Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or One Piece. If I did then Spandam would be incredibly dead and Naruto probably have been promoted to chunin with Shikamaru...There's an idea for a future story!

Chapter 36: The Yondaime's Return

Back in the remains of Amegakure, the medical tent of the Allied Forces was still bustling with both patients and medic-nin. The level of casualties had only increased as Cell and Pein tore through their ranks like rice paper. However there were still quite a few injured and dearly departed from the previous clashes with the Akatsuki's forces in the woods and village itself, with examples of those being Rock Lee, Isaribi Inuzuka, and Shikamaru Nara.

The latter had suffered much more severe injuries than the others in his one-sided fight against Rob Lucci which only barely ended in his victory, and was currently in a painful struggle to stay alive, while the medic-nin in the tent operated on his condition "This gaki won't stop screaming!"

"At least that means we know he's still alive for now. We just got to keep his body from breaking down."

While Shikamaru's unconscious cries of pain rang out through the tent, another shinobi of the Konoha 10 woke up with a massive aching sensation from all across their body. This shinobi was Rock Lee, who finally awakened after his fight with Deidera about 12 hours ago "Wait a minute, where am I? And why is everything hurting?" Lee asked himself while trying to get up despite the soreness of his muscles. The spandex wearing chunin looked around the tent to see most of those near him were either gaining rest from their own battles or trying to heal those who were hurt in battle.

"I'm in the infirmary aren't I? That's right, I must have gotten pretty beaten up by the Artist, but did I win or not?" Lee pondered to himself while trying to ignore the pain coating his body like a suit of clothes by grabbing a nearby set of crutches which he used to get himself outside. Upon exiting the tent he heard Shikamaru's screams of agony and immediately moved over to see what was the matter "What is going on here? Why is my youthful comrade making such agonizing noises?"

"He fought an Akatsuki chairman back in the caves of their headquarters. Quite frankly I'm surprised he's still alive after what that leopard punk did to his insides." The Kiri medic-nin explained Shikamaru's situation to Lee.

This visibly worried Lee who immediately tried to convince the medic-nin to let him into the operation tent, an action that got him restrained "Let me go! I have to see if Shikamaru is okay!" Lee cried as he attempted to shake off the men grabbing onto his arms and chest "It's a matter of upmost importance to me!"

"What's a matter of upmost importance is you getting your own rest. You were in the same boat as him not five hours ago, so if you don't want to get back on board then just trust the doctor!" The medic-nin as he and co-workers pulled Lee away from the tent and sent him down near the lake. After they'd calmed him down, a Kumo medic-nin irritably tossed him a bottle of clear liquid "Drink all this in you should heal a bit quicker. Not get some rest already!"

"Yes sir." Lee said with exhaustion before attempting to stand up again "It's so disappointing. I wonder what Gai-sensei and Naruto are doing right now. Hopefully their doing better than me and Shikamaru-san." Lee talked to himself while looking out at the vast body of water, while the rainstorm that had been engulfing the island in the past month continued to rage on harder and harder.

'Can I truly be called a splendid shinobi yet? I only managed to beat Deidara by the skin of my teeth, and even then I'm still behind Naruto, Gaara, and Neji. I'm not sure if I'll ever be on your level of greatness Gai-sensei.' Lee continued his internal conversation before noticing a familiar and somber looking face sitting at the lake shore nearby. Wanting to hold some level of conversation with someone else, the hot-blooded man ran over to them "Isaribi-san, do you have any idea what's been going on while I've been unconscious?"

"You men just don't know when to leave a girl to her own devices do you? Alright I'll tell you what you want to know."

"Wait!" Lee stopped her before cracking open the medicine bottle he was given by the medic-nin and preparing to slam it "I'm sorry, I forgot that it was recommended that I drink this medicinal syrup. Please continue Isaribi-san!"

"I passed out a little while after you fought that bird guy, but the general invasion obviously went rather well and we ended up taking out Kisame and Lucci in the process, but then they brought on this new guy called Cell to fight for them. I know that later Hinata killed that bastard Tucker, and some old lady from Suna captured Sasori. We haven't heard anything from Iwa or Kiri yet, but apparently most of our forces have been driven to the center of the island fighting Cell, and that includes that Naruto guy Kiba-kun was also so fond of. It's funny, even after I know his death has been avenged I still feel like shit whenever I think of him. Maybe it's because I'm carrying his child now, but-"

"Wait a minut! Didya sai somethun' aboow Naruto fighting some guy named Cell?" Lee asked, though he was clearly behaving much differently as a result of what he'd drank. He was now slurring most of his words, swinging around without the use of his crutches, and blushing more than a perverted old man in the middle of a strip club "What'sa Naruto doin fighten a sticka celery? Thoose thangs can't fought back!"

"I said he was fighting Cell, some new Akatsuki chairman. Are you alright weirdo?" Isaribi asked before Lee stood up screaming like a madman and ran off in the direction, tripping and rocking back and forth most of the way.

"NO WAY! NARUTO IS MY ETERNAL RIVAL AND I WON'T LET HIM LOSE TO A VEGETABLE OR A MICROORGANISM! WE WILL DUEL WITH YOUTH AND RAMEN TODAY!"

"What the hell is talking about?" Isaribi asked herself as she watched the intoxicated Lee trip and roll his way over the horizon, till her attention was brought to the medic-nin who gave Lee the medicine.

"Hey Bandage Girl, do you have any idea where that freak in the green spandex is?"

"He just ran off towards the Central Battlefield like he was drunk or something. What was in that medicinal syrup you gave him anyways?" Isaribi picked up the now empty bottle and it was most definitely not medicine of any kind "This isn't medicine at all! It's sake you dumbass!"

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I AM THE VERY MODEL OF A MODERN PLANETESIMAL!"

"That's a really bad sign." Isaribi groaned in frustration at watching Lee charge into the distance.

"I never expected to see a Jinchuriki come to lay their hand in battle against me." Konan glared down at her new opponent "In order for our plan to function I must bring you Pein-sama. I'm sorry, but you must die along with this village."

"That's no fun. You're really lame. Your entire Akatsuki is really lame you know." Fuu pouted as she armed her spear and got into a fighting stance against Konan "Now get rid of that dumb bomb or I'll beat the shit out of you lady!"

