Mia had grabbed a fang for both her and Ron, accessing the chamber by fluke only, she had tried a few times to mimic Harry when he had said open. Getting back to the campsite, the boys had instantly destroyed the locket with the sword, while Mia got started on creating a weapon for her and Ron. It took her a few weeks, during which they were on the move, but she soon had a dagger each made from the teeth.

Things were going slowly on the hunt for the horcruxes. Thankfully before going on the run, the witch had gotten the goblins to start searching vaults for any of the soul pieces, and in late November they were summoned. Knowing it wasn't safe, the goblin had agreed to meet in a Muggle park, where a teacup was contained in a ward. Mia instantly destroyed it, handing the lightly cracked and priceless Hufflepuff teacup back to the goblin, which had been part of the deal.

Once a month Mia would go back to the school, getting updates, and ready to use her other look if they were interrupted again. Both thankfully and unfortunately, for the both of them, they weren't. Both she and Severus had ignored mentioning what had happened that first meeting, not that the headmasters and mistresses were willing to do the same.

Christmas had the trio visiting Godric's Hollow, going to the Potter graves, but also being attacked by Nagini. Harry had told her that Voldemort had a snake familiar, but had insisted she was non-venomous. When she attacked the wizard though, Mia learnt quickly that she was, and had wrestled with it to milk it. Once Harry was safe, though he would always have a scar, she began researching the snake and venom, certain that she would need the anti-venom at some stage, especially seeing as the damn thing that almost definitely a horcrux, screaming at herself for not killing it when she had the chance.

Around that time, they heard that Luna had been kidnapped from the train on her way home from Hogwarts for the Christmas break. Neville was devastated and when they risked getting in touch with him, he said that Xenophilius had lost it, he kept babbling about the Deathly Hallows.

That reminded the trio of their inheritances from Dumbledore's will. Harry had been given a snitch on a chain, on it was an inscription that read 'I open at the close', he hadn't been able to open it yet. Ron was given a deluminator, he used it to keep an eye over his family. And Mia was left a rather old copy of the Tales of Beedle the Bard. It was in that book that the supposed fairy-tale of the Deathly Hallows was read to children all over the magical world.

Mia knew that the key players weren't a lie, hell Harry was related to Ignotus Peverell, and she was certain that the Invisibility Cloak that had been in his family for ages was the one mentioned in the story. Other than that though, she had no clue and it wasn't something that would help in their hunt.

Severus told her about the jinx on Voldemort's name, he had made it because there were only 2 people who used it, and they were the two that the monster wanted. So it was hard, but the trio didn't use it.

That is until the end of March came around and Harry was frustrated from their lack of progress. As soon as he said it he was assaulted with charms, Ron was next, making Harry a blonde with hair long enough to cover the scar, and the previous red hair was now pitch black. Just as the wards around their hastily packed up campsite fell, Mia became the redhead.

"What have we here then?" It was Greyback and he was with a couple Snatchers, all of whom were leering at Mia, "Why are you lot out here?"

"We're resting before going onto our campsite," Mia said easily.

A tall man with black tangled hair and a single red lock stepped forward, blue eyes locked on the witch, "Yeah, and who said the name of the Dark Lord."

She blushed fearfully, "I did. We were playing a game and I was dared to say it."

"A game?"

"Truth or dare"

"Sounds like a mudblood game to me," Greyback gnashed his teeth together, "What're your name?"

"I'm sorry, how rude of us," Mia stepped forward, "Emily Cattermole, and my friends Louis Bagman, Trevor Hopkirk."

The other Snatcher began looking over a book, "The families are here."

"Bagman hey?" The black haired one said as he looked at Harry, "Ludo Bagman?"

"Distant relative, too close for my opinion, owes me a bundle," Harry stumbled out.

"And Hopkirk, that's Mafalda?"

Ron nodded, "My aunt."

"Right," he didn't bother asking Mia, just gave her a look.

"Father, works in maintenance," she was happy that she'd spent so much time in the Ministry now.

Unfortunately the other one's head popped up and glared at her, "Reginald?"

"Yes," the worry in her stomach was growing.

Ropes shot out quickly, getting Ron and Harry but Mia dodged hers, shooting curses at the trio. She got Greyback but unfortunately the red locked one tackled her, having fun groping her as she struggled against him, "Oh yeah, keep at it, the Dark Lord will love having you."

"Let her go!" "Oi! Bastard!" The boys were yelling but it wasn't doing any good.

"Scabior, she killed Greyback," the other snatcher said over the bloodied body.

"Get them, we're going to have so much fun with this lot," Scabior took Mia, his hands travelling over her but after arriving at a large manor, it got too close to her mouth and she bit into his wrist, spitting out the blood that entered her mouth, "You bitch!"

The slap sent her spinning and crashing to the floor. Unfortunately for her, as they were being dragged away to the dungeons, Ron and Harry had called out to her, "Mia!"

Lucius heard them, "Mudblood!"

"Lucius!" It was Bellatrix Lestrange, the man's sister-in-law and Voldemort's most loyal Death Eater, "She is our masters but before him, she is mine."

"She killed my son," the blonde yelled, "I deserve first shot."

"No!" That was it, Bellatrix had spoken, and Narcissa dragged her husband away.

Scabior was struggling to keep pressure on the wound, "Bitch. She killed Greyback."

"Good for her now piss off," the man was banished out through the door, and the psychotic woman levitated Mia up to look at her, "Now then, you look nothing like your picture."

"Yeah? You look just as pathetic in real life as you do in your picture," Mia spat at the Death Eater.

The first Cruciatus caught her by surprise, she gave a shriek but lost her hold on her changing, "Just like my whore sister's bastard child. Who are the two with you? Potter and Weasley?"

"Go to hell," Mia wheezed out.

"You first"

Over the next few hours, Bellatrix tried everything to get Mia to break, to tell her what she wanted to know, but the metamorph refused to say a thing. The woman took a break, muttering that she needed to summon Voldemort, and Mia weakly whispered, "Dobby."

*POP*

"Mistress Mia?!" The house elf shrieked, thankfully not alerting anyone in the house.

"Dobby, go and save the others, they're in the dungeons I think. Be safe," giving a prayer that they would be safe, the witch removed a special Portkey that she had been given on her 18th.

Severus had made it for her when he became the Headmaster, using the magic of Hogwarts to create a Portkey that would get through any ward. He had placed it in an emerald and diamond pendant. Clutching onto it, she set it off at the same time as she rubbed her ring.
