"Fitz, WHERE IS HELGA, AND WHY THE HELL IS TEDDY DUCT TAPED TO THE WALL!?" Liv screamed as she went to remove the four year old from his suspended state. Liv looked over and saw that Fitz was still frozen in place. Liv turned to Karen and Gerry. "SOMEONE NEEDS TO ANSWER ME NOW! DO YOU KNOW HE COULD HAVE FALLEN AND BEEN HURT!?" Liv said to the two cowering children.

"But moooooooom! Teddy said he wanted to be Spiderman so we made his Spiderman. We put tape on his hands but he wouldn't stick. So we put tape on his butt but he still wouldn't stick! So we put tape on all of him and he stuck." Gerry said while Karen stood completely frozen. Liv had never yelled at them before. They had heard stories of Liv when she was mad, but never had they experienced it themselves. Karen looked up at Liv with tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry mom. We just wanted to jeep Teddy quiet so you could sleep. We didn't duct tape his head though so that's good right?"

Liv looked at Fitz as she removed Teddy from the wall and set him down. He seemed to be fixated on the tornado that had consumed what once was their living room.

"Why is their pancake batter all over the sofa?" Fitz asked as he finally regained the ability to speak.

"I wanted to make pancakes for you and mom. Gerry was being a troll and tried to take the bowl from me. He pushed me and it spilled."

"I did not push you liar!"

"Did too!"

"Did not you little troll!"

Fitz looked even further into the mess. It seemed that every single toy all of them owned had been dragged into the living room. The television had what Fitz prayed was chocolate on it. Karen explained later that Teddy wanted chocolate milk so she made it for him.

Fitz turned to the kids and tried to compose himself.

"What do the two of you have to say for yourselves?"

Gerry stood up and turned to Fitz trying to lighten the mood. "Well dad, at least the living room isn't as bad as the ki..."

Fitz heard Liv scream as she entered the kitchen of the home. They rarely used it, but they did have food stocked there so they could if they wanted.

"tchen..." Gerry finished as Fitz cut him a daring glance before running into the kitchen. When he reached Liv, he found the source of the problem. There was pancake batter splattered all over the floors and the counters. Chocolate syrup was everywhere too, and apparently someone decided they wanted cereal but changed their mind because their was a mountain of it in the sink.

Fitz looked at Liv who stormed into the living room. Fitz followed behind her and stood there as she began to speak to the kids.

"Do you all understand that food is money and money comes from work, hard work. Do you understand that it will take hours for this mess to be cleaned up? Do you understand that I will have no way to explain why this house looks like this when the help I need to call arrives?"

Karen and Gerry hung their heads unable to look at Liv. Fitz moved in and wrapped his arm around Liv's waist.

"Livvie, you don't have to call anyone because these two are going to clean this mess up themselves." Fitz said staring at the children.

"But dad!"

"You made the mess and you will clean it up. When your finished, you are in your rooms. Grounded for the next week!"

"Daaaaaad!"

"You will learn that you can not do as you see fit. There are consequences for your actions! And your brother? He is a living breathing boy, he is not some fantasy out of a Marvel comic! The two of you are grounded! No video games, no tv, no cell phones, no ipods. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?" Fitz said with finality in his voice. Even Liv didn't dare speak when he was disciplining the children.

The kids looked up at Fitz and nodded. They went off to the kitchen and grabbed supplies they needed to begin cleaning. Liv walked over to Teddy and picked him up before carrying him into his room and changing his clothes.

Fitz entered the room a few moments later and looked at a very shaken up Liv. She wasn't so much concerned about less as she was with the fact that Teddy could have seriously injured. Liv looked up and saw Fitz studying her.

"I'm sorry." Fitz said, his eyes full of remorse.

"For what?" Liv said looking into Fitz's eyes. She knew what he was apologizing for and she thought it was actually rather insulting. Liv set Teddy down and walked over to Fitz.

"You don't have to apologize for the things OUR children do. I don't just claim them as mine when they are good, I claim the naughty as well. You handled it and Teddy is fine. Apologizing for something they did means you don't view me as their mother. I know im technically not, but I love them as if they were mine. Destroyed house and all. Besides, this is just the beginning. Wait until the triplets join the mix." Liv said brushing her hand across Fitz's cheek.

Fitz looked at Liv and everything seemed to be ok again. He was sure she would have taken this far worse than she did. She didn't have to deal with them but she did. She didn't have to love them, but she does. She really loved them as if they were her own and she never had to. Her love for them was the same love she had for the triplets, and she never separated the children because of their actions. No matter how difficult they could be to love, especially now, Liv loved them unconditionally. Fitz was thankful for that.

Fitz looked down at his watch and realized it was time for him to begin his day. He looked at Liv with the same look he had given her numerous times before standing in her apartment.

"You have to go." Liv said putting on a smile.

"I have to go." Fitz confirmed, his voice cracking with every word. It didn't matter that Liv would be there when he got home, the hardest part of his day was always leaving her. He really hated leaving her when the morning began such as this one. Fitz looked at Liv a moment longer.

"One minute?" He asked holding out his arms.

"One minute." Liv said as she stepped inside and was greeted with his warm embrace.

Fitz stood there and held Liv and for that one minute all that mattered in the world was the two of them. One minute wasn't too much to ask for was it?

Fitz rubbed Liv's arms and stepped back giving her a kiss goodbye. He turned to Liv and smiled.

"Maybe we shouldn't sleep in on the days Helga has off." Fitz said as he turned and walked out the door.

Liv took a deep breath and prepared herself to go out and help the children when Fitz came back in the room.

"Liv."

"Yes honey?"

"You'd better not lift so much as a finger to help them. This is their punishment."

"Yes Mr. President." Liv said as she smiled and watched Fitz walk out the door.

Liv walked into the nursery and saw that Samuel was awake. She knew the girls would be awake soon as well, and she went to grab their bottles. The nurses should be there soon, and although Liv didn't need her anymore, she begged Fitz to allow Natasha to stay on as help with the children. Honestly, Liv's reasons were more self centered. She missed having mother figure in her life and Natasha has helped take some of that pain away. Liv fed Samuel, burped, and changed him and placed him in his swing as she picked up Samara who was the next to wake up. She did the same thing for Samara, and went and tended to Sierra who was the last to wake up.

While Liv was feeding Sierra, Teddy came into the room and walked over to her watching as Liv fed the baby.

"Teddy, do you want to help feed your sister?" Liv asked extending an arm out for Teddy.

"Yes mommy. I want to feed the baby!" Teddy said running over to Liv. Teddy held the bottle as Sierra drank, and Liv could see the proud smile grace his fave that he was helping with his baby sister. Liv noticed Teddy who seemed deep in thought. She wondered what was spinning thought his mind this time. Just then he looked up at Liv and and spoke.

"Mommy, do boys eat babies too?" Teddy asked, his tone serious in thought.

"No Teddy, boys don't eat babies." Liv said smiling at the child.

"Good because I bet they taste yucky. I don't know how girls do it." Teddy said with a smile.

"Teddy, you'll understand when you're older." Liv said kissing the little boy on his head. It was moments like this that made every negative moment so much more worth it.

Teddy helped Liv finish feeding Sierra and he kissed her on the head before Liv placed her in her swing and started it. Liv reached out for Teddy's hand and they made their way into the living room.

Karen and Gerry were surprisingly almost finished with the living room. The sofa of course would need to be steam cleaned, but they did their best getting the mess up. Realizing there was no way she could have company with the home looking the way it did, Liv called James and rescheduled their play date. He was very understanding as he and Cyrus had Ella who was a handful to keep up with. He couldn't imagine having six. He said reassuring Liv all was fine. They scheduled another playdate and Liv hung up thanking James for his understanding.

