Chapter 38 – Three Simple Words
Cyrus's Secret Hideout…
Cyrus limps his way towards his desk. He rubs his face from the bruises and cuts Josh impaled him on when he got his shots in at him. Cyrus makes it to his chair and sits down sighing hard. He spits out orange blood and pulls something out from inside his coat. A long cylinder see through tube which is freezing and a bright light shines in the middle of it. Cyrus stares at it and recalls the events of how he got it.
"With this…now my plans can continue."
Cyrus leans back in his chair and slowly closes his eyes. Suddenly Darkness comes walking out of the shadows emitting darkness off of himself.
"Was it worth it?"
Cyrus slowly opens his eyes seeing who it is.
"What do you think?"
"Judging by the impact on your face, I don't know…"
"Little price to pay I guess." Cyrus says rubbing his eye
"He got you good. When I met him of course, he couldn't lay a finger on me."
"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"
"No. Just rubbing it in."
Cyrus looks hard at Darkness.
"But remember, I got her. You, well, don't take credit for getting her. Those women…especially your daughter…"
"I don't want to talk about my daughter."
"She's got quite the attitude. Especially with that sword of hers."
"I know. I've seen it before." Cyrus says with a grin
"And she didn't take part in your…beat up?"
"NO. It was Josh. It, ALL, WAS, JOSH."
"Quite the slugger then."
"He got lucky, but I made him stop."
"This I got to hear." Darkness says sitting down
"I told him Elizabeth has a slowly infecting virus running in her heart. The second I told him, he stopped like a begging dog and made me walk right out of that institution."
"Irony."
"What?"
"You describe him like a dog, but yet I see another one right in front of me with his tail between his legs."
"He has strength, but also many weaknesses. Seeing what he did, made me see another."
"Right. You keep telling yourself that.', Cyrus grins funny at Darkness shrugging him off, sees tube, 'Did you get what you wanted?"
"Small amount, it will take some time to create more but I also need the machine that can handle the power."
"Get someone else to do your shopping for you. I'm done being your errand boy."
Cyrus begins to chuckle and Darkness notices.
"I'm done with you Darkness. But if I do need something, you'll be the first one I'll call."
"You actually got someone who's willingly going to help you?"
"Willingly is such a terrible word."
"Oooh! Right…you'll just make them do whatever you want."
"Not exactly but they'll have a little bit of the virus in them."
"Don't they all do?"
"Not these types of people."
"People? You got more than one?"
"I got the whole damn Institution." Cyrus says leaning forward
Darkness narrows his eyes as Cyrus begins to laugh.
The Factory…
Josh's Apartment…
Elizabeth is still out of it. Josh on the other hand is hunched over, sleeping. He bobs around a bit from the strange dream he's having. In his dream, he sees himself inside his Hard Drive with nothing around. He walks forward thinking up something to put in it. But as he does, nothing happens. This ponders Josh for a second why nothing is being created as he thinks it. Josh stops walking and thinks.
But then suddenly, laughing can be heard. Josh looks around wondering where it's coming from. And it's an odd laugh, hysterically kind of, but high pitched like a child or gas from a floating balloon. Amongst the darkness around Josh, with the single beaming light hovering over him. Something, or someone runs around watching Josh. Josh hears the running and pulls out his staff. The figure runs up behind Josh hitting him with an orange electrical bolt. It stuns Josh and he falls face first on the ground. Josh quickly turns around but the dark figure grabs him by the throat. He tries to see who it is, but the light darkens the figure even more slowly suffocating Josh. Josh starts to feel it shutting his eyes. And finally the dream ends.
Josh's Apartment…
Josh gasps quietly and looks around. Its morning and he looks around like he hasn't slept in days. Josh breathes slowly and looks down at Elizabeth and sees her still out of it. He rubs his face and stands up. Josh walks to the Kitchen and turns on the sink. He grabs a glass and fills it up with water. As the sink runs, the noise attracts Elizabeth's attention. Josh turns off the sink and starts drinking the water walking back to Elizabeth. Elizabeth yawns and sees where she's at. As Josh walks back to Elizabeth, Elizabeth sits up and Josh pauses. Elizabeth turns and sees Josh just staring at her like she's a ghost or something.
"What's wrong Josh?"
Josh drops the glass and it shatters the second it hits the floor. Elizabeth flinches and Josh rushes over to her sitting on the table. Elizabeth turns watching Josh's every move.
