Ian didn't know why he had so many problems. Vestoria was a vast place. It's vastness was almost as wide as earth. But why...why did everything about Vestoria revolve around him? Maybe it was Leontess's fault that Ian was considered a threat to the Bakugan and a key to malevolent Bakugan Brawlers.

That wasn't it.

Ian was targeted for these things before he even played Bakugan. Good at getting himself into these situations; not so good at getting himself out of them. Ian just wanted to live a normal life where he could play Bakugan but people didn't take it so seriously as they do here. Ian liked talking to Leontess and having him around. He just didn't like how he had to fight dark Bakugan brawlers with him.

Speaking of Leontess the sound of roaring was heard behind Ian. He turned and saw two beams spark as they were shot from Darkon and Leontess's mouths. Their attacks were in perfectly symmetry, synchronized with prestigious power. If they were to fight forever it would be like Zeus fighting against Hades, a god against a god. But all good things came to an end. Leontess and Darkon used too much power...collapsed and fell to the ground. Leontess fell into a tall mountain, and then he rolled down breaking his wings and claws until he hit the ground. Darkon fell down a lot slower than Leontess thanks to his wings opening against the wind and him slowly descending until he reached the ground. Leontess was sleeping on Darkon's back. They both purred like kittens, exhausted and tired.

" Did you hurt your head?" Someone asked. He sounded concerned and his voice was different from anyone Ian knew so he couldn't be talking to Neon. Ian then remembered the Bakugan who looked like a cheetah. What Bakugan was he supposed to be? " Did you hurt your head?"

" N-No." Ian said. He didn't even fall on his head. Why was this Bakugan concerned about his head?

" Good. You will need your head for your journey ahead?" The Bakugan averted its eyes from Ian and walked towards Leontess and Darkon. His impression of the two Bakugan was two little babies who were worn out. He leaned into Darkon's ears. " Fly. Fire Lighting." Ian sweat dropped hearing what the cheetah Bakugan was whispering to him. It sounded like he wanted to control Darkon to attack him.

" Who are you?" Ian asked.

" Cheetahoid." The Bakugan told him. Ian waved to Cheetahoid but the Bakugan spooked him with his angry expression. " What kind of self-absorbed human thinks it's okay to have their Bakugan fight here? This is home to five Bakugan families and you have scared their children with your compulsory."

" I'm sorry," Ian apologized. " Neon and I were fighting because we were no longer being friends, I felt I had to fight him so he would realize what he was doing was wrong and help me stop Donal and rescue Yumi."

" You thought you were being some kind of hero? Heroes don't scare children or threaten families. All you were doing was fighting over some bickering. I want you to apologize to me."

" Why you?" Said Ian. " Shouldn't I apologize to the families I scared."

" There will be plenty of time for that later. This 'Yumi' you are trying to save is important to you, yes?"

Ian's face turned red when he heard it. It was true Yumi was important to him, but the way Cheetahoid asked him made him very nervous, he replied. " Yes."

" The we will go after her. Right now your Bakugan need rest so you should apologize to me and I can tell the families how you apologized for your crimes. They will believe everything they tell me because I am their guardian."

" You're a guardian? How?"

" What if I were to tell you there were once hundreds I lived with? What if I told you we once lived in a safe place until bad Bakugan came, Darkus like your friends dragonoid, and they separated us by attacking us with lightning and haze? I led them away from their homes and brought them here? Some of them got away and others were taken away. The ones who went with me got away."

" What does that have to do with me?" Ian asked.

" One of the families have seen the terrible things people like you are doing. One of them is acting like he wants to take over Vestoria."

" Donal?"

" My friend flew there and flew back warning me about the danger. What is your name?"

" I-Ian."

" He mentioned your name. He thanked you for bringing them there."

" Whatever Donal said was a lie. I didn't bring him here. He already found a way to enter Vestoria, and I tried to stop him. But I lost to my friend Neon."

" I don't care what you say. He said you were the one who brought them here, and you will be responsible for destroying Vestoria unless you help me stop them."

" What about me?" Ian sweated when he heard that voice. He turned around and saw Neon sweating from his shirt collar and holding his hands in the air. Ian wasn't very happy with him. After his behavior how was he suppose to trust anything Neon said. " I want to help you stop Donal."

" No you don't. You were working with Donal, you're probably still working for him."

" Everything I did was to find more Darkus Bakugan. Darkus Bakugan are my friends, and I always look after my friends. Donal is not my friend. He means nothing to me. I only needed him to find Darkus Bakugan."

" Darkus Bakugan are not here, Neon!" Ian shouted. " You will never find Darkus Bakugan here. All you ever talk about is Darkus Bakugan. Do you know why you only think about Darkus Bakugan? You don't have anyone you care about. Why would I ever believe anything you say or want your help?"

" It's to do with our relationship."

" What relationship?"

" Our relationship in playing Bakugan." Neon said wistfully. " You play Bakugan and I play Bakugan. Donal is going to destroy the world of Bakugan...I want to stop him."

" I have no idea what goes through your mind, Neon."

" You two sound like brothers." Cheetahoid smirked. " I don't know what dispute you two had but you two need each other. You need to talk to each other. I need the two of you because you both have really good Bakugan."

" I cannot trust Neon." Ian said.

" I just need you two to work together. You're tired, you're not thinking well, and you're acting like your not good guys...but when I saw your Bakugan fighting together I saw two of the strongest Bakugan. If you work together you can do anything."
