After a long travel by boat team RUWBY have finally reach their destination, everyone in the theater was at the edge of their seats waiting to see what would happen between Naruto and Isubo, would it be a heart full reunion or will it turn out into a bloody confrontation?
"Are you nervous?" Blake asked as she stood behind Naruto, who was sitting on the railing of the ship looking deeply at the water below them. They had stopped when they reached the center of the attack zone, and he was just staring down at the water and looking at the blue waves with strange emotion to his eyes. It was unknown exactly what emotion he had, but something told him that there was... something waiting for him deep in the water. Like something about this place was home to him.
"I'm scared Blake." Naruto answered back truthfully as he held out an arm and showed Blake his shaking hand. He was being honest with her when he said that. He was scared out of his mind, because if anything went wrong today, then they would die plain and simple. They would get killed or they would drown in the water, with land being a day's travel by boat. They would be long dead before anyone could come and help, and if they were injured at all they were pretty much screwed as far as medical attention went.
Not that it matter too much to him because of his regeneration, within limits, but the others didn't have that advantage on their sides.
"You're scared... but you have so much courage. I can't see you as scared." Blake said as she walked next to him and leaned against the railing. The others were in battle positions already, while Blake and Naruto used their better sight to try and scout out anything in the water. The others were pretty much at the other side of the ship, and couldn't hear what they were talking about.
"That is a good mentality for any warrior, to be prepare all the time." Said Minato what all shinobis were thinking.
"I think it is more important for them to learn how to confront their fear as Naruto is doing." Add Tsunade well knowing that your fears could get you kill and overcoming was very important to any warrior.
"Both are important, but to me the most important is to be able to harden your heart to do what it is necessary, something that the kid not always does." Add Zabuza knowing that Naruto was too forgiving for his own good sometimes.
"But that is what makes him him, and make us love him for that!" Counter Hinata and nobody could negate it.
"Blake, I'm not some perfect god. I'm a man, and men are flawed. I feel fear, sadness, anger, happiness, and even lust. I don't want to be perfect or unfeeling... every time I go into battle, some part of me is afraid... will I be strong enough, will I meet my end during battle, will I lose another person I love, or even will I lose who I am and fall into madness. I bleed, I cry, and I laugh... and I'm okay with that. Faunus, human, we both bleed when we are hurt, and we cry when our hearts hurt..." Naruto said with slightly sad eyes. He had always had a sort of ability to connect with others, and he realized this pretty recently. Normally he could only do it after crossing fists with somebody, exchanging blows, but after he had become a Sage he had learned how to be wise when the time called for it. It was only now that he could show this side of himself, the wiser version, to somebody.
"Still, you have always faced challenges with a smile before. What is so different now?" Blake asked carefully, while Naruto shook his head.
"Feeling fear, and showing courage in the face of fear are two very different things. I have the courage to grow passed my fear, though it is always there. I don't fear for my own life though really, I fear for your lives... I know it is wrong of me. You are all strong women, but there are some things you just aren't ready for." Naruto stated as his tail started to twitch back and forth, before Blake took his tail in her hands and started to wrap it around her waist as she herself leaned against Naruto. Naruto looked at her in surprise, before he saw the small smile on her face.
"Those are some wise words, he really has become a sage after all." State Jiraiya really proud of his apprentice, this actually surprise many that Jiraiya was actually serious instead of being a super pervert.
But before someone could comment on what Jiraiya said, or his attitude, Honey interrupt them. "Sssh, Blake is going to make her move and I want to see this."
"Oh, the Kitty cat is going for the prize, let us see how she tries!" Rap Killer B but nobody answer him.
"We aren't always going to be ready, but that's why we have friends. To help us stand up when we are knocked down, and to push us forward... you always try to do everything on your own. I actually wish I was like you sometimes. You proudly declare yourself a Faunus, and you don't care what people do to you... you take all their hate with a smile, and do nothing to them... the only time you ever hurt others is to protect people... I can't say the same." Blake told him truthfully as she enjoyed the warmth of his tail, while Naruto looked at her in surprise. What she told him was a pretty big thing to tell something, and his ears detected no lies in her voice. She was being completely honest with him, so with a smile he pulled her into a light hug.
"So far she is doing good, being completely honest to him and telling him what he admires from him." Said Himawari who was one of the few that did have what could be considered a normal love life.