"Josh, what's wrong?"
Josh checks out Elizabeth.
"Please tell me I'm not dreaming."
"I don't think you are."
Josh shakes his head and softly slaps himself.
"Not good enough. Elizabeth."
"Yes?"
"Hit me."
"Excuse me?"
"Hit me, PLEASE."
"You sure?"
"I could jump out the window."
"Fine! Fine."
Elizabeth throws her hand back and Josh just closes his eyes hoping that this is real. She shuts her eyes and slaps Josh hard. Josh, with his eyes still close looks back at Elizabeth as she opens her eyes.
"Good enough?"
Josh is speechless for a moment and slowly starts to smile. Elizabeth narrows her eyes looking confused. Then suddenly Josh throws himself at Elizabeth hugging her.
"J-Josh!"
Josh begins to tremble and Elizabeth feels.
"I thought…I thought you weren't going to wake up."
Elizabeth blinks and slowly puts her arms around Josh.
"Josh…"
Josh shakes a bit.
"I've never been so scared before in my life."
"It's okay Josh. It's okay."
"No it's not. I wasn't here when it happened."
"It's not your fault."
"Security measures my ass."
"Josh.', the two back up, still holding each other, now just looking at each other, 'I'm fine now.', puts both hands on Josh's face, he closes his eyes, 'Thank you." Elizabeth whispers
The two move in closer to each other again and hold each other. They embrace shutting each other's eyes. Josh moves his hand up to where that needle was sticking in Elizabeth's back.
"Ow!"
Elizabeth jumps back and Josh throws his hand back.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
Josh and Elizabeth sit down across from each other. Elizabeth gently feels her back at the part where it hurts the most.
"Just when things were going so nicely." Elizabeth says with a painful expression on her face
"Does it hurt?"
"A six inch needle was jammed into my back…forcefully…', Josh narrows his eyes really hard just imagining the pain, 'So yes. It did hurt."
"Pulling it out of you didn't look either."
"I can hardly remember that part."
"Trust me, you don't want to."
Elizabeth tries to reach the point of her back, but the angle of her arms can't seem to reach it. She looks back at Josh.
"Would you mind taking a look?"
Josh just blinks.
"Take a look at what?"
"My back genius. Or better yet, feel it for me."
Josh gulps and sees the look on Elizabeth's face. He turns more directly at Elizabeth and leans forward.
"Fine."
Josh moves in closer at Elizabeth. He gently moves her hands out of the way and moves around her side opening up his jacket on her more. Elizabeth just watches as Josh gracefully feels up Elizabeth's back to the spot on her back. She shuts her eyes feeling Josh's finger move up her spin. Josh looks at Elizabeth, he sees her somewhat…liking the way he's touching her spin. Josh reaches the spot and he feels it.
"Does this hurt?', Josh puts a little pressure on it, Elizabeth holds it in, 'How about now?"
"No. Not as much."
"How about now?"
Josh gets closer to the puncture where the needle was pointed in. Elizabeth feels it looking up.
"Mmm-hmm. That's the spot right there."
Josh moves closer applying just a little more pressure.
"Does this hurt?"
Elizabeth feels the slight pain, she bites her lip closing her eyes.
"Kind of. But…not…really."
Josh gets closer to Elizabeth's face almost embracing her. He gets closer to her ear.
"How about…now."
Josh simply taps the puncture and Elizabeth jumps at Josh. He catches her as she looks at him directly.
"Yes. I felt that."
Josh nods.
"I'm no doctor but I think you're going to be just fine."
Elizabeth looks at Josh funny.
"Are you sure?" Elizabeth asks
Elizabeth moves closer to Josh.
"I could have E.D.I. run a quick scan for you if you like."
"No…that's okay."
The two tease each other just keeping their faces close to each other.
"How's your heart?" Josh asks whispering
"Beating very quickly…"
Josh picks up Elizabeth and gets her more comfortable on his lap. Elizabeth puts her arms around his head and the two are about to kiss. But suddenly Vanellope walks out of the Rooms, rubbing her eyes and yawning. Vanellope looks ahead and sees Elizabeth up.
"Elizabeth!"
Josh and Elizabeth look at each other quickly widening their eyes. They jump up brushing themselves off like nothing happened. Vanellope comes running around the couch and the two look down.
"You're okay!"
