Chapter 37: Why?

ROXAS'S POV

A week had come and gone so fast. Friday was here in a flurrie. I'd been so consumed in my work for the quarter performance that I hadn't addressed what Marluxia had told me in detention. I guess I was in a form of denial. I couldn't believe it or I didn't want to. I'd sectioned myself away from everyone more than before. I only really interacted with my teachers and Sora and all we talk of was school or the quarter performance.

This was the first time since last Friday that I'd laid down and addressed my relationship and the future of it and the more I thought about it the more upset I became. It wasn't so much that my relationship with the first and only girl I'd ever loved was coming to an end, but the fact that I'd been lied to. I'd been lied to and deceived by the people I loved and thought loved me. Namine and Xion wanted to be together why did I have to get hurt in the process. Did I seem that difficult to approach to talk to? They couldn't simply tell me the Namine truly didn't want to be with me why couldn't she have just told me? I'm not irrational. Sure, I'd be upset, but I could of lived with it. Maybe…

I was so deep in thought I hadn't notice the tears running down my face and fury growing in my stomach. My anger seem to almost take over it felt like a great heat was welling in me and crawling through my body. I felt like I needed to scream. I rolled over into my pillow and screamed. I lifted my head from my pillow feeling much better, but noticed the giant burned charcoal like hole in my pillow. Had I just breathed fire? No way. This was too much. Tomorrow I had a million and three things to do I needed to sleep.

SORA'S POV

"You have to pick one."

I groaned as Riku scold me for waiting so long to get ready for tomorrow's performance. "I know. I know."

"Hurry up. You still have to decide what your making for home ec. then go buy everything for it, and the after you pick a song you have to practice and get the sheet music for it."

"Ugh. This is too much!" I whined flopping down on my bed.

"You've had almost three months to get ready."

"'That's besides the point. Can we take a minute my brain needs to calm down and organize all of this." I begged as I got comfortable in my bed.

"Fine. But then you have to focus." Riku sighed. I nodded and patted the empty space next to me beckoning him. He got up from my desk chair somewhat reluctantly and laid down next to me. I cuddle into him feeling calmer already. After a while he spoke "Sora…"

"Yes?" I said lifting my head from his abdomen where it had been nuzzled.

"I… I don't know if I want you to wait on me forever, and I don't know If I'll ever be ready for you. I mean I'm not trying to push you away, because you make me so… happy, but your happiness is what really matters to me. I'm trying, but I keep questioning myself. I hate the looks people give you because you hang out with me, and if you and me… Ya'know…. those looks would get worse and I don't want that for you. Do you understand?"

I just stared at him. Riku was definitely not one to ramble almost nervously like he just had. It was so endearing. I jerked forward and attack his smooth lips with mine. It took him a second to respond, but he did, of course, catch on and take control. His warm tongue roped around mine in a passionate dance that only stopped when oxygen was required.

"I don't care." I said panting.

"Huh?" He said also out of breath.

" I don't care if you're never ready. I don't care about the looks people give me. I don't care about any of it. All I care about is you."

"Sora..?

I gave a quick passionate kiss. "Shut up. Let's go to the store. I know what I'm doing. And you can't know about it."

NAMINE'S POV

"Xion, this is bad."

"No it's beautiful."

"Let me see yours?"

"Nope, It's a surprise. You can see it tonight."

Xion and I were in the art room, alone, putting the final touches on our art pieces. Xion was done and keeping me company. The performance was about nine hours away. I'd woke up early to get a head start on the busy day and Xion had followed me out.

"There. I think I'm done. It looks way better." I said satisfied with my final piece.

"You added like five black dots! I'll never understand artists." Xion sighed standing over me.

"You are an artist, Xi."

"Not at all. I'm just an okay painter."

"You are a fabulous painter. I always feel the raw emotion in your pieces."

"Thanks, Nam." She said giving me a giant hug from behind nuzzling her head on my neck. She latched on not letting go.

"Are you going to let go?" I laughed.

"Nope."

"Please?"

"For a price."

"Five bucks?" I giggled.

"You know that's not what I want." She winked. I rolled my eyes and gave her a soft kiss. Her tongue rolled pass my lips, which caused me to open just as I heard a loud thud. We broke the kiss and looked over at the door. Roxas. He stood there with such an upset look. As if he was going to cry and punch something at the same time. Something in colorful shards now was on the floor.

"Roxas…. I'm so-"

"SHUT UP!" He screamed and ran off. I broke from Xion's now loosened grasp and tried to go after him.

"Roxas! Roxas!... Roxas…" I called after him down the hall, but it was useless. I instantly had a headache. I went back into the art room to find Xion cleaning up whatever Roxas had dropped. I spotted a little card and picked it up.

My Sweet angel by Roxas Leonhart

I'm sorry for being so harsh. Take this as an apology. I hope we can still be friends.

I felt tears well in my eyes. I should have just told him. If I had told him and been honest none of this would have happened, he wouldn't be so mad, and he wouldn't hate me or Xion. This is all my fault. I sobbed.

"Namine?"

"He would have understood. If I was honest he would have understood. Now he's hurt. I hurt him so bad."

"Namine. It's okay." Xion said. I knew she was at a loss of comforting words, because she knew I was right. She'd been telling me so long to just tell him and I didn't.

I bent down to look at the broken sculpture. It was in mostly two pieces with a few shards missing. It was an angel made from hard candies. I picked up as much of it as I could and put it on the table.

"Xion, can you go get me some different colored hard candies?" I asked. She didn't question it just nodded and left.

I was going to fix this.

ROXAS'S POV

I was running so fast my tears were being blown from eyes. Though I still couldn't see in front of me. I ran into someone knocking them down which caused me to fall onto them.

"Woah, Roxas what's the hurry?" Mr. Kowai said rubbing his head that he had probably hit.

"I-I'm sorry. I just-" I started to speak, but my tears stopped me.

"Are you okay?"

I shook my head furiously 'no'.

"Come on. Let's talk." He stood up and took my hand, but I was so upset it was hard to stand. "Here. Let me carry you. You don't look well." Before I could refuse he picked me up cradle style. Instinctively I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"T-Thank You." I said growing a slight blush.

"Keyblade dorm right?"

"Yes, sir."

He began walking towards the dorms. Since it was early morning on a Saturday nobody was really outside.

"So, what is ailing you day Roxas?"

"Just the stress of being in the performance so much today I suppose."

He looked at me with a quirked eyebrow, and this was the first time I'd really gotten a good look at his face. He was much more handsome up close. I blushed more thinking of my teacher in such a way.

"Roxas, I think it's more than that. Be honest or I can't help."

"I-I broke up with my girlfriend…"

"Oh I see. I'm sorry."

"I'm not really upset about that. More upset that she'd been cheating on me with my sister."

"Oh my, Roxas. That is definitely something to be upset about." It was quiet for awhile. He didn't say anything else until we were approaching my dorm. "I'm sorry you're going through something so upsetting, but you'll sort through it. You're an intelligent kid. You have a bright future ahead of you." He said before he rang the doorbell.

"Roxas? What's going on? Is something wrong?" Axel said as he opened the door.

"Nothing is wrong. I'm just going to Roxas to his room. He's not feeling well." Mr. Kowai said as he stepped into the dorm house. "Which is it?" He asked me with a kind smile.

"Uh upstairs." I said blushing again. He nodded and headed up stairs and down the hall. "T-This one." I felt so nervous around him. He put me down gently outside my door. "Thank you, Sir."

"No problem, Roxas. You're one of my best students, and I'd like it to stay that way. I'm sure whatever happens it will turn out for the best. You should work on trying to come to closure with your sister. Give it time and forgive her. Besides I'm sure your find someone you're a very attractive young man." He said with such a kind smile, which was definitely something I needed. I blushed as he turned to leave I stood there just watching him walk, slowly, down the hall. I was about to go into my room when he turned around and headed back. "Roxas, can you come by my quarters after the performances. I have a book that I think you'd like. I won't keep you long"

"Yeah, I can come by."

"Great! I also can't wait to hear what you've written. Now get some rest and-" He took me into a deep embrace. It was definitely comforting in this situation. "You looked like you needed that. See you later, Roxas." He left this time much quicker, before I knew it he was gone.

I went into my room and got cozy and fell into a lucid trance.

AXEL'S POV

I followed behind Roxas and Mr. Kowai as they came into the house and upstairs. I overheard their conversation. This was weird. I made a dash down the stairs when I hear Mr. Kowai coming toward the stairs. He simply gave me a nodded and polite smile before leaving. Immediately I headed up the stairs as soon as he was gone. I knocked on Roxas's door multiple times before he answered it.