"...You don't seem to be grasping the situation you're in child. I'm afraid you're about to die by our hands." Konan said as she readied her assault on the Nanabi Jinchuriki from behind, letting several paper cards slip away from the back of her cloak and sneaking them by the Fuu before having them come back and attack her from behind.

"Paper Shuriken"

Fuu heard the buzzing of shuriken from behind her, and immediately defended with blade on the end of Chōmei. The blows were easily deflected, but to Fuu's surprise and annoyance the shuriken kept coming back as if they were alive. Eventually she was forced to the edge of the building where she lost her balance and fell from the top of building. Luckily for her, Fuu's wings spread out and allowed her to fly off the roof with little problem.

"That was just flat out rude! You should get to know someone before trying to kill them!" Fuu scolded the woman before releasing a cloud of incredibly bright powder from her mouth into Konan's face.

"Scale Powder"

Konan created wings of paper and flew away from the post she was standing before the cloud could impact her, but some of the shining dust still affected her vision. Fuu took the opportunity too attack Konan with Chōmei in midair only for the woman to avoid her blows with the use of Kenbunshoku Haki. She then countered with a strong blast of wind from the center of her palms which knocked Fuu back several feet.

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough"

"Oh shit!" Fuu cried as the gust pushed her away from Konan, causing her to crash-land onto a nearby roof. Upon seeing Konan had landed on the roof following after her, Fuu went back on the offensive with her spear while Konan either dodged the attacks with her Haki or blocked them with a slip of paper that came from her body.

Eventually Fuu had enough of this and tried to create a sneak attack by releasing a sudden flash of light from her eyes, temporarily blinding Konan. She then took the opportunity to stab Konan in the chest with Chōmei's bladed end, only to find that layers of paper were stopping the blow "Nice try, but your demon spear won't get through my iron paper shields." Before Fuu could find away out, Konan countered with an attack of her own.

"Rose Flytrap"

While talking down the Taki kunoichi for her mistake, Konan was making a trap around Fuu which quickly snapped shut into a paper rose, trapping her inside "Let me out of this origami lady! It doesn't even smell like a rose in here; it smells like soba!"

"I'm sorry but you're going to stay there until we get to Pein-sama and your biju is extracted. Look at it this way, your death will benefit a worthwhile cause of ridding this world of evil through the creation of our weapon." Konan said while trying move the rose shaped origami trap in a way a young child would hold a balloon. But before she could leave with Fuu in tow, the Nanabi jinchuriki had found a way to escape.

"Shining Blade"

Using the elemental properties of her demon weapon, Fuu peeled herself from her paper prison at the speed of light. She then flew away as fast her wings could take her "OWEE! OWEE! OWEE! OWEE! OWEE! OWEE! OWEE! OWEE! I hate having to swing Chōmei around when it's going so fast! It really smarts!" She whimpered in pain before she heard the beating of wings that weren't her own trailing behind her.

"You aren't getting away from me that easily #7!" Konan shouted to her target before unleashing another attack onto her.

"Leaflet Tailwind"

Konan did a midair flip in the air which sent a torrent of razor sharp pieces of paper flying in Fuu's direction, forcing her back on the offensive. In order to avoid getting shredded to pieces by the attack, Fuu enveloped her spear in light again and moved as fast the spear would allow her to go without tearing her body apart. Despite this she was still hit a few times and suffered cuts around her body.

'Fuu-chan, what are you doing? This crazy blue-haired lady is gonna kill you if you don't fight harder!'

"It's not exactly easy moving at the speed of light you know! I may an amazingly badass and sexy human, but I'm a human none the less!"

Once the blast of her Devil Fruit power had run its course, Konan quickly followed up her previous move by increasing her speed through the strengthened usage of her wings to give Fuu a hard head-butt to the solar plexus. After coughing up a bit of blood as a result of the attack, Fuu quickly found the strength to counter by releasing another beam of light from her mouth in the direction of Konan.

"Sparkle Cannon"

Konan was caught off guard for a brief moment, but was able to create a shield of paper from her hair, before kneeing Fuu in the stomach with a midair flip before following up with another painful attack of paper shuriken before hitting her once again with balls of water from her mouth. By the time the onslaught had been finished Fuu was looking very worse for wear with several scratches and bruises all over her body, and was coughing up several ounces of blood.

"Paper Shuriken"

"Water Release: Water Mass Bullet"

"Damnit, you're not going to beat me! I'm going to save this damn village and beat the shit of you." Fuu proclaimed, not letting her determination falter despite the pain she felt. Konan merely leered at the Jinchuriki while continuing to flap her giant paper wrings that kept her suspended in mid-air.

"I question why you even want to save this pathetic village, even after you heard everything it's done under the rule of the Sandaime and Yondaime Mizukage. Before we assassinated him, Kiri was second only to Marejois, Sabaody, and the Goa Kingdom in its savagery. Can't you see that we're fighting for the good of this world?" Konan tried to convince her opponent "And while I'm speaking, there's something else I noticed about your attacks. Your element is light, which unlike the Kazekage or Cinderface's elements of steel and sand have speeds that can't be physically controlled by man. So when you try to use your demon spear you can't control it, can you?"

'Shit, she figured it out!'

"Your body simply can't handle the incredible speed your demon weapon can dish out. So it runs the risk of tearing you apart if you try using it." Konan speculated the reasons behind this weakness "So tell me #7, am I wrong?"

"Shining Blade"

Konan's speculations concerning her opponent's power were swiftly halted when Fuu tried to attack her while the blade at the end of her spear glowed with blinding light. However the attack once again went without damaging Konan at all as she simply used her Kenbunshoku Haki to avoid the blow. Once Fuu was behind her Konan strangely didn't counterattack and simply turned around to face her with another glare of both irritation and confusion.

"I don't understand. It should be clear that you stand no chance against my power, yet you continue to fight me despite this. Why do you fight a battle you can't possibly win?"

"Because you Akatsuki-teme killed my friends. Roshi, Son Goku, Utakata, and Saiken. They're all dead because you decided their lives were meaningless compared to your stupid cause! I don't care how well intentioned it is, any cause that advocates for deaths of anyone is evil!" Fuu returned the woman's glare and shouted furiously at her "I thought you'd know what it's like to have your homes and lives taken away from you? You're that girl who was on the same team as Pein and Nagato right? You should know how terrible this all feels to us Jinchuriki! That's why I won't stop fighting! Because I will protect this island from any further turmoil!"

