"Master Kili. How did you come to know Thranduil? It is uncommon for a Dwarf to be around these parts." Elrond spoke gently as he walked alongside Kili. "Especially a Durin. I would expect you to hate his very essence."

"Just Kili's fine. I was returning to Erebor and met Thranduil when I was traveling. He offered hospitality and I accepted. Besides, I cannot let Thorin rule what I think. I need to make my own judgments without him." He explained, passing his own chambers

"I'm surprised at your...understanding. You don't seem much like Thorin." He remarked, knotting his hands behind his back and furrowing his brow. "Unusual for Thranduil to offer any hospitality, he hates visitors..."

"Thanks.. I think. I hope I'm not." He said quietly. "Is it? He offered me food. I don't know why, I did insult him before he did." he said, shrugging his shoulders.

Elrond hummed thoughtfully. "He must have seen something in you." His face dropped a little, before he smiled gently and looked to the floor with the realisation. "Be careful with him, alright? He's been through a lot." He said softly.

"I- Yes. I think that he'll be alright though." Kili said quietly, looking up at Elrond. "I.. I hope he's happy." he murmured, looking straight down the corridor.

"I'm sure he will. He's an extremely strong person. One of the strongest men I know. But we do worry about him. He can be a little...sadistic at times. We need to keep an eye on him." He chuckled fondly, noting the young Dwarf's anxiety and resting a hand on Kili's shoulder. "I'm sure he's very happy."

"I noticed." Kili muttered. Threatening to kill roäc. I still haven't sulked about that yet... must get around to that. Kili smiled up at Elrond before turning down the corridor with the Extravagant doors, with one for it's cargo a elven king. Pulling out his keys, Kili unlocked the door, briefly holding it open for the elf lord and walked over to where he left the seat the night before. He poured away the glass of water and filled it up again with water from his own canteen that was sat on his belt. He placed it back onto the side table and sat down on the chair and picked up Thranduil's hand and held it gently.

"Pretty open about your feelings in front of a stranger..." Elrond said with a smile, hovering over the bed and making calculations. "He's been out for a day, almost two. Two more to go. Judging by the depth of his slumber, he's been given 'Losto' - The purple gloop that Elrindir smothered all over his face. No permanent scarring, nor mental damage from what I can tell. He's moved a bit..." Elrond took a moment to breath and take in the rather amusing image of Thranduil sprawled out like a starfish. "The magic may work a little faster than usual. I can smell it from here. I could say a few spells, but most of the enchantments I know would probably counteract the Losto and send him into a slumber that could last for years." He finished with a frown.

"I have met you before. Besides, you had already guessed, right?" He sighed, looking over at the king's position and smiled softly. "That's right. Foul smelling stuff, looks like it would walk away on its own given half the chance. Apparently the stuff had gone off. I don't know if that's good or bad, but you can still smell the stuff now." the dwarf frowned, covering the king's hand partially with his other hand. "I'd prefer it if you didn't do that thanks. Anything that would help though."

"You seem to miss him enough." Elrond observed, smiling fondly at the Dwarf's love of the Elf. "It is gone off. It's a mixture of ivy and the stuff Radagast smokes." He chuckled and hovered closer over the Elvenking. He began muttering an enchantment, causing Thranduil to mumble in his sleep. Some vaguely coherent babble, 'No, not the gravy...' and 'I need them to see.' springing to mind. As Elrond managed somehow not to crack a chuckle, he switched to another enchantment. This received a sweet, soft smile from the king before he whispered 'Amin mela lle' and nothing else through the rest of Elrond's work.

Kili hummed his agreement and smirked at the elvenking's babble. "The stuff radagast smokes is just nasty. It's worse than Gandalf's and that's saying something." He chuckled, smiling up at the elf lord. "Amin mela lle? What does that mean?" He asked, looking back down at the king. "How long will he be out for now?"