"What's up, Axel?" He said looking tired. I felt guilty, but I needed answers.

"Uh what was that all about?" I asked.

"Hmm? Oh. Mr. Kowai? I just got really upset. So he was just helping me out. He's very kind." Roxas gushed. Did he….? Did he have a crush on Mr. Kowai? No way.

"Oh… Why didn't you call or text me?" I knew I sounded kinda sad.

"It didn't happen like that. It was just a chain of events really."

"Oh, okay. Well um… Are you really going to his place tonight?"

"Yeah. Why no- wait, how did you know I was going to his place? Were you spying?!"

"Not exactly. I-I just overheard." I nervously said.

"Yeah, while you were eavesdropping."

"I'm sorry I was just worried. It was kinda of weird for him to come in carrying you like that."

"Why? Are you jealous?"

"Why would I'd be jealous? I'm sorry, for eavesdropping. I just worry, okay?"

"Yeah. It's okay. I know you care. I'm going to go to sleep now. Catch you later?"

"Definitely." I said as Roxas closed the door.

I headed down the hall thinking Roxas didn't know it, but something was going on. Whatever it was wasn't good.

SORA'S POV

"Hurry up, Riku I want to see some of the game. They're already in the second quarter." I begged as Riku chopped up fruit in little shapes.

"You're not even done with your cake yet." He said.

Riku, Axel, Roxas, and I were all cooking our food since we were first to show off right after the game. We were going to be judge as a group then the rest of the students could fight over the few samples we had.

"It has to bake for like an hour we can go watch for an hour."

"I have to finish this first. Then we can go."

"Hey Rox and Axel, wanna come with us?"

"I don't know. I still have to make the sauce for my chicken." Roxas said as he cut fruits and threw them in some bubbling water.

"I'm still trying to perfect the sauce for my pasta." Axel complained as he threw what I believe to be his third pan of failed sauce down the drain.

I bounded over and examined Roxas's roux and the fruits he was cutting, then Axel angel hair pasta which gave me a brilliant idea. "Why don't you just use Roxas's sauce?"

"I guess I could since it'll be on the same plate and all. If it's okay with Roxas that is."

"Yeah. That's fine there will be plenty." Roxas answered looking entranced by the orange on his cutting board almost as if he didn't care about his surrounding.

I'd notice ever since he broke up with Namine he'd been really upset. In fact just today he seem especially in a mood. "Rox, are you okay? I mean I know that the whole Nami-"

"DON'T SAY HER OR THAT BACKSTABBING WHORE'S NAME AROUND ME!" Roxas snapped at me holding the knife at me. Riku, Axel, and I all jumped. Roxas's head had looked up for the first time since we'd begun cooking. His eyes were doing that shifty thing between light blue and dark purple. If he didn't calm down he was going to lose it.

I grabbed him by the shoulders and started to shake him. "Get hold of yourself!" I yelled.

The room fell silent and Roxas just paused and looked at me wide eyed. He was like that for awhile then I noticed the tears forming in his eyes. That's when he broke and the tears ran down his face. He dropped the knife and clasped in my arms and I pulled him close and held him tight. "S-S-Sora, they've been together this whole time behind my back." He cried.

"Who? Start from the beginning. You're in the company of people who care about you. Right?" I said with a gentle smile.`

"Of course." Said Axel putting a hand on Roxas's shoulder.

"Yeah." said Riku coming closer to the three of us.

Roxas slowly pulled away from me and leaned back somewhat toward Axel then sighed. "Namine and Xion have been…. been… I don't even know. Flirting? Kissing? Fucking? Dating!?" He got more and more upset as he talked. "All behind my back! … If… If she just would've said she didn't want to be with me from the beginning instead of getting my hopes up and lying to me like she still loved me. And everyone knew, but me. Am I that dumb and naive?"

"No, Rox. I didn't know about it either." I said in some shock of this news, but I realized all the signs were there just hidden.

"Me either. Though now that I think about it they have been a little off." Axel said. I gave him a look that told him he was not helping.

"I knew. I just didn't say anything. It was kinda obvious though." Riku said plainly.

"Riku!" I hissed and punched his arm.

"Ouch!... Yeah, but totally not cool of them er whatever."

"It's fine. I appreciate you guys being here for me. I just feel so lonely, betrayed… and uncared for." Roxas said with small tears in his eyes

"I care about you. You know that. Right?" Axel said hugging Roxas from behind.

"Yeah I know." Roxas smiled a tiny bit as he leaned into Axel's hug.

It was then I felt like maybe Roxas needed Axel more than he or Axel realized. Things like this would usually break Roxas more than I or anybody could fix. He'd fade and one of his others would take over, because his will to continue and lack of anything to grasp, but now he was holding in there so strong and he didn't even realize it and it was all thanks to Axel.

"I love you Rox. He won't say it, but Riku cares about you too." I said with cheerful smile. Riku just mumble something in agreement.

"I know for a fact Demyx, and Zexion care a ton about you and Cloud, and Marly." Axel said still holding Roxas.

"And Dad." I added.

"See you have lot's of people who love and care about you."

"Thanks guys. I'll be okay in some time I think. Now let's finish up and catch the final quarter of the game." Roxas said feeling a little better from what I could tell.

We finished up cooking for the most part and went to see the end of the game while the last of the food cooked. We ended up losing the football game, but what can you expect from a small mostly art school. Everyone was still in good sprites though. The four of us left early to start plating the judges food, and put the rest in pans for the cafeteria ladies to dish out to those few who would be able to get some.

"You guys ready?" Roxas asked Riku and me since he and Axel had plated together. The chicken, sauce, and angel hair went great together.

"I am." Riku said as he placed the final pieces of fruit on top of the bowl of Greek yogurt. He arranged strawberries, apples, paopu into flowers on the vanilla yogurt it looked super pretty.

"Can you help me get the top one, Riku?" I asked trying to pipe the edge of the 6th layer of my cake.

"Why'd you make such a big cake?" Riku asked as he piped the final layer for me.

"Go big or go home!"

"I think I'll go home." He said handing me the icing bag back.

"Okay, we're ready."

We rolled the carts of food down to the lunch room and then brought the judges plates down to the stage where we'd be presenting. I brought the whole cake for dramatic effect. We waited backstage for the M.C., which happened to be Ku-Ku, to anounce us.

The three judges walk out on stage. I recognized one as nurse Arial and another as my robotics teacher, but there was one lady I didn't recognize she was a portly older women with gray hair and a mean presence. I didn't know her, but Axel and Roxas did. I heard them say 'oh no' under their breaths when the saw her.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"Our math teacher." Roxas answered.

"She's a witch." Axel added.

"She can't be that bad."I said thinking they were over exaggerating.

Ku-Ku walked out from the other side of the stage with a big smile and a microphone. She was dressed head to toe in orange and yellow which were our school colors. "WHAT'S UP TTBS STUDENTS?!" She shout to the crowd who shouted back in excitement. "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" The crowd shouted back louder. "That's more like it. Now we'll have the home ec. prize students food presentations. They will be judged by our three lovely judges. Nurse Arial!" Ku-Ku gestured to nurse Arial who smiled shyly. The crowd shouted pretty loud mostly the guys. " Our one and only robotics teacher !" The crowd cheered eagerly with some woofs from Mr. Gijutsu students including me. "And lastly Miss. Ursula…" It went eerily quiet and Mrs. Ursula sneered. "After the judges give their verdict those who are quick on foot can taste the delicious extras in the cafeteria and leave your vote from one to ten on the meal as a whole on white board, but don't chow down too long. Afterwards the art department will present some beautiful art. Now…. LET'S GET THE GRUB OUT HERE! PRESENTING YOUR FIRST QUARTER HOME EC. PRIZED STUDENTS AXEL AND RIKU PAWA AND SORA AND ROXAS LEONHART!" Ku-Ku shouted into her mic and gestured to our side of the stage. We walked out and the crowd cheered. It felt pretty good to be cheered for.

It got real silent and everyone was staring at us that's when I realized that one of us was supposed to be talking so I nudged Roxas forward.

"Uh … We have prepared you a meal made with the idea of local seasonal fruits. Riku has prepared your appetizer." Roxas stated officially then motioned to Riku to serve his appetizer.

Riku did so then began to talk." Vanilla greek yogurt. Apples. Strawberries. Paopu. Enjoy." He said plainly. He'd worked pretty hard cutting those fruits and now he acted as if he barely did anything, but I guess that was Riku. The three judges each took a bite. Then another bite.