"Oh really? Well how can you do that when you can't even beat me? Unlike Pein-sama or Genocide, I'm nowhere near the level of the Eleven Titans of The Santatsu Foundation." Konan responded to her claims with a confident smile before letting her body dissolve into papers and form into what appeared to be thousands of paper cranes.

"Dance of the Shikigami"

"Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?" Obito asked the cloaked man with a smug grin on his scarred face. Despite this calm exterior, the Shogun of the Moon was inwardly furious 'I was this close to killing that masked bastard and then all of the sudden this freak shows up? Who the hell does he think he is?'

Ignoring the taunts of his former student, Minato set the defeated Kakashi down for a rest "You fought well Kakashi but there's nothing more you can do. Tobi is one of the strongest members of the Santatsu Foundation by far. I'm surprised you managed to last this long against him."

"Minato-sensei…that man is…" Kakashi tried to croak out through the incredible pain he felt in every cell of his body "And Itachi…didn't…kill…"

"I know Kakashi. I've been tracking the Santatsu's moves for almost 19 years now. I just wish I could have prevented Hizashi and Fugaku's deaths. But now isn't the time to dwell on ththe past I'm afraid, but to fight for the future." Minato took off his cloak and gave Obito a glare filled an amount of killing intent that would have killed a normal human "Never in my wildest dream would I have imagined you being apart of that group of murderers Obito. I'm so disappointed in you."

"Minato-sensei; you're still alive? You should have died in the Night of Kyuubi 18 years ago!" Obito vocally expressed his shock.

"I faked my own death so I could protect my sons and bring you Santatsu bastards down without having to deal with any political interference on Danzō's part." Minato explained while throwing off the cloak to reveal an ANBU uniform "I know everything to know about your organization. Including the fact that I'm much stronger than you."

At his former teacher's words, Obito simply burst out laughing "You stronger than me Minato? I admit you were powerful back in your hey day as the Yondaime Hokage, but now your just a washed up old man who lost everything for interfering with us. Whereas I've only gotten stronger since the day we last met. Only someone as powerful as a Marine Admiral could stand a chance against my raw power."

"It's interesting you would say something like that Obito. You do know how strong a Kage of Shinobi Island is considered to be right?" Minato said before releasing a white aura of Haoshoku Haki which nearly made Obito pass out, making him drop to his knees from the shock "We're considered to be on the same level as an Admiral or Fleet Admiral."

"What…the…DAMN YOU!" Obito cried in frustration before attempting to charge Minato with another barrage of Hardened Crash Waves, only to find that the Yondaime was easily dodging every single one of them with Kenbunshoku Haki. Not one of his blows even came close to hitting Minato "Hold still you piece of shit!"

"Wow, if this is all your capable of I clearly should have been teaching you better." Minato mocked his opponent before flashing away and attacking Obito from behind with a punch and kick.

"Hiraishin"

Obito moved into a crouched stance before trying to find his opponent with one eye, still panting like a dog from the pain of the previous blows. While he skimmed through the streets of Iwa with a kunai armed in his left hand, the Shogun racked his brain for any possibilities 'My Haki isn't fast enough to read his movements? How could this be!' Before Obito could ponder this any longer, Minato had landed his back before grabbing him by his hair and tossing him away.

He then proceeded to flash himself up to him again before hitting him square in the chest "You didn't think I'd been doing nothing while I was in the ANBU Black Ops did you? Nowadays I don't even need my homing kunai to teleport anymore!"

'Even after all these years, he's still so strong!' Obito thought as Minato's punch sent him flying, only for Minato to teleport behind him and attack with a spinning kick that sent him flying to the ground 'I can't keep up with his teleporting!'

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough"

To make matters even worse for Obito, Minato sent him even further into the ground with a strong blast of wind from his palms. All the while a recuperating Kakashi watched in awe "Minato-sensei is just toying with him. He's not even fazed by the fact that he's Obito." Ignoring the pain of the attack, Obito pryed himself from the crater and glared the Yondaime down.

"You bastard! I won't let you take away this chance to kill Kakashi after all these years of groveling towards the other Santatsu!"

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu"

Minato once again easily avoided the attack and transported in front of Obito, who was still crawling out of the hole he'd been pounded into ground "We always were sad that you never had a body to bury after the war. Guess we won't have to worry about that now."

"Sto acting so smug Minato!" Obito took his chance and delivered a shock wave powered slap into his opponent's face. However he quickly found that the attack had no effect due to Minato infusing his cheek with Busoshoku Haki before Obito's attack could come close to landing.

"Is that really all the power you can muster against me? Such a disappointment." Minato smiled at Obito, which only thinly veiled the killing intent that was still affecting the environment around their incredibly one sighted fight.

"No, this can't be. I'm the strongest!" Obito tried to rationalize the situation before leaping out of the hole and attacking another storm of Haki powered attacks "I refuse to have our Foundation fall to an old fart like you!"

"Hardened Crash Wave"

Minato once again used Haki to avoid Obito's blows before grabbing onto his arms and giving him another toothy grin. Afterwards, he pulled Obito down and gave him a painful Busoshoku Haki powered headbutt. Obito stumbled back, coughing up more blood and heaving from both exhaustion and frustration. In the meantime Minato had no scratch anywhere on his body.

"So this is all the mighty Santatsu Foundation's great power? If it weren't for all the terrible things you've done I'd almost feel sorry for you." Minato continued to taunt his severely outmatched opponent who continued to glare daggers at him "If this is the most you've got then I clearly didn't teach you well enough Obito."

Obito scowled at his former teacher with a face covered in blood before covering his hands with a familiar shockwave bubble and giving Minato an evil smile with cold, bloodthirsty eyes "You fool, the Santatsu Foundation is the ultimate power in this rotten world. Even the World Government itself bends to our will. Now you can see what it's power has done for me, and how I've surpassed you." The Shogun of the Moon then slammed the bubbles together, causing a screen of debris to cover the area.