"It means I love you." Elrond said with a smirk. "Eru only knows what's going through his mind. He may awake tomorrow. He /may/. Open wounds is more my forté." He nodded gently and continued to gaze down at the Elvenking, muttering something else Elvish. "I'm sorry that there's nothing more I can do." He said a little solemnly.

Kili blushed and chuckled at the elf's words while wondering just what the king was dreaming of. "Thank you, for everything you've been able to do for him. It all helps, right." He thanked him, squeezing his lover's hand and placed it back on the bed gently before standing up off of the chair.

"No problem. I doubt it's done much." He said with a frown. "How did he even manage this?" He chuckled, patting Thranduil's hand and making his way toward the door. "You'd never hear this of a valley Elf."

"We... Uh... Had a bit of an argument. He walked off to clear his head and the spiders found him before I did. When I did find him, he was wrapped up and strung from a tree. Bilbo, he's the hobbit who was with us when we uh stayed with you, taught me about attercop, which I used and chucked a few knives at them. I dragged Thranduil back to the palace and he got taken straight to Elrindir." He explained, walking out of the door and locking it behind him.

"You dragged that lump back to the palace?" Elrond raised his brow and smiled. "I'm impressed. At your valour as well. I don't know how to deal with spiders. The worst we get in Imladris is a few wolves."

"It wasn't that bad. I kinda shouted at him for a while but just talked for the rest of it. He said he could hear me when we were talking after Elrindir put some orange stuff on his face which took away some of the paralysis." He said as they started down the corridor. "I threw a knife at their eyes from half way up a tree and then finished them off when they were on the floor. At least you don't have wargs."

Elrond cracked a smile and followed after Kili. "Wargs are just...misunderstood." He chuckled, knotting his hands behind his back again. "Just happy little balls of fluff if you train them right. I used to have a pet Warg." Jumping from thought to thought, the Elf-lord stopped in his tracks as his ears picked up on something, before he shook his head and smiled. "Thranduil's still talking."

"Psychotic little balls of fluff." Kili muttered, frowning slightly as he remembered azog and his band of merry psychopaths. "Oh? What's he saying?" He asked with a smirk.

"Something about you...it's pretty messy and muffled. He also seems to be trying to save the gravy? Oh, no. He's moved on to salty lembas now." Elrond laughed as he strained his ears to the King's babble. "He's a funny one."

"I'll see if he remembers what the dream was about when he wakes up." He chuckled, stopping outside Falaroy's room and opened the door to see Fili and Falaroy sat on the floor. "You seen Legolas anywhere?"

"He's off planning the greeting banquet for Elrond tonight." Fili shrugged, smiling as Falaroy tugged at his hair gently. Elrond nodded to Kili and took his leave, sweeping down the coridoor. Fili then began unclasping his braids, leaving his thick mane of golden hair free for Falaroy to plait.

Kili lent out of the door and shouted down the corridor. "Elrond, thank you again." He smiled as Elrond nodded and turned the corner. Kili turned back around to look at his brother and his ward, smiling softly at the two.

Fili leaned against the foot of the bed and Falaroy moved to sit on it, just in front of Fili's head. He picked up a huge clump of flaxen hair and began his work crudely. "You have lots of hair. Even more than my Ada's." Falaroy said with amazement.

"Thank you." Fili chuckled. "Though I hear his falls down to his bottom, so I doubt that. Does he have nice hair, Ki'?" He asked curiously.

"Very." He smiled, walking to the bed to sit next to his brother and grabbing a little bit of his hair and began to braid it for him. "Same colour as Falaroy's but much longer." He said, finishing his braid and took a clasp from his pocket that roäc had nicked.

"I hear it's a lot longer than other Elves." Fili sniffed and wiped his nose with his sleeve. "I've heard a lot about him, I guess. Good and bad. I'm pretty excited to meet him." He smiled as Falaroy grew bored and jumped down onto Fili's lap.

"He's real nice!" The boy exclaimed.