"It's so yummy and fresh. The flower is beautiful too!" Said nurse Arial with a giddy smile.

"I like it. It's pretty good." Said Mr. Gijutsu with a nod of approval.

"Meh. Simple." Miss Ursula said looking somewhat disgusted.

"Uh… Well the main course was prepared by me. It is a breaded chicken breast coated and baked in a homemade glaze made from pineapple, orange, lemon, and paopu. Axel has made your side." Roxas explained.

"You'll be feasting on angel hair pasta dressed in a more liquefied version of the glazed used for your chicken. Bon appetit!" Axel said as he severed them. Once again the judges took a bite. Then another. Then one more.

"Um I like the pasta a lot. It's nice and tangy. I don't eat meat though, but thanks anyway." Nurse Arial shrugged and nervous smiled.

"You don't know what you're missing! It's really good chicken and it goes great with the pasta!" Mr. Gijutsu said as he ate more.

"It's not horrible. I'll give you that." Said Miss. Ursula said as she twirled more pasta on her fork.

"Finally Sora has prepared your dessert." Roxas said gesturing to me.

I whipped the cover off my cake revealing it to the judges and the audience. I received 'ooo's and 'aww's from the crowd along with some applause."I present to you a 'Sora special' it is a six tier white cake with orange zested lemon cream icing and edging of strawberry icing." I said as I cut and served the cake.

"Super delicious what are these little pieces in the cake? They are my favorite!" Nurse Arial gushed.

"Paopu fruit added in right before the cake congealed for maximum juiciness," I answered.

"It's so refreshing for a cake. So fruity. Excellent!" Mr. Gijutsu said as he chowed down.

"Elegant." That was all Miss Ursula said and I think it was the nicest thing she could muster up.

"What a wonderful meal am I right?" Ku-ku said coming back out on stage. The crowed cheered in agreement."Now, the judges will give their deliberation. On a scale of one to ten each judge will vote and the average will be the score. Keep in mind the highest average in TTBS history is a Six point five will these four gentlemen beat that? Judges?"

In that moment I felt like I was on one of those cooking shows, The pressure felt completely intense.

"Nine!" Nurse Arial said excitedly.

"Eight." Mr. Gijutsu said.

"Five." Miss. Ursula said at which the crowd booed.

Ku-Ku quickly pushed buttons on a calculator from where it came from I had no idea. "Well it looks like we have a new record! THE TEAM OF AXEL AND RIKU PAWA AND SORA AND ROXAS LEONHART HAVE RECEIVED A SCORE OF SEVEN POINT THREE!" Ku-Ku screamed excitedly. The crowd went wild and so did the four of us, or rather three. Riku kinda just stood there. "Now get your running shoes on because the ….CAFETERIA IS OPEN!" At that the room cleared in no time. Ku-Ku came over to us and gave us all big hugs. "You guys did great!"

"Thanks! You too. I didn't even know you were M.C." I said.

"Me either until this morning. It's a random last minute pick."

"Well, I better take this cake down to the cafeteria." I said having no intention of taking the cake there. I nudged Riku signaling that he should come with me.

"I'll come with you." Riku said.

"Yeah, I better go get ready for the art showing. Wanna come with?" Roxas said to Axel .

"Yeah… Sure. Catch you guys later." Axel said.

The four of us split up. Two of us going one way and the other two the other way.

ROXAS'S POV

Axel and I were on our way to the art room and I noticed he was acting strange. Like he was nervous or anxious.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked finally.

"Um. Yeah. I mean- no. I mean- Would you like to. If you want. It can be a group thing or just us- but it doesn't have to be!" Axel rambled and it confused me.

"What? Can you say that one more time slower?"

He took a big deep breath then exhaled . "Dinner tonight? You and me? Yay or nay? Please?"

Was he asking me on a date? No way! It was probably a friendly dinner to cheer me up, which was sweet, but what if he was asking me on a date? Would that change anything? Would I go still? Maybe? Why not? He was attractive and had a great personality so why not? He was my friend though and I'd hate to lose another friend, because of a bad break up. So maybe not, but I doubted he was asking me out. Why would he?

"Sure. Sounds fun. We can talk details later." I said as we entered the art room.

"R-Really? I mean good. Great." Axel said.

"Yeah. Can't wait…" I trailed as I saw Namine, Xion, and Kairi. I wasn't so sure I wanted to be there anymore.

"Oh hey guys! Ready to show off our masterpieces?" Kairi said excitedly when she noticed me and Axel.

"Sure." I answered shortly.

"Umm... Roxas… we... um….talk?" Xion asked me.

"If I'm completely honest... No." It had taken me great restraint not to lash out at her.

"Please? I want to explain."

I felt the anger in me rise my hands began to clench and heat in me rose. "Well we could have talked days, or weeks, or even months ago! For shit sakes Xion you could have told me when it started!"

"Roxas please calm down." Namine said attempting to calm me down, but it was all too late I was enraged.

"You know what I can't! Every time I see you and her I get upset and I don't feel bad about it! How could you?! How could you lie and cheat? Then you ask me to calm down! HOW DARE YOU!" I felt ballistic!

"What's even going on?" Kairi asked obviously oblivious.

"So you're not only hiding things from me but your own family too?" I said to Namine. "Well I guess you've been teaching her a thing or two huh?" I said to Xion. "Well Kairi my backstabbing sister and your slut of a cousin have been...Who the hell knows! For who knows how the hell long?"

"Namine?" Kairi questioned.

"W-W-We can talk later. Roxas please listen. I never meant to hurt you."

"But you did. You hurt me deeply. Do you have any idea how much I loved you, Namine. And Xion really? I've always been there for you. Always! Even when-"

"Don't! That is not fair Roxas!" She yelled at me with tears in her eyes.

"And this is?!"

"No, of course not, but… but don't do this."

"Ya'know … you're right I won't 'do this'. In fact I don't want either of you to talk to me, look at me, or even breath in my directions." I said then stomped over to my two carts of covered art work. I snapped my fingers and Axel grabbed one cart and began to leave. I grabbed the second and turned to leave as well.

"Roxas. I know you're mad and all, but you need to calm down or you won't be yourself. Look?" Kairi said holding a broken piece of light blue blown glass.

I looked into it and saw one of my eyes was the normal blue color while the other was a mystic purple for few seconds then went back to matching the other. I hated to admit it, but she was right. I could feel him and deep down I did feel bad about the things I had said and deep down another part of me felt good about it. He was taking over and I didn't know if I could stop him. "I'll try." With that I turned and left with Axel.

"Are you okay?" Axel asked once we were down the hall.

"Yeah. My anger got a hold of me." I said regaining myself.

"I could tell… You know when you get like that you're scary. Like your a whole other person."

"I know…. I'm sorry… If I scared you."

"It's fine. Just promise you'll always be the Roxas I know deep down. The one who's my best friend."

"...Deep down… Yeah… I promise." I smiled at him.

"Great now let's get these masterpieces setup." He said as we reached the stage.

"Not so fast mister. You have to wait just like everybody else." I teased.

"Just one peak?"

"Nope! Now go check on Sora and Riku. I'm not too sure that cake made it to the cafeteria."

"Fine."

"I'll be front row for the show. I can't wait to hear your story and song too."

"You better be front and center too."

"Of course my liege." He bowed and left as I laughed to myself a little.

After he left I set up my artwork on the four podiums that had my name on them then covered them up. I had about ten minutes before the curtain rose. I was hiding backstage when heard Kairi, Namine, and Xion setting up their art on stage so I decided to stay in the shadows. I was trying to think of anything else in the world to keep my mind off my anger when a crucial thought popped into my head. I needed my outfit for the concert and my notebook for my reading. I had bets that Sora had forgotten his outfit too.

Hey can U run to the dorm and get my notebook off my desk & my outfit off my chair? And the bag too. Please?

I texted Sora to which he instantly replied.

I'm here already I for got my stuff too. I'll get it. And your makeup bag lol CX

It's NOT a makeup bag! -.-

What do you keep in it?

My accessories and style enhancers

Your jewelry and make up :p I'll be there in five.

Kay. Thx!

I relaxed and took a deep breath. I heard talking from three girls onstage and couldn't help, but listen.

"That is hideous, Namine." I heard Kairi say.

"Kairi!" Xion said.

"It is. All those clashing colors and it smells like cheap perfume for kids. What even is it?"

"It's not done yet. I wanted to have it done for the show, but it's taking longer than I expected." Namine said.

