Valentine's day morning Sidney knew something was wrong immediately. Everything was pink. She went to the Great Hall to get some breakfast. She heard Draco say, "Don't look now, but Lockhart is wearing all pink!" She looked, "Oh, no!" Lockhart wasn't just wearing pink; he was giving small men little things. She was sure they were handouts!

Lockhart stood up, announcing, "Happy Valentine's day, everyone! As you see, I have little valentine dwarves to give each and every one of you your valentine from me!" Sidney groaned, "Oh...no!" She saw one of them pointing at her, mumbling to the others. Draco patted her on the shoulders, "Um...there's someone here to see you!" Sidney turned to find Professor Lockhart right behind her, grinning widely. "Ms. Potter, can you come with me, please?" She nodded, "Yes sir." She left with him.

Just as they got out of The Great Hall, Professor Lockhart said, "I have a special valentine gift for you, my dear." Sidney ground her teeth together and pretended to be curious, "Yeah?" He grinned down at her, "I believe you will simply adore it."

Sidney and Lockhart went to Hagrid's hut. Sidney saw Hagrid looked angry until he saw her. He said, "Wha' are yeh doin' with the Potter girl, Professor?" Sidney grimaced at him; Lockhart said, "We're just passing through. I'll see you later, my dear friend." He held Sidney's shoulder tightly; she shifted it underneath his grip.

He brought her to the Quidditch Field. She gasped, for real! "You- You actually got me this?!"It was a beautiful sight alright! It was a statue of a white rose! She loved it! "Oh, Professor Lockhart! I-I love it!" She hugged him; he patted her on the back, "I knew you would!" She sighed, "Thank you!"

There was a noise behind them; Draco stood, holding something even better than the rose! Sidney's glee rose to her throat and she choked on it. She could only take the young red fox and tears of joy spilled from her eyes.

Draco grinned at her reaction; he didn't know she'd love it this much! He gasped when she ran to him and gave him a humungous hug! "Oh, Draco! Oh, Draco! I-I-I don't know what to say!" He smiled, "A simple thank you would suffice." She murmured into his ear, "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you! Oh, thank you!" Lockhart stared at the two; the child smiled softly.

Sidney and Draco sat on a tree, smiling. He said, "Oh Sidney..." She smiled up at him, "Draco..." He said, "this is one of the best days of my life!" Sidney looked up, "Me too!' He chuckled, "Oh...you're so wonderful..I don't ever want to lose you!" She said, "Can we watch the sunset on a broom tonight?" He looked down at her softly, "Oh, of course Sidney! You are allowed to ask for rides any time; it is your broom!" She smiled at him, "I just know you are always working." He smiled at her and kissed her cheek. "I'll wake you when it's time to fly, alright? Just go to sleep." She smiled up at him; he seemed to know her perfectly.

Harry looked up the tree, grumbling to himself. He growled, but then Hermione came along. She grabbed his hand, "Let's watch the sun set by the lake?" He smiled, "Sure." The two smiled at each other, and Harry said, "Did you know you are beautiful?" She shook her head, "No, I didn't." He murmured into her hair, "Well, you are."

Sidney was awoken at sunset. Draco had her broom in his hand, "Come on!" She smiled tiredly up at him, "Oh...Draco!" She yawned and then they got on the broom. She was in front, so she could lean on him. He smiled and flew the broom up to the setting sun. Harry saw them; a dot against the sun. He looked at Hermione, who smiled softly at them.

Draco started to make the broom do crazy moves; they tumbled, freewheeled, and soared through the sky! Sidney smiled softly at him; he and Sidney were staring at the setting sun and the newly coming out stars. She looked at the moon, "Oh...it's so pretty!" He looked at it and shrugged, "Not as pretty as you!" She smiled at him.

Sidney couldn't describe the feeling she felt; she felt happy, joyful, and as if she was in a dream. She actually felt she would have to wake up sometime. Draco stared at her; she wore a beautiful dress that complimented her hair with its color. Light blue. She held her hair in a thick ponytail and wore a gold necklace and earrings. She held her bangs out of her face with a white flower. So beautiful.

Draco's heart felt like it was lifted too! She was the one; he knew it! Sidney, with her exceptionally good looks and smart brain. She was the prettiest girl he ever knew. He didn't care that she was a parselmouth.

Harry and Hermione sat on the side of the lake. Hermione smiled at the glittering lake. Harry held her hand softly, she looked. She stared into his eyes, "Thank you, Harry." He smiled, "No...thank you!" She smiled at him softly, "I love you." He gasped slightly, "I love you too!" Her eyes were so perfect.

They both smiled to themselves about this. Harry hugged Hermione closer. She smiled at him, "Oh...Harry, you will never believe what I just thought!" Harry looked at her, "What?" She said, "About children!" He smiled softly, "They'd be beautiful!"

Hermione looked up at Harry; his perfect face. He had such a perfect heart. He...

Harry looked down at Hermione in her purple dress. She had such a perfect face and frame. She was perfect...

Draco stopped the broom at the astronomy tower. They got off the broom and sat there. The sun was down. Sidney leaned against Draco. She looked into his eyes; he took a strand of hair out of her hair. He tipped her head back and closed his eyes as they kissed.

Sidney couldn't open her eyes; she savored the sensation of his soft lips. He was perfect. She put her hand at the back of his jaw. They were perfect; they both knew it. They were meant for each other.

The kiss ended; Sidney's head hit his shoulder. He moved her head to his lap. She closed her eyes, murmuring, "I love you..." He kissed her cheek, "Goodnight." She fell asleep. He lay down on his back, hugging her closely. She snuggled into him. They lay there, both finally asleep.

Hermione and Harry walked back into the castle and fell asleep in the Gryffindor main room. They lay there, both asleep. Neville found them there, but didn't wake them. He smiled and went asleep in his dorm.
