A/N: Fact Seven: Now to be honest, I wasn't too impressed by ZnT's villains. Honestly the ones I thought that were interesting enough to me was that guy who was blind and could sense heat and that dragon who can pass as Acnologia's cousin that eats void mages. Wales I guess he passes. For the villain of this story, I figured he would come from Halkeginia but would be just as strong as the villains from Fairy Tail and interesting.

Chapter Thirty Eight: The Bond between Sisters

"Last Time on Familiar Fairy." Our battle against Void continues as he turned into a hideous monster. Natsu tried to attack head on but he couldn't do anything. Void used an attack that blasted Natsu as well as part of the city with his attack. Soon after that the other members of the guild showed up and started to fight him but they fell one by one. Some of them did give Void a fight but the result was all the same. He did one attack where he just blew up the entire courtyard. After it was over, I looked to see the courtyard ravaged and the members scattered everywhere. If that wasn't bad enough, Void attacked us by sending a magic blast toward us! However it was blocked when a shield made out of diamond appeared. To everyone's surprise, mostly my own was the appearance of Evolin and Marolin? Why is she here?"

Third Person P.O.V

The appearance of the diamond dragon slayer twins had the audience discussing with each other again wondering who they are. All of them wondered what two people can do when so many others have fallen before Void. The twins looked at Void and felt a little bit imitated. Evolin giggled nervously. "He's a bit scary looking like that. Oh boy this isn't going to be easy."

Her sister felt the same. "So this is what it looks like."

The older twin looked at her. "What looks like what?"

Marolin pointed at her former guild master. "That form Void is using. It's called Hell's Soul Inferno. I only heard about it from him but this is my first time seeing this. I never imagined it would be this frightening or this powerful." The younger twin slightly trembled.

It was a surprise to see her sister shake to Evolin. For her to be scared of the monster in front of them, the guy had to be insanely powerful. "Evolin!" She turned around and looked up to see Louise. "What you doing here? I thought you weren't going to be involved with Fairy Tail anymore?"

The older twin smiled at her. "I'm not here because of Fairy Tail." She looked at her sister. "I'm here for her."

Louise looked at Marolin who continued to stare at Void. Last she seen the younger twin was back at the academy and shut down after her against her sister. Speaking of the academy. "How did you arrive here in the first place? The capital is a ways from the academy."

Evolin giggled. "Well to explain that, it started when Void appeared on those vision lacrima. As soon as he started to talk, Marolin here stood up and just ran out of the school. I followed her of course and we had this discussion about how I didn't need come with her and it's something she has to do on her own but I insisted. Shortly after, we met this dragon flying over us and I called out to her." Tabitha thought she must be talking about Sylphid since she hasn't come back for a while. "The dragon landed before us and I asked if she could help us travel to the capital faster. Marolin here was against it but I didn't give her much of a choice. We boarded her and traveled to the capital. You should've seen Marolin's face!" She started laughed.

Her sister punched Evolin. "I thought I told you to not speak of that!"

The older twin laughed. "But it was so funny seeing you trying not to throw up."

Marolin growled. "Because it was freaking transportation. I still don't know why you didn't throw up."

Evolin giggled. "Well that's because she isn't transportation. She was a friend helping us out. It's not the first time I flew. Skeeter carried me at one time."

"Wait Skeeter carried you?" The younger sister asked.

The older twin nodded. "Yeah. I saw Natsu and the others being carried by their cats and I thought I would give it a try. It was really fun." Everyone couldn't believe these two were having a conversation in the middle of a battle right in front of the enemy. "I'm getting off topic here. Any way we arrived at the capital just when we saw this huge explosion coming from the castle. We went over there and ta da we're here."

Well Louise was thankful they did show up when they did. But still… "Be careful! He was strong enough to beat the whole guild!"

That was startled Evolin. "Wait seriously? Even Natsu?" She saw Louise nod. The older twin turned around to look at Void. "No way…" Now that they had a closer look, the twins could see the members lying everywhere in the courtyard. "Well crap. Now what?"

Marolin cracked her knuckles. "Guess we'll just have to give it our best shot at beating him."