"She still has to make his confession to dad, and make it in a way that even his obliviousness could not misinterpret it." Add Vanilla and everyone agree with her.
"I don't hurt people when they hurt me, because I don't like to believe in revenge. Strength should only be used to protect people and anything precious to you. This world, there is always so much hate in it... the Faunus hate the Humans for hating them, and the Humans hate the Faunus for being different... Humans even hate Humans for being different. We can never move forward if we are stuck in past hate." Naruto whispered as he stared at the water, with his own words ringing in his ears. Blake looked at Naruto for a second, before she closed her eyes as a small smile came to her face again. This was something that she loved about this man, and that was that he was more than willing to bare the weight of the world on his shoulders with no thanks in return.
He was too noble for his own good.
"That is something we all agree on." Said Tsunade making everyone nod in agreement until Kisame speak. "I still think that he is naivety is his greatest flaw."
He was lovable, crazy, perverted, and he was hurting on the inside. She enjoyed the first three of them, but if anything she wanted to fix what was hurting him so deeply. She could see it in his eyes, the eyes of a man that put on a happy mask without even knowing it so that even he himself couldn't see or feel his own pain most of the time. He was bottling everything up without realizing it.
They all agree with her that Naruto was hurting, but they all knew the reason why Naruto was feeling that way and why he hide it from everyone, they also hope that in time his team or someone else would help him overcome it.
"I used to hate humans, and some part of me still does. They push us around, raise prices when we try to buy something, or just don't let us buy anything, and we only get paid a third of what we should when we work... I used to hate them so much that I didn't care what happened to them... what I was doing was wrong though. When I first saw Weiss I wanted to hurt her, because her family is a major reason Faunus and Humans don't get along... some part of me knew that road wouldn't be a good one though." Blake admitted with a glace to the back of the ship at Weiss. She was going to be completely honest with Naruto about some of her deepest secrets, in the hopes that she could gain more of his trust and reveal more to her about himself.
"That is not far away from how people treat jinchurikis before Naruto change their opinions." State Tsunade who was the only one there that have seen the treat that jinchurikis receive before and after Naruto.
"Then you have an idea that how difficult life for a faunus can be, and Blake is only talking about recent times, before Naruto's reincarnation as a toad faunus decide to lead a revolution against humans, before that faunus were treated worse!" said Honey remembering the time that she meet Naruot, when some humans were about to beat her before Naruto rescue her and beat the crap out of them.
"Weiss is a little annoying with her dislike of Faunus... but it isn't like she goes around trying to make our lives harder. I'm glad you let go of most of your hate. You can't judge a race by a few people, and you can't judge a few people by their race. Everyone is different, unique, and most of all... Faunus and Humans... they weight of a life is the same no matter your race." Naruto said with smile on his face, and he was pulled down from the railing by Blake moments later when she looked at Naruto with a strange look to her eyes. The others were distracted at the moment, so they wouldn't see this.
Blake leaned forward and claimed Naruto's lips, with his eyes widening with his cheeks going pink from her soul searing, yet gentle, kiss that she gave him. She surprised Naruto by taking it a little further and using her tongue, before she lifted her leg behind her and closed her eyes when she felt sparks fly in her very soul at kissing somebody that she had feelings for. She knew this was a low blow to Ruby, but she wasn't some idle little girl that was afraid of going for what she wanted. Not when she realized they could die today if things went down the gutter. Naruto's eyes closed for a second, before Blake released him and stepped back with a small blush on her own gracing her pale skin.
Hinata and Honey had a blissful expression since they were remembering the times that Naruto have kiss them while the rest keep quiet but have small smiles. It was Anko who break the silence. "There is no way he could misinterpret that kiss and remain oblivious of this girls intentions! He isn't that big of an idiot, is he?"
Nobody answer immediately, they were all considering it which make Anko groan at the bad sign, but fortunately Gaara answer her. "I'm sure Naruto gets this girls intentions, even I get them and I'm even more emotionally stunt of all the jinchurikis." The explanation Gaara give them seem to calm all down since it make a lot of sense.
She placed a finger against his lips to keep him from saying anything, because she was going to be the one talking right now.
