I'm baaack! I know, that was a long wait (well, under 3 months I think). Life has gotten so busy, still is, but I decided to write today since I've got spare time.
Enjoy~
The young Slytherin walked off the cargo and blended into the crowds. His onyx scanned the environment and-
"Severus," A gentle hand rested on the boy's shoulder, "How's the ride?"
The boy glanced up, "Long," He huffed, "I prefer an accelerating speed, Javier." His eyebrow raised at the man.
The professor grinned, "I couldn't agree more. Are you ready?"
He nodded. Javier grinned until someone joined behind him. His arms snaked around the professor and rested his chin onto Kin's shoulder. To expose the long blond hair drifting onto him slowly and caused the grin into deadpanned upon the time traveler.
"I have dinner arranged for us and desserts as well. They should take your things into your room, Severus." Lucius hummed delightfully.
However, the young Slytherin wasn't a fool with a look on his guardian. Something had happened and he missed it. Severus hadn't grasped a thing, considering Javier jerked away from the older Slytherin and ignored him. The emerald eyes fixated onto him and not both of them. Lucius' shoulders dropped and frowned at his lover. This was becoming difficult for him to have an equal level in their relationship. Why did Alexander had to speak something so righteously?
"Come on, Severus. We shouldn't late." He smiled at the boy, trying to ignore the situation.
While the rest of the wizarding population has disappeared, they weren't around to several people. Lucius held in his breath.
"I'm trying to talk to you as well, Kin," He withheld his anger, "I made one mistake and you're upset over it!" He hissed softly.
Severus winced and gulped. He didn't dare to move and watched what would become of them. Should he run for his life? Javier straightened his back and glared at the young man.
"I've made it perfectly clear to say no and you showed me no respect in the matter." Kin jerked his head, demanding him to drop the conversation.
Malfoy marched straight to him and held his upper arm, "While you made it clear, but you never opened up. How are we supposed to sort this properly? I expect that we would discuss, but you leave me no chances." He scowled.
Javier didn't know whether if he could hold his magic together, "You were never there from the start, why should I bother?" He gulped with greater difficulties, "Now release me or you'll be just like them." He sneered.
The second year Slytherin wondered what had happened from whatever it took place. Their conversation did not hint specifically, but somehow Lucius was involved. Javier was strongly against talking about 'it' and managed well to avoid elaborating. Lucius wasn't about to give up, much like a true Slytherin and that's what sparks the young man to follow through. He pulled Javier closely to his chest.
"You are my lover, understand that?" His pale blue eyes narrowed and pierced onto the emerald ones, "There is one thing you forget is that you witnessed my vulnerable state and so have I for yours. Neither of us took advantage of each other during those states when others would have." Slowly loosen the grip, "I care enough to do something to make you feel safe and loved as you do, Javier. Despite the way you disliked we are dating, but you still care enough in a favor and that is something most would have had escaped from." His hand dropped from holding, "I don't know why, but you had a reason and I suggest you continue to do so."
The professor stared at him and heard each word that escaped Malfoy's lips. The way it calmed the young man, it made him realize that Erasmas wouldn't have treated him this way.
"Tonight…still not forgiven, though. Not yet," He softly bitten his tongue.
A soft smile upon the veela, "That is all I ask."
The second year student hadn't understood a thing and found it puzzling. Once they looked at him, he still kept that puzzling look and they knew it wasn't a proper way to go about it.
"I'll tell you about it when you're older, Severus," Javier sheepishly grinned, "I promise."
Somehow, he knew it wasn't a lie, "Alright." Unable to do a thing about it, "…are we still going?" He glanced at the adults, curious if their holidays can begin much sooner.
Javier nodded, "Yes." Realizing his behavior was rather unusual and not certain how the boy would behaves afterward.
Lucius smiled, "Then hold onto the ticket and we will arrive." The man pulled out a silver ticket as others did as he instructed.
A yanking from the navel, spinning like crazy, and everything turned into a quick gravity forced. The young boy quickly gathered himself onto his feet and balanced himself before he could fall. However, his guardian was dropping flat onto his back and grunted in pain. Somehow, Javier did not know how to move-
"Javier!" The blond rushed to him as he air walking over to his lover, "Are you alright?"
The time traveler blinked, feeling the young man's hands on his arms, and he jerked away.
"I am. I hadn't mastered the stupid portkey traveling." He huffed and pulled himself back onto his feet.
Lucius jerked his head back and stared at his lover. It was another side that he hasn't quite seen before and he wondered if this was normal. Perhaps he truly did set the fear going, but he didn't know what else to do. Severus eyed the couples and found his things. He decided to unpack while the men did whatever they needed to do.
"No thank you could be sufficed enough, Javier," Malfoy softly muttered, glanced away miserably.
Kin glared and huffed, "Don't push it," His teeth gritted, "Malfoy. It has been a long night and I'm hungry."
The blond tilted his head to look at his lover, "You hadn't eaten at all today?"
"Only breakfast," He muttered quietly, "Can we head out?"
Lucius was about to insist to change clothes, but his brothers whispered 'no' immediately. He didn't move from where he stood, unable to continue what he would have done.
'Lead the way. You are not out of the house elf's situation. Allow him to focus on dinner and his child, especially when they need it the most.' Phoenix softly stated.