"It is. Elrond says there's a possibility that he'll wake up tomorrow, but he's not too sure." He smiled, leaning back against the bed. "Most of the paralysis is gone now anyway." he said, remembering Thranduil's position when they walked into his room.

"That's good. Otherwise it'll be...the day after tomorrow, right?" He said thoughtfully, bringing his arms around Falaroy. "I hope he doesn't begrudge me."

"Why would he do that? He hasn't really had any contact with you, has he?" Kili asked, furrowing his brows. "I mean he hasn't even met you as far as I know."

Fili hummed thoughtfully, penning a response before shrugging. "I don't know...maybe because I'm a Durin. I mean, obviously he likes you...but maybe he thinks I'm more like Thorin..." He trailed off as Falaroy frowned.

"I doubt it. He doesn't really like Thorin, and I can see why exactly that is, but I think he'll like you." He smiled, pulling on falaroy's braid gently to get him to laugh. "I mean he likes me and I'm ten times worse than you when I can be bothered."

Fili shrugged and smiled. "I guess so. Though you're not all bad." He ruffled Kili's chocolate brown hair fondly as Falaroy chortled. "Hey, neither of our parents ever had dark hair. Where do you get it from?" He asked curiously.

"Grandparents probably. Thorin has brown hair, so I guess that's where it's from." He said, putting his head forward as fili ruffled his hair.

"Yeah. Strange though." Fili mused, smiling as Falaroy played with his moustache.

"Unca Fee? How do you keep those braids on your face?" The Elfling asked curiously, crumpling up his face.

"It's a moustache." Fili laughed. "It's attached to my face. I grew it." Falaroy quirked a brow.

"You grew it? It's stuck?"

"Yeah."

"Ew."

Kili laughed at the affronted look on Fili's face as Falaroy screwed up his own in disgust. "I'll have a beard and a moustache soon." He chuckled, pulling down on one side of his brother's moustache.

"Not you too 'Li! Ada won't like it! It's weird!" Falaroy said adamantly, pouting and causing Fili to laugh. "I don't know anyone else with hair on their faces. Not mr. Elrindir, not Mr. Elrond, and not my Ada." He huffed, folding his arms and plonking himself down completely on Fili's lap, adding a mutter of "Hairy faces. Silly."

Kili crossed his arms and frowned. He's going to have to learn to like it. he thought, leaning back against the bed. "Having a beard is good. Shows you're respectable. Just because elves can't grow them. Humph."

"Well, I don't like them. They're silly." Falaroy turned his back, eyeing up the toys in the corner and walking over to pick up the teddybear that Thranduil had gave him on the first day. He hugged it by the neck and went to sit in front of the two.

"I do. I rather like the look of them." He muttered, tilting his head at the elfling as he sat down. I need to stop doing that. I'm imitating Thranduil now. he thought, straightening his head again quickly.

Falaroy found himself tilting his head as well, leaving Fili momentarily out. Fili just raised an eyebrow. "You have so many cool toys over there. Why that tattered old thing?" He asked gently, watching as the Elfling defensively clung to the teddy.

"Thranduil gave you that, didn't he? That first night after you... rearranged his room. It was Legolas' right?" He asked, watching as the Elfling nodded his head, clinging even harder to the toy. "We're not going to take it off of you Falaroy, trust me yeah?"

"I'm sorry, little man. I was just wondering. I still have a blanket that our Mum gave me when I was small." Fili said softly, realising that he had offended the Elfling and gently poking him on the nose.

Falaroy smiled again at Fili, releasing his grip slightly on the teddy. "Do you know where you're sleeping tonight Fee?" He asked, turning to look at the other dwarf.

"No idea. I'll camp if I have to. It's not right me coming here without much notice and then expecting a room." He shrugged nonchalantly.

"You're not camping. You can stay in my room until further notice." he said firmly, almost daring him to challenge him.

"Woah, who crapped in your pie? You've been moody today." Fili said with a smiled and a raised brow, raising his hands up in surrender. "I'll sleep in your room."