Elizabeth smiles.
"Yes. Yes I am."
"I'm going to tell everyone else!" Vanellope yells running back to the Rooms
Josh and Elizabeth watch as Vanellope runs back to the Rooms to wake everyone up. They slowly look at each other and just laugh. Vanellope comes back with everyone, Ralph, Felix, Calhoun and even Plague who looks like she just wants to sleep. Elizabeth looks and walks to everyone.
"Everyone. Hello."
"Welcome back." Calhoun says
"Thank you Calhoun."
"Are you okay?"
"Why?"
"Your face is a little red."
Josh covers his eyes and Elizabeth is just speechless bobbing her mouth up and down.
"When I woke, I was having an intense nightmare. It…It really startled me."
Josh mouths the words 'nightmare'. Plague rubs her eyes and sees the look on Josh's face and looks back at Elizabeth.
"Would this 'nightmare' happen to look like…oh say I don't know…roughly six feet tall…annoying….controlling…with shocking attitudes and a big pain in the ass?"
Elizabeth turns slowly at Plague and so does Josh.
"I wouldn't know Plague. I can hardly remember it."
"What about feeling it?" Plague asks with a smile
Josh coughs clearing his throat. He walks around the couch and towards the Kitchen.
"So…you feeling all right?" Ralph asks
"Yes. I'm fine now Ralph. Thank you."
"Is your heart all right?" Felix asks
"Yes. It's much better now."
"What a relief! Can you make some breakfast?" Vanellope asks
Elizabeth looks down at Vanellope and Josh shakes his head walking around the contour.
"Vanellope!"
"What!?"
"Elizabeth has had a long night. She's not up for making you breakfast."
"Oh come on."
"NO." Josh says shaking his head
"Josh it's all right."
Josh shakes his head in a funny way looking back at Elizabeth shockingly.
"You serious?"
"I'm feeling much better now. I really would like to do something to pay you all back for worrying about me."
Josh blinks and looks back at everyone else. He sighs slowly shutting his eyes. Elizabeth waits for an answer and Josh looks back up.
"Okay, fine. Go ahead."
Vanellope jumps happily running to the contour. Ralph and Felix join her as Plague swooshes out of there ignoring the party. Josh walks over talking to Vanellope. Elizabeth and Calhoun watch as the group talks amongst themselves.
"You sure you're okay?" Calhoun asks looking forward then looking down
Elizabeth looks up.
"Yes. Thank you Calhoun."
"Um, Elizabeth?"
"Yes?"
"You might want to change back into this."
Calhoun shows Elizabeth shirt. Elizabeth looks down and sees she's still wearing Josh's jacket. She covers her mouth and takes it.
"Tha-Thank you Calhoun. I never realized it until just now."
Just as Elizabeth heads to the Bathroom, E.D.I. appears on screen.
"Josh."
Josh turns around.
"Yeah, what is it E.D.I.?"
"I don't know if this is a connection to you or anything but there is something you should know."
"Just tell me E.D.I."
"The Mental Institution that you all were at', everyone stops what they're doing, Elizabeth stops as well looking back, 'Something strange has happened."
Josh leans off the contour taking a step forward.
"What?"
"The police and F.B.I. are investigating the strange disappearance of the inmates at the Institution."
Josh shakes his head waving his hand.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, what?"
"The patients that were in the Institution before Cyrus went there. There all gone."
Josh blinks with a confused look on his face.
"Gone? Just…gone?"
"Yes."
Josh brushes his hair back.
"How many patients were there?"
"According to records, there were 150 patients staying at the Institution."
Everyone just stays quiet hearing that number, '150'.
"Are they…considered completely insane?"
"They were reported as, 'Not fit for community socializing' and reported for 'Unfit for future changes to personalities'."
Josh rubs his face hard shutting his eyes.
"This cannot be happening."
"What does this all mean?" Felix asks
Josh turns around and looks at Felix.
"None of you think...', everyone looks at Josh, 'Cyrus wouldn't…"
"What Josh?" Ralph asks
Josh crosses his arms showing signs he's thinking really hard.
"What could Cyrus possible do with insane mental patients?"
Everyone looks at each other wondering the same thing. Josh slowly looks at Elizabeth narrowing his eyes. Elizabeth looks at Josh, holding the collar of his leather jacket with a worried look on her face.
That night…
Cyrus's Secret Layer….
