Traveling through the rest of the mountains took the remainder of the day. By the time we made it, the stars had started filling up the sky. We took a few moment to stare at them in all their sparkling and twinkling glory. I had told Darkness what her father had said and she had broken down into tears, but they were a mix of sadness and happiness. Afterwards, we slowly crossed over a Thunderpath and, to my surprise, no monsters had appeared.

Crossing through a fenced off moor served little to no problems and by the time we had reached another Thunderpath, our paws felt weak and heavy from the exhaustion. But we still managed to cross with no monsters appearing once again. We were now in a small Twolegplace where a little abandoned Twoleg nest stood before us. Wasting no time, we had rushed in with what little energy we had and collapsed on the ground. No one stood watch, we were that drained from everything that had happened. I was the last to fall asleep, listening to the snores of my friends as I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