"Blinding Crash"

"You won't get away with this! Our captain will make you pay for this!" Armando yelled empty threats as Zoro tied him and the rest of his gang up. The so-called fight between Zoro and the crew of the Black Eel Pirates six years ago only lasted for about sixteen seconds as Zoro blew them back with a new move he called Tatsu Maki.

"Does it really look like I give a damn about your Captain? I'll just kick his ass too you know?" Zoro scuffed his hands, preparing to drag off the pirates to the nearest Marine base and turn them in for their bounty. Afterwards he would check on his student who was practicing in a nearby river. However, the unofficial pirate Hunter quickly found he had more troubling things to worry about when three shadows covered him.

"Man Armando, you fools really screwed up. Here I was thinking you could pick up some money for us after you lost all treasure to those no name Firetank Pirates!" A large and rather simple looking man in a green tunic and white vest wearing a shaggy brown wig held up by a blank hit-te. This man was Gorilla Fist Kongo, the Chief of Staff of the Black Eel Pirates with a 5,000,000 beri bounty on his head.

Next to him was a woman with the appearance of a 12 year old girl wearing a very similar white wig with a pink tunic and pink lipstick. This woman was Perfume Brat Karenbana who had a 6,500,000 beri "Really pathetic you damn losers, that's the last time we'll let you handle a job. Because we're going to kill you! Characharacharacharachara!" Karenbana laughed her high pitched laugh.

"No please, let me explain! I was trying to mug some punks but then Roronoa Zoro-"

"We know, we know. Always excuses with you damn lackeys. But tell me, if you can't handle some upstart bounty hunter kid from the weakest sea in the world, then how do you expect to handle the Grand Line. It's better if you just die now." The captain of the Black Eel Pirates said as he approached with intent to strangle his failed subordinate. This man was Stone Grip Ishidate, a man with a red wig with a stereotypical pirate captain's uniform complete with a red tunic and bicorn with his crew's jolly roger sewn on. This man was the captan of the Black Eel Pirates and a man with a 15,000,000 beri bounty on his head.

However before Ishidate could make his attempt on Armando's life, Zoro blocked the way with one of his swords and gave the man a glare "Hold it, these guys are worth about three weeks of food. But then again, their captain is worth about two months of food. So I'll take you on if you feel like it."

"Heh, I'll make you eat those words trash. The three of us are much stronger than the riffraff of our foot crewmen you've been fighting." Ishidate glared at him in a gloat before facing his Chief of Staff with a command "Kongo, take care of the pirate hunter and grab those swords. We could probably make some good money off of at least one of them."

"You got it Captain, I'll make his death nice and bloody like you like." Kongo cracked his knuckles and menacingly walked towards the green haired swordsman. However before he could make a single move, Zoro had already unsheathed his swords and cut the man down with a three bladed strike.

"Oni Giri"

Within mere moments the behemoth of a man was down with massive cuts in his stomach and chest. While Ishidate showed very little reaction to the defeat of his subordinate, Karenbara was visibly enraged and attacked from the air "Damn you, green haired bastard!"

"Tatsu Maki"

Zoro saw the attack coming from a mile away and blew Karenbana back with all three of his swords in a circular motion, cutting into the pirate and knocking her out instantly. Despite almost all of his crew being wiped out by the Pirate Hunter, Ishidate didn't seemed gazed at all. The captain merely grinned and tightened his hands in to a fist "I hope you weren't expecting me to be on par with those weaklings Roronoa. My grip can crush iron, which is probably much more than I can say for your puny swords."

"If anything's puny around here it's your crew. The infamous Black Eel Pirates turned out to be pathetic scum that's not even worth beating." Zoro mocked Ishidate before the pirate captain lunged at Zoro with his infamous iron grip. However before he knew what was happening, Zoro had already sliced into him and dropped him like a sack of potatoes on the cold hard ground.

"Tora Gari"

"For such tough guy you sure did go down easily to an upstart bounty hunter from the weakest sea." Zoro continued to make fun of his defeated opponent while he pulled out another cut of rope to tie up the remainder of the Black Eel Pirates "And for the record, I'm not a bounty hunter at all. It's just a way I make ends meet."

'I can't believe it. We've been beaten by a kid?'

"Captain Ishidate." Armando weakly groaned to get Ishidate's attention from his binds, despite the fact the cuts and bruises Zoro had given him had almost completely sealed his mouth shut "There's another one of these punks. Zoro had this gaki with him that went into the woods nearby. If you can get to him maybe you can take both of them out."

Hearing this information, Ishidate felt an evil grin spread across his face. Glaring at Zoro one more time as he tied up Karenbana and Kongo, Ishidate ignored the cuts in his body to sneak away into the woods nearby. After he finished tying up the officers, Zoro turned back to Ishidate to do the same to him "Alright, let's take care of-Aw great, he got away."

Back in the present, Yahiko was using his Haki to track the path of Cell's Biju Ball, right up to the point where it made contact with Kumogakure's Capital Building. With a smile on their face, Preta Path made their announcement to the remainder of the Allied Forces "It appears your attack met it's mark Cell. The Kumongakure Capital Building has been destroyed, along with a part of Kumo and everyone in the building. In short, all Five Kage, the Captains of the Konoha Gotei 13 Division and 6, the Lieutenant of Division 8, the Hokage's Advisors, and the Chairman of Konoha's Civilian Council are all dead."

"It fired such a powerful attack and it landed so far away? How on earth will we be able to stop this thing?"

"He's too strong!"

"We're all going to die!"

Several members of the Allied Forces began to panic when they realized their leaders had been taken out, while others had very different reactions. Upon hearing their loved ones had been killed in the resulting explosion of Cell's explosion, Ino and Matsuri both dropped to their knees in a nervous breakdown. However several others reacted with pure unadulterated rage towards the Jubi Jinchuriki, such as Kurotsuchi who charged Cell in an attempt to avenge her grandfather.

"Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears"

Cell easily avoided the attack with his own Haki before firing another attack from his fingertips which sent the girl flying, only to have to deal with another attack from Darui. However Cell still saw this coming and delivered a strong fist into the swordsman's solar plexus. All the while the morale of the Allied Forces continued to weaken as Cell effortlessly fought off his attackers. Two Konoha shinobi in particular were discussing this turn of events away from the rest of the group.

"This freak in the bug armor is tearing us apart. We're all going to die here!"

