-5 Years Later-
"Aaaaaah, so relaxing."
Who knew that retiring from the ninja life could be so relaxing, Naruto did now. Naruto sat inside of the greenhouse in his backyard, yes his backyard, considering that he and Yami had travelled across the Galaxies, they had to buy a home on a planet that they could one day settle down on. After Naruto travelled with Yami while she was doing her missions, he had found planets that were now new homes to the Tailed Beasts. Never again would they be forced into helping with the creation of Jinchuriki, and one day he would die off as the last Jinchuriki to exist. He, with the chakra of all of the Tailed Beasts, and Kurama, would be the last Jinchuriki and sealed Tailed Beast. That is, unless Kurama agreed to allow himself and the chakra of the Tailed Beasts inside of Naruto to be sealed inside of one of Naruto's own descendants so that the Tailed Beasts would always have a link so they could speak with each other.
A plant with long slippery vines crept it's way across his right arm, an arm he kept covered in bandages. When he used his arm, and Sasuke's arm, to together form the core of Memorze's only moon, he had to get it replaced. Thankfully, the now 22 year old Naruto had gotten his arm replaced several years previously.
Standing, now, at 180 cm tall, Naruto had surpassed his own parents in height. He wore a laid back orange hoodie that was most of the way unzipped, with black sweat pants, and a white shirt underneath. On the white shirt, there was a four pointed star, with a red spiral in the middle of it. His body had become larger, more muscular, and he had traded the Uzumaki clan symbol for an upgraded version of it. As the "clan head" of the Uzumaki clan, he decided it was time to upgrade their clan symbol to include the symbol that was worn by the new Matriarch to the clan.
Naruto clipped the flower off of one of the plants, and started to strip it.
One of his hobbies was cross-breeding plants that a certain weapon brought him back whenever she came back from her missions. He had an entire greenhouse that was filled with crossbreeds of different space plants, something that made him happy. Even more so when he looked at the first potted plant that he had, the one that had been his first birthday gift. The plant that he crossed with almost every plant.
"Papa, Papa, Papa! You're late for work!"
"Ma ma, don't worry Himawari, Papa will be there soon." Naruto stood up ad dusted himself off. He felt a small child hug his leg, and smiled down as he rubbed the top of a little blond head.
His little pride and joy.
A little 4 year old girl, that bore great resemblance to her parents. She had the brightest of blond hairs, which she inherited from both parents. She had a cute little round face, with two whisker marks on each cheek. Her eyes were a bright shade of blue, and in that department she took more after him. She had his peach skin, but she had her mother's lithe frame, though she still had a little chubbiness that came with being a child to her.
She was named after her Godmother, one of Naruto's closest living friends. Her name containing both the characters for 'Hinata' and 'Hyuga' in one. With the combination of his spiky hair, and Yami's straight hair, she was born with a mess of hair shaped like a leaf.
Himawari Uzumaki, his daughter.
He picked her up and tossed her on his shoulder, before he left the greenhouse with his child humming happily.
"When Mama gets back, can we go to Papa's home world?" Himawari asked as she looked up at the sky. She didn't remember her Papa's home planet, since he told her it was too dangerous for her to go to on a regular basis. She had been born there, but she had been raised on one of the most peaceful planets in the Universe... in comparison. A planet that had an extremely low level of technology, and a low danger rating, compared to the majority of the universe. She ducked her head when they passed through a gate that led to the front yard, where there was a moderately well sized ramen stand that was situation in front of the house that she and the Uzumaki family lived in. "Granny, Gramps!" Himawari jumped off of his shoulders, and she ran towards the ramen stand that had two people working in it.
Naruto nodded to his parents.
They were the reason that he had bought a home on this planet, since considering the fact that they had been dead for so long, if it was known that they were alive again it would cause a major uproar. People would start assuming that there were easy ways to bring back the dead, and it would just become a hassle dealing with all of the people trying to create forbidden jutsu, and risking their own lives under the assumption they could be brought back. So, Naruto had asked his parents if they were willing to live together on a different planet.
"Hima! Oooooh, how is my favorite little Sunflower doing today?" Kushina jumped out of the ramen stand and ran over to shower her grandchild in hugs and kisses.
Naruto nodded to his father.
"Sorry I'm late, I lost track of time. How's Golden Spiral's business doing today?" Naruto asked his father as he grabbed an apron and put it on over his clothes. He entered the stand portion of the house, the ramen stand was connected to the front of the house, and smiled as he worked alongside his father.
Golden Spiral, the name of his small ramen stand, which did pretty well business-wise. It was situated in the middle of the residential district, and it got plenty of business since it didn't have any competition. Not to mention it had three ninja that were using their ninjutsu skills to cheat and make the ramen faster, better, and for a higher quality with a cheaper price.
"Not too busy, Kushina's been bored today. Think it's cool if she takes Himawari and goes shopping?" Minato asked his son/boss as he chopped the veggies that would be used during the lunch rush. He had a serene smile on his face, happy that he had a job where he got to work next to his son. Considering that Naruto had just finished finding the Tailed Beasts homes in the last few years, and come to live in the house he bought for them, it was nice to live with his son again. "Kushina always gets bored when we're slow, being a waitress can be a bit boring." Minato spoke as he egged for the answer.
Naruto shrugged.
Sure, why not.
"Ma's a total babe, it would be a waste not to use that. I don't mind if she and Himawari go shopping though. Ma, Himawari, you two can have the day off, me and Pa will handle things here." Naruto called out to the two girls. His answer was a response of joy, while his father grinned next to him. Naruto glanced at him with a raised eyebrow, before he shrugged again.
"Yeah!"
"Heheheh... You and Yami sure made quite the happy little girl." Minato spoke as he watched the child run off with her grandmother. "... and it's weird to think that next year I turn 30... and I already have a grandchild." Minato laughed when he realized that he felt old, without actually being old. He leaned against the counter, while Naruto looked up at the sky.
He smiled to himself.
"... I can't wait for Eve to come back, it's been a couple of weeks. Himawari has been missing her mother." Naruto sighed even with a grin. He knew that his wife wasn't the type to simply set aside her assassin work, and allow herself to become a housewife. She wasn't suited for that life, it didn't fit her. His own mother was perfectly suited for that, but his wife wasn't. It was fine though, because whenever she came back, she would stay for as long as she was gone.
Eve.
Whenever he was alone with her, or with family, he called her that. She still blushed so cutely whenever he called her by her real name, but he still called her Yami-chan whenever they were with company that wasn't family.
"Papa, love you!"
His daughter jumped on the counter and gave him a quick kiss, something that got a smile from him, and he laughed when he saw that she had used her transformation ability to change her hair color to red. That way she would match her grandmother while they went out shopping. His daughter had inherited both her mother's nanomachines, and his own impressive chakra. Now, he never trained her in how to use the chakra side of her heritage (she was not a ninja, and only 4 years old) but the nanomachines came naturally to her.
"See you boys later." Kushina spoke as she walked off, Himawari following after her.
Naruto and Minato sighed and waved them off.
"The're going to cause trouble."
It was a statement.
"Yep, going to deal with that later... anyway... Seems like we have a customer." Naruto looked at the front counter as somebody came in, and he grinned and leaned across the counter. "... and she's super pretty."
Yami walked into the stand, her body covered in small, healing cuts and bruises. She sat down and looked at Naruto, before she blushed and looked away from him. Minato started to work on the ramen that she was going to eat, though she wasn't going to pay for it. Not that she had to pay for it, since she had partial ownership of the stand with Naruto.
"... I'm back."
She would always be back.
This was her home.