"Maybe that's good thing. I don't think he'd accept anything from you today or from me for that fact." Xion said with a sigh.

"Yeah…"

"I'm still really confused. Why didn't you just break up with Roxas after you guys kissed after homecoming?" Kairi asked.

So they had been hiding it for a few months. I felt angry again.

"Because it wasn't that simple. I wasn't sure as I am now. It was a hard accepting such a change." Namine said.

It was hard for to cheat on me? If it was so hard why'd she do it? The heat in me rose.

"I still can't believe you guys are… Ya'know." Kairi said.

"Lesbians?" Xion said.

"Eh don't call us that. I don't like it. I don't like other girls just you, Xi."

"That fine by me." Xion said with a giggle.

Disloyal to me, but declares her loyalty to her? This was ridiculous. I had to be dreaming or going crazy, because this was bonkers. I was going to explode with rage. I needed to scream. So I did. I let a loud shout, but no sound came. Instead a burst of flames so hot and plentiful they burned the side curtains. I quickly extinguished the flames with a clap that shot wind from my hands before the alarm sound or any major damage was done, but my cover was blown.

"Roxas?!" Xion shouted. "What are you doing?!"

"I didn't mean to! It's a new power and I can't controll it, okay!" I yelled still profusely angry.

"Oh Rox, Your suppose to tell me when you have evolutions in your powers so I can give you something for it."

"Well sorry for not wanting to associated with a backstabber."

"Don't be like that."

"What right- I don't want to do this! I really don't want to do this." I said pulling out my phone to text Sora.

"What are you doing?"

"Getting someone I trust to help me."

Hurry! I need help on the stage ASAP!

I texted Sora and it was then for some reason I realized I needed to change somethings.

But get the outfit on the back of my bathroom door and there is some sheet music in my bottom desk drawer that I need. Also the boots under my bed. Then get here ASAP!

I added. Sora texted back almost immediately more than likely worried.

Sure, but what's going on?

You'll see just hurry!

He didn't respond after that.

"Roxas, you can't ignore me forever." Xion said sounding fed up.

"Hell I can't!" I said matter of factly.

"I'm your little sister. You can't just abandon me."

"I don't know who you are anymore. The Xion I loved would have never hurt me like this. Not my little sister."

"Roxas it's not her fault. She never want to hurt you. She told me to tell you from the start, but I didn't." Namine interjected.

"Your right! You are to blame. Since you couldn't decide which one of us you wanted you kept us both like a slut."

"No! Roxas it wasn't like that. I-I just want to avoid things like this."

"Well , bravo look what a great job of that you did." Said giving her a sarcastic applause.

"Roxas, your words are hurting me and I know you don't mean it." Xion said.

"Like I care what hurts you. You obviously don't care what hurts me, and I do mean it. I really do."

"It's too late guys he's too far gone." Kairi said to Namine and Xion. Namine began to cry and Xion took her in her arms and they left. "Roxas I'm warning you. I'm in no way taking their side or yours, but you need to get a hold of yourself. It's getting worse." She said then took her compact out and opened it toward me.

In the tiny mirror I saw one of my eyes was completely purple now with no wavering or fade. "Kairi… He's strong right now. He can feel the off balance in my emotions and he's abusing it. I don't mean to be so mean when I talk to them, but he's filling me with rage." I confessed. I knew he was too strong and I was barely holding him down now.

"You have to be strong and find peace to forgive them soon."

"I don't think I can. Kairi I can't tell Sora this because he won't do it if it comes down to it. If he comes back and I can't get back. Do everything possible to get me back and if you can't stop him." I looked her dead in the eyes as I spoke so she knew I was serious.

"Are you telling me to… I can't."

"You have to, because no one else will. I don't want to harm anyone so don't let me. Please."

"O... Okay. I won't like it, at all, but I will."

"Thank you."

She nodded and turned to leave. As she left Axel, Sora, and Riku came in running, but as soon as Sora saw the singed stage and curtain he fell backward into the other two knocking them to the ground before they could see it as well.

"Oops… Sora said getting up quickly."

"Ouch, You clu-" Riku began but stopped at the snap of Sora's fingers. Sora had frozen Riku and Axel.

"Sora was that necessary?" I asked thinking freezing everything was the wrong way to handle the problem.

"Did you want them to see your little mess? Don't worry I think I've got the hang of small range time stopping." He said as he opened the backstage door. Noise flooded in and he closed it. "Yep. I did it. What happened anyway?"

"I have a new power, and I can't control it very well."

"You randomly start fire with your hand or something?" He said as he conjured a replacement curtain to replace the singed one.

"Kind of… More like from my….Mouth."

"Are you saying you're a dragon!" He said excitedly.

"No… Hopefully… I don't know."

"You know we could have-"

"No. I'll look it up myself when we get home."

"Sure. Let's hope you don't burn down anything else in the meantime." Sora said as he conjured some kind of cleaning stuff in a bucket and a sponge.

"I won't... Hopefully." I sighed.

"I wish I'd get cool powers like that." Sora said as he clicked his tongue to activate the sponge to clean the burn spots from the stage.

"What do you mean. Your powers are great and you have great control over them."

"Because they are so simple I conjure things, possess things, and stop time. While you get all the fun things like empathy, wind and water control, and now fire breathing."

"The grass is not as green as you think on this side. Especially on days like this. Besides who knows what kind of cool power you'll get next."

"I guess." Said as he snapped to get rid of the sponge and cleaning bucket. "All set?"

"Yeah." I said as Sora waved his hand over Axel and Riku.

"-utz!" Riku said.

"Sorry!" Sora said helping him up.

"You okay?" I said helping Axel up?

"Yeah. I'm fine. What's the problem? Sora said we had to hurry here."

"I just need my stuff before the show starts now you and Riku should go and get good seats before they're all gone."

"Oh, okay?…. Oh here." Axel said picking up stuff he'd dropped on the ground where he'd fallen and handing it to me. "Uh… Your stuff."

"Oh, thanks."

"Um… We still on for dinner?"

"Yeah… Definitely."

"I was thinking that we go to a old fashion Japanese place downtown."

"Oh, that sounds nice!"

"Okay I'll meet you at the dorm after the concert."

"Okay. See you during intermission?"

"Yeah! Okay." With that Riku and Axel left to go get seats.

"He sooooo likes you." Sora said once they were out of earshot.

"Rea- SHUT UP! He does not. We are just friends." I said.

"Yeah surrre. Catch you later. I'm going to watch from the audience." Sora said then gave me a small pat on the back and left.

The curtain rose and the doors opened. People began spilling in and as soon a the seats were pretty full Rikku came out on stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen you are about to view some of the best artistic efforts right now by some of your peers. We will have each artist come out and unveil their pieces one at a time and talk about them a little after that we will move to the creative writing team. So I'm proud present your first artist Kairi Hime!" Rikkku said then walked off stage as Kairi walked on. She was greeted by applause and anyone could tell she loved it.

"Thank you! Thank you! I present my first piece of artwork." She said as she pulled the cover from a painting of a tall pale white man with long hair that faded through dark black to light gray. The man was sitting in the middle of a forest on a stump looking to the sky. " I call it color spectrum. He represents the disinvestment with nature." She said simply then moved on to the next podium. She unveiled a picture in a picture frame. It was a photo of a blond girl with brown eyes that I'd never seen before in a mini skirt and tube top. She was striking a pose on a city sidewalk and smiling flirtatiously. "Distraction. I bet It took you a second to see the old man behind her." I looked closer and saw a old homeless man with his hand out for money. Kairi walked to the third podium and unveiled a stained glass picture made of green and purple, but I couldn't make the picture in the pieces. "Simplicity. Why are you looking so hard? It's just a collage." She walked to her last podium and unveiled a large pink orb sculpture. "Life. I'll leave it at that. Thank you." Kairi said with a smile and bow at the applause. Kairi had gone for the more deeper meaning style of art and left the audience to think it over, though that was how most art was presented. As Kairi walked off Ku-Ku walked back on.

"That was wonderful. Thank you Kairi. Now we will have Xion Leonhart."Ku-Ku said then Xion walked out and Ku-Ku retreated.

Xion made no real acknowledgment of the audience besides a smile. She went to her first podium and revealed a sculpture of leafs falling from a tree. Before she said anything she went to her second podium and revealed a sculpture of hands around a heart. She moved to her third podium and revealed a shield sculpture. Finally she moved to the fourth podium and revealed a sculpture of mom's face. It was amazingly realistic. Her eyes, nose, and mouth were just like I remembered it. Her hair was the perfect color. Super dark brown so that it was almost black. "Peace, Warmth, Protection, Love. Thank you." With that Xion smiled and nodded and left the stage. Her sculpting skills were fantastic. Everything had such a realistic touch to it.

