Jeremy and I were in a rush to get to school after an impromptu session of sexual intercourse. I began to look through the closet for anything that I could wear and pulled this purple dress. I wasn't sure how appropriate it was for school, but I threw it on quickly, not even wearing underwear.
"Jeremy, we're late." I told him as I threw my hair into a ponytail.
"Maybe we should be later." He suggested. "Or we could not go entirely."
"Jeremy, together we've nearly missed enough days to be held back. I do not want to repeat my sophomore year." I reminded him. "We need to go."
He then ambushed me and began to kiss me. I giggled girlishly.
"Okay we can wait a little while longer." I agreed as we fell back onto my bed. I had a feeling that we wouldn't be the only ones late because from what I heard, Leah and Elena had definitely made up. It was one of the reasons I was so turned on in the first place.
We met up with Leah on the way down and saw Damon with Elena…and Katherine. He was clearly having a hard time telling the two of them apart.
"That's Elena." I said pointing to the one on the right.
"How do you know?" Katherine asked in surprise.
"You don't a smell of vervain on you." I answered before Damon grabbed her by the throat. So why don't we start with what you're doing here? I thought you'd still be in the tomb."
"An Original's compulsion can only be active as long as they remain alive." Mom stated as she walked into the room. I think Anna was already at school. "The moment that you stuck that dagger into Kol, she was free to leave. So you're the woman who manipulated and turned my children. I figured it was time that we met. Sara, you should go to school. I've got it from here."
So, I had figured out that my mother could be scary. It was not easy to see why she was pissed at Katherine. Even though I didn't care if she did, I was glad that she approved of Jeremy. Jeremy and I headed out to my car and we eventually arrived at the school. I had to have Anna cover for us. That is an advantage of being a vampire.
"Why is Katherine in your house?" He asked me as he stepped out of the car. I rubbed some red lipstick because he kind of interrupted my makeup process.
"She wants Rebekah dead as much as the rest of us." I explained. "Maybe she feels that the enemy of her enemy is her friend."
"I think she's trying to get you to sleep with her again and possibly Damon too." He opined. "I want her gone."
"Well as much I want to throw her out on her ass, I think we should at least find out why she didn't go to Istanbul, not Constantinople."
He just stared at me.
"It's an old reference, sorry." I explained. "Look I hate her as much as you do, but she knows Rebekah better than anyone."
"That doesn't mean that I want her in your house." He pointed out as he hugged me close. "Maybe you can stay over with me."
"I can't there's a girl's night at Caroline's." I explained. "Bonnie and Tina will be there."
I met up with Tina in the lunchroom.
"So are you excited about tonight?" She asked. She noticed the look on my face. "Why are not smiling?"
"Katherine is in my house." I declared.
"Do you want me to stake her?" She asked. "I can do it."
"As much as I'd enjoy that, we can't because don't know what she's planning." I pointed out.
"Does it matter?" The blonde inquired. "I say just kill her and be done with her for good."
"She's the only one who's ever met Rebekah now that Kol is daggered." I explained.
It was at that point that I got a call from my mom. I pressed the green answer button.
"I hate Katherine." She told me. "I can't believe that you or Damon ever saw anything in her. If I had been with you, I would have forbid you from being with her. Also I'm cranky because Damon tried to burn Kol. I bought him from that shirt that your brother ruined.
I then met up with Jeremy as we went over to Bonnie. We told her about how Katherine was out of the tomb.
"She's out of the tomb?" The witch asked in surprise.
"Yeah, and since she is, we have to figure out a way to get your powers back." Jeremy added. Jonas had taken them from her because…well the only reason I could come up was he was a douchebag.
"I want to talk to the Martins." I explained. Even if he was a douchebag, he was still a powerful one. "If we all work together, we'd be more useful against Rebekah."
"That's impossible." Bonnie remarked. "They hate us."
"But they hate Rebekah more." I pointed out. "Do you think that you can convince them to a civil conversation with us?"
"I can try." She offered. At least that was good.
After school, Bonnie and I went to the Grill and got a table. The Martins walked in shortly after we did.
"Thank you for coming." I welcomed them.
"I didn't want to, but my son convinced me." Jonas replied.
"Bonnie said you know where Kol is." Luca added.
"Kol is dead, with a dagger in him." I explained. Jonas immediately tried to get up. I got up and grabbed him. "Just listen to me. We can help."
"We know that Rebekah has your daughter." Bonnie remarked. "I am sorry for how we got that information, but we want to help you get her back."
"How?" Luca asked. That was definitely a good question. I didn't exactly know the answer.