Cyrus walks ahead in a straight line passing all the inmates from the Institution. Some still wearing their white pajamas from the Institution. Some look normal, but their eyes show there infected.
"Listen up ladies and gentlemen. What you all are experiencing is…a new life.', the patients look and feel themselves feeling the virus moving in them, it's not puncturing them like Cyrus's husks, its changing into stronger, smarter, and tougher beings, 'I've infected you all with my virus. But I'm trying something new with it. And right now I'm seeing exactly what I wanted."
The patients start to laugh a little and Cyrus takes notice.
"Listen up!', the patients look back at Cyrus, 'There's someone out there who's going to 'try' and stop me. Stop my work. 'OUR' work. Let me show you who it is."
Cyrus turns around and turns on a large computer screen. The screen turns on showing Josh's face. The patients then start to look angry like they want to kill him.
"This, is Josh Litwak. Right now the entire world hates him because they think he's the one causing all the kids out there to be sick. But truthfully, it's me!', the patients laugh, 'He's going to try to stop us. But your all going to make sure he doesn't. Who's, WITH ME?!"
The patients yell at the top of their lungs throwing their hands up. Cyrus smirks as he sees his 'new' army before him. He turns around and looks up at Josh, smiling funny and finally laughing.
The Factory…
Josh's Apartment…
The Rooms, Elizabeth's Room…
Josh helps Elizabeth to her Room. Now wearing her normal shirt and not his coat. Elizabeth sighs from Josh's extreme helpful ness.
"I got it Josh."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
Josh keeps his distance but stays really close to Elizabeth. Elizabeth sits down on her bed and Josh sighs in relief.
"So, do you need anything?"
Elizabeth thinks for a moment.
"Actually there kinda is…"
Suddenly Vanellope slips by Elizabeth's door.
"Josh!', Josh and Elizabeth turn towards the door seeing Vanellope, 'Can you tuck me in?"
Josh sighs and walks to Vanellope.
"Okay, come on you sour brat."
Elizabeth shakes her head with a small smile on her face. She slowly looks down but then her smile goes away.
Inside Vanellope's Room…
Vanellope jumps around while Josh tries to keep her calm.
"Come on squirt get into bed."
"Just a little longer."
"Come on."
Josh picks up Vanellope and she struggles to break free. He makes it to Vanellope's racecar bed. Josh sets her down and Vanellope annoyingly gets under the covers.
"Fine, fine…"
"That's a 'sweet' girl. I knew you were in there somewhere."
Josh gets Vanellope comfortable under the sheet. He pats her head and gets up.
"Sweet dreams Vanellope. Literally."
As Josh walks away, Vanellope sits up.
"Josh?"
Josh stops and turns around.
"Yeah?"
"Is everything back to normal? With you I mean?"
Josh narrows his eyes.
"What do you mean Vanellope?"
Vanellope sits up. Josh crosses his arms waiting for Vanellope. Vanellope plays with her fingers.
"Back at that place…where Elizabeth was at."
"What about it?"
"You…You were acting very different. Very scary to be exact."
Josh looks down and back up. Vanellope looks down.
"I've never seen you act that way before. I almost didn't recognize you."
"Vanellope…"
"Are you always going to act like that?"
Josh sighs looking down. He walks back over to Vanellope and sits down.
"Vanellope listen to me.', Vanellope nervously looks at Josh as he sits in front of her, 'That wasn't me. Now that I think about how I acted, I feel like…some part of me was controlling me. It turned me into someone I wasn't. I was just so focused on finding Elizabeth, I didn't care who got in my way or wasn't worried about who was watching me. But you were watching me Vanellope. I can't imagine how scary I looked."
"Very scary."
Josh nods.
"I'm sorry."
"Are you going to continue to act like that?"
"No. I promise Vanellope. You're not going to see me act like that no more."
Josh throws his hand over and pats the top of Vanellope's head.
"IS there anything I can do for you to make it up for you?"
Vanellope thinks for a moment looking the other way.
"Uhhh…', looks back at Josh, 'Can I see my friends?"
"Your friends?"
"Everyone from Sugar Rush."
Josh now realizes and shakes his head.
"Oh, oh. Your friends. There in the Surge Bar Vanellope."
"I know that. Do you think I can see them? It's been a long time since I last saw them."
Josh thinks for a moment and Vanellope waits. He looks back at Vanellope with a smile.
