George POV
I apparated directly to Dani's parent's front door. I knocked desperately, deciding if they didn't open the door in 10 seconds, I would barge right in. Fortunately, it only took 5 seconds for Darrion to open the door.
"Well, hello George. What has you stopping by? Without Dani, I see."
"No time. I need you to betroth Dani to me." I said. It wasn't a question.
"What?" Sabrina asked, stepping up behind her husband.
"Wyatt challenged me and Dani took the challenge herself. I just spoke to Cari and she told me what that all means. You need to stop the fight before it's too late. Betroth her to someone, it doesn't have to be me. Please, you have to stop this!"
I was out of breath and barely got the words out. I was almost near tears.
Darrion looked over to his wife. "Call James and Tia." She rushed off without another word. "George, if I tell you where the challenge is being fought, can you take me there?"
I nodded. "Tell me where it is. I'm sure I know somewhere close. Once we get close enough, I should be able to see it enough to get us there quickly."
Darrion rushed out the door. "Good. I hope we're not too late."
