Author's Note: I am excited... why... not so sure, but I am. And it's early too... so it's weird. Well, it might have something to do with the fact that I figured out what I was doing with a battle I was stuck on. That and the fact that I defeated the Trinity Armor with Ven on the first try with only one Cure in my deck. (Yes, I am still working my way through BBS.) Hush.

Oh! And there is a link on my profile for a teaser vid... (it's labeled 'teaser'). Check it out!

"Didn't you work for Captain Hook?"
"You are so weird. All of you."

-Neverland-

They arrived on an island.

"Well, it looks kind of like home," Kairi mused.

"The waves don't sound the same though," Riku said.

"I've never been in this part of Neverland," Sora said, frowning. "Well, let's explore then. We need to find Tink anyway."

"Why?" Riku asked.

"So we can all fly!" Sora said with a smile.

"Hey, buddy look," Axel said, pointing at the ground just beneath Sora.

Everyone looked and saw that Sora was floating several inches off the ground.

"Oh, hey, look!" Sora said, grinning. As he did this, he began floating even farther off the ground.

"How are you doing that?" Riku asked.

"Peter said something about thinking happy thoughts," Sora said. "Along with believing that you can fly. Watch this!"

He zoomed up in the air, doing a backflip.

"We can fly!" Roxas sang. "We can fly, we can fly, we can fly, we can fly!"

Sora paused, hovering a few feet from Axel.

"Hey, haven't you been sprinkled with pixie dust?" he asked, though it sounded like Roxas was the one who was really asking. "Shouldn't you be flying too?"

Axel crossed his arms over his chest and raised an eyebrow. "Maybe I don't want to fly," he said. "You forget how awful I was at it."

Sora shrugged. "Well, as soon as we find Tink, we can all fly."

He landed on his feet next to Kairi.

"I already told you," she said softly. "I believed that you flew."

"Well, now you saw it. And you get to fly too!"

"What if I'm not very good?" Kairi asked.

Sora took her hand. She blushed. The two of them began walking in an arbitrary direction as Sora searched for Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.

"Wanna make a bet?" Axel asked as he and Riku started following along after the two of them.

Riku raised his eyebrows. "What kind of bet?"

"On how long it takes for the two of them…"

Riku shook his head. "I'm not betting you on that."

"Aw, why not?"

"Because I know it's not going to happen anytime soon."

"How do you figure?"

"Because I know Sora, and I know Kairi. They'll take their time."

Axel sighed.

There was a brief pause before Axel said, "So what are your thoughts on Roxas and Namine?"

Riku balked. No! his thoughts screamed. He paused, stopping dead in his tracks, his mind reeling. "Wait… what?" he asked. Why do I care, though? Why do I care at all? I mean, it's not like…

But I do, don't I? Just a bit…

His thoughts drifted back to his and Axel's conversation in Wonderland, where he had spoken so highly of Namine's determination. And how he had found it rather…

Axel broke him out of his thoughts by waving a hand in front of his face. "Dude, are you alive in there?"

"Huh?" Riku said. Why are my thoughts reeling like this?

"Roxas and Namine, your thoughts on them as maybe…"

Riku cut him off. "No, it'll never happen." I don't want it to happen…

Axel was slightly surprised by Riku's sudden, short response.

"Besides," Riku added. "Roxas likes Xion. And if Namine gets her way, she'll come back, somehow."

Axel nodded. "True, those two are ridiculous."

"Who?" Riku asked.

"Roxas and Xion."

"Ridiculous?"

"Oh, you never had to live with them. Or see them on a daily basis. It was quite amusing actually," Axel said. Then he coughed, though his cough sounded a lot like "lurk lizard."

Riku frowned, thinking.

Why even suggest that Roxas and Namine would… he couldn't finish the thought. When Roxas and Xion are so… But wait, why do I care?

Sora was the one to bring him out of his thoughts this time.

"Hey, are you two coming or what?"

Riku shook his head to clear it and started running after Sora and Kairi. He assumed that Axel was close behind.

"What was that all about?" Kairi asked when he had caught up. "You look like you just swallowed a live fish."

Riku shook his head once again, wondering why he was so jittery all of a sudden. "It's nothing," he said.

Sora raised an eyebrow. He knew very well that it wasn't nothing. However, he couldn't place if whatever it was Riku was thinking about was bad or not. It didn't look bad, so he decided not to bug him about it.

"Hey! I know you guys! Well, rather, I know you, Sora!" came a chipper voice from above them.

They all looked up to see a boy dressed entirely in green soaring above their heads.

"Hey Peter!" Sora called.

Peter laughed and landed (relatively, he was still hovering several inches above the ground) in front of Sora.

"How's it been?" he asked. "Haven't seen you in a while!"

"Oh," Sora said, shrugging. "I've been busy. Anyway, these are my friends, Kairi, Riku, and Axel!"

Peter said hi to them each in turn. However, he took a second look at Riku. "Didn't you work for Captain Hook?" he asked.

"No," Riku said, frowning. Technically, he worked for me. "He and I happened to be on the same side during that particular event you are talking about. However, I am certainly not with him anymore."

Peter grinned. "Good." He turned to look at Kairi. "I have a vague feeling I know you from somewhere." After a pause, he remembered. "Oh yeah! You were that girl they captured along with Wendy!"

