Hello! Back from Florida already, actually got back yesterday for dance rehearsal, big recital coming up at the end of May. Reason I'm talking about it, is because it's on a Wednesday, I will be posting, but it will either be during-the-school-day early or really late. Just putting that out there, I'll post the memo again the Saturday before the recital as well. Keep forgetting to write this since Hawaii Five-0 is on in the background! Disclaimer: I did not write the Bloodlines series or affiliated characters.

I finally reach Swift Current, Canada and check out the safe house before settling in. Once all my bags are inside, I go to the safe and select a phone. All my contacts are already saved, all I need now are Carly and Sydney's numbers. I'll call them tomorrow, right now I need groceries.
I have to use the GPS to find the store despite the size of the town. I grab just the necessities before checking out and heading to my new home. I figure the rest of tonight will be boring, so I throw something into the oven and begin setting up my security system. Swift Current is only a three hour drive to Saskatoon, an hour and forty to Moose Jaw, and a two hour and thirty minute drive to Regina. Good, I have escape options in Saskatchewan. I already know Medicine Hat, Alberta is a two hour ten minute drive. I check out towns in Manitoba, but they're all too far away to consider as an escape plan. America is also too far away to be an available option if I need to flee. Going north is also out of the option, fantastic. I shouldn't complain about the fact I have four towns I could fleet to, but the safe houses in America had closer towns and more roads.
The timer for dinner goes off in the kitchen and I'm shaken out of my reverie. I pull out the food I threw in the oven earlier and discover I'm eating pizza for dinner. Shaking my head, I sit back at my computer and begin eating.

I've been jittery for the past two days and people are starting to notice. Thus far I've managed to wave off their concerns, but I don't know how much longer I'll be able to do it. I know Marcus said he had to get a new phone, but that was almost an entire week ago. I'm far too worried he's been caught considering his level of skill set. My phone rings with an unknown number and I yank it up to my ear.
"Hello?!"
"I need my hearing."
"Oh my god. It took you long enough."
"Sorry, I was busy."
I can practically hear the grin in his voice. "No you weren't."
"No. I wasn't. At least not with anything I couldn't do and talk. Learning the back roads of my newest residency. Taking the roads to escape as well as trails through the woods. Memorized it on foot as well as with a car and in the air."
I laugh. "Okay, okay. I get it. You were busy."
"You should know I called you first, not Sydney."
"I'm touched."
"Good, you should be. You have to go?"
"No, classes are over today for me. Got about three hours before a few of the girls and I go to one of our talks."
"Sounds like a productive evening."
"I hope so. You know, you helped a lot with the talks."
"Did I?"
"Yeah. Previously it was always about coping or going to the police, it was never about letting go or forgiving because none of us had done it. It's hard Marcus."
"I know, I know. It's always hard to forgive someone who intentionally hurt you."
"Yeah. It is."
A very short one. I'm considering having one of Carly's talks be in the next chapter, PM me with your thoughts on that. Anywho, anyone have spring break this week? If so, hope it's been fun.