"I'll think of something. I can't promise anything. And you're right. I haven't checked on anyone from the Surge Bar since I took it from the Arcade."
"Okay…fine."
"You'll get to see your friends. Don't worry."
Vanellope sighs and covers up. Josh gets up and walks out of her room turning off the main light and turning on a night light showing different images circling around Vanellope's room.
Back in Elizabeth's Room…
Elizabeth sits up straight holding her legs close to herself. She waits for Josh's return. Then suddenly, her door opens and she shoots her head up. Josh walks in with a smile on his face towards Elizabeth.
"Miss me?" Josh asks walking closer to Elizabeth
Elizabeth thinks for a second and begins to look worried. Josh stops several feet from Elizabeth's bed and see the look on her face.
"What's wrong?"
Elizabeth thinks for a moment bobbing her eyes around as if she's trying to look for an answer in some place. She finally looks back at Josh.
"Josh…there's something I need to tell you."
"What?"
Elizabeth gulps nervously.
"It's about…what happened at the Institution. With Cyrus."
Josh blinks and takes a step forward.
"Did something happen?"
"Yes." Elizabeth says quietly
"What else did Cyrus do to you?" Josh asks with a serious look on his face
Elizabeth thinks really hard trying to tell Josh. Josh sees the look on Elizabeth's face and takes another step forward.
"He told me…he told me if I didn't…', slowly looks up at Josh, 'He told me if I didn't cooperate with him…he would bring you with your hand detached from your body.', Josh gulps nervously, Elizabeth takes a deep breath through her nose and looks back up at Josh, 'What was I supposed to do? I either did what he said or he would take off your hand."
Josh makes a fist and Elizabeth wipes her eyes.
"I put everyone in danger because I couldn't overcome my feelings for you. I'm sorry Josh. I'm so sorry." Elizabeth says digging her head into her legs
Josh watches as Elizabeth cries. He walks on over towards her sitting down in front of her. Josh moves Elizabeth over to him and embraces her. Elizabeth cries into Josh's chest as he pats the back of her head.
"It's okay Elizabeth. You didn't make the wrong choice."
Josh kisses Elizabeth's forehead. Elizabeth moves up and the two stare into each other's eyes. Josh wipes the tears off from Elizabeth's face. He moves closer and kisses Elizabeth. Elizabeth just goes along with it. Josh gently pushes Elizabeth down and Elizabeth goes along with it. Josh moves down kissing Elizabeth's cheek and slowly her neck. Elizabeth softly moans and blinks.
"Josh…Josh."
Josh stops and looks up and over Elizabeth's face.
"What? Too much?"
Elizabeth gulps and moves up. Josh backs up and Elizabeth brushes back her hair.
"Not…not here."
Josh blinks and slowly nods realizing.
"I'm, I'm sorry. I shouldn't…" Josh gets up and walks to the door
Elizabeth watches narrowing her eyes seeing Josh leave.
"Josh."
Josh takes a deep breath. He stops at the door and looks back.
"If you need anything. You know where to find me."
Josh leaves and Elizabeth moves forward about to say something, but nothing comes out. Elizabeth sits back thinking what just happened. She didn't say 'no'. Elizabeth smirks funny and waves her hand.
Josh's Room…
Josh closes his door sighing. He brushes his hair back and looks up.
"Could I be any…MORE...desperate? God…."
Josh walks to his closet and hangs up his coat. As he does, a cool breeze hits his back and Josh sees his breath before him.
"Is it getting colder in here or…?" Josh says holding his hand in front of his face
Elizabeth walks up behind him and blows in his ear.
"It is."
Josh throws his eyes brows up and turns around. As he looks, a rip from Elizabeth's Room closes and Josh looks at Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth? Need something?"
Elizabeth walks up to Josh and stand really close to him.
"Yes. You."
Josh narrows his eyes and watches Elizabeth sit down at the corner of his bed.
"But you said…"
"I said, not my room Josh."
Josh blinks and rubs his eyes. Elizabeth crosses her legs as Josh closes his closet door. Elizabeth moves back and lays her head down on one of Josh's pillow. Josh sits down near his pillow and kicks off his shoes. He sighs in relief and lays back. The two just stare up at the ceiling. A few moment pass by and Elizabeth finally says something.
"So I guess Cyrus got away when you got me huh?"
Josh blinks and sighs.
"He did."