"I'm not moody, just a little high strung..." he mumbled, wrapping his arms around himself. "Good. Have you seen the size of the furniture though? Seriously, bombur could fit into my bed five times over"

"What's up little bro?" Fili asked solemnly, placing a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Bombur would sooner crush the beds five times over than sit in them." He chuckled softly.

"The company coming to the palace for a party which is held by elves, Thranduil asleep, Elrond's party arriving, just everything." he sighed. "Still. The right size for it." He chuckled.

Fili squeezed Kili's hand gently and smiled. "If Thorin acts up, everyone but Bilbo will welcome his commupence. Perhaps even Bilbo will. Your boyfriend dearest will be awake in a day or two, I'll help you through this...what about Elrond's company?"

"Bilbo would probably kill Thorin himself. Hobbits do seem to like elves." He smiled, blushing at Fili's remark about Thranduil. "So many more elves and we didn't exactly part on good terms, did we?" Kili chuckled.

"Elrond seems to like you. And hey, if his kin don't, screw 'em. They can't exactly speak up about it now, can they?" Fili said cheekily, leaning back against the headboard and stretching his legs out as Falaroy held his arms out to Kili.

"You have a fair argument there." Kili chuckled, picking up Falaroy and placing him in his lap, wrapping his arms around him.

" 'Xactly." Was all Fili said, grinning broadly and looking down at the two. "You're turning into a regular Mother." He said with a chuckle as Legolas swept in through the open door.

Kili flipped his brother off as Falaroy looked over to his brother. "Legolas, what can we do for you?" he asked, looking up at the elf with a smile.

Legolas smiled back cheerfully and took a moment to think. "The banquet's been planned. It's at dusk." He said with a smile, hanging by the doorframe. "Legless!" Falaroy yelled happily.

"I look forward to it." Kili smiled, moving his arms so the elfling could go and hug Legolas. "Where will it be held?" he asked, "I mean I've only ever ate in the kitchens"

"The great hall." Legolas quirked a brow and shrugged, swinging the Elfling by his arms and making him chortle.

"Uh.. Where's that?" He asked sheepishly, putting a hand behind his head before moving to get up.

"Just right of the throne room." He said with a smile. "It's okay to get lost, Kili. Just like it's okay to zone out when people are talking to you."

"You're reassuring yourself there." He remarked, before smiling. "Thank you, I can get to the throne room, we'll be alright."

"Okay, if you're sure. And I know. It's all I can do." He put on a look of mock despair that made Falaroy chortle. "I'm a terrible burden on my Father..."

Kili rolled his eyes and sat down on the bed. "Come on drama prince, don't you have rooms to sort out or something?"

"All done. Ada told me what to do a few days ago." Legolas said with a satisfied smirk. "Leggles, do I have to dress up nice?" Falaroy asked with a scowl. The Elvenprince darted his tongue out disgustedly as he replied with "Yeah. I have to as well."

"I brought my own." Fili said, looking over at the two elves. "I thought about this beforehand." He chuckled.

"This might be a problem." Kili muttered, looking down at his clothes.

"We'll have some made for you. See Amdír. He usually hangs out in the library. He's a tailor. Pretty nice as well." Legolas smiled as Falaroy took his hand. "You coming with me, mister?" He said with a chuckle as the Elfling nodded. "You might want to go down now though. You only have around 5 hours." He nodded his goodbye to the both and left his spot with the Elfling in tow.

"Right.. Okay. Fili, you coming with me?" He asked, looking over at the blond haired dwarf that was sprawled on the floor. "To the library? You have got to be joking. No, I'll go sit in your room and sleep for a bit before the banquet. I didn't sleep all that well last night." Fili said, lazily getting to his feet. "Lazy git. Fine. Come on then." He said, leading fili through the corridors to his room and then made his way to the Library.

Amdír had just worked up the courage to finally asked Míriel out. He was stuttering a little and growing flustered as the Elleth stood in front of him with a quirked brow.