"What I don't get is why we're even fighting these guys. They're clearly a lot stronger than us, and we're just protecting some stupid demons. We should just give them to that orange haired guy on the throne so they'll stop attacking."

"Yeah, it's just what demon scum like them deserve. Besides the only one who can even fight right now is the Kyuubi brat, and he's the most despicable of them all!"

"So all we have to do is get up to the orange haired bastard up there, and try to bargain with them for the demons!"

While the two shinobi planned their negotiation with Pein, several others continued trying to fight Cell with very little results as he would either dodge their attacks using Kenbonshoku Haki or simply tank them using his incredibly high healing factor. After their attack failed he would either smack them away or kill them with a blast to a vital organ. Currently Kurenai was attempting to take out the Akatsuki chairman in her Hybrid Zoan form while coating her black furred fists with Busoshoku Haki.

"Genjutsu: Panter Frenzy"

Kurenai disguised her movement with a genjutsu, giving her attack the appearance of multiple claws coming towards him at extreme speeds. Because of this confusing attack, Cell couldn't even tell the fake claws from the real ones with his Kenbunshoku Haki allowing Kutenai to get a few scratches in before he managed to grab her real arms and separate them "You Shinobi officers are really getting on my nerves!" Cell proceeded to knee Kurenai in the gut, knocking her several feet back and causing her to cough up blood.

"Dynamic Entry"

Cell was distracted from his very brief victory when Gai flew in from seemingly nowhere and gave him a hard kick to the face. After away wiping the violet blood pouring from his mouth the Jubi Jinchuriki glared at the bizarre jounin "Great, you again. Are you going to run 7000 laps around the battlefield to get your flames of youth burning? Or maybe a million jumping jacks?"

"Not a bad idea Cell, but I have something else in store for you. You attacked and killed our Hokage, whom it is my duty as a leaf shinobi to protect. As as result you shall feel the full power of my flames of youth!" Gai said before he suddenly started to turn different colors and ground around him began to tear apart from the chakra being emitted.

"Kaimon"

As Gai's power surged more and more, his skin turned a blueish green and his eyes went completely white. To those who participated in the last chunin exams this was a familiar sight as it been seen in the preliminaries of those exams 'The Seventh Gate? Bushy Brows used this against Gaara back in the exams! But Gai-senpai doesn't have a Devil Fruit power that can help him take the brunt of the attack like Lee does.'

"You alright there Gai? Looking a bit green! Don't worry though, Dr. Cell is prescribing you a dose of youkai!" Cell pointed two fingers towards the fired up jounin and fired another beam of energy from the tips of his pale fingers.

"Galick Gun"

"Leaf Hurricane"

When the dust cleared from Cell's attack, Gai was nowhere to be seen; the smug Jinchuriki simply thought this meant that he'd been atomized but he was almost immediately proved wrong when Gai flashed from behind and delivered powerful kick to his head. Before anyone on the battlefield could even blink, Cell had his head knocked as far away as possible by the attack, leaving his decapitated body vulnerable to an even stronger attack by the Division 11 Captain. Gai got back into a fighting stance and prepared an insanely strong punch, as the aura of a roaring tiger formed around him.

"Daytime Tiger"

Once the fist had dug itself into the back of Cell's body, it took less than a second for it to suddenly explode causing his remains to rain all over the Central Battlefield before Gai collapsed to his knees. After a brief pause of silence, a roaring applause broke out amongst the Allied Forces as they celebrated the apparent defeat of the being that had been decimating their forces for the past several hours. However several were still suspicious as to whether this really finished the job.

'After all that trouble and all that teme was able to take, is that really it? I'm not sure I buy it.' Anko glared at the small piece of Cell lying on the ground before her as she pondered the end of this battle. Her thoughts were quickly proven right when Cell somehow regrew himself from the piece before her and tried to attack.

"Strong Fist"

"Hidden Shadow Snake Hands"

Anko used her Haki and her own specialized style of taijutsu to avoid Cell's attack, before sending a horde of snakes out from the sleeves of her trench coat which bit into Cell causing several poisonous wounds. He ripped off the snakes revealing them to be nothing more than an affect of the jutsu, before trying to hit her again. Anko blocked the attack with equal physical strength causing a brief taijutsu skirmish between her and Cell. The latter ended it when he grabbed onto his opponent with his tail in attempt to strangle her.

"Kneecap Grenade"

The kunoichi was saved a bomb came from nowhere and exploded in Cell's face causing him to drop Anko on the ground and look around for the source of the attack "Who the hell did that to me? I'll blow their head off!" Cell quickly found that he had to deal with a different threat when a group of Division 3 shinobi charged him in a group. A group that was led by Ryo Kobayashi.

"Stay away from our captain you monster!" Ryo cried as he and his platoon charged Cell, only to be met with limited results as he easily dispatched all of them, ending with Cell shoving his and through the man's chest. However this strangely failed to do anything as Ryo's body turned into styrofoam in the area around the whole "Surprised? I ate the Styro-Styro Fruit so now I'm a Styrofoam man!"

"Iron Packing"

Ryo tried to breath a wave of iron hard styrofoam packing peanuts into Cell's face, only for the Jubi Jinchuriki to coat his head with Haki and defend against the attack before easily tossing the veteran away. After he had finished with that, Cell proceeded to begin firing on the battlefield again, producing more casualties than before. All the while those who were strong enough to survive the onslaught watched in horror.

"Damnit, we need to get to Pein. But how can we do that with this guy stopping our every move?" Shine pondered as he ran low on stamina from the seemingly everlasting battle against Cell. However something happened in a few moments that changed the way the battle was fought.

"Hey Mikan Hair! That's right I'm talking to you!" One of the leaf shinobi from earlier spoke to Pein from his throne atop the Shinju.

Interested in what this man had to say, Pein sent down Deva Path down to speak with him. Once she had gotten close enough, the red haired corpse spoke "What is it? Are you trying to challenge me ahead of time. Defeating Cell is required for that."

"You want to kill those demon freaks right? If we hand the rest of them over to you, you'll call off this lunatic in the bug suit right?" The other asked next to his friend.

