Sorry for the extra long wait... *cough cough* here it is again.
Elektra Pov
Over the past few days, I've been way too busy, what with Harry going missing because of Carmen, and Tracy's enemy Justine Littlewood returning.
Then don't forget the annual awards ceremony that went a bit wonky because of the fact that we both went around to Saph's and she told us about the mean dudes living next door and then Johnny had to go in their flat and get caught then be made to do another robbery while Saph and I went to look for him and failed to get him out of there in time and after Johnny and Tracy explained everything to them we went back to Saph's flat, scared the mean dudes like hell and Saph felt better. For some reason I found myself on the side of Johnny and Saph this time.
And of course, Tee ruining our holiday and Lily going with Carmen to secretly visit her Dad, and Tee getting us back our holiday that was even better than the first one.
But today felt different. I could feel it. As soon as I woke up I felt strange, felt engulfed in all the blue around me; blue chairs, blue curtains, blue walls... and I felt kind of trapped. Trapped by the colour that resembled the real me. How queer...
I wrapped on my dressing gown and went downstairs to join the others for breakfast.
A few hours later I was laughing about with Carmen when Mike called me. I shared a look with Carmen but joined him as he took me outside into the garden.
"You may want to sit down, Elektra.." he advised sharing a look with Tracy. I sat down on the swing. It was obviously something quite serious... were they gonna chuck me out?
"No Elektra! Course not!" Mike said as I realized that I'd said that question out loud.
"Look.. err.. I'll just come out straight with this, your sister's here. She wants to talk to you."
I was speechless. No it couldn't be.. Melissa? Why'd she turn up here after all these years? I'd had no family contact for like 7 years now and yet my sister turns up expecting me to talk to her?! Ridiculous.
"Elektra..?" Tracy asked noticing that I hadn't said anything yet; I was too busy thinking.
"Uh.. err.. no thanks.." I replied shortly.
"Oh c'mon, she's family!" Mike tried to persuade me.
"I already said no why did she just turn up here in the first place?!" I responded.
"It's your decision you can send her away if you want.." Mike replied
"Look she's come all this way knowing that you'll blank her; she obviously wants to see you pretty bad!" Tracy said.
"Tough.."
"Look I thought the problem was with your parents; not with your sister!"
I groaned. Tracy clearly knew nothing.
I gave in and went with Tracy to see her. I could hear Melissa.."I was at college doing dental hygiene..."
She turned to see me when I came, "How weird is this?! Little Mandy.."
"Elektra" I broke in coldly glaring at Tee and Carmen who were eavesdropping and hyperventilating on the stairs.
Gina quickly took us to a room where we could talk.
"SO.." I started hopelessly, "Are you still at home then, or have you tunneled your way to freedom?"
"Actually that's why I'm here..I'm getting married.." she said. I was suddenly intrigued, for the wrong reasons completely.. "And I want you to be my bridesmaid.."
"So who's the lucky guy then..?" I asked.
"Harvey. He came into the surgery for a full clean and polish.."
"Romantic.." I broke in, "Why me then?"
"You're the only sister I've got, Mandy. And someone's got to hold the train!"
"Train?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"It's only a little one, Mum insisted.." Melissa trailed off.
"So that's it, there's no twirling about on the dance floor or anything?" I asked cautiously.
"Oh not if you don't want.." Melissa told me.
I blew out my cheeks.. "Ok.. I'll do it.." Well, someone had to. And this was clearly a ticket out of this dump, what's to lose?
"Ahem." I said walking into our busy kitchen "Guys this is my err sister umm.."
"Melissa Perkins!" she broke in.
"Perkins.." Johnny teased.
"Pleased to meet you" Gus replied.
"Pleased to meet you all!" Melissa responded.
"So that means your 'Perkins' too" Gus stated pointing at me.
"Genius Sherlock.." I muttered.
"It's lovely. Really lovely! It's just like a proper home!" Melissa gleefully said.
"Err Thank you!" Mike replied.
"Yeah err the padded cells are in the basement.." Sapphire butted in.
"There are no padded cells" Gus said confused.
"And watch out for this one, cos he bites!" Sapphire said pointing at Harry.
"Sapphire! Let me show you to your room!" Mike said walking out with her.
"So! They let you out when you want!" Melissa stated.
"Yeah.."
"Oh brill. Cos we gotta get you a dress!" Melissa said. Dammit.
Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time... I've been really busy and writing a few one-shots for other shows too. I still have an idea of where this story is going, but I think some input from you lot would just make my day and help this story that I feel is dying a little now. I NEED A PLOT TWIST!