"You don't have to give me an answer now, but I have feelings for you Naruto. These feelings have been growing for months now ever since I met you. If I die today, I don't want to regret never telling you that I've fallen in love with you... I don't love you like a fellow Faunus, or a teammate, or even like family. I love you as a woman who has found a person she wants to take as her own." Blake said as she took Naruto's hand and placed it against her chest, right above her heart, while her other hand reached out and touched his chest so that she could feel just how rapidly his heart was beating inside of his body. She closed her eyes and smiled so that she could enjoy the beat.
'Her heart is beating so fast... the feelings... why is MY heart beating so fast? I'm sure that I'm in love with Ruby... do I have feelings for Blake too?' Naruto questioned himself in surprise, while Blake opened her eyes and stared into his soul.
"Go for the harem Naruto! Make me proud!" Shout Jiraiya letting everyone know how big of a pervert he was, and of course he was beaten by Tsunade, Kushina, Hinata and Honey.
Kisame start to laugh out loud and say, "you know Zabuza seeing Jiraiya been beaten by a lot of women makes up for all shit I have to bear with you bringing me here."
Zabuza along with Haku laugh a bit and he answer. "You are right Kisame, it is worth it!"
Anko whistle and say. "Damn who would have thought that the brat have it in him to be such a big player!"
This cause that everyone turn to see her and the women stop beating Jiraiya, she look at all of them and said. "What he obviously have done something to get the attention of so many girls, being intentional or not, so he can be consider a player, at least until he makes a decision and becomes monogamous, although it would be surprising if he decides to date several girls at the same time!"
They think over what Anko have said and have to agree with her, Naruto in his good Nature have make several girls fall for him without noticing it, talking about being charming without trying. But at least they were sure that Naruto would settle with one girl only and would never be unfaith, everyone except Jiraiya, Minato, and surprisingly Anko, who would like to see Naruto surround with many beautiful girls.
"Our hearts beat as one. When your sad, I want to hold you and cry with you. When your happy, I can't help but smile. Being around you makes my heart beat faster, and in a good way... I hope a day will come that you can tell me everything about you." Blake spoke in a soft whisper, while Naruto looked down at her.
"Blake... I don't know what to say..." Naruto said sadly, knowing you were going to break somebodies heart was never a good thing.
"Heh, you don't need to say anything. Even if you love somebody else right now, I will just work to make you love me more. Just wait for the day that my love takes your breath away... that day might be sooner than you think." Blake said as she unwrapped herself from him and started to walk away towards the other girls with one last glance with her yellow eyes back into Naruto's blue ones. She winked at him, before she turned and started to walk back towards the others again.
Everyone was having different thoughts about what they have seen, Honey and Hinata were a little concern about Naruto having to choose a girl, Vanilla and Himawari were just happy that their father was receiving so much love and didn't care whit whom he will end, Jiraiya Anko and Minato were cheering for a harem and to see some cat fights in the near future, and the rest were just thinking how much troubles awaits for Naruto in the future.
'Girls... why do they have to be so... confusing.' Naruto thought as he touched his fingers to his lips, and he could still taste a slight sweet and sour lemony taste from the kiss.
"That is something bros all around the world have been asking but leaving them all curled!" rap Killer B who receive a nod from all the men and a glare from the women.
He would have thought she would taste like tuna, but she had a lemonish taste to her lips. Naruto leaned up against the railing again and his elbows kept him propped up so that his slightly shaking legs didn't have to be the only things holding him up.
Now he was questioning his feelings for Ruby, and if he had feeling for Blake as well.
"He is questioning his feelings after just one kiss? This isn't good!" Exclaim Kushina worried about his son.
"He is having doubts since with his memories he hasn't had too much experience in matters of love." Answer Gaara.
"I'm more concern with how Naruto is going to deal with several girls confessing to him, he is too caring and loving to choose one girl and break the heart of the other girls!" said Hinata who was dreading what this would do to Naruto's mental health.
This revitalize Jiraiya and said. "Then there is only one thing that he can do that would make everyone happy, he needs to create his own harem!"
Tsunade and company were going to beat the crap out of him but stop when Honey speak. "While Jiraiya just say that because he is a big pervert, this could actually be the best solution for Naruto's situation."
Everyone look at her as if she had grown a second head and were expecting an answer so she continued to talk. "Think about this, the girls that want to be with Naruto seem to be so determinate to win his heart that they would do almost anything, also as Hinata say Naruto would not be able to choose only one of them, which would end in him and all the girls hurting, so him having an harem seem the best solution."
