Santana waited until she heard the front door close before calling her three year old daughter over. "Audrey, come here baby." The little girl ran over to her Latina mother, falling into her lap, giggling.

Rachel stood just outside of her living room as she listened to her girlfriend of ten years talk to their daughter.

Santana grinned at her baby girl. "I've got a secret, but you can't tell Mommy about it, okay?" Audrey jumped up and down.

"What?" she yelled happily. Rachel narrowed her eyes.

"Yea, what secret?" she asked. Santana looked up and smiled at her girlfriend before gently moving away from their daughter.

"I met this beautiful girl a while back and I think I'm finally gonna ask her to marry me. I mean we already have the cutest baby in the world and I have this ring so..." Santana pulled out a ring and dropped down to one knee. "Will you marry me?" she asked. Rachel stared at the woman.

"So you're telling me that you decided to propose to me while your hair is in a ponytail-"

"Hey! I straightened it first!" Santana said, smiling. Rachel held up a hand.

"And you're wearing sweats?" she finished.

"A very expensive Nike sweat suit that you bought me, my dear." Santana replied. Rachel nodded.

"It's the perfect proposal." she whispered. Santana grinned. "Like you said we are in the presence of the cutest baby in the world, I've got my favorite person ever down on one knee and holding out a ring, asking me to marry her, and I think I just might say yes." she said, bending down and kissing the Latina.

"Is that a yes?" Santana asked. Rachel grinned and nodded. Santana stood up and put the ring on before kissing her fiancée. "Baby girl, Mommy said yes!" she said. Audrey ran over and latched onto Rachel's leg.

"Mommy up!" Rachel was too busy staring at the ring on her hand to notice, so Audrey went to Santana. "Mama up?" she said a lot softer than she had before.

"Of course baby." she said, picking the girl up.

"Why Mommy no pick up?" Audrey asked as she put her head on Santana's shoulder. Hearing the word 'Mommy' snapped Rachel out of her daze.

"What?" she asked dumbly.

"Your daughter wants to know why you ignored her." Santana said.

"Oh baby girl I'm so sorry." Rachel said, kissing her daughter's forehead before pulling her family into a hug. "I love you both." she whispered as Santana kissed the side of her head.
