Vigilante Chapter 36 'All's Fun Until the Cake Arrive'
A/N: Yo! I am happy to show you the reception of the wedding, I was playing senren kagura estival versus yesterday so I forgot to upload the new chapter, sorry about that.
"Hey there it is" Ace said as he and Lexi were in the backseat of a limousine, not only the they knew the driver but he was the same one that picked up the Loonatics from the hospital a while back.
"Here ya go" Anthony said as he stopped in front of a large fancy hotel.
"Thanks Anthony" Lexi said as they got out of the limo.
"Anytime" He said as he waved and drove away.
"Ready?" Ace said as they were arm-in-arm.
"Ready" Lexi said as they walked into the lobby.
"Oh Mr and Mrs Bunny, its over there" The receptionist said as she pointed into the general direction.
"Thank you" Ace said as they walked over to the double doors that led to the ballroom.
They opened the doors to hear the crowd say, 'Surprise'.
"Wow, you guys are great at making a party?" Ace said as they were shocked to see how decked out the place was, multitude of tables all around with a large open area in the center with a DJ station. Balloons were everywhere with the large chandeliers hanging around.
"It's not time to eat just yet" Andrea said as she pulled the couple in the middle of the dance floor, "Hit it!"
The Dj was none other than Daniel's youngest granddaughter, the flower girl, Olivia. Even though she was like seven years old, she was using the Dj table like a pro, so no one would question her.
She played a slow song for the couple's first dance.

Ace and Lexi faced each other as Ace placed his hands on her hips and she placed her hands on his shoulders. They stared into each other's eyes as they didn't notice everyone around them, Lexi laid her head onto his chest as they were in harmony with each other.

Zadavia looked over to see the new police commander Brandon Steel, he had a hand out as he wanted a dance. Zadavia smiled as he accepted.

Quinn and Skye were standing on the sidelines, as they were mainly worried on fighting crime and stopping people from taking over the universe, they didn't go and find someone special.
So Michael Rosenberg walked up and asked for a dance.
Quinn smiled as she said, "Sure" She held onto his hand and they danced.
Seth decided to man up and ask Skye, he never felt this way to a girl, she kicked his butt in battle, he knew it sounded morbid but he loved a girl that could fight like him.
He held a hand out as he said, "Would you like to dance ma'am?"
Skye looked him in the eye as she smiled and accepted, "Sure Seth."
Seth smiled as they joined the group.

The song ended as the couples went back to find their seats as both Ace and Lexi grabbed a knife and seen a large cake came rolling up to them. Luckily it stopped a few inches away from them.
"Nice roll" Ace said to whoever said that.
The one who rolled it was both Lucian and Ella, they wanted the cake to be rolled in with style.
"Oh I forgot," Lexi said as she had the bouquet still, "ready people?"
She threw it into the air as the girls tried to grab onto the bouquet.
Luckily it was like a battle for it, it landed into the hands of Quinn, she looked over to see Michael. She smiled as she leaned over and kissed him. Michael didn't expect this as he didn't think she liked him.
They cut into the cake as they both pulled a slice out and fed each other a bite.
The cake was then cut into multiple of pieces for everyone to eat.
Ace walked around the area, chatting with everyone, with majority being 'Congrats' and others being 'Good Luck'.
He walked over to Fred and the brothers, "Hey guys."
"Hey Ace, glad Lexi chose someone like you" Fred said as he accepted Ace into the family.
"So you going to make sure you protect her right?" Matthew said as he and David were always worried if she gets hurt, especially since Devastator.
"That was a slight problem but now we have more backup now, I'm sure we won't be seeing us in the grave or hospital anytime soon" Ace said as he was confident.
Lexi was meeting around until she found Ace hanging with her family, so she decided to see what they were doing, "Hey guys."
"Hey sup sis" Matthew said as he and Lexi high fived along with David hugging his sis.
"We're going to miss you" David said as he was sad that she was married.
"What do you mean, I can always come home for a while you know, our schedule's not torturous anymore" Lexi said as she could do that.
"Oh, my bad" David, but he and Matthew bother bro hugged her again, "It's just you were gone for so long."
"I love you to guys but please let go of me." Lexi said as she was worried about the dress.
"Sorry" they both said as they let go.
"I could say I'm proud of you Lexi" Fred said as he hugged Lexi.