"Well I know that you and Kol must have had a plan to kill her." I stated. "We need you to tell us what that plan is. You can trust us. You have my word."
"There's a house where 100 witches were massacred in the 1600s." Luca answered.
"Damon told me that Kol was looking for it." I said. "Why did he want to know?"
"If a witch can channel those witches, they can get enough to power to kill an Original, even one as powerful as Rebekah. We need to find out where it is, so we can harness that power."
A little later, I met up with Anna and Damon…and unfortunately Katherine, at the house.
"What did the witches have to say?" Anna questioned.
"Kol didn't have a weapon to kill Rebekah." I explained. "But if you figured that if a witch could channel enough power, he wouldn't need one. So where's Mom?"
"She was meeting with Mrs. Lockwood to introduce herself." Damon explained. "She is a Founding Family member."
"And why is she still here?" I questioned before I went up to my room. I needed to get ready to go, but I wanted to write in my diary first.
Dear Diary
Have I mentioned how much I hate Katherine lately? Even if I have, let me reiterate. I hate, hate, hate Katherine. Though, one thing that I am glad for is the fact that Mom is keeping her word when it comes to Kol, which definitely can't be easy for her. Anyway, I'm hanging out with Caroline and Bonnie, and Tina tonight. I really hope that we can have fun and not have to worry about the world for one night.
From there, I went over to Caroline's house and met up with the vampire, huntress, and witch.
"So should we get Chinese or pizza?" Caroline asked. Tina and I wanted pizza and I think Caroline and Bonnie wanted Chinese. "Okay, hostess casts the deciding vote."
She took out her tablet and she noticed that she still had a picture of her and Matt as her wallpaper.
"I'll do it." Bonnie volunteered, taking the tablet.
"So is Dr. Martin really gonna help us?" Tina questioned.
"I don't know what to believe." Bonnie admitted. "I think he's confused and angry."
"Well what are we going to do about this movie situation?" Caroline questioned. "What about The Notebook?"
"I want a happy movie." I replied. "I believe that movies should an escape from reality and I don't want to cry while watching one."
"What about Bambi?" Tina suggested.
"Do you honestly think I would be able to watch that? I've killed a lot of deer." I responded.
"Okay how about we just skip all of the ordering and movie drama and we can go dancing?" Caroline suggested. "There is a band at the Grill tonight and I think that it will be awesome."
"Why the hell not?" I responded. "I'm already dressed for a night out after all."
"Are you sure going to the Grill's a good idea?" Tina asked.
"Yes." Caroline replied.
At that point, I got a text from Anna saying that she and Damon had found the location of the house and that she was texting me because she didn't want Katherine to know about it. Only a few minutes later, I got a call from her.
"The Martins tried to release Kol." She told me. "They were using this astral projection spell or something. I'm on my way over right now."
"Just let me know what happens." I instructed as we walked into the restaurant. "I got to go."
The band was some kind of hipster rock group. I understood that they couldn't get anyone big, but couldn't they have gotten someone who actually rocked? I also noticed that Matt was there, and Leah had also decided to bring Elena and Jenna. I guess practically everyone was here tonight.
"Why was this a good idea?" Tina asked me. I don't think that I could answer that.
"I'm gonna go get a drink. Do you want anything?" She questioned.
"It has to be non-alcoholic." She answered. "I'm on probation. How are you getting them?"
"Do you even have to ask?" I responded with a devious smile. "So do you want coffee or Pepsi?"
"How about some Pepsi, but if you want to mix a little tequila in it, I might be okay." She explained.
"Sure thing." I replied as I noticed Bonnie trying to convince Caroline to talk to Matt. It was at that moment that I had an idea. I jumped onto the stage. I looked the band leader in the eye. "Play backup for me."
Everyone then looked at me.
"Hey, everyone, I haven't really sung in a while, but I have a dedication I'd like to make. This is for Matt Donovan from Caroline Forbes."
Oh thinking about our younger years
It was only you and me
We were young and wild and free
Now nothing can take you away from me
We've been down that road before
But that's over now, you keep me coming back for more
Baby you're all that I want when you're lying here in my arms
I'm finding it hard to believe we're in heaven
And love is all that I need and I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see we're in heaven
I then looked over Matt and Caroline who were kissing and the crowd cheered as they watched it. All that I could say was mission accomplished.
"That was really nice of you." Tina told me.
"I'd do the same for any of my friends." I pointed out. "Except I will not sing to my brother for you."
It was then, my phone began to ring like crazy. It was Anna once more.
"Damon killed Luca." She explained. "Jonas is looking for Elena and he is vengeful. I don't know what he plans on doing to her. Do you know where she is?"