"How touching." Said Ku-Ku as she walked back on stage. "Now we will have Namine Gaka!" Ku-Ku said then returned backstage.

Namine walked out to a great amount of applause to which she blushed. "Thank you. Thank you." Namine said to which the crowd calmed down. "First I have to say I want my art to speak for itself so I won't talk much of them. Now for my first piece." She unveiled a painting of a girl with makeup on half her face, but all of the makeup she had on made her look gruesomely ugly compared to the other have of her face where she had no makeup at all. "Masked Beauty." She moved to her next podium and the uncovered a painting of a pristine white background with sloppy, but precise black dots. "Mistakes." She moved to her third one and uncovered a painting of a star in the middle of a dark blue sky with dark parts in it. The star seemed to to be stretched in five directions. It had a small crack down the middle that was ever so faint. "Broken and finally." She uncovered from the last podium. It was an blown glass vase with hearts in it and the flowers inside were dark lilies. Xion's favorites. "Content." With that she gave a bow and exited.

The crowd applauded loudly till Ku-Ku came out. "How fantastic! As it always is from Namine. Now our final artist Roxas Leonhart!" Ku-Ku said then once again left the stage.

I walked out into the applause. I put on my best fake smile, but I found myself not having to fake it when I saw Axel front in center applauding. "Thank you so much!" I said as I walk to my first podium."I present to you my first piece of work. I call it Renewed." It was a city scape picture. It was actually my interpretation of twilight town from the bay. It was the first of the city I'd ever seen. I remembered that night on the yacht. "Next is a very special pieces made for two of my good friends." I unveiled a painting of Demyx and Zexion. It was of homecoming night when they made up. They were hugging in such a happy moment. "I call it Connection." I saw Demyx and Zexion in the front and gave them a smile. Zexion looked happily embarrassed and Demyx was gushing at it. "Now my third pieces goes out to my brother. I call this one Magnificent Mirrors." It was a pastel drawing of Sora looking through the mirror at me or vice versa. We both had our hand against the mirror like in those cheesy romantic movies. Sora stood, whistled, and applauded until Riku made him sit down. "For my fourth and final piece I have used inspiration from someone special to me." I uncovered a large candle in the shape of ax. "I call It Ax Man A.K.A Stupid Lumberjack." I then lit the candle with a match and let it burn. The scent spread quickly. "It's a combination of cinnamon, sugar, and pine. They were the smells that reminded me of Axel. "I blew out the candle and bowed. "Thank you." With that I walked off stage and was greeted by Zexion.

"You did great job, Roxas." He said with nod of approvement.

"Thanks, Zex." I said.

"How amazing and the scent is amazing! Let's have another round of applause for our wonderful artist Kairi Hime, Namine Gaka, and Xion and Roxas Leonhart!" Ku-ku said from the stage The crowd cheered and applauded. "Now while the stage is cleared of all of this art enjoy this wonderful music. We will be back in a few moments with our creative writing authors who will will be reading you a couple of short stories." Ku-ku took few steps back and the curtain closed and some jazzy music came from the speakers. Kairi, Namine, Xion, and I walked out to get our art.

"Do you need help?" Zexion asked me.

"Yes, that would be nice." I said. Zexion held the carts still while I put the candle and painting on one cart and the Drawing and photograph on another, then we rolled the cart backstage. " Thanks, Zex."

"No, problem."

"By the way I want you and Demyx to keep this." I handed him the painting of them I had done.

He held it and looked it over. "Roxas this is even more magnificent up close. You're such a goods artist. Thank you for this."

"You're too nice. And you're welcome."

"Demyx is going to love this."

"I think he loves the real thing a little more." I said with a wink causing Zexion to blush.

"I-uh- It's about time for us to go on." Zexion said changing the subject clearly.

"Probably." I said as we began walking toward the stage.

The curtains opened and the music stopped just as we got there. Ku-ku once again walked out on the stage. "Now back to the performances. Now we will be told some wonderful stories by two of the creative writing students. Our first story teller will be Zexion Pawā. The audience applauded. I could hear Demyx's cheers all from off stage.

Zexion sat on a wooden chair center stage. He held his hand up as a signal for the applause, and Demyx, to cease. "Thank you. I'll be reading a short story I wrote. It's called Average Day." Zexion took a deep breath, opened his black and purple notebook, and began to read. "The day was average for him. The morning light was bright from the window of his modern dressed apartment. He awoke, combed his messy hair, got dressed for work, sat at his kitchen counter and ate some simple toast with jam and a glass juice as he read the daily news. He commuted to his well paying office job and worked his regular nine to five. After work he decided it would be ideal to head to the bookstore to buy the latest copy of his favorite book series. After buy it and a few other things he headed towards the subway, single bag in hand, but felt the need to unwind with some good food and a drink or two. He wasn't a heavy drinker, but did enjoy his fair dose of alcohol just as much as the next man. He turned the corner and walked the concrete till he reached one of his favorite dinner spots with a bar. He asked the hostess for a window seat, and was granted his desire. He was left alone with his thoughts, a menu, and his hunger. He perused the menu even though he was sure what he wanted. A cider brined pork chop with maple bacon chutney and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. His favorite meal to order. Once he'd placed his order and his waitress had left. His phone began to buzz in his pocket. It was a text message with an unfamiliar name. 'Good choice. Though it's always your choice, isn't it?' The messaged said. He looked around, but saw nobody staring at him or anyone suspicious at all. He replied to the odd message with 'Who is this?' No reply came before his food came. He brushed it off as a mistake in numbers. He began to chow down and when he'd finished and payed the bill he moved to the bar. He ordered a whisky and coke, a simple drink that he was use to. As he took a sip his phone went off again startling him to the point of slight spillage on his tie, but nothing a good dry cleaning couldn't fix. His phone alerted him he'd received another text message form that weird unfamiliar number. 'Drinking this late? Dangerous don't you think?' He looked around again this time carefully, but still nobody set off any of his alarms. Before he could gather himself his phone went off again. 'Oops! Did I startle you?' He quickly moved his fingers across his keypad to reply. 'Who is this? What do you want?' His nerves were getting best of him. He gulped down his drink. Then ordered a replacement and then a replacement for that one as well. Before he knew it he was five drinks in and feeling more light headed than he had want to be that night, and he'd still not heard from his stalker. He got up from the bar and began to leave. He didn't feel safe when he was sober walking down the street at night let alone intoxicated. He wasn't as tall as most men his age and certainly wasn't strong or athletic, but he was sure if he had to he could run for it. He tried to keep his wits about him, but everything seemed so fuzzy. He was down the street from the subway when he tripped and fell to his knees. 'Oh my, are you okay?' Came a voice from the fuzzy shadows. 'Yes I'm fine.' He said standing to his feet still not being able to see the shadowed figure. The figure reached out to help him as he was about to fall again. 'Let me help you.' The figure offered. He could tell who ever this was, was very strong with a tight grip. 'Oh, Thank you. I just need to get to the subway.' The figure nodded and head towards the subway, but turned into a dark alley way right before getting there. The figures grip got too tight to break from. Before he knew it he was thrown against the wall of a building. 'What do you think you're doing?' He yelled incoherently. The figure just chuckled. 'I told you it was dangerous to drink this late.'"Zexion trailed his last sentence and stood up. "Thank you for listening." The crowd applauded and Demyx went crazy with admiration. Zexion left the stage with a bow.

"Wow, Zex. That was an amazing story. It sent chills down my spine." I said to him once he was offstage.

"Thank you. I can't wait to hear yours." He said with a slight side smile.

"Wow do you guys feel freaked out? I do. That was a great story. Now let's hear our second story from Roxas Leonhart!" Ku-Ku said.