"Thanks, but without the team and Ace, I don't know things would've turned out" Lexi said as she was cuddling next to Ace.
"Aw shucks, you're making me blush" Ace said as he was acting like his great grandfather.
"Aw hello Fred" Daniel said as Fred and Ariana both came back to the Remnants but as spectators now, they didn't want to go back to battle, since they said they're too old.
"Hey Daniel, still making sure that remnants still protect the Loonatics?" Fred said as he and Daniel laughed.
"It's been forever Daniel, how's the family?" Ariana said as she and Fred knew both Daniel and Judith as they were in the same platoon when they first joined.
"Many grew up and joined, as some tied the knot and now I'm a grandpa" Daniel said laughing.
David, Matthew and Ashley looked at the wolves that their parents knew so well, but wondered how they met.
"Hello?" Ashley said as she was stranding next to Lexi.
"Ah hello Ashley, I remember you, the new doctor under Rose right?" Daniel said as he hugged her as a friend.
She wondered how he knew about that, "How?"
"Rose is an agent with us, you can join us, we may need more doctors with us." Judith said as Lexi wondered about her decision.
"I don't know, maybe give me some time to think about that" The young doctor knew the risks after Lexi told them their strategies.
"That's cool, but maybe think about it, once you join, you can get your own set of powers and could work wherever you want." Daniel said as he was serious.
"We'll join" both Matthew and David said as they somehow pulled out their favorite wrenches.
"Ok, since they're joining for our sister, I will to then."
Daniel and Judith didn't think that someone would actually join up, "Ok, we'll bring you to Freleng for training soon."
Cody walked over to see them, "You know, seeing you guys, you can work with me. I work at BMW, designing their cars and build them, care to join."
"Hell yeah" They were excited to hear about the job.
"Hey Ashley" Rose said as she walked up to the group.
"Oh hey" Ashley said as she was happy to see her teacher, "You heard about our decisions?"
"Yeah, but if you have any problems, like hearing this idiots complaining" she was pointing to both Seth and Duck, "just tell me and I can help you."
"HEY" Duck said as Daniel grabbed onto his shoulder and glared, making Duck teleporting away.
"The food's here guys" Lucian said as the chefs were going in with the large buffet.
Once the chefs appeared, they knew that the food will start arriving. So everyone all sat on the seats in front of the fancy tables as the plates were handed to everyone present.
So for the first few minutes, everyone was silent as they were enjoying the food.
Duck waited until he chooses a random time as he grabbed a piece of silverware and tapped onto his glass to get everyone's attention.
"I must admit, first working with these 2 felt like it was the worst thing for me. Whenever I tried to become leader whenever Ace wasn't there, Lexi was always there to stop me but she was still lost as she didn't have him nearby. We seen how they loved each other, it wasn't noticeable at first but thanks to our comrades, we managed to finally make them see the things they love about each other." Duck paused as he grabbed a drink of champagne.
He cleared his throat as he continued, "When we thought that we lost our leader, Lexi was going through a lot, the only person she loved was killed in front of her while we were all injured. During that raid from one of Optimatus' generals, we suffered to get him back but it was Lexi who was determined to get him back, even it meant sacrificing herself. They represented the ideas of love as they would go through war to find each other, and as a friend, I'm truly grateful that you to had finally found each other and tied the knot."
He raised his glass into the air "For here's a toast, to the bride and groom!"
The people were cheering as Duck didn't plan that, he just rolled with the ideas that were going through his head.
"Thanks Duck" Lexi said as she sort of felt guilty for blasting him in the butt every time.
"Don't mention it, I just like being like that" Duck said as he continued eating.
Cody was telling one of his stories as he accidentally threw his cake into the air, "Incoming"
Seth was busy as he was looking at Skye as he sort of had a crush on her but he vision was obstructed by cake.
"Oh, sorry Seth…" Cody said as he was worried he might get hurt.
He brushed his hand over his face to wipe much of his face but he held the remains of the cake, he looked at Cody with a glare, "You son of a-"
"Woah, woah, you shouldn't act like this on their wedding day" Cody said as he kept his hands up.
"Right…" he looked at the cake in his hand as he smiled, "catch!"
Cody quickly dodged that and the cake was still going fast, towards its next target, Lucian.
"Lucian, heads up" both Seth and Cody said, trying to warn him.