"She's here at the Grill." I answered. "Where are you?"
"I think it would be a good idea to get her home." Anna replied. "Find her and get her out of there. I'll meet you there and please be careful. He literally has nothing else to live for. He could do anything."
"I have an idea." I stated. "Call Damon and tell him to bring Katherine to the Gilbert house. It'll be a good way to catch him off-guard. At this point, we just need to kill him because he won't stop otherwise."
I then began to look for Elena. I started by checking the bathroom and found that she wasn't there, but Caroline and Matt were making out in it. I supposed that she didn't need to know about what was happening at the moment. I really wanted her to enjoy herself. I did want to tell her that a public bathroom is a not a good place to have sex though. I had more important things to worry about like finding Elena. I then noticed Leah and saw Elena was standing next to her before I began to walk over to them.
Before I could get to them, I noticed that Jonas had walked in. There were several words going through my mind at the moment and most of them began with f. Bonnie went over to talk to him, but wasn't being reasonable. Suddenly the lights began to explode. I ran towards the two of them and grabbed them.
"Where are we going?" Elena asked me once we were outside.
"Long story short: Luca's dead and Jonas wants you and we can't let him have you." I responded. "I'm taking you home. I have a plan but you probably won't like it."
"Just tell me what to do and I'll do it." Elena remarked.
"Okay, what you need to do is hide in your room while we get this under control." I instructed as I headed into the house.
What we did was have Katherine impersonate Elena and while he didn't expect it, she bit him and killed him. I went with Jeremy and Bonnie into the bathroom where it happened where she had blood all over her face.
"You're welcome." She replied.
"Just take his body and get out of here." I ordered. Suddenly Jonas got up and grabbed Bonnie. I grabbed him and snapped his neck. There was no way that he could have survived that. At that point, Anna, Leah and Elena entered the room.
"So I guess he is not gonna be much help to us." Leah stated after Katherine had removed his body. "So what are we going to do about the witch house?"
"We have that under control." Anna responded. "I'm going home. I'll meet you there."
I then went to Jeremy's room and sat on his bed with him.
"I can't believe that all of this stuff happened while I wasn't around." He commented.
"That's probably a good thing." I pointed out.
"Well am I going to get to hear you sing sometime?" He questioned.
"Maybe when the time is right." I told him. "It isn't right now."
"Is there anything that you can't do?" He asked me.
"Yes there is plenty." I stated. "I'm not very good at auto repair. I've never done open-heart surgery, and I've never kissed a boy in the rain before."
"It's too bad that it's not raining right now." He replied.
"I guess we'll just have to settle for a dry kiss." I replied before our lips crashed. "I should probably get going. I want to tell my mom about what happened."
I went home and found her in her room. I think we had one open room at this point. I needed to make sure that Katherine didn't try to sneak into my bed tonight.
"Did anyone tell you what happened to the Martins?" I asked her.
"I can't believe that you killed them. They were supposed to be Kol's weapons against Rebekah, not that we could find the place where the witches were burned."
"Damon knows where they were killed." I told her. "Our good friend Jonathan Gilbert happened to have it in one of his journals."
"Well you should remove the dagger from Kol and tell him that." She suggested. "We're still without a witch."
"We have a witch." I pointed out. "Bonnie might be able to channel the witches, but we're not removing the dagger from Kol because he will kill us."
"I'll ask him not to. He'll listen to me." She argued.
"I know that you may love him, but he needs to stay dagger for right now." I responded. "So I never asked you before. Have you ever actually met Rebekah? Can you tell us anything about her?
"I haven't met her." She explained. "Kol was the one whose blood I took, but I didn't see him again for 70 years."
I then went to my room where I saw that Katherine was waiting for me on my bed wearing a negligee.
"Are you seriously doing this?" I asked her.
"Come on, Sara. I did what you wanted and I helped save Elena tonight." She declared. "The least you can do is give me a reward."
"You don't deserve a reward, Katherine." I responded. "Even though you helped us, this changes nothing."
"Are you ever going to not be mean to me, Sara?" She asked me with a pout.
"No, you're worthy of anyone's trust." I pointed out. "You'd probably betray me if it meant that you would get to live. Not to mention that everything that's happened in this town since I came back is your fault. So I'm going to say this once. Get the fuck out of my room."
I pushed her off of my bed and watched her walk out. I couldn't help but wonder if she would try to seduce Damon or possibly Anna or Leah, but right now I needed to sleep.
So it was Sara who ended up singing an 80s classic instead of Caroline. Rebekah's almost made it to Mystic Falls. but we won't be seeing her for a little while. Please don't forget to review.