Void continued to look at the twins. More closely, he looked at Marolin's soul. It had changed the last time he saw the diamond dragon slayer. "Marolin…" The younger twin stared at him. "The darkness that was in your soul has vanished. It is no longer consumed by bitter hatred and anger. It now shines brighter like a diamond." What Void said to her was true. Marolin felt much lighter. It was like she could breathe easier now. "However I see remorse in your soul as well." He laughed. "Do you really think defeating me will wash off all the blood on your hands? After all that which you have spilled in your entire life? You are nothing short but a murderer taking lives whenever you felt like it. You can hear their screams can't you. The begging they did when they asked you to spare their lives? Do you think you'll find redemption and peace after this Crimson Diamond Marolin Luster!?"

Marolin lowered her head staring at the ground while her bangs hid her eyes. Her hands tightened and bit her lower lip. Evolin was worried about her younger sister. What Void said to Marolin was true. After the fight she had with Evolin, many feelings rushed through her body. The biggest one was regret. Regret of what she did in her entire life. Taking the lives of anyone who crossed her path. She even tried to kill her own sister when she was trying to make them a family again. The biggest regret of all was killing Skeeter. Marolin knew him since he hatched out that egg and killing him seemed about the worst thing she had ever done. She may have felt lighter than before but the guilt she has now felt just as heavy. Still, there was only one person who didn't give up on her. One person who still believed in her and she was right there next to Marolin. She raised her head and looked at Void with determination in her eyes. "What you say is true. Beating you isn't going wash off all the blood on my hands. I've done too many things in my life I regret now. However my sister was the only who didn't give up on me. Thanks to her, I can see clearer now. I say beating you and saving the twerp's world is a pretty damn good start at getting my hands wet."

Evolin felt happiness swell inside of her. She never felt so proud before. This was a moment she dreamed of for so long. "I got something to say as well. Thank you Louise. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to reunite with my sister. It's time I pay you back."

With that said the twin diamond dragon slayers were ready to fight. "Are you ready Evo?" Her sister gasped at the nickname and giggled. "What's so funny?"

Evolin giggled a bit more. "It's just that, I haven't heard you call me that in a long time."

Marolin smiled at her sister. "Well then I'll say it again. Are you ready Evo?"

Her sister smiled as well. "Ready when you are Maro!" Both of them got into position. "Let's go!" Both sisters rushed toward Void.

It seems Void has to fight again. Only this time it was against the twin diamond dragon slayers. "Try as you might, you'll fall like the rest!"

Both of them ignored him. Evolin pulled back right arm while Marolin pulled back her left arm. "Diamond…"

"Dragon's…"

"Double Impact!" The two of them yelled together. Both of them punched Void's stomach with their attack.

Void groaned when he felt the two attacks together. "Now!" Evolin shouted. The twins separated to opposite sides of Void. Both of them held out their arms and vortexes of diamonds circled around their arms. "Diamond…"

"Dragon's…"

"Double Grinder!" Both said the name at the same time as their attacks hit Void from the sides and combined together to form cyclone of diamond shards. The twins jumped back from their attack. "Diamond Dragon's Edge Blade!" Both rushed at the diamond cyclone and slashed at the center of it where Void was. The cyclone was destroyed and they were landed at opposite sides. A bright cross of light appeared on his body and struck him again. "Star Cross Slash!" Void fell to the ground with a thud. The twins continued with their assault. "Diamond Dragon's Shard Storm!" The two attacks struck Void at the same time.

Evolin jumped back to where she was facing Void in front. "Marolin!" Her sister nodded and returned to her side. Both of them increased magic power. An aura surrounded them both. "Diamond…"

"Dragon's…"

"ROAR!" Both sisters unleashed their breathe attacks but something strange happened to them. The two attacks merged as one into an even larger attack. It approached Void fast and completely engulfed him. The attack even went out the of the castle's walls.

Everyone in the crowd wondered what happened between the two attacks. "Did you see you see that!?" Luctiana asked. "Both of their attacks combined into an even larger stronger one! That was amazing!"

It was one thing after another for the elf people. "Just what was that exactly?" Ari asked as well. Even Bidashal couldn't find an answer as to what happened.

Agnes wondered the same the same. She has never seen anything like it before. "Just what happened? It was like their attacks combined."

Henrietta thought the same. "What did those two do exactly?"

"Unison Raid." They both looked at Louise.

The queen was confused as to what her friend spoke of. "Unison Raid? What is that?"

Louise looked at the twin dragon slayers. "Unison Raid is a type of magic that's very powerful. It combines two separate magic attacks into one powerful magic attack. It's also known as fusion magic. The thing about it is that it's incredibly difficult to use. Even if a person devoted their entire life to it, they could not hope to achieve it." Her explanation amazed the two of them. "Still it's surprising for the two of them to pull off a Unison Raid. They haven't seen each other years and yet they fight perfectly together. Is this some twin sister thing that's going on here?"

