Fletch and Sam had both changed from they're scrubs into they're normal clothes and they left the ED. "Where do you want to go for this something to eat?" Fletch asked and Sam gave a shrug of the shoulders "Fletch to be honest with you. I'm not really that hungry so I think I'm just going to head home but thanks for covering my shift I'll make it up to you" Sam said but Fletch shook his head "no Sam you're going to have something to eat and no buts." Fletch said and Sam raised an eyebrow "Someone's put you up to this haven't they fletch?" Sam exclaimed and Fletch quickly shook his head "no one's put me up to anything please Sam I will feel better once I see you eat something" Fletch pleaded and eventually Sam gave in "Fine but that doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy the meal " Sam said and Fletch nodded "that I am happy with" he said and Sam shrugged.

They headed down the street from the ED and they chose to go the café which was just around the corner, "Ladies first" Fletch said as he opened the door for Sam who walked in first and Fletch followed suit behind her. Sam went to find a table for them to sit at and Fletch soon followed as he took off his jacket and he sat down opposite Sam at the table. Sam picked up the menu from the side and began to see what she wanted.

Meanwhile across town Tom Kent had just let himself back into the house that he shared with Sam and he noticed that things had changed the photos in the hall way had been replaced that once held photos of them on they're wedding day. Were now of Sam and the kids on they're own.

Hearing a disturbance downstairs Ollie left his bedroom and he came down the stairs where he came face to face with Tom. "you've got some nerve showing your ugly face here" Ollie said looking at Tom with disgust.

"Ollie –" Tom protested

"no Tom. I've had it with you. You and Sam are supposed to be looking out for us and be my adoptive parents but you've been gone for weeks on end and I aint having it anymore and I wont be surprised if Sam throws you out when she comes home from work " Ollie said standing his ground.

"I just want to speak to Sam" Tom said honestly but Ollie shook his head. "You've no right to speak to Sam after what you've done. I've been the man of this house while you did you're disappearing act" Ollie exclaimed angrily disgusted that Tom had the nerve to show his face.

"I just want to speak to Sam then I will leave okay?" Tom said before adding "I know I haven't been a very good husband to Sam lately but I've come back now and I want to put it right for you and for Sam" Tom said and Ollie shook his head "we're better off without you" Ollie said and he showed Tom the door. Ollie frankly didn't care if Tom didn't return.