Elizabeth nods.
"Figures."
"But barely in one piece though."
Elizabeth turns her head looking at Josh.
"I'm sorry?"
Josh smiles closing his eyes.
"I may have landed a few…shocking punches to his face a couple, well, twenty or thirty times."
Elizabeth opens her mouth surprised.
"You didn't."
Josh nods shrugging.
"I did."
"How did it feel?"
"It felt, GREAT. All my misery and pain just slipped right into my fists and right into Cyrus's face.', Josh smiles happily, 'Anger can be a gift if used properly."
Elizabeth closes her eyes turning towards Josh.
"I really wish I could have seen it."
Josh turn his head opening his eyes.
"I can show you', Elizabeth narrows her eyes in a confused way, 'My hard drive. I can extract memories if I can think of them. It's a wonderful process."
"Next time. Right now…', moves closer to Josh and wraps her arms around him, Josh returns it as Elizabeth stays down below his chin, 'I just want to stay like this right now."
Josh doesn't say anything and the two just hold each other. A couple moments pass by and Josh opens his eyes. He recalls what Old Elizabeth told him. What he has to say to Elizabeth. Josh gulps nervously and looks down at Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth…there's…there's something I need to tell you."
"Mm? What?" Elizabeth asks with her eyes shut still looking like she's sleeping
"I figured this might sound out of place or very strange, but, please bear with me."
"What?"
Josh takes a deep breath and opens his eyes.
"Close your eyes, I'll be here. Wait for me, I'll be there. Open your eyes, you'll see me here."
Elizabeth's eyes just shoot right open. Josh waits for a response from Elizabeth. Suddenly Elizabeth lifts herself up and stares at Josh with a lost look on her face. Josh sees.
"Uhh, Elizabeth?"
"What…did you just say?"
Josh turns his eyes only in one direction and back at Elizabeth.
"I said, 'Close your eyes, I'll be here. Wait for me, I'll be there. Open your eyes, you'll see me here'. Does that mean something?"
Elizabeth blinks and looks at Josh like she heard the biggest news of her life. She can't stop looking at Josh like she can't believe what she just heard. Josh gulps and finally shrugs.
"Uhh, Elizabeth?"
Suddenly Elizabeth finally moves, placing her left hand on Josh's right cheek. Josh looks and Elizabeth crawls over Josh and sits on his stomach. He looks and sees Elizabeth acting weird.
"Uh, Elizabeth? What are you doing?"
Elizabeth places her other hand on Josh's cheek and leans down at him. Josh watches as Elizabeth kisses him. His eyes shoot out of his head and quickly closes them. Elizabeth continues to kiss Josh. But suddenly Josh starts hitting his bed with his hand up and down showing signs he's…running out of air. Elizabeth throws her head back gasping hard. Josh gasps as well breathing heavily.
"What…was…THAT?" Josh asks with a dazed look on his face
Elizabeth closes her eyes and wipes her lips. Josh shakes his head snapping out of it. He looks up and sees Elizabeth taking off her shirt. Josh throws his head around and quickly sits up stopping Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth was has gotten into you?!"
Elizabeth pushes Josh's hands out of the way and kisses him again. With her eyes closed and Josh's wide open. Josh looks serious and pushes Elizabeth forward stopping her.
"Look I don't understand what's going on here but you better tell right now or I will get physical', Josh says pointing, Elizabeth looks at Josh's finger and back up at him with her eyes, Josh narrows his seeing a funny look on Elizabeth's face, Elizabeth smirks and spins Josh around, 'Whoa!"
Elizabeth, now on top of Josh, holding his arms down. Josh forms two fists but he doesn't attack.
"I will fight back."
Elizabeth moves down closer to Josh, smiling.
"I hope so."
Josh raises his eyebrows as Elizabeth moves down and kisses Josh again. Elizabeth keeps holding Josh's hands down, then finally she moves his hands forward wrapping them around her back. Josh goes along with it. Elizabeth begins doing what Josh did to her in her room. She gently sniffs Josh's neck and he shivers a bit feeling a cold breeze on his neck.
"Oooooh…" Josh whispers
"Josh…', slowly moves up to his face, 'I need to ask you something."
"A question?" Josh asks with a look on his face
Elizabeth sort of smiles and kisses Josh on the lips.
"Yes."
Josh sighs.
"Fine…what is it?"
Elizabeth stops and Josh opens his eyes looking up.
