Chapter 35

Belle had fallen asleep and hadn't even noticed that they were already home and that Elijah had pulled her into his bed and laid her down to rest, him right beside her where she belonged "My Belle soon we will be married and won't have to worry about anybody trying to pull us apart. Life will be better for all of us."

Belle murmured "Yes my king my love, life will be better for the both of us."

The light broke out early in the morning she woke up to someone shaking her awake "wake up my lady...Belle we need to get up, Elijah wants to start the day early."

Belle rolled over to see Darcie who was dressed in a golden dress and a headband holding her hair out of her face, her necklaces swinging around her as she moved "What are you wearing Darcie, you never wear dresses and why are you calling me my lady? You can call me Belle as always everyone does that is important to me otherwise they call me Isabelle."

Darcie helped her up and led her to the bathroom "Well now that the town sees that Elijah and Klaus, and the family are in charged that is what everyone is going to be calling you or my queen. It only seems proper to call you by your new title, I'm nothing but loyal to you."

Belle turned around and took her hand and pulled her down and said "You are my closest friend to me and my oldest; you have been there from the beginning helping me. And Kol loves you and your family...my sister. You call me Belle and none of that formal thing again. Now you said something about getting me dressed."

Darcie nodded and said "Of course my...Belle," She left the bathroom as I set up the bath and got myself cleaned up from yesterday's events. Belle got out and Darcie came back with a sky blue and gold dress and a diamond earrings to match, "Here you go Belle."

Belle took the dress and pulled it on with Darcie's help asked "So what's with all the dresses? Are we going to a formal event, because that's the only answer I can come up with?"

Darcie took a brush and ran it through Belle's curly blonde hair and laughed "No this is just the way that Elijah wants us to dress as, we need to look the royal and leader parts. Caroline is doing the same thing as are all of the guys. I hope you're alright with this big change?"

Belle looked up into the mirror and smiled at her reflection and stood up and twirled around and patted Darcie on the shoulder "I don't mind at all my dear friend," she held out her hand for her friend "Come on down Darcie I'm sure Kol will want to compliment you on your looks also."

Darcie smirked and ran a hand through her short black hair as they ran down the stairs to the kitchen, Belle let go of Darcie and got herself a blood bag and drank about 3 of them she was starving but she held back she didn't want to hurt Darcie in anyway.

When she was done she followed Darcie into the living room she was right all of the Mikaelson family was dressed up like they stepped back in time "You weren't kidding we are actually going for this look," She looked at her dashing mate Elijah in his tux dress pants and hair slicked back and at Klaus who looked similar to his brother in a way now, "Well I guess people will understand now that we aren't kidding."

Elijah came up and rushed over to Belle spinning her around; Belle knew that she only saw this playful fun side of Elijah. He hides this side and goes for the serious and stricken look to others to protect his family. "Of course my lovely Belle we are taking over this town and world make it a better place for all."

Klaus got up and copied his brother and picked up a Caroline dressed in a golden and white dress with her diamond bracelet that she knew Klaus got her. The moment was fun for a while they were celebrating a small victory over the team that stood against them.

The moment was broken when Klaus stopped and sat Caroline down and Elijah did the same with Belle. Klaus said "Now time to deal with a family issue."

Darcie made a move to get up so did Alice and her cubs but Klaus stopped them "No your apart of this," to Darcie he said "Your with us, you helped my mate and Elijah's and also your with our brother Kol...you can't denied that," and then to Alice "You're one of my most loyal hybrids and you helped Belle so you're staying also."

They stopped were they were and sat back down; Caroline smiled at Klaus and said "What's the problem Niklaus? And how is it a family issue?"

Klaus saw Elijah running a hand through his hair and Kol running hands through Darcie black hair this is a way to keep him calm and not go all crazy. Rebekah just stood back trying not to be here at the moment. Klaus was the only calm one that could speak "As you know Finn has not been seen since we made an attack on the farm of vervain...and our Mother Esther has not been seen in about 2 or more weeks."

Belle knew this was true and Darcie looked confused "Who are we talking..."

Belle explained before Kol could answer "Finn is there other brother and Esther is there mother you must have felt another witches presence."

Darcie closed her eyes and then reopened her gold-green eyes "I do far, far away from here, but around her I feel betrayal and dark magic...she's planning something...something she does not want you all to know about."

Elijah put his head down and Klaus growled "That's no surprise there, she still hates what we are and of course Finn is with her on this...she had tried before to get rid of us...now she once again is plotting against us. Just when I thought we could start a new life together and put vampire in their rightful place."

Belle stood up and put a hand on Klaus his eyes flashed yellow and Belle backed down and showed she was no harm to the original hybrid "Klaus please calm down we don't know this to be true we can't just barge in on them we need to come up with a plan this is why we are here."

Rebekah stood up her green and gold dress flowing behind her icy blond hair "Brothers she is right we need to trap Finn and find out what he knows that is the first step. Come now Nik mother is not going to ruin our plan to get in power. Were so far along and Belle and Elijah are getting married, and you and Caroline are."

Klaus calmed down and said "Your right sister now who is going to call Finn for us."

Kol chuckled in the background "Already done he is here in 5...4...3...2..."

And the door burst open Finn came running to us in the living room slamming the door shut. His hair wild from running his suit all ruffled "What is it you wand Kol...Elijah I'm with mother and suppose to meet up with her..."

The doors and windows slam shut as Klaus runs around and Elijah slams Finn down on the chair and we all watched this together and Klaus spoke up "You're not going anywhere brother...we want some questions answered and you're going to give them to us."

Belle watched this and smirked so did Caroline and Rebekah did to Darcie was chanting a spell putting a shied around the room making sure Finn didn't go anywhere.