Everyone stay silent thinking about what Honey have said and see that she did have a point, and that a harem was the only way everyone would be happy, if the girls agree to share Naruto, which at the moment was too early to tell, also Jiraiya and Anko were widely grinning at the idea of Naruto having an harem.
He was knocked out of his thoughts when the entire boat was shaken, and the girls all ran towards him when he was knocked off balance. He turned around and looked towards the water just as the girls got back to him. Naruto started to sweat when he saw something starting to come out of the water.
Something huge, bigger than the boat even.
"Naruto... that doesn't look like you at all right now." Yang managed to saw when bone white armor started to come from the depths of the ocean. The armor was taking the form of a spiked white turtle shell, and three giant, black, white armor covered shrimp tails were connected to the shell as they raised out of the water. Naruto was sweating when he saw spiked up bone armor replacing hair, with black skin showing with a single glowing red eye on the left side, and a bone jaw on the lower half of its face. Two huge arms, each as big as the boat, came out of the water and showed the tops of these black arms were covered in bone armor as well.
"If someone had any doubt that this creatures were the biju there is the definitive proof that they really are." Said Minato.
"I want to see Mr. eight and his new fate!" Shout Killer B and Gaara nod since he was also curious of what Shukaku was doing right now.
Kisame start to laugh and with a maniacal grin he said. "He sees more powerful than before! I wish I could fight Isobu right now!"
"Kisame, next time keep those comments to yourself." Said Zabuza while glaring him.
"... What does three tails mean, because that can't be good?" Ruby asked nervously as the giant Grimm rose completely out the water and showed that it had no back legs... sticking out of the top of the shell was a black humanoid torso that looked like a Grimm version of Naruto's torso with glowing red eyes, though it seemed tiny in comparison to the main body of the Grimm in front of them.
"Hey Isobu! It's me, your buddy Naruto! Remember me?! You ate me once, and I gave you a horrible stomach ache... we also became friends remember! Give me a fist bump!" Naruto shouted as he leaned over the railing and extended his ball up fist towards Isobu, who growled lightly as he looked towards the ship. Weiss was slapping Naruto in the back of the head over and over again, before she noticed this 'Isobu' extend his fist while the others watched with stupid expressions at the bro fist in front of them.
When the fists touched, they sighed in relief... before Isobu opened up it hand and grabbed them all and brought them to his mouth and tossed him all inside.
"I blame you!" Yang shouted at Naruto, who was using all of his strength to keep the jaws open, though his entire body was scrunched up so tightly that not even one of them could fit through the gaps between the teeth. Naruto's eye was twitching, before Isobu spat Naruto back onto the boat and closed his mouth, before he went below the water and started to swim down. Naruto jumped off of the boat, before he landed in the water and started to swim down as far as he could, before he lost his breath and lost Isobu as he was forced to swim back up or risk drowning.
"I didn't see that coming!" Said Anko surprise by how fast the situation have deteriorate.
"None of us did Anko." Answer Itachi in his calm voice, although he was wondering what had happen.
"Isobu doesn't act like this, he must have a good reason for eating the girls." State Gaara trying to analyze the situation.
"I hope so, or I will give Isobu a not so pleasant visit!" threatened Kushina who was surrounded by a dark aura and having her hair float, making everyone take a step back in fear, including Minato.
Naruto gasped for breath as he reached air, before he gained a confused look when he looked back at the water.
Did Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang just get eaten, while Naruto got spat back out like bad meat? Because if that did just happened, Naruto had no clue what was going on. Naruto felt Isobu's voice ring out through the water moments later.
Trust me.
Naruto blinked, before he sighed and started to swim towards the boat. If Isobu wanted him to trust him, then he would trust him.
What choice did he have?
"Well at least we know that Isobu has a plan." Said Minato trying to calm down his wife.
Kushina calm down a bit, at least enough for everyone to stop being afraid of her, to the point that Himawari got to ask, "But what is Isobu trying to accomplish by eating Tou-san's team mates?"
Nobody answer her immediately since they weren't sure, until Haku notice that the screen have change from Naruto to the girls of team RUWBY. "I think we are going to find that out soon." Everyone turn to see the screen not sure what to expect.