"Ammie, you're never like this. What's wrong?" She smiled gently.

"Well, I was wondering..."

"So you've said about seven times." She chuckled gently.

Amdír blushed and looked to the floor, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, I was. I was wondering if -"

"Amdír!" Kili yelled his name as he swept into the library.

The Elf physically deflated and just banged his head on the desk. "You know what, forget it."

"Amdír, brilliant. I've got an absolutely massive favour to ask of you." He said, running over to him. "I've been told you are a tailor and- Amdír? What's up?" He asked, looking between the two elves, one shrugging and the other groaning into the table. Oh shit. Well done Kili. Idiot.

"I...ugh." He managed, before lifting his head. "Míriel, do you want to go out, sometime...with me...somewhere?" He lost confidence after the initial question, voice wavering, and he put his head back on the desk and groaned. "What? What's the favour?"

Míriel looked over at the other elf, her cheeks reddening. "I.. uh.. Yes." She stuttered disbelievingly. "Shall I uh talk to you at the banquet about it?" She asked with a shy smile. When Amdír nodded, she waved goodbye to the two and walked back over to her desk and buried her face in a book so no one could see her.

"Congratulations." Kili smiled. "Now you're a tailor right. How long would it take for you to make a doublet and hose for someone of my size?"

Amdír grinned very widely, the persistent blush refusing to fade. "About three hours if I worked my hardest. I'll need to measure you. Velvet would work best. What colour?" He jumped from thought to thought, examining Kili.

"I uh perhaps blue?" He said, slightly off guard. "Yeah blue would be good. Right." He said, feeling suddenly self-conscious.

"Dark or light? You seem uncomfortable. You won't have to be naked, if that's what you're worried about." He said with a chuckle, moving from the desk and gesturing for Kili to follow him to his office, which conveniently was directly opposite the library - perfect for sneaky glances at Míriel when he thought she wasn't looking.

"Dark. Sorry, the tailors at Erebor make you stand there for about half an hour, stark naked while they fuss about you. Salmar is a wonderful tailor, but a procrastinator and a time waster at best." He muttered, following the elf through the corridor.

"Dark. Hmm...you have good taste." Amdír said with a smile, closing the door behind him before drifting over to his desk for his tape measure. He moved Kili's arms up so he could get a measurement of his torso, and made a quick scribbling on a piece of paper before collecting others.

"Thank you." Kili chuckled, trying to stay as still as possible. "So, finally worked up the courage to ask her out? Where you going to take her?" he asked with a smile, noting how Amdír's own got wider as he mentioned Míriel.

Amdír's face clouded with fear and panic, paling as he wrote down the arm measurements. "Oh no. I have to take her somewhere. Shit. I was surprised enough that she said yes. I didn't think. There's nowhere in Mirkwood, and she's so pretty..." He ranted, moving the a book to cushion his head as he rested it on the desk. "Oh no."

"You'll be fine." Kili smiled, patting the tailor's arm. "Of course she said yes. Even I can see that she likes you, and I'm oblivious to almost everything in that area." he chuckled. "What about Lake town? There must be somewhere there, and it's not that far if you take the shortest route there on horseback. You could stay for the night." he smirked, watching Amdír's face redden.

"You managed to catch Thranduil's eye, you can't be that oblivious. Most people in the kingdom have been trying to do that for centuries. Especially this one group of girls, always in the square. They pool their pants every time he bats an eyelash." Amdír chuckled, reaching for a big pile of deep blue velvet and composing himself. "Laketown. Good idea. I'll take her to a really nice inn I know."

"Please. I acted on my own impulse and ran away. If anything, I thought he was going to throw me to some orcs or something." He chuckled, placing a precariously stacked pile of books off of a chair and onto the floor so he could sit down. "I've met them. Idiots. I fully intend to kiss him in front of them just to watch their reactions." He said evilly.