"Well, it's not armor; he just naturally looks like that." Deva Path explained Cell's strange appearance before continuing the negotiation "But yes, if the Jinchuriki are captured and their Biju extracted then we shall have no more business here. Me and the remaining chairman will move to the Grand Line for the next phase of our operation."

"Wait so if we give those Jinchuriki up we can make it out alive." A suna-nin nearby came to this realization while those negotiating with Pein tried to state their case.

"You know we should give up those demons! There nothing but blights on our villages and if they never existed then we wouldn't even be fighting this battle!"

"They deserve to die for their sins! They pretend they're humans but who knows what they're evil minds are thinking? They probably planned all this from the beginning!"

"The only way we can survive is by killing these monsters!"

It was at this point several shinobi from Suna, Kiri, and Konoha glared at the three remaining Jinchuriki in the area and began drawing their weapons. After only a few moments of thought several shinobi had begun to charge in an attempt to capture them, which proved to be a problem as Naruto was currently the only one still capable of fighting. Unsheathing all three of his swords, Naruto fought back against the horde of traitors with great finesse in his swordsmanship.

"You think we're just gonna roll over and die? Then you've got another thing coming?

"Foam Axe"

Naruto saw that several of his comrades and allies from Konoha and the other villages alike had also taken up arms to protect the Jinchuriki against those who decided to surrender and capture them. Those who had decided were confused by this course of action and were enraged at the idea they protect the Jinchuriki "Why are you protecting them you fool? Everything that's been happening in the past month has been their fault!"

"Because the Akatsuki killed my teammate. I won't let them have their way." Shino said with a glare as he took out more enemies with his Devil Fruit power, before noticing more troops had submitted to the Akatsuki than originally thought. As they had literally cleared a path for Cell right to Naruto.

"So you're stepping up to me now Cell? Good, I've been wanting to kick your ass since the moment you walked in front of me." Naruto said clearly more furious than he'd been for quite some time.

"Oh please you big dobe, you thinking you're a match for me? Last time I check your grades had you ranked as the Dead Last of your class. It's a miracle you even made it this far! You're no Akatsuki, you're no Yonkou, and you're certainly no Uchiha! You're just a classless orphan." Cell mocked Naruto as he got closer and closer.

"Yeah? Well you know what? Fuck the Academy Rankings! Fuck the Akatsuki! FUCK THE UCHIHA CLAN! AND FUCK YOU!"

"Hyakuhachi Pound Ho"

"That's adorab-SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!"Cell cried in pain as Naruto's blast blew him back.

After making sure Cell had been temporarily disabled by the blow, Naruto faced those who were trying to subdue him "Hey shitstains! Get blown up or get hell out of here! I don't care which!"

"o-Ok"

"Upstart whiskered bitch"

"Hyakuhachi Pound Ho"

"STOP! STOP IT! ANGRY!"

"Hyakuhachi Pound Ho"

"ARE YOU DONE? CAUSE I'M GETTING OVER THERE AND I'M SUPER-"

"Hyakuhachi Pound Ho"

"That's weird, I can still move." Naruto panted heavily from the amount of energy he'd just released, only to collapse onto the ground "Yeah there it is."

To make matters even worse for the blonde swordsman, Cell had already completely healed from his attacks and was walking towards him with his tail wide open "If you want my personal opinion, Hyakuhachi Pound Ho is a pretty poor choice for a last word. But even so, it's far from the worst decision you've made today!" Cell approached the Kyuubi Jinchuriki, serenaded by the cheers of those who wanted to surrender.

"Hyakuhachi Pound Go fuck yourself." Naruto groaned in frustration.

"That's the spirit." Cell prepared to absorb the Jinchuriki, only for it to explode into a puff of smoke "What? It was just a Kage Bushin? Then where's the real one?"

Back in Kirigakure, Fuu had been forced into hiding by her opponent's newest attack, and had taken shelter inside an abandoned building "How strong is this chick anyways. I haven't even been able to cut through her Devil Fruit power. And to top it off I'm not even sure if she's a Logia or a Paramecia. How am I going to fight when my weapon only ends up hurting me instead of my opponent?" Fuu whispered to herself in the darkness, before noticing another paper crane floating around nearby.

When she saw the work of origami, Fuu's face twisted into a horrified grimace and she tried to sneak out of the room before she could do anything to trigger the jutsu that came with it. However the sound of her movements still managed to reach the paper crane, causing it to release a massive explosion. Fuu extended her wings and flew out the broken window before she could be caught in the blast, only to be met with an entire flock of the explosive sculptures of paper.

"Are you kidding me? How many of these things can she make?" Fuu loudly questioned in frustration before attempting to fly as fast as she possibly could away from the dangerous attack. However the Taki Kunoichi found that the faster she flew, the more they accelerated the rate of their own flight "This sucks, these things are too persistent!"

'Why aren't you using your Jinchuriki form Fuu-chan? You could use me to your full potential if you did that!'

'That's easier said than done. I need to eat a lot of light to get myself up to that level but I don't have enough of it out here. There's just to much overcast. But maybe if I...' Fuu came with a strategy to combat Konan more efficiently and began to fly up into the air at high altitudes 'If I can move past those clouds, then maybe I can find some light to eat.'

While Fuu made her attempt to scale up the sky, Konan observed her careful observation of her from a distance "So she's going to try and get her element from past those clouds. I shouldn't even have to accelerate the fluttering of my crane's wings if she keeps that up. The change in conditions when she gains more altitude should take care of that." Konan's observations proved to be correct as Fuu's body couldn't handle the difference in atmospheric pressure as she got higher up.

As a result her speed began to slow while her origami pursuers didn't slow at all, causing her to hit by their detonative properties long before she reached the clouds. Suspecting that this would be outcome beforehand, Konan moved to the area where she had predicted Fuu would land and prepared to finish her off. When the Nanabi Jinchuriki was in reach Konan prepared to finish her off with a hit to the back.

"Paper Cut Claws"

When Fuu landed after getting blown up by her opponent's paper cranes, she found herself impaled on a set of razor sharp claws Konan had formed around her right hand. She began to cough up even more blood, before she lost consciousness from the pain. The Akatsuki chairwoman then proceeded to drop her defeated opponent on the ground before draping her over her shoulder "Well I suppose that's all finished. I should get to Yahiko-kun quickly so we can move on to the next part of the plan."

