic asked as he moved his hands around.
Tears were forming in Amy's eyes as she tightly hugged Sonic, much to his dismay. "T-the eyes! They're making me even more spooked than usual!"
Silver nodded in agreement as he felt nervous, his legs trembling. "I agree with Amy... there's something about these peeping eyes that makes me feel uncomfortable."
"Humph. That's NO good." Shadow commented with a smirk as he glanced at Sonic, even going as far to placing his hands on his hips and shaking his head.
Sonic glared back at Shadow as the group insisted on going a bit slower, but it became obvious that going slower was a stupider idea, as the eyes were fixated on all four of the humanoid mammals.
