Two weeks had passed since my strange encounter with Charlotte and things were going...well perfectly! My training at the YouTube space was interesting, informative and very rewarding to me, we only had another few days of the training but rumors were spreading that some people would be hired at the end, based on their performance in the past few weeks.

I'd even found time to start making videos for my channel, ignoring the boy's fancy and expensive equipment for my usual set up, which i did because i saw YouTube as a hobby for me whereas it is the boy's job. Saying that, i did give in and let Dan help me film a few videos and show me some much needed editing tips. It's safe to say that things were going well and each morning i woke up to see Dan next to me, i would thank my lucky stars for this second chance.

It was Friday morning and i was on the way to work with Dan, who was going in to have a couple of meetings in the building. We were walking through central London, hand in hand happily weaving our way in and out of the crowds of workers.

"Look at us being a professional couple in London. Really we should be wearing suits and carrying briefcases." I joke, looking up at Dan.

"You know, i'm so proud of you Clara. You found a great opportunity and you love it, not many people can say that." I smile proudly as we arrive at the building and sign in.

"Oh, look here come the love birds!" We turn our heads from the reception desk to see Jack Howard come walking in, i feel my cheeks go red.

"Oh, hiya Jack." Dan greets him, "Thought it might have been you. I'll wait for you and then we can go up to the meeting together." Dan turns to me, "Okay, i'll see you later honey. Have a good day." He gives me a quick peck and i wink at him as i run off to catch the lift.

The morning goes pretty well, we have a guest speaker who could potentially be my new boss if i got offered the job, and we all listen intently, soaking up the information. At lunch, i meet up with Dan and after we eat, he walks me up to the office i'll be working at in the afternoon. As we walk down the corridor, i suddenly stop at a door and pull him inside.

"What are you doing Clara?" He asks, as we enter the main conference room which is filled with chairs and a wall on the far side made of windows, overlooking London. I lead him over to the windows as we look out.

"This is my favourite spot in the whole of London." I tell him and he looks over at me with a puzzled look.

"Because of the view? It is pretty awesome."

"Partly." I say and then i take him over to where there are some tables lined up against the wall. "Mainly, because this is the room where we first met and this is the very spot where we first spoke." I watch as a huge smile breaks out across his face and his eyes light up.

"How could i forget?" He jokes, kissing the top of my head, "I'm pretty sure that i was congratulating you on your fine choice of biscuit." We laugh as we reminisce of our awkward meeting and how i fell down the stairs and had to be looked after my very own Dr. Howell.

"If I went back in time and told myself that in few months time i would be dating you and living in your flat, i would have died of happiness. Imagine if i hadn't been so clumsy and if i had't fallen down the stairs?."

"I know what would have happened." I look up in surprise to see a smug smile on his face. "I would have found you again." He says simply.

"But what about Charlotte? You were with her then."

"Okay, i don't believe ghosts, or silly superstitions but what i do believe in is fate. If we are meant to be together then i think that we would always be. And i'll tell you something Clara, i'm bloody glad that the universe put us together, i couldn't think of anyone else who i would rather spend the rest of my life with."

I look up at him, overwhelmed with the feeling of love and suddenly everything becomes crystal clear in my head, the thoughts that had been hanging around for while come shooting up to the front to my mind. This is the man that i'm going to marry.