I walked out as everyone applauded and sat in the wooden chair. "Thank you!" The audience went silent. "I've written a story and I'll be sharing it with you all." I opened my notebook and took a breath." Keep Your Mouth Shut by Roxas Leonhart. He'd been seen. He felt the eyes of the young boy on his neck and as he turned to make eye contact. It was an unavoidable sequence of events that followed. The teen boy went wide eyed as the man he'd called his teacher approached him, slowly. 'Who's that?' the boy trembled out. 'No one important… Now.' The teacher answered gently. They stood eyes locked and dead silence. 'Shouldn't you get help?' The boy asked. 'Too. Late.' His teacher told him and at that the teen ran for his life. He was fast, but so was the teacher. The teen concerned with his life turned only to crash into a wall. He felt a hot sticky substance run down his face. He lifted his hand to touch his head and as he pulled it back it was covered in red liquid. He looked up, fear in his eyes, at the teacher. 'Please don't do this. I won't say anything I promise.' The boy begged and pleaded. 'Oh, but I know you won't.' The man took his foot and smashed the boy's right hand and causing him to once again wail. He then took a knife from his pocket and in one swift movement cut four of the boys five fingers off. The teen had almost passed out from pain and shock, but the older man's merciless back hand prevented that. He then repeated the action to the boy's left hand. By this point the younger was in complete shambles begging the man to just stop. The man bent down to the boy's ear and whispered gently. 'This is nothing personal. It's simply a formality. Infact just incase.' The older reached down and grabbed the younger's hair by the fist full and yanked till he screamed and as soon as the teen lips part a sharp blade ran through his mouth taking the greater amount of his tongue with it. The boy screamed in agony as he watch the pink muscle fall on to his leg and blood run from his mouth. The man grinned as he backed away from the boy. 'Now remember. Keep your mouth shut.'" I stood bowed and revived applause from my peers and teachers. I then nodded in thanks and walked off the stage.

"That was well composed Roxas." Zexion said to me once I was off stage.

"Thank you." I said with a gracious smile.

"I'm going back to Demyx now. Good luck in the concert."

"Thanks, I'll catch you later." I said as Zexion left.

"What a great creepy tale. Let's give one more round of applause for our two writers Zexion Pawā and Roxas Leonhart!" Rikku cheered and the crowd joined her. "It's now time to be delighted by our drama club's production of Assassins. Now sit back and enjoy. the stage went dark as some of the tech crew set up the stage. I went back to one of the boys dressing rooms that had been assigned to Sora and I if we wanted, which we did.

The room was rather nice it was pretty big and had a TV in it that had the feed of the stage. There was even snacks and drinks. I guessed that being part of this quarter performance concert was a bigger deal than I thought. I was a bit more nervous. Sora was already in the dressing room getting dressed and making weird faces in the mirror. He was so focused on pouting his lips that he hadn't noticed me come in.

"What are you doing?" I said as I closed the door.

"N-Nothing!" Sora quickly turned around and stammered nervously.

"Uh-huh sure. Are you about ready? You're up first." I said sitting down on the loveseat in the room.

"Yeah almost. We have like an hour and half before the concert." Sora said as he finished getting dressed. He was wearing a pair of white jeans a blue tank and a open white button up. He pair it with white vans.

"I know. Are you nervous?"

"No. Not really. Are you?" Sora said turning toward me.

"No… Kinda."

"You've already been on that stage like three times today. You'll do fantastic. By the way I loved that drawing."

"Thank you. It's for you to keep."

"Really? I'm going to hang it over my bed."

"Want me to make you look sparkly?" I asked as I went through my bag.

Sora sat in the spiny chair near the mirror. "Make me look like a star!" He said dramatically. I grabbed my black bag and pulled out some glitter, my eye shadow palette, and eyeliner. About thirty minutes later I was done and Sora was masked with silver and white glitter and had a thin eyeliner along with a airbrushed silver eye shadow.

"Ta-da! Now you look like a real star." I said turning Sora toward the mirror.

"Wow. Your really great at this makeup stuff, Rox." Sora said admiring his face in the mirror.

"Thanks…" I said not really paying attention. The TV had caught my eye and ear. "Is that Xion?" I asked.

"Yeah! I forgot she was in the play."

"I forgot she could sing so well…" Her high soft alto voice rang clear and tender. She looked to be a mother or something and by the way she sang it was there.

"I'm going to go get flowers for her. Are you okay?" Sora asked.

"Yeah." I said tearing my gaze from the TV. "Hurry back!" I warned.

"Yeah yeah. You should start getting dressed. You've got like an hour."

"It won't take me long."

"Are you sure? That outfit looks real tight. I'll be back soon." Sora said as he left.

"Huh?" I looked at the outfit on the chair behind me. I'd totally forgotten I'd told Sora to get this. I'd just have to deal with it. What was I thinking. I sighed and began changing. It took me at least thirty minutes to squeeze into my clothes. When I was done I began my makeup which didn't take me long. When I was all done I looked in the head to toe mirror. I looked pretty good in a pair of black leather pants with cuts down my thighs, which were so tight my flesh spilled over slightly, but not noticeably, and a long sleeved black shirt with fishnet sleeves that went around my thumbs. I wore my black heeled boots with spikes and a black choker with a blue flower on hit along with a few silver shiny bracelets. I glittered my face with black and silver glitter and had dark black eye shadow with raccoon eyeliner. I looked different than my normal style, but I kind of liked it. It felt almost power inducing.

"Back!" Sora said coming in the room with a bouquet of flowers and Riku and Axel.

"Did you buy these too?" I said pointing at the two taller ones of us four.

Nah, they came free." Sora said cheekily. "I see you squeezed into that. You're looking good."

"Yeah, I'm kinda liking these pants even though they're tight." I said looking at my legs and butt in the mirror.

"I like them too." Axel mumbled.

"Huh!?" I said turning around quickly thinking I misheard him. Was he looking at my butt?

"N-Nothing! I mean… You look good." He said with a nervous smile.

I blushed slightly still wondering if he had just checked out my butt. "Uh- Thanks." I said with a nervous laugh. Sora gave me and Axel a questioning look then whispered something to Riku who gave us the same look and nodded. "What?"

"Nothing." The both said nonchalantly.

"Let's watch the ending of the play." Sora said as he led Riku to the loveseat and turned the TV volume up.

I went to move my stuff so Axel and I could sit when a stack of papers fell and that's when hit me that I'd ask to Sora to get this music. I'd have to give to the band to the band and did I even know this song. I looked through the sheet music. I kind of knew it. I told myself I might as well I shrugged and turn to sit, but the loveseat full with Sora and Riku cuddling and Axel on the far end. I turned to go sit in the spiny chair when Axel gave me this awkward look and hand motion to his thighs as if to say ' You can sit here if you want.' I thought about it for a second before just sitting down on his lap I mean what harm could it do. At first I was little uncomfortable, because it felt awkward, but after a while I lean into him more and relaxed which also seemed to make him relax as well.

We four sat and watched till the end of the play. It was a pretty good performance. We heard the audience cheering from the dressing room they were so loud. All the actors bowed and the audience cheered more.

"We better go." Sora said to me. I nodded and stood up from my comfortable position on Axel's legs. Somehow I'd ended up laying on his chest in a curled like ball which was super comfortable especially since he was so warm. I could've fallen asleep there.

"Hey, Rox?" Axel said as I stood.

"Yeah?" I questioned with a slight head turn.

"Can we talk quickly?"

I looked at Sora who nodded and smiled. "Come on Riku. Help me find Xion." Sora said grabbing the bouquet and leaving with Riku.

"What's up?" I asked Axel as soon as the other two were gone.

"I-I just want to know if you're sure you're up for dinner tonight. I know you're going through a lot and I don't want to put you in something maybe you aren't ready for. Do you understand?" Axel spoke really slow and awkwardly as if he was saying some kind of code that I wasn't getting.

"I think so. I mean it's just dinner. Besides being with you will brighten my day some." I said answering as best I could.

"That's not what I-" He sighed and smiled lightly with some hidden frustration. "Nevermind. Good luck out there." He said wrapping me in a giant hug. "I'm going to meet you at dorm after the concert. I got reservations for eight so don't be late." He said before releasing me from the hug and leaving.

I really felt like I was missing something.

AXEL'S POV

I left Roxas and Sora's dressing feeling a sense of defeat. I didn't know what I was doing. I wanted to come straight out and asked him, but no matter how hard I tried I failed each time. It wasn't as if he gave me clear signs either. Like that candle he made I knew it was made for me, but as a friend or something more. It was unbelievably frustrating.

I returned to my seat next to Riku in the front row of the audience. "Did you ask him?" Riku said once I sat down.

"I tried. I just can't tell if he understood me." I sighed.

"Well stop beating around the bush and tell him you like him."

"I'm trying. I really am I just can't find the right words or time." I whined.

"Well you guys are going out tonight right?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, you'll be alone in a nice restaurant. Tell him then."

"Hmm maybe you're right. When'd you get so good at this romance stuff." I said giving him a sly look.

"I-I don't know…" Riku said taken back as if he'd had a weird epiphany.