Kairi frowned, unsure of exactly how to respond to this.

"Yeah, I guess that's me," she finally settled on.

"So," Peter continued. "What are you all here for?"

"Well, I wanted to show Kairi I could fly," Sora said. "Which I did, and now I was wondering if maybe, if maybe she could fly as well?"

"Well of course!" Peter said. "You all look like you could use a fun break!"

"Do I ever!" Axel muttered.

"Well, let's go find Tink," Peter said. "She shouldn't be far."

They didn't search for long. However, it had become really obvious that in their search for both her, and before that, Peter, they had been climbing steadily uphill. They were now standing close to the edge of a cliff. Tink was hovering just off the edge, looking rather miffed about something.

Peter flew over to her.

"Hey, do you mind?" he asked. "They want to fly."

Tink pointedly shook her head.

Peter sighed. "Aw, c'mon, Tink, please?"

Again, she shook her head.

Peter began whispering in her ear. Though none of the rest of them could tell what it was he was saying, they did notice that he pointed between Sora and Kairi, a lot.

Finally, Tink rolled her eyes and flew over the four of them, sprinkling pixie dust as she went. Sora started floating up almost immediately, the new pixie dust just adding to the old pixie dust. Kairi began to hover a few inches off the ground.

"Whoa!" she exclaimed, looking down at her feet. "This is amazing!"

"You haven't even seen amazing yet!" Sora said, taking her hand once more.

Riku was a bit shocked when he started floating. He had half expected to not fly at all after what Sora had said about the 'happy thoughts', since he tended to have so much trouble on the Gummi Ship. However, here he was, beginning to hover.

Oddly enough, he had been thinking about Namine…

Axel was still standing very firmly on the ground. Sora, even though he had led Kairi away several feet, to show her 'amazing', paused and looked back.

"Come on, Axel!" he called. "You can fly!"

"Hmph," Axel snorted. "I'm no good and you know it."

Sora rolled his eyes. He let go of Kairi.

"This'll just take a second," he said.

Kairi nodded.

Sora went over to where Axel was. He looked over at Riku and the two of them exchanged devious glances. Each landed on their feet and began walking very slowly towards Axel.

Axel frowned and took several steps backwards. However, he realized a little too late that he had nothing but a cliff behind him. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below sounded rather ominous and foreboding.

"One," Sora said.

"Two," Riku added.

"Three!" they shouted, each pushing Axel over the edge.

Axel cringed. However, he did not fall, not very far at least. Rather, he was hovering several feet below the cliff edge.

"See," Sora said. "Told you you could fly."

Axel grumbled and floated up so he was level with Sora and Riku.

"How dare you!" he shouted. "You just pushed me off a cliff!"

"Because we knew you would fly, dummy," Sora said.

Kairi was laughing very hard at this whole thing.

"Oh, Axel…" Namine muttered, giggling herself.

However, the more Kairi laughed, the higher and higher she floated. When she realized this, she squealed. She was only half scared. The rest of her was completely thrilled.

"Whoa there," Sora said, flying over to her. "Careful."

She rolled her eyes and playfully shoved at him.

"So, about that bet?" Axel asked Riku, struggling to keep his feet underneath him. They had a habit of floating up faster than the rest of him, making him lie flat on his back. This was why he didn't like flying.

"Not gonna take you up on it," Riku said flatly.

"So, is all you guys came here for was fun?" Peter asked.

"Yeah," Sora said. "Pretty much."

Peter laughed. Then he did several backflips mid-air. "I can show you all fun!"

He zoomed off. Sora took after him, hand-in-hand with Kairi. Riku soared after them, Axel lagging behind, still trying to keep his feet under, or behind, him.

"Though, I have to ask," Sora said, after a bit. "You haven't seen any Heartless around, have you?"

Peter shook his head. "We haven't seen Heartless about since Captain Hook kept finding them in treasure chests. He finally took a couple of months off looking for treasure, and since then, we haven't seen any Heartless."

"Hmm, I think I remember that," Roxas mused.

"What?" Sora asked.

"Heartless in treasure chests. I think it was that one guy, Pete, who was behind it."

"That would make sense," Sora said. "But now, he's not working for Maleficent anymore, so we're good."

"He had better not be working for Maleficent anymore," Roxas said, raising an eyebrow. "Maleficent is dead."

Sora laughed. "Man, I forgot how much I loved flying."

Roxas sighed happily. "Me too, though I hated fighting that one Heartless…"

"What one Heartless?"

"It was like a Heartless that was made out of treasure, and it flew about and was ridiculously hard to attack…"

"That sounds…fun…"

"Yeah, sure, whatever."

"And you say I look spacey sometimes," Riku said, flying up next to Sora, a grin playing on his lips.

"Yeah, well, you don't have another person in your head that talks to you," Sora replied.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Roxas asked.

"I mean, not that I mind or anything," Sora continued. "I'm just saying. Roxas and I have conversations in my head. Who do you have in your head that you talk to?"

Riku raised an eyebrow. "You are so weird. All of you."

"Uh, oh," Peter said. "Looks like we've got trouble!"

Sora and Riku both winced. They looked to where Peter was pointing and their winces turned to looks of horror.