Konan didn't notice at the time, but Fuu had regained some level of consciousness and was just barely managing to cling on. Examining her incredibly blurry surrounding while remaining hung over Konan's shoulder Fuu began to lose herself in her self-loathing thoughts 'Why am I so weak? Chouji-kun, Shika-kun, and B-kun all beat the Akatsuki with no problem at all. But I have to rely on my Biju to get anywhere. I'm pathetic. They were right about me, weren't they Shibuki-senpai?'

"Shibuki-senpai, why do all the other villagers hate me so much? Chōmei is really nice, so why do they not like me because of him?"

"Because they can only see one thing, and think that one thing will solve all their problems. They seem to think hating you is their solution. But there's more than one solution to almost every problem; you just need to think outside the box a bit to figure out that problem."

After this bit of internal reminiscing, Fuu came to an important conclusion 'That's it! I've only been focusing on the solution of my spear and Jinchuriki form the entire time. I shouldn't be thinking about how to suddenly make myself stronger right now. What I should be thinking about is how to make her weaker! Think, what will make her Devil Fruit weaker...That's it!'

"Scale Powder"

Before she could make her way out of Kiri, Fuu released the same shiny powder to blind Konan once again. And this time she couldn't use her Haki to avoid the attack, as not only was Fuu right on her body, but she also suspected her to be unconscious so she wouldn't be directing her attentions to her. This gave Fuu the opportunity to fly away in the direction of the nearby ports "Catch me if you can, you stupid Akatsuki bitch!"

"How many times do I have to beat you #7?" Konan yelled in frustration before transforming her arms into large paper wings and following after Fuu in hot pursuit. Within just a few moments of the chase both were caught in a raging seaside storm that had formed near the shore of Kiri "So you're trying to get me swept out at sea with my Devi Fruit power? I'm afraid that won't work nearly as well as you were hoping!"

"Paper Chakram"

"Shining Blade"

Once again the same cycle of their battle had been repeating itself, with Konan going on the offensive with her Note-Note Fruit while Fuu was forced to defend with an inherent Jinchuriki element. This time though, the pattern quickly broke when Fuu tore through the chakram with little to no trouble. The sudden change in her opponent's strength greatly shocked Konan 'How did she break through my paper charm so easily? Wait, is she using the rain to soften my paper?' Konan's attentions drew to her wings, which were quickly logging up as the rain began to pour harder.

To make matters worse for the Akatsuki chairwoman, Fuu only appeared to be minimally affected by the rain and charged forward with Chōmei ready to go. Growing more desperate avoid defeat at the Nanabi Jinchuriki's hand, Konan tried to form layers of a paper shield to block her spear. This proved to be pointless as Fuu was easily capable of slicing through the soggy sheets of paper, allowing her to get close to Konan. In one finishing move Fuu twisted around with her demon spear glowing with light, swinging it right into the weakened Konan.

"Shining Blade: Beetle Halo"

With her body and wings cut, Konan lost her capability of flight and fell right into the sea. This wouldn't be a problem for an ordinary human, but she was a Devil Fruit user and began to sink like a hammer in the water, completely frozen by the energy of the sea itself 'No! This can't be how it ends! We were going to get revenge on the Santatsu for what they'd done! Nagato, Yahiko, please forgive me.' The last thing Konan saw before she blacked out was a dark skinned reaching out for her from above the water.

She woke up about half an hour later on the docks of Kirigakure, with a slightly damp looking Fuu nearby "Sorry about knocking you in the water back there. I forgot you'd sink like a rock in the water if you ate a Devil Fruit. I defused the lacrima bomb by the way, so we shouldn't have to worry about that anymore."

"Y-you saved me Fuu? But why would you do something like that? We're enemies." Konan asked, shocked by the peculiar actions of her opponent.

"Because you reminded me of something today Konan-chan: that I've just gotta keep getting stronger no matter what. If it weren't for that storm over there, you totally would've creamed me in our fight; it's obvious you're way stronger than me. But that's what makes you so cool!" Fuu said as she looked past the horizon of the South Blue, before facing Konan with her hand extended "So let's be friends, okay?"

Konan gasped at her offer, before closing her eyes and letting herself stay at peace "I surrender."

"Blinding Crash"

Obito hit two Crash Waves together, which caused a shock wave large enough to kick up quite a bit of debris that masked the battlefield from Minato's eyes. Despite this handicap, Minato still seemed very disinterested and overtly relaxed "Well this is a pain, wonder what that idiot's going to do now?" Behind Minato, Obito came out of a Kamui portal with both of his hands still coated in the shockwaves. He lunged forward in an attempt to crush Minato's head, only for his former sensei to duck at just the right moment and grab onto his forearms, before slamming him into the ground and kicking him away.

"How can he not have any sort of Kekkei Genkai or Devil Fruit power? He can't be any sort of normal human!" Obito growled in pure frustration before trying to scorch his former sensei with black flames generated from nothing but his own vision.

"Amaterasu"

Minato easily avoided all of the flames with his Hiraishin technique, before getting close enough to Obito to start beating him senseless with taijutsu. All the while Kakashi watched in awe

"Amazing, he's not even using any ninjutsu or genjutsu. It's just taijutsu and the Hiraishin. I can't believe that even after all this time he's still so strong!" The previously masked jounin's attentions were drawn elsewhere when he heard approaching footsteps.

"Kakashi-san, what's going on? What happened to the Santatsu Shogun?" Itachi asked as he approached, having only just regained consciousness and dug himself from the wall.

"It would take quite a bit of explanation. Let's just say he's being taken care of right over there." Kakashi pointed towards the incredibly one sided battle nearby between Minato and the unmasked Obito. However Itachi didn't care so much of Obito finally being unmasked as he did the supposedly dead Yondaime Hokage being alive and in great fighting condition.

"YONDAIME-SAMA? WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?"

"Once again, that would take quite a large explanation."

Obito continued to get the tar beaten out of him by the much stronger Minato, not being allowed to get a single hit on the Yondaime. Both his Devil Fruit power and his Mangekyo Sharingan proved to be practically against Minato's superior skill.