When Karen and Gerry finished cleaning up the living room, Liv prepared a snack for them in the functional part of the kitchen. While they were eating their snack Liv sat down to talk to them.

"What have you learned from this situation?" Liv asked both Karen and Gerry,Gerry of course being the first one to talk.

" I've learned that we need to be more careful in the things we do. That we have to be mindful to not make a mess, and to clean it up if we do. I learned that no matter how cool it would be, Teddy will never be Spiderman although duct tape man has a nice ring to it. I've learned that there are some things I'm still too young to do myself. I'm sorry." Liv smiled at Gerry seemingly pleased with his answer. Liv turned to Karen.

"Karen, what have you learned from all of this?" Liv asked curiously

Karen thought for a moment clearly recounting the mornings events. She finished her thought and turned to Liv.

"What I learned today was simple. Don't ever have kids. They make a huge mess." Karen said looking up at Liv. Her tone was serious as she continued. "You know mom, I don't know how you do it with six kids. Raising kids is hard work!"

Liv laughed as she hugged the children and let them finish their snack. Once they were finished, they began the kitchen. The moment they resumed their cleaning, the nurses walked through the door.

"Lord have mercy, what on God's green Earth happened here?" Natasha said looking at who she already knew to be the culprits.

"We wanted to make mom breakfast?" Gerry said with a nervous laugh.

"Yeah and dad said we had to clean it up by ourselves." Karen said trying to weasel sympathy from the women.

Natasha looked at the children and laughed. "Did you make the mess?"

"Yes."

"Welp... Guess you have to clean it up to. I'll be back in an hour to do a white glove check. We wouldn't want your daddy finding out you missed a spot now would we?"

"No ma'am" the children responded together. Natasha turned to Liv.

"Mrs. Grant, your husband has scheduled a massage for you. You need to get over to the spa now. I'd say from the look of this house he's a smart man in doing so. You go and relax, and we'll be ok here." The woman said clearly seeing the stress in Liv's face. Liv kissed the kids and updates Natasha on the babies before heading off to get her massage. When she got there the room was empty, but there was a note on the table accompanied by a towel. Liv opened the note.

"Put me on and relax." Liv knew Fitz's handwriting but Fitz wad nowhere around. Maybe he had the note sent over. Liv undressed and climbed onto the table and laid down. A few moments later, Liv felt the hands of a man begin to rub her back. She closed her eyes and began to enjoy the massage. There was something about this man's touch that made her relax. That made her feel weak in the knees. That made her ashamed to say she was aroused. Just as het body began to tense up at the thought, the man spoke.

"Hi." Fitz said as he continued massaging Liv's back.

"Hi." Liv said as she relaxed assured that Fitz was still the only man that could provoke those kinda of feelings in her.

"Surprised?" Fitz asked as he began working the tightness out of Liv's back.

"Very. I thought you had a country to run."

"I do and I am. Its a slow day in the oval. I figured an hour wouldn't hurt. If I'm needed Cyrus knows how to find me. Its not like their aren't agents posted outside the door. Now lay down and relax as I give your body a full work over."

Liv closed her eyes and did as Fitz told her. She enjoyed the time he was taking with her body. There was nothing sexual about the massage, but it was still full of erotic tones as Fitz's skin brushed against hers.

Fitz finished the massage and helped Liv off of the table and into her clothes. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her gently yet full of passion. When he broke the kiss he traced her lips with his thumb.

"See you tonight?" Fitz asked staring into her eyes.

"See you tonight." Liv responded licking her lips. Liv kissed Fitz one more time before heading out the door. She spent the entire day reliving the gentleness of the massage he had given her. Liv watched the clock and tried to find ways to fill her day. She was given an entire day to rest, and entire day where she could just tend to herself, and she had no clue what she wanted to do. All she could do was count down the hours until Fitz returned home and she could return the generous favor he had bestowed upon her this morning.

Damn that man for being so sexy.