Lucian didn't notice as the cake landed onto his face perfectly, cake everywhere on him.
Lucian brushed the cake off as he glared at both of the idiots who did this, "You're dead."
"Ha, they got you good bro" Ella said as she nudged his shoulder.
Lucian smiled as he grabbed his cake and stuffed it into her face.
"Hahahahaha" Lucian was laughing with cake on his face.
"Food fight!" Olivia said over the mic as she wanted to see some fun.
"It's on now" Ella said as she grabbed more food and threw it at random people.
"Oh no" Ace said as he smiled, this was inevitable.
Everyone in the room started to throw food at each other, many agents, including Zadavia tried to hit as many people without getting hit, like some kind of training.
Seth grabbed many plates and chucked it around as someone managed to throw another at his face. He looked over to see Skye had her fist in the air, "Oh its on now Skye."
Lexi couldn't wait, she grabbed some and chucked it at her brothers, seeing how they could get almost anyone.
Ace smiled as he had to join next as Lexi accidentally threw one at him.
Both Ace and Lexi stood back to back as they either blocked the cake or dodged it completely.
They heard someone say, 'We need more cake!'
Right away, larger cakes were rolled in, the chefs were mad but some said that they'll pay for the damages.
Seeing the free-for-all, many paired together as they could hit more targets as a pair.
Andrea managed to be a hard person to hit as she stretched her way out of the way, but Lexi seen an idea, she jumped up as she spun around, throwing the cake at a random place as Ace threw more at her.
She seen the cake thrown at her so by dodging, she couldn't get out of the other cake Lexi threw.
"Yeah" Lexi and Ace high fived again as someone threw cake in their faces.
They looked over to see both Duck and Miranda were responsible, so they looked at each other and continued their plan.
Slam and Bridgette were having so much fun, as they ran towards the center, where the most were being tossed, they had their mouths open as they were eating the cakes.
Some people were hiding under tables, trying to stay from the battle commencing but Seth and the others were looking for everyone, so they looked under every table and caked everyone.
"We're all out people" Seth said as he was full of cake all over him.
"Damn, but you have to admit that was fun" Lexi said as she tried to wipe cake off of her as Ace agreed.
Ace looked around and seen that everyone here was full of cake, "It looks like we can conclude our wedding here folks."
A lot of people agreed as they had to get back and clean themselves off.
Ace and Lexi were the first to leave, as they knew whoever stayed will face the wrath of the chefs.
The limo came back as they exited the hotel, the one being drove by Anthony.
He seen how they had a lot of food on them, but he didn't want to question it, since anything could happen with the Loonatics.
Once they were in, they seen Jack running up to them, "Hey Jack, what's up?"
"Before I forget, here's your comms" Jack said as he handed the bracelets.
"Cool thanks" Lexi said as they put them on, "hey Anthony."
"Yes?"
"You can take the day off; we'll be teleporting back."
Anthony put on some sunglasses, "You don't have to tell me twice Mrs. Bunny."
Both bunnies pressed the buttons as they teleported away from the area and back home.
Ace walked up to the front door as he opened it, "Home sweet home."
Lexi walked in as she walked upstairs, "You got that right"
Ace grabbed a napkin as he wiped away the cake from his face as he walked upstairs as he placed the tux into the garment bag as it was full of cake. He walked over to the dresser as he changed into a white shirt with dark grey relaxed pair of pants.
He chuckled to himself as he will love the look of the people who does his dry cleanings, "I bet they would wonder what happened."
Looking around, he was feeling proud of himself.
Lexi had taken the dress off as she stepped into the shower, as she loved how warm the water feeling against her fur.
"Now this is perfect" they both said at the same time, despite being in different parts of the house.
Ace and Lexi got out of the limo as their plane was about to leave.
"Ready to go to Paris?" Ace said as they walked into the private jet.
"I can't wait" Lexi said as they got into the plane.
The flight attendant closed the main door as she told the pilot to leave.
"So Zadavia said that she would have the Remnants look over the planet as we're away." Lexi said as she placed her head on his shoulder.
"We will be having some fun while we're away" Ace said as he poured the bottle into 2 glasses.
He grabbed both of the glasses as he gave Lexi one, "Here's a toast, to our marriage and good fortune."
"I agree" Lexi said as they both drank up their drinks.