Evolin laughed at what she saw. "That was awesome! Can we do it again?"

Her sister didn't share the same feeling. "It's not over yet." Evolin looked at the younger with a confused look.

True to Marolin's word, Void's arm came out of the ground and rose up. Evolin groaned. "Are you freaking kidding me?! After everything we put through to this guy?"

"That just shows how powerful this form is." Marolin replied.

Void laughed at the twins. "Quite excellent. Very few have been able to pull off a Unison Raid."

Evolin tilted her head in confusion. "What's a Unison Raid?"

Marolin groaned at her sister's question. "We just did a Unison Raid! That's what happened earlier! Our two attacks combining into one!" Her sister understood that. "Jeez you have been living out on the road."

"Enough!" The twins looked back at Void. "I hope you two enjoyed your little family reunion. I'll make you regret challenging me!" He roared loudly as the ground shattered beneath him.

Both girls felt his power. "How can he still have that much magic power left?" Evolin asked.

"I don't think we're fighting Void at all. We're fighting a complete monster here!" Marolin replied.

That gave her older sister an idea. "Maro, can you keep him busy?"

She looked at her sister. "What for?" She saw a look in Evolin's eyes. Marolin gasped. "You're not serious. Can you even handle that in your condition?"

"Look we got no other option here. Keep him busy. I'll help out soon as I can." Her sister was right. They were out of options.

Marolin sighed. "Fine but make it quick and be careful." Evolin nodded. The young twin ran to Void screaming. "You're going down Void! Once and for all!" She jumped and her leg started to glow. "Diamond Dragon's Breaker!"

Void put up his arm to block the attack. He laughed at her attempt. "Fighting against me? I'll show you no mercy Marolin!" He deflected the attack and He disappeared and reappeared on top of the younger dragon slayer. Void struck her into the ground.

As he was about to finish Marolin off, he sense an increase of magic power. He looked over to where Evolin was and pulses were coming out of her. "Get away from my little sister!" She roared as wind blew away from her. Scales appeared all over her body. The older twin felt pain everywhere in her body but ignored it.

Void knew what it was. "Dragon Force?"

Evolin didn't waste any time. She jetted over quickly to where Void was. "DIAMOND DRAGON'S CRASHER!" Her fist collided to his chest and he was sent flying away from the both of them. Evolin rushed over and passed right by him. "DIAMOND DRAGON'S STRIKER!" She kicked Void up high into the air. The older dragon slayer jumped up and over where Void was. "DIAMOND DRAGON'S ROAR!" Her breathe attack struck him back onto the ground. The attack devastated the ground below.

The audience watching were horrified at how powerful Evolin was. "I don't understand what's happening here. What's going on? How is that woman doing that?" Sheffield asked. Joseph was at a loss of words as well. He couldn't figure out what was happening now.

Luctiana had something about what was going on. "I'm sure I saw dragon scales on that woman. Is she part dragon or something?"

Her uncle continued to watch. "She may be but I do not recall any dragon doing that kind of damage."

Again the Duke and Karin could only watch what was happening. "What in the world is that woman? Is she some sort of monster?" There wasn't one thing Karin could figure out what was happening.

Evolin landed back onto the ground. She was panting heavily which was unusual since she just entered Dragon Force. Another surge of pain went through her body. "Damn it. It's happening faster than I thought."

Marolin slowly rose out of the ground and groaned in pain. "Damn he hits hard." As she rubbed the back of her head, she turned to look at her sister who looked exhausted already. Her worries were confirmed true.

The younger twin thought back when they were still at the academy. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah. I guess that fight took more out of me than I thought."

Marolin gritted her teeth in frustration. "You freaking idiot. You haven't recovered from our fight. What were you thinking using that again in your condition?" She had to help out her sister and fast.

Void rose out of the ground again and looked at the older twin. "Kudos for you using the esteemed Dragon Force. Even your sister couldn't unlock it. However I can tell you're too weak to use it any longer. If you were at full strength, you could've had a chance."

Evolin continued to breathe heavy. "He's right. Those attacks weren't nearly as strong when I used them on Marolin. I thought this would be enough on him." A stronger surge of pain ran through her body. Evolin had no choice but drop down to one knee.

Void laughed. "You've hit your limit." He charged up for an attack to finish off Evolin.