RIKU'S POV

"Now ladies, gentlemen, Teachers, and Staff we are moments away from the most anticipated part of the show. THE FALL CONCERT!" Ku-Ku said and everybody cheered. "The band is setting up behind me and the your two performers are getting ready. You will be entertained by the Leonhart duo once again. First we'll have a performance by Sora Leonhart then one From Roxas Leonhart, and to finish the night off we'll have a duo duet!" Everybody once again cheered and applauded. "It has been a pleasure being your M.C. ! Now without further ado. SORA LEONHART!" The crowd cheered, Ku-ku walked off stage, the curtain rose and the lights went up. There center stage was Sora looking even more radiant on stage then when I'd seen him ten minutes ago.

"How's it going everybody! I'm Sora and this song goes out to someone special. I hope you like it." Sora said giving a gentle kind smile and a wink as the band started playing an upbeat yet slow song.

"We are runnin' so fast,
And we never look back,
And whatever I lack, you make up.
We make a really good team,
Though not everyone sees.
We got this crazy chemistry,
Between us."
Sora sang in that great voice of his that was kind of high pitched, but not squeaky.

"Jump starting your car 'cause this city's a bore.
Buying e-cigarettes at the convenience store.
Making new clichés on our own little tour.
Let's ride."
Sora continued moving his hips a little bit.

"You don't have to say I love you to say I love you.
Forget all the shooting stars and all the silver moons.
We've been making shades of purple out of red and blue.
Sickeningly sweet like honey, don't need money.
All I need is you.
All I need is you, you."
He grabbed the mic stand and point in the crowd in my direction subtlety.

"We try staying up late,
But we both are light weights.
Yeah we get off our face, too easy,
And we take jokes way too far.
'Cause sometimes living's too hard.
We're like two halves of one heart.
We are, we are, we are."
Sora put his hand, that wasn't holding the mic, in the air moving to the beat.

"You don't have to say I love you to say I love you.
Forget all the shooting stars and all the silver moons.
We've been making shades of purple out of red and blue.
Sickeningly sweet like honey, don't need money.
All I need is you.
All I need is you, you."
Sora had a shy yet cute look on his face and I knew he was looking at me. The crowd was clapping along and swaying to the beat .

"Eat a pill stay and chill, you don't need to go,
I'm about to bring emo back if you leave my home.
I'd panic at the disco and you'd rather watch a TV show.
Then I'll squeeze your booty real hard like I'm kneading dough.
Pizza boy, I'm speeding for ya.
We can get married tonight if you really wanna.
Me in a cheap suit like a sleazy lawyer.
And if you break this lil' heart, it'd be an honour."
He took a short breath and the music stopped being so intense, and became almost like a lullaby, then he began to rap, which I had no idea he could do.

"You don't have to say I love you to say I love you.
Forget all the shooting stars and all the silver moons.
We've been making shades of purple out of red and blue.
Sickeningly sweet like honey, don't need money.
All I need is you.
All I need is you, you."
Sora ended his hand extended to me with such an amazing goofy smile. The crowd cheered widely, while I sat in amazement.

"Thank you!" Sora screamed before exiting the stage.

I was ready.

AXEL'S POV

While Sora exited the stage Roxas walked on looking very rocker. I had noticed it in the dressing room and I'd admit I was a little bit taken away by his outfit. Though it really wasn't like Roxas to dress like that. In fact even on the stage he didn't look like himself not just because of the clothes or makeup either. It was something else I couldn't place.

"HOW'S IT HANGING!" Roxas shout to the crowd who cheered! "LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" Roxas shouted even louder as an electric guitar strum began.

"I'm not a slut, I just love love!"Roxas said rhythmically then laughed as the beat picked up.

"Tell me something new,
Cause I've heard this.
Okay I'll fuck you!
A little taste test.
You'll be my little friend.
You'll be my little friend.
You'll be my little friend!
" Roxas sang while he dance mostly with his hips.

"And they think we fall in love,
But that's not it.
Just want to get some.
Ain't that some shit.
You'll be my little friend.
You'll be my little friend.
You'll be my little friend.
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
" Roxas sang pointing into the crowd then began jumping around.

"I got a little piece of you!
And it's just like woo-hoo!
Wham Bam thank you Ma'am!
Boo-hoo!
I'm a slut like you!
You say you're looking for a foo-ool,
And I'm just like 'me too'!
I'm gonna let ya know the truth!
I'm a slut like you!
"Roxas was now moving quite provocatively, but the crowd just cheered him on.

"Sitting with my friends,
And we're picking who we might let in.
That one!
Them boys are starving.
They're just our little friend.
What!
They're just our little friend.
Huh!
They're just our little friend."
Roxas was on the edge on the stage strutting and shaking his hips.

"Listen you little fucker.
You think you call the shots.
I just bought you some.
Drink up your ride's gone.
This might be fun.
You're now my little friend.
You're now my little friend.
You're now my little friend.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
"Roxas was pointing to someone I couldn't see and making seductive faces. I was a bit annoyed, but I was sure it was all an act.

" Roxas was now really moving his hips provocatively all the girls and some guys were screaming. I couldn't take my eyes off of him and it was causing me uncomfortable problems.

"You don't win a prize with your googly eyes.
I'm not a cracker jack.
You can't go inside,
Unless I let you Jack... or Sam.
F*ck what's your name again?
You male come now!
You caveman sit down!
You shh don't ruin it, Bow!
Check please!
" Roxas stood center stage and began to rap slightly then began to walk to the front of the stage and sat down so his feet dangled off the edge. He was in my touching distance.

"I, I've got a little piece of you,
And it's just like woo.
Wham Bam thank you Ma'am.
Boo-hoo.
I'm a slut like you!
Woo-hoo!
Looks like the joke's on you-hoo!
So go home and cry like boo-hoo!
I'm a slut like you!
" The music had taken a quieter note and Roxas voice became softer as he looked me in the eyes and sang.

"I got a little piece of you.
And it's just like woo-hoo.
Wham Bam thank you Ma'am
Boo-hoo.
I'm a slut like you!
You say you're looking for a foo-ool,
And I'm just like "me too".
I'm gonna let ya know the truth.
I'm a slut like you!
" The music had picked back up completely possibly even louder. Roxas had jumped off the stage toward me and was now sitting on my lap giving me essentially a lap dance. I knew he had to feel my situation. I was completely embarrassed.

"I got a little piece of you.
And it's just like woo-hoo.
Wham Bam thank you Ma'am
Boo-hoo.
I'm a slut like you!
You say you're looking for a foo-ool,
And I'm just like "me too".
I'm gonna let ya know the truth.
I'm a slut like you!
" Roxas was now off of me a prancing up and down the aisles singing. I was still in shock from what had happened It was hard to comprehend his lyrics. He had ended up on the stage somehow and everyone was cheering.

"THANK YOU EVERYBODY!" Roxas shouted, somewhat out of breath, to the crowd who seemed to love him completely. Roxas seemed to love them too. He was smiling and waving to all of them. "Now let's calm it down. Me and my brother have one last song for you. SORA!" The crowed cheered as Sora ran out on stage. They both sat on stools Roxas had an acoustic guitar though. Roxas began to strum slowly.

"When I first walked in the room.
I saw your face.
Baby girl I was so amazed.
I caught you smiling back at me,
But I didn't know what to say.
" Roxas sang as he played.

"Hey now baby boy.
Don't you know,
I'm ready for you, you, you.
Now boy what you gonna do.
" Sora sang. I saw Sora making eye contact with Riku and swaying.

"'Cause I know you the one I've been searching for." Roxas sang swaying as well.

"I know with you My life means more." Sora said with a smile at Riku.

"I wish I could say these things to you." Roxas said looking at me for a second, which I hoped meant more than it probably did.

"Come here baby boy.
Let me listen to you.
"Sora sang.

"I just wanna love you.
Give me that chance.
Wanna hold you.
Baby you know,
That I need you, I need you.
And I'm wondering all the time.
If you love me,
Come on over get to know me.
Baby because I know,
You need me you need me,
And I want you in my life.
Yeah, yeah.
" Sora and Roxas sang in unison as the beat came in, which was really weird. Their voices seemed to blend so well together.

"Yeah, cut to the chase.
We don't play no games.
The beating of my heart.
Just tell me if you feel the same.
This feeling is true.
You ain't gotta play it cool.
I've been searching all my life.
Baby boy I know it's you.
" Sora rapped not taking his gaze from Riku.

"'Cause I know you the one I've been searching for." Roxas sang.

"I know with you My life means more."Sora sang as the crowed adopt a sway.

"I wish I could say these things to you." Roxas sang once again looking at me. Maybe it wasn't coincidental.