"You really should do it. They'll be at the party, they stalk his every move, I hate them." He pinned the fabric and prepared the needle and thread. "No matter what you say to them, it ends in 'King Thranduil is perfect.' And don't make it a poxy peck, full on kiss him. Break their hearts." Amdír donned the same shit-eating grin as his companion.

"Oh I intend to." Kili chuckled. "They stat and watched him for a good half an hour while Falaroy was playing. One even interrupted our conversation to flirt with him." he scowled, folding his arms with a huff. "Then she went back and giggled with her friends. I sat and flipped them off."

"Bastards." Amdír muttered as he stabbed himself with the needle and cursed. "I take it he didn't flirt back then?" He asked casually, continuing his work swiftly and expertly.

"No." He grinned. "I think he was oblivious for most of it. It was rather hard not to see it though, they were basically a new shade of pink with every syllable." He muttered, picking at a thread on his shirt.

"No, Thranduil knows how to deal with admirers by now. He plays oblivious to make it easier." He chuckled, stretching out the velvet and doubling over his stitching. "It's not just them, I've noticed. It's everyone. It's like he's some kind of super Elf of major beauty."

"Seriously? Not that I'm complaining because have you seen him, but really?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "I mean, there must be others, or is it because of his position in power? He hasn't even got a beard..."

Amdír chuckled heartily at this and lay the completed arm on the desk, moving to start the other one. "Beards are of no importance here. If anything, they're considered unsightly. Hair is a sign of power. Let's go down the list, shall we? The longest hair in Mirkwood? check. An authoritative yet approachable demeanour? Check. Looks? Check. Power? He's the Valar damned King. There are others. Some would rather Legolas, or members of the council, but more often or not, it's Thranduil. Not to mention he's like - a thousand feet tall. And his eyes are out of this world."

"Yes, funnily enough I did notice that I only just reach the bottom of his chest." Kili muttered, running his hand over his chin for any sign of hair subconsciously. "I'm with you on his eyes though. They'd freeze you given half the chance, they're so blue." He sighed, leaning back into his chair.

"Yeah. It's eerily beautiful. Wish I looked like that." He said wistfully, moving at a faster pace than before. "Try the arm for me, would you?" He asked, breaking the silence.

"Sure." Kili said, picking up the arm of the doublet and pulled it on gently. "That's fine." He smiled, giving it back to the tailor and lent back in the chair.

"What I like to hear." He said with a smile, finishing up the other arm and starting on the doublet. He pinned and cut where he needed to, adding elaborate stitching and gatherings here and there to create certain effects. "So how did you manage to grow to love him? If you don't mind me asking." He said over a good few moments of silence.

"I don't really know. It didn't take that long, did it?" He chuckled. "I knew I loved him when I kissed him after he told me that he was lonely. Idiot elf. It kinda hit me all at once. The fact I knew that I was crushing on him anyway helped though." He said softly.

"Idiot Elf? A bit harsh, don't you think?" The tailor chuckled. "He was lonely. We all saw it." He continued to sew the doublet, making it so it would lace up at the front. "How did it feel, the kiss? Your stomach churn? Any butterflies?" He teased, smiling gently and starting on the intricate silver embroidery on the cuffs.

"In light of recent events, no. Not at all." He smirked, crossing his legs. "How did it feel when you kissed Míriel the other day?" he asked, watching Amdír's face fall. "Oh please. I could still see, emotional wreck or not." He laughed, admiring the elf's work.

"I just reveled in the closeness." Was all he said as he continued to embroider. Within around five more minutes he was half way through the second cuff. "I hope I don't mess it up with her."

"I'm sure you won't. Just be yourself." He smiled, flicking through a book that was on top of the leaning tower of paper to the side of him. "If you can't do that, what can you do?"

Amdír scoffed and broke off the thread, setting both completed sleeves to the side. "I can sure you that if I just 'be myself' it will certainly result in humiliation, embarrassment, fire, tears, collisions, explosions, nudity and death. I am not the smoothest of all personalities. He threaded the needle with the same thread as before and furiously set to work with his head down and a blush.