Lucius held his breath and walked as he exhaled to the door. He smiled and gestured the way. Severus noticed they were already leaving and hadn't even changed into proper attire. He took off his school robe and waited for his guardian to participate willingly. The time traveler was surprised he wasn't be treated on demand to eat more or whatever else nonsense he would end up hearing. It pained the savior that he treated Lucius this way, after someone realizing their mistake…but…the thoughts, he just couldn't. The professor was not ready to think of the damage of that particular night and interact like a pair of normal wizard couples.
The time traveler crossed his arms and smiled at the boy. Severus nodded and followed out to the hallways. Lucius secured their room with his wand and catches up with his lover and friend. Somehow, he had to thank his brothers being there for him…despite the fact it was forced arrangement.
...
The sleeping child was carried by Javier and he placed the boy into the bed next to the 'couple' bedroom. He laid him down and tucked him in magically. The dark hair covered the child's face and naturally, Kin moved it away. A pain that he knew who this boy would come out to be and somehow, wondered what will become of them. In a way, he hoped he could repair their relationship or begin from whatever it was left off from. Somehow, it felt forever to reach to that point and he hadn't been certain when.
The emerald eyes glanced at the door and sighed. It was not something he was looking forward and he was truly tired, exhausted, and emotionally stressed. Why can't Lucius wait for the right time? Javier stood up and walked out the room quietly.
"Javier," He whispered, "I don't want to hurt you and I never will." Almost missing everything he said, but managed well.
The savior straightened his back and pulled his wand out to cast the usual silencio spell, "Then you should had stopped." Javier placed his wand into his pocket.
From looking up, Lucius was sitting on the bed, patting to the bed, and the look that could almost make the savior guilty. Somehow, he didn't know what he would do, if this looks would be used often. This was not fair to Javier! His eyes shifted over, trying to ignore the manipulative Slytherin.
"Not once had you told me what happened, my love," Lucius picked up his head, "You set all your time comforting me, but I never did for you. Why?" Shaking his head.
Because I know exactly what you're going through, Lucius…I'm a time traveler for a reason. Sorry, can't tell you…
What Javier wanted to say, but unable to do so. However, there were perfectly good excuses to use. His arms crossed and stared at the door.
"Severus needs me. You needed me. Who are you going to turn to? You have no one, Lucius. I have both of you. I have Minerva," He scoffed and faced the young man, "You're still young. Inexperienced." Shrugged, "What put something more on your shoulders? How that would be fair, Malfoy."
Lucius rose from the bed and walked up to him, "Then allow me to become wise and experienced, Javier." He wrapped his arms around his lover's waists, "Can't you trust me?" Placed his chin onto the man's shoulder.
The shoulders locked up once the veela managed a hold of him, "…I grew up to unable to trust people. How can I?"
"And my brother did the worse?"
Professor Kin nodded, unable to answer him. It was the truth, but there was much difficulty to explain it without giving the future away. Despite the fact he doesn't even know, Javier had to be cautious or Lucius would assume later on.
"Yes." He whispered, unable to speak much.
His arms tightens, "I saw what he did before I interrupted. I saw your eyes in fear. To see you completely naked, but I would never thought of you any different. I don't know how much he hurts you, but he will never be able to again."
Javier snapped his eyes closed and held it in. The tears building up, it was threatening to escape, and barely holding it. He felt he was molding into the veela's arms and unable to go anywhere. Lucius cradled him, pressing the lips onto his head, and didn't say anymore. He could sense how hurt his lover was, but nothing more. He could see the tears already escaping and his fingers wiped them away.
"Too strong…it hurts so badly, Malfoy…" His voice broke, knees giving in.
The veela held onto him and picked him up. He carried the professor to the bed and held him closely. He tried soothing the man, but it didn't seem to wavier so easily. The watery eyes kept pouring out to the point there wasn't a chance to be ending it any time soon. The young man hushed and rocked him to the point there were no words.
'Merlin. I…didn't mean…I really scared the hell out of him, didn't I?' The guilt on Erasmas.
Lucius mentally scoffed, 'You think? Do you really think a revenge really worth a broken man? A man I happen to fallen in love and wanted nothing but love? He still gave me a chance, Erasmas, but I can see that he has been through that he doesn't want a relationship. He merely dealt with me.'
There wasn't much a response from his brother, considering they discussed this frequently and hadn't really much to prove the damage until now. To see Javier devastated to that short time of day, it pained the lover's heart.
'Then let me apologize to him personally.' Erasmas softly spoken.
Lucius stared down at the man, thought about what his eldest brother was trying to do.
'It's too soon, Mas. Too soon. If you come out, he won't be able to stand up for himself. I believe he would be merely afraid of you and never trusts me again.' Lucius gulped mentally.
A hum. It was something that the eldest does, but Lucius knew there wouldn't much to say afterward. The others hadn't spoken or interacted since they couldn't do much in the matter. Everything was based on words and that was it.
Javier still wept, curling into the veela's arms, and nothing changed. It hasn't changed until he had fallen asleep. Somehow, Lucius had gotten a feeling it was a start and he decided he would be a better partner to trust and turn to. He vowed that to his heart and nothing more.
For now, he magically placed them under the blanket and held his lover closely to keep him safe in their sleep. The silencio charms were removed and began to settle into the night, despite the situation. A little morning plans, Lucius decided a newer approach if he wanted to help Javier to heal properly. It gave him a smile before falling asleep with the rest of the dark night.
A knut for thoughts?