"Now Come here baby boy.
Let me listen to you.
" Sora sang higher than he had been as the music picked up.

"I just wanna love you.
Give me that chance.
Wanna hold you.
Baby you know,
That I need you, I need you.
And I'm wondering all the time.
If you love me,
Come on over get to know me.
Baby because I know,
You need me you need me,
And I want you in my life.
Yeah, yeah.
" They both sang Sora looking at Riku and Roxas looking at me this time. It wasn't for long, but he was trying to say something.

"You make me go
Oh woah, woah, woah.
I don't wanna be alone no more.
Oh woah, woah, woah.
Without you I feel So cold yeah." Roxas began to strum faster and looked directly at me as he sang. He was definitely telling me something. What it was though wasn't clear.

"Because days without
You they don't feel the same." Sora sang to Riku.

"Now I see just you and me.
Baby you make,
Everything complete." They both sang in unison holding a rather high note for awhile.

"I just wanna love you.
Give me that chance.
Wanna hold you.
Baby you know,
That I need you, I need you.
And I'm wondering all the time.
If you love me,
Come on over get to know me.
Baby because I know,
You need me you need me,
And I want you in my life.
Yeah, yeah.

La la la la la." They both sang. At the finished they stood and bowed and the crowed cheered.

"THANK YOU! You've been great!" Sora said to the audience.

"You're all fantastic! THANKS!" Roxas said as he and Sora left the stage.

I want to go backstage and find Roxas, but I thought it best to talk about it over dinner. I went back to the dorm to get ready.

ROXAS'S POV

I felt such a sense of adrenaline after the show. I also felt a sense of embarrassment. I don't know what had come over me during my song that caused me to get on top of Axel like that. Though I was kind more than sure he enjoyed it more than maybe I thought he might. I hoped he'd forgive me though.

I'd lost Sora to Riku. They were being awfully flirty and I sensed a near boyfriend for my twin brother and I was happy for him. I had a feeling Sora needed Riku just as much as Riku needed Sora. I'd gone back to the dressing room grabbed my stuff not bothering to change since I didn't want to be late to meet up with Axel and I still had to go visit Mr. Kowai at the teacher living quarters. I hurried over to Mr. Kowai quarters and knocked on the door. He was on the first floor lucky.

"Hello Mr. Leonhart." Mr. Kowai said as he opened the door.

"Uh hello, sir." I said awkwardly.

"What's the matter? You look flustered." Mr. Kowai asked with a concerned look.

"I'm just in a hurry. I need to go somewhere after this."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hold you back. Come in and I'll get the book and you can be on your way."

"Okay. Thank you." I said walking into his lavished housing. For such minimal space it was still decorated elegantly. "You have a very nice place, sir." I called distantly.

"Why, thank you. Feel free to sit." Mr. Kowai said distantly. I took the offer and sat down on the nice brown leather couch against the olive green wall. Seconds later Mr. Kowai came out with a gray covered book with dust on it. "It's a little dusty." He blew on the book and some of the dust got in my eyes. I began to rub my eyes in discomfort. "Oh dear, I'm sorry."

"It's fine just a little dust." I said still rubbing my eyes.

"Here let me help." Before I could comprehend what happened something warm was over my mouth and nose. I couldn't breath then I could, but now everything was becoming fuzzy and black.

I was awoken by a pain in my abdomen. I couldn't remember falling asleep or where I was. The pain was getting worse. It would hurt really bad then fade to a dual pain, but still hurt pretty bad. I couldn't open my eyes. I felt so sluggish and achy. I need to figure out where I was and what was making my body hurt so bad. I mustered all my energy into opening my eyes. I was blinded by the light. I couldn't see anything, but I could hear something. A smacking sound and someone's voice. I tried calling to bright void, but no sound came out. My eyes slowly adjusted and what I saw made me want to go back to sleep and never wake up.

Mr. Kowai was on top of me shoving his vial penis into me over and over. I couldn't move or scream. I couldn't even tell him to stop I was weak all over and numb from the waist up.

"I see you're awake." He groaned as he violated me.

"P-p-please…" I murmured

"You want more?" He shoved harder and deeper into me causing my eyes to roll back in pain. "You know Roxas you're a bit loose here. You must have done this before." He said between harsh breaths and quick pumps with a sickening smirk on his face. "I was hoping to be your first. So who else has been in here? Is it that skin thin redhead?" He said this with another forceful pump. "Maybe not maybe another. And here I thought you were into pretty girls." He said with more strokes faster than before.

"S-s-stop…." I begged.

"You know what, Roxas?" He grabbed my arms and pulled me up causing my sight to go all wonky from being so lucid. He sat down on the bed where I had lied just moments ago. In this position I felt the pain increased tremendously. I was in so much pain and so weak I couldn't help, but lay on his shoulders while he repeatedly thrusted harder and harder into me. "I bet you're wondering why you're here?" He whispered seductively in my ear. I closed my eyes so tight. I just want to be anywhere, but where I was. "I wasn't going to go after you. Infact I was going to go after your little friend Zexion. He seemed so appetizing until this morning." At Zexion name my eyes watered.

It could have been him here instead of me. I didn't want that. He didn't need this. Not after what he'd told me. Not this. "You had the most devastating look on your face. So cute. I couldn't help myself." He whispered as he bit my ear making me cringe. All I kept telling myself was that Zexion didn't have to go through this. If I was protecting one of my friends it was worth it… Right? "Oh Roxas, I'm going to cum. This time you'll see it." He began to push my body up and down on himself as he grunted like some kind of animal. I want to cry out in pain, but I couldn't.

He didn't stop till he'd filled me with his disgusting slimy seamen. He'd stopped for a few seconds panting for air. What did he mean this time? How long had I been here? How long had he been violating me? How many times had he released himself inside of me? To think of the answers to these question made me want to cry more than I already was.

"Roxas, you're truly too good to quit." He said with a small chuckle. He slammed me against the bed and began thrusting himself in to me deeper and harder than I could possibly handle. He was grunting and laughing as I groaned in pain. It felt like he was inside my stomach. The pain I was feeling felt never ending. I was on the verge of passing out from the pain when he came inside me once again. He didn't even take a second to breath before he slung me over his shoulder, causing me more blurry vision, and laid me on a much harder surface. I regained some feeling in my mouth to speak.

"What do you want from me?" I said so quiet I didn't think he heard me. I felt my legs become restricted, then I saw him lift my arms over my head though I didn't feel it.

"Roxas, I only want one thing from you." He said as he walked out of my sight. He came back with a mouth gag. "Your love." He placed the gag in my mouth and I groaned. "You seem to be more awake. I'm glad I think you'll like this part." He ran his hand down my neck to my abdomen and down to my shaft. "I want you to like me, Roxas." He began to slowly pump my shaft and though I didn't want it, but my body betrayed me. "At first I was going to screw you and leave you outside before you woke up, but after seeing how your body conformed to me and takes it so well, not to mention how good you feel, I realized how much I need you Roxas." He pumped me faster and tightened his grip slightly causing me to let out a moan through my gag against my will. "Roxas, I want this to work for us. If it doesn't I can't control what might happen." He began to pump even faster, and I felt a warm feeling forming inside me. "See how your body wants me too." He squeezed the bottom of my shaft and I came with a small twitch and a lot of self disappointment. He licked my cum from fingers then pulled the gag from my mouth. "Will you love me?"

"Never." I mustered up my dirtiest look I could give.

"Then I'll make you." He said with a glare. He placed the gag back on me forcefully. He moved swiftly out of my view again and came back with a whip. Without a second's pause and the sternest face he hit my stomach and pain shot through me. "Love me." He whipped me again, harder, this time on my right thigh. I groaned in pain. "Love. Me." He hit me a third time in the left thigh even harder. Tears were running fast down my face. "Love. Me. Love. Me. Love. Me." He repeated and repeated hitting me harder and harder with each word.

Pain consumed me once again. I closed my eyes and tried to escape anywhere. There was a small voice telling me to let go and I wanted to so bad. Why was my teacher suddenly obsessed to me? Why was I here? I want to let go. Just give up and not feel this pain anymore. Who knew how long this would go on and I didn't think I would survive it. I wanted Sora. I wanted Axel. I wanted to die. To be released and forget this ever happened. That voice was getting louder and louder, and at some point in my thoughts I got lost and fell asleep.

A/N: Heyo! Long time no see. I like this chapter. It's long and there is so much drama. I honestly feel like not even writing this story anymore and I'm just watching it write it's self. Well till next time...
