Again, Thank you guys for such the wonderful reviews. That flood my heart with happiness. Anyways I feel like I was up all night because I couldn't stop writing. :) This chapter is going to be extremely short, but I WILL update At least one more chapter before the night is over. I've written quite a few chapters between last night and today. Enjoy the next few chapters that are coming :)
I wake up to the sound of the piano playing. When I look at the clock it's only 6:00 am. I make my way downstairs to where the sound is coming from. Christian is there. His expression looks pained. He's in deep thought as he notices me and the music stops.
"Did I wake you? " He asks as he makes his way to me
"No. I woke up and you were gone. " I say
" I couldn't sleep. I watched you sleep for hours, but I needed to get up and just find a way to relax. " He says
"Christian,are you okay? " I ask
" Of course. " He says
"I know you cared about her at one point. "I say
"I just wish She could have gotten the help she needed, but we're not going to sit here and talk about Elena , we're moving forward. You, Teddy , and me are having a picnic in the park this afternoon. " He says
"Okay. " I say
"I love you" He says pulling me into his chest and wrapping his arms around me
"I love you too. " I say
Christian, Teddy and I sit on a large blanket with a picnic basket. Everything is perfect. Christian and Teddy are playing with Teddy's toys. He such an amazing father. I always knew he would be, even when he didn't. Seeing Christian and Teddy bond together, warms my heart. It's a sight I could never get enough of.
"Are you hungry? " He asks
"Yes" I say as he pulls out sandwiches from our basket.
"Thank you. " I say as he gives me my sandwich
"I hope you like peanut butter and Jelly. " He smirks
"I do. Thank you for today, Christian." I say
"Hey, you don't need to thank me. I love you. And I don't ever want to take you or Teddy for granite." He says
"I love you too. " I say
When he get home Teddy is fast asleep in his nursery. Christian goes to his study to do some work before bed. I decide to go upstairs and take a long, hot bath. I think things with Christian, and I are getting better. We're now free of danger. No Jack, No Elena. I think we can put all of this past us now. The bath is so nice and hot when I get in. It's soothing. As I lay my head back I feel hands on my shoulders, massaging my muscles. Oh Christian!
"Christian? I thought you were working. " I say
"I finished. All I had to do was fax a few things to Ros that were signed and Make a few calls. I'm all yours now. " He says
"Okay. " I say
Over the next few weeks, Christian and I started putting everything behind us. Elena was no longer a subject that cause tension between us. Although the police still didn't find who killed her. They questioned Christian and I as suspects because of everything that happened between us, but cleared us because we both had an alibi. They were still suspecting Linc for having something to do with, but they had no clue where he was. It was like he just vanished from earth.
When I arrive home from work, Christian isn't home yet. Kasey is sitting on the couch holding Teddy when she notices me.
"Hi Ana. " She says cheerfully.
"Hey Kasey. " I say taking Teddy from her
"I guess I'll see you on Monday? " She asks
"Yes. You have a great night. " I say
"You too" She says grabbing her things and leaving.
After I feed and bathe Teddy I put him to bed. When I get downstairs, Christian still isn't home. I go to the kitchen, to look for something to make for dinner. Mrs. Jones has been sick, so she isn't able to. As I'm cooking pasta on the stove I hear a knock on the door. When I answer it, it's a delivery guy.
"I have a package for A Christian Grey. " He says
"I'm his wife, he's not here. " I say as he hands me the package
"Sign here" He says handing me a clipboard
"Thank you." I say
"Ma'am do you mind if I have a glass of water. I've been working all day. It's really hot. " He says
"Of course come in. " I say and close the door
He follows me to the kitchen and then I turn around to get a glass when I feel a sharp pain on my head. Then everything goes black.