Within minutes, this proved to be to much for Obito's already fragile psyche to handle, causing to temporarily blow the man back "Enough! You think you can push me around like this you old sot! I am a Santatsu, the-" Minato didn't give Obito time to finish his speech before sweeping his legs out from under him, grabbing onto one of them and beating him around the ground.

"I believe this lesson should be over now my dear student. Ja ne." Minato laxly said before walking away from the seemingly defeated Obito. However despite being beaten and broken as a result of the fight, Obito was still capable of fighting. With his one Mangekyo Sharingan still flaring, he allowed himself to flare with purple chakra which consumed him and formed into a skeletal form.

"Susanoo"

Using his Kenbunshoku Haki to predict an incoming attack, Minato dodged the large chakra fist of the figure to see a half insane Obito laughing his ass off with blood dripping from his single eye "I'm impressed that even in your old age you were still capable of forcing me to this extreme Minato! This is the strongest capability of the Mangekyo Sharingan! Now that it's been activated, you stand no-"

"Hiraishin"

"Rasengan"

Obito didn't have time to finish his sentence before Minato teleported before him in a flash of bright yellow light, before shoving a ball of spinning chakra into his stomach and launched his body from the ground. The force of this attack sent the former Akatsuki chairman flying into the air, disappearing with a twinkle in the sky. After he was sure that Obito wasn't going to be coming back, Minato turned to face the other men.

"Well that's over with. You're with the Akatsuki Itachi, so I'm afraid we'll have to take you into custody." Minato informed them, only to realize that Itachi was nowhere to be seen "Where'd Itachi go?

"He ran off when I got a call on my Transponder Snail about your sons. Apparently Naruto and Yahiko are engaged in battle at the moment."

"What? It was just a Kage Bushin? Then where's the real one?" Cell looked around the Central Battlefield desperately in attempt to find his target, and found him running to a different location with Han in tow "What is he planning?"

Farther away from Cell, Naruto had already sprung his plan into action and prepared to finish it off with Han's assistance. After finding a place to set the Gobi Jinchuriki down, Naruto asked him "So do you think you can get me up there to Yahiko? I've really been itching to kick that guy's ass. I won't forgive that bastard for killing Jiisama and Gaara."

"You and me both Cinderface, but unlike you I took the brunt of the attack so I'm going to need to take in some more energy before I can do anything. Keep in mind we've only got one shot to do this. If we screw this up, then it's all over." Han explained to the swordsman before breathing in and eating a large amount of air, before Naruto flipped up.

"Wind Shot"

Using the last of his energy, Han released a gust of wind at Naruto's feet sending him flying towards the Shinju. It no longer took a rocket scientist for Cell to figure out what their goal was "Now that's just cute Naruto-chan. But not nearly cute enough for me to spare you." Cell pointed his finger at the airborne Naruto with intent to fire, only to receive another bomb to face, allowing Naruto to land on Shinju and face all seven Peins.

"Kneecap Grenade"

"You let your guard down you ugly green bastard. Now you've got to deal with me and my power." The source of the explosions revealed itself to be Iruka, who was now wielding a prosthetic leg with a hidden cannon inside.

"What are you doing here you idiot? You're retired you idiot!" Anko angrily scolded her husband for his actions.

"Sorry Anko-chan, but a friend of Naruto's fixed up a new leg for me and I decided to take it for a test run." Iruka sheepishly explained his reasoning to his wife.

Anko walked over in response and gave Iruka a hit on the head "Honestly you don't know you're own limits. Guess this means I'll have to fight this lunatic with you."

"Ok, you know what? I have absolutely had it with these idiots getting in my way!" Cell prepared to go all out onto Iruka and Anko, before he got a very painful slap across the face from a powerful force.

"Stellar Flare"

"Great, now what is it!" Cell whined like a child at being stopped and beaten once again before coming face to face with four out of the Five Kage, plus a very fired up looking Maglako.

"Hokage-sama!"

"Tsuchikage-sama!"

"Mizukage-sama!"

"Raikage-sama!"

"Wild is the wind baby. Bet you weren't expecting to see us." Maglako asked smugly as he twirled his mustache "And just because I know you're going to ask, Kazekage-sama's right over there."

Sarutobi, who was now in full battle armor, looked upon the sleeping Gaara with respect 'What a strong young man. Even with Shikaku's shadow taking some of the blow, I'm surprised that he's still alive.'

"I don't know how you managed to survive that Biju Ball Sarutobi. But needless to say I have insurance to get my revenge on you." Animal Path said before forming a summoning circle on top of Shinju that caused an army of human chimera to appear on the Central Battlefield.

"What the hell are those things?"

"First Cell now this!"

"Hey, Old Man. Can we do anything now?" A deep voice came from nearby the Kage.

"If you can help our armies stop those chimera, that would be nice."

"Alright! That's just what I wanted to hear you geezer!" The voice of a pervert made itself known before a laser similar to the ones used in Pacifista was fired into advancing horde of chimera.

"Radical Beam"

"Did one of the Kage just shoot a beam?" Chouji asked before turning to the source of the laser and seeing something so surprising that his jaw dropped to the ground. Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, Nico Robin, and Franky were standing together prepared to battle the Akatsuki's forces "No way! What are the Straw Hat Pirates doing all the way in the South Blue?"

"Excuse me Zoro-san. How exactly did you get us here on such short notice?" Robin asked the green-haired swordsman.

"I'll have to explain later. Let's just say the Old Man called me up."

While Zoro and Robin had this chat, Usopp noticed the strange features concerning their opponents "We have to fight those freaky things? I hope you've got a plan Zoro!"

"I do. We slice them all to pieces!"

"THAT'S NOT A PLAN AT ALL!"

As a result of Usopp's frustrated screaming, Naruto's attentions were brought from Yahiko to what was happening below them "Just like Niisan to show up when you least expect it."

"Are you referring to me or the Pirate Hunter?" Pein asked as he stood up from his throne and glared intensely at his younger brother "Fine then, I'll do it myself!"

Omake:

On an island somewhere else in the else in the South Blue, a beauty pageant was being held. One woman was about to be crowned the winner by the judge "And Miss Teliano Island is-" Before he could finish his sentence, Obito came crashing through the roof and fell in front of the judge, causing him to be crowned instead.

"What? Oh I'm honored!…And at the same time humiliated. So thank you and curse you!"

Akatsuki Chairman Remaining:
