Will is definitely aroused hearing Sonny's devoted declaration and scolds himself for having agreed to help Sami. She's stooped being sweet and puppy-like now and is just demanding. Will loves her but he's sworn to say no the next time she asks for help. Right now, he wants to make love to his boyfriend who has just finished his shift and he can't because they have an engagement party to continue planning. Sami is a perfectionist and so is Sonny. He's sitting opposite his boyfriend and sees him heat up about some ridiculous little detail and suddenly wonders... what if it was their engagement party? Would Sonny still be fussy? Would he mind? Or would being engaged to Sonny so thrilling, it wouldn't matter. It is food for thoughts, and fantasy and Will is so far gone Sami snaps at him "Will, come on, you're not listening, are you? Jeez, I cannot count on you!" Will is about to make an ironic reply but Sonny beat him to it "Excuse me Sami... I know you're Will's mom and all... But I would like you not to assault him like that. I do not take criticizing Will well." Sami looks contrite and Will begins planning numerous way of breaking up this meeting or dragging away Sonny in the office for a quickie. He doesn't have too, although some of this ideas were hilarious and he puts them away for another time of need. EJ, Sami's new man, has entered Common Ground and is heading to them. The party is a surprise, so Sami excuses herself, leaving Sonny hanging mid-sentence. He sends her a frustrated look and keeps it until he spots Will's eyes and smile and transforms. Into a very horny boyfriend.
Ten minutes later, they are assaulting the apartment's door with their combine bodies. It takes all Will's self-control to push Sonny away and fish out his keys. Once inside, though, he loses it and Sonny finds himself pinned to the fridge's door. It must be uncomfortable but he doesn't complain and actually encourages Will with cries such as "Yes, yes, harder, come on, make me yell" even though he's already yelling. Will pounds as hard as he can, losing his mind from Sonny's tightness and warmth. He doesn't top a lot but he loves it when it happens. Sonny is strong and protecting, so having him surrender like that makes Will feels like a god. A very pagan one, the kind who were screwing with mortals...
Sonny comes ungracefully, spurting grunts and Will's name. Will comes instantly, he's never been able and resist Sonny's face at that moment. Later, they are lying in the bed, cuddling, when Sonny asks "Will, do you sometimes think about..." "Hmmm?" "Nothing..." This sounds like a challenge and Will is up for it "No, tell me, honey. I need to know, now." Sonny blushes. Will is always surprised when he does. "Your mom and EJ..." What? Why would Sonny ask that. He must look like he's freaking out because now Sonny is talking much faster "they're engaged and all. Do you think one day w... you will be?" Will feels tears ready on the edge of his eyelids. He correct Sonny "I think one day we will. I hope so. Right now, I don't envision it with another man. I love you so much you know."
Two days later, he's remembering this moment with all his soul. To distract himself from the cliff he's facing. Chad isn't there yet and Abbie doesn't know he's coming. This is an explosion waiting to happen. But Sonny seems confident. Cocky even and Will is wondering what the plan is. Apparently, him knowing would ruin it all. This isn't reassuring as it involves heights but Will trusts Sonny with his life.
Abby is chatting happily, oblivious of Will's green complexion, when she becomes silent. Right on cue, here comes Chad. He spots his girlfriend and changes the way he walks. One thing for sure, he's still in love.
Chad gives a slap on Sonny's shoulder and points to Will "So, we are here to cure Will here of his phobia, right? I think this is doomed, Will is terrible when in the air but it might be fun." He's carefully avoiding Abby's gaze but nobody's fooled, even Abigail. Will puts on a brave smile and lets Sonny finish buckling him up. Abby's ready and Chad gets his turn. Sonny unsubtly asks his girlfriend to help him. Chad accepts but afterwards asks Sonny to check the buckling. Will's opinion is strengthened. Chad doesn't trust Abby.
H remembers to breathe and focuses on Sonny's firm body against him. He manages to reach the top with only his lips tightened. Just like the last time, he's feeling victorious. And shaky. Sonny brings him down again facing two gaping people "Man, how did you do that, Sonny?" Abby adds "I've seen Will puke at the idea of climbing a ladder. This is a miracle." Chas asks "Seriously, Will, tell us. How come you were able and face your fear like that?" Will answers sincerely "because I trust him. I know he loves me and wouldn't bear me getting hurt. So I can relax enough." Chad closes his eyes and Will gets it. Lack of trust. For the next thirty minutes, Will and Sonny gets Abby and Chad in situations when trust is needed. Will even expect Sonny to pull out a blindfold but he doesn't get to that. Chad is tensed up and Abby is reluctant but by the end of the climbing session, the two lovers are looking at each other differently. Sonny gives the excuses of driving Will to class to leave them alone and once in the car, Will asks softly "I don't have class and you know it. What is this about?" Sonny turns with a grin that burns Will's skin with its darkness and answers "I was thinking we would go home. I've discarded one item for the Chad and Abby couple recovery. I gathered we could use it privately." Sonny points to a bag on the floor next to Will's feet, then resume his driving. Will opens the bag. It is indeed a blindfold.