"Then who have you been speaking to her as for the last few years then?" He asked, closing the book and reaching for another. "And there must be a story behind each of those. Do tell." He laughed.

"A bumbling fool who some how managed to embarrass himself every time she laid eyes on him." Amdír muttered, working on the patterns next to the opening. "I'd rather not. We'd be here for centuries."

"I'm considering throwing this book at you, I really am. You are definitely not a bumbling fool, and you have managed to speak and hold a conversation with her much more than once in your life. Now, get on the ship at the docks of self loathing and have some faith in yourself." he said, turning the page. "I might just throw it at you anyway. You seriously read this stuff?"

"Hey, last I checked, you came here to get an outfit, not bash me down for my low self esteem. Surely you've lacked faith in yourself. Surely there's been a point with Thranduil when you thought that there wasn't an inkling of hope that he felt the same. Now leave me alone and drop the subject." He mumbled darkly, feeling genuinely offended. He checked over his work and added final touches. "And I like it."

"I'm bashing you up, not down. Your confidence needs to be knocked up a few pegs. Yes, Yes there was. And it took him to get me out of it so I'll leave it to her to do the same. Besides, I really don't think you're a bumbling fool, and neither would she otherwise she wouldn't have said yes." He told him, putting the book aside and picked up the next and pulled a face.

Amdír huffed and turned the doublet inside out and then one of the sleeves. He gathered the shoulder of the sleeve to create a small puff effect and began to attach it to the body. "Well, yeah." Was all he could argue sulkily, weaving the needle expertly through each bit of material. Once he had finished attaching both arms, he turned it the right way round and folded it gently, handing it to the Dwarf and smiling without making eye contact. "It's not much...but..."

"It's beautiful! Thank you a thousand times Amdír!" he smiled, putting it on carefully and laced up the front with a grin, then held up the cuffs to inspect the embroidery. "How much longer do you think for a pair of hoes? Or will the ones I have on already do?" he asked, trying to match up the material in vein.

"Yes. Black goes with absolutely everything." Amdír beamed. "You look dashing. I'm sure Thranduil would be very impressed." He laughed softly before slumping on the chair. "I don't know what I'll wear though..."

"Thank you, That means a lot." He smiled, sitting back down again. "Surely you have something stored away.." he asked, looking around the cluttered workshop.

"I'm glad." He said with a soft smile. "I do. I think it's a dark green..."

"I'm sure it will look fantastic." he smiled, leaning his head back against the wall. "What actually happens at these banquets then?" he asked, looking over at the rolls of linen, wool, velvet and more that was propped up against the wall.

"Thank you." The tailor blushed, smiling bashfully. "You eat, drink, make jest, play music. It's a party at a table." He shrugged nonchalantly. "One that we don't really have a lot of time to prepare for."

"I should really go make sure Thranduil's okay before the banquet, otherwise I won't be able to do anything until tomorrow." He said, getting up off of the seat. "Thank you again. I owe you big time."

Amdír quirked a brow. "But...he's asleep...No, I'd probably do the same." He cut himself off. "It's nice to be concerned. And you owe me nothing, Kili. Mates rates." He chucked.

"Well then, if you need anything at all, just ask, okay?" he smiled, walking towards the door. "I'll see you at the banquet Amdír, and don't forget, Lake town." He grinned, before walking out of the door and off towards Thranduil's room.

"I'll be sure to remember." He said with a smile, nodding his goodbye. "How could I forget? I have a date to cock up there." He muttered the last part under his breath when the Dwarf was long gone, moving to the old dresser at the far back of the cluttered room.

-oOo-

Heh, hello.
Happy new year?
No? Not cutting it?
It was worth a try. I have nothing to say for myself for how long you've been waiting for this.

I'll update again as soon as I can. This is likely to be tomorrow with any luck.

Thanks for waiting and reading,

Tanith and Tam