"Diamond Dragon's Grinder!" A spinning vortex of diamonds slammed into Void. Marolin ran to her sister and checked up on her. "You're such freaking idiot using this when you know you haven't fully healed yet."

Her sister laughed weakly. "Yeah I guess so. I don't have much left in me to be honest."

Marolin looked over to where Void was. "Think you have enough for one more attack?"

Evolin looked as well. "I should."

Her sister smiled. "Then let's make it count. You hit high and I'll hit low."

The older twin nodded. "Understood."

Void blew the smoke away with his arm. "And what kind of last desperate plan do you have now!"

Evolin jumped into the air while extending her arm out. Marolin raised her hands over her head and an orb of light appeared. "How about this one jackass!"

"DRAGON SLAYER'S SECRET ARTS! LUMIOUS END!"

A giant spear of diamond formed out of Evolin's arms. "ZIRCONIA SPEAR!" She launched the attack right at Void.

The orb in Marolin's hands grew brighter and it was absorbed into her hands. "DIRE DIAMOND MAYHEM!" She slammed her hands into the ground and waves of diamond crystals erupted all headed toward Void. Both attacks collided at the same time hitting Void. The damage was monumental when it traveled to the back of the castle. Evolin smiled before she lost consciousness and fell down. Marolin was panting heavily as well seeing all the damage the two of them did. "That's what you get you bastard." She looked up to see her sister falling. The younger twin scrambled all around until she caught Evolin. Marolin took one good look at her sister and smiled. "Not bad for our first time fighting together huh Evo?" The dragon force faded away from Evolin.

"How adorable."

Marolin gasped as she looked in front to see Void still standing. "That's impossible. You took two direct hits from us. How are you still standing?!"

Void swept his arm off. "I must admit even I thought I was dead. However you seem to have forgotten something about me Marolin. My void magic. True both attacks were aimed at me but I merely evaded by using it jumping into the air. After all, your target was on the ground wasn't it?"

This was bad. Evolin was knockout and Marolin couldn't continue. Louise gritted her teeth and looked at the knight. "Agnes, can I ask you for something?"

Green fire lit up in Void's hand. "A pity you have to die now Marolin. You were my favorite toy to play with. Now you and your sister can spend eternity together!" This was it. These were the final moments Marolin had. At least she atoned for something. Spending time with Evolin. "Now di-"

A powerful explosion erupted right into Void's face. Everyone saw that through the lacrima. Only Louise's family recognized that spell. "That's enough!" All of them heard a voice of a young girl. All cameras focused on her and revealed it to be Louise walked down the courtyard holding two swords, one each hand pointing outward.

"Louise!" Her family shouted.

"So it was her voice I heard earlier."Karin would be extremely relieved if it wasn't for the fact that her daughter was walking towards where Void was. "What are you doing Louise? You can't hope to defeat that monster."

The smoke passed and Void looked at Louise. "So you've come for your death wish as well Valliere?"

Joseph narrowed his eyes. "Valliere?"

Louise ignored him and walked up to the twin diamond dragon slayers. "Thank you for what you did but now you have to get out of here. Get to somewhere safe."

Evolin stared at the young void mage and smiled. "Usually I get mad at things like that but I'll take your word for it." She placed her sister's arm over her should and started to walk away. "Hey kid, thanks for saving our asses. We owe you."

"Think nothing of it." With that the two sisters left Louise alone with Void.

Void growled deeply. "So you're fighting me all alone? Did you not see what I did to your guild? All of them are lying on the ground. Your guild is finished. What can you do?"

Louise glared at the monster. "That's where you're wrong." Everyone seemed confused when they heard her say that. "My guild hasn't fallen yet. As long as I stand, Fairy Tail will continue to fight you!"

Void laughed at her words. "And what makes you think you can defeat me when all others have failed!"

"Because I have two things that'll defeat you." Louise rose up her left hand. "I have Gandálfr, the left hand of god."

Only very few people recognized those runes on her hands. Sheffield stared at them wide eyed. "Gandálfr? She possesses it?"

Now that was an interesting fact to Joseph. "Curious. Does that mean she's…"

"A void mage with familiar powers?" Vittorio finished. "How can there be two of such beings?"

Louise lowered her left hand and raised her right. "And this. The symbol of Fairy Tail. As long as I have this, the whole guild is with me. They'll be fighting alongside me." She visualized everyone at Fairy Tail standing behind her ready to support her. Louise lowered her hand. "Prepare yourself Void! I'm going to kick your ass, Fairy Tail style!"