"Is it…all right if I love you?"
Josh just freezes to those words. He has a complete blank stare on his face from that question Elizabeth just asked. Elizabeth just sits on top, laying over Josh waiting an answer.
Following Morning…
Josh's Room…
All is quiet in Josh's Room. Elizabeth sleeps forward on Josh's bed. Alone. Josh is nowhere in sight.
Josh's Apartment…
Josh sits at the contour, looking like he's really thinking very hard. His arm is on the contour as he keeps his hand on his face. Josh is just thinking about what Elizabeth told him last night.
'Is it all right if I love you'? What…What kind of question is that? Elizabeth loves me? No. No way.
Josh rubs his eyes very hard and sighs. Plague swooshes in and doesn't alert Josh. She looks and sees Josh very much distracted thinking about something. Plague walks up behind Josh just passing him.
"Hey Josh."
Josh jumps.
"Whoa!"
Plague flinches as Josh grabs his heart catching his breath. She narrows her eyes seeing Josh very jumpy.
"Geez, take it easy. Lay off the coffee."
"Plague you scared the crap out of me." Josh says picking up the stool
"I just said 'hey'."
"I see that now." Josh says sighing at the end
Josh sits back down and puts both hands on his face. Plague looks back, narrowing her eyes seeing Josh stressed out about something.
"You okay?"
Josh keeps his hands on his face still.
"Oh yeah…I'm just swell Plague. I'm just peachy. More shocked but you can get the point."
"What's the problem?" Plague asks standing in front of Josh on the other side of the contour
Josh peeks through his fingers looking at Plague. Plague just crosses her arms and Josh drops his hands.
"Elizabeth…told me something last night…which came as a big shocker to me."
"She dumped finally?" Plague asks with a smile
Josh rolls his eyes.
"No. That's likely not going to happen any time soon. Which I believe."
Plague shrugs walking to the fridge.
"Then what else did she say to you which was a 'shock'?"
Plague opens the fridge looking in it. Josh sighs bobbing his head around.
"Elizabeth…told me she loved me."
Plague freezes hearing Josh's comment. Josh turns his eyes at Plague who slowly turns around still looking surprised.
"She said what to you?"
Josh sighs closing his eyes brushing back his hair.
"Elizabeth asked me last night, 'Is it all right if I love you'."
"She really said that?"
"Oh yeah, on top of me, half naked. She's really good at that by the way." Josh says rubbing his face
"Which part?"
"Getting things in the right mood."
"Oh. She's been alone for a long time. I can see why she would want to take the lead."
Josh waves Plague off.
"Enough about that Plague."
"So what did you say?"
Josh pauses for a moment and doesn't look back at Plague. Plague waits for an answer.
"Well?"
Josh gulps and shrugs.
"I didn't exactly answer her."
"The hell's that supposed to mean? You either did or you didn't. Which one?"
Josh sighs hard.
"I didn't! Okay? I didn't say anything to her. I just froze while she laid on top of me."
Plague whistles and Josh looks back.
"Boy, I know you can drive people crazy sometimes but reacting the way you did, just brings a smile to my face."
"Why's that?"
"You scared aren't you?"
"I'm not scared Plague."
"Then why didn't you answer her?"
"Well one, I've never had that said to me before other than by my parents."
"Typical answer from a boy."
"I was lucky Elizabeth was tired. She passed out and I stayed up the whole night just…thinking."
"About?"
"Everything. I mean, everything that has happened since she has gotten here."
"As I recall, you got her. Remember? Even with my warning, you just went to her Tower, and brought her here."
Josh makes a face looking funny at Plague.
"Yes, I know. But…."
"But what Shocky?"
Josh sighs.
"I didn't think I would make her love me."
"With everything going on, are you that blind?"
"Apparently so."
Plague sighs.
"Josh, the one thing a girl needs: is an answer.', Josh looks back at Plague, 'And you didn't give her one."
Josh shrugs.
"I have to think about it."
"Think about what?"
"The whole relationship thing."
"Did you think you were just going to score and not expect anything after?"
Josh rolls his eyes.
"Of course not Plague. I'm not like that. It's just…"
"What? WHAT?" Plague asks leaning forward over the contour
Josh thinks for a moment.
"I have to make sure…I do too."
Plague blinks seeing Josh's understanding. Josh stands up and pats himself down.
"I just need to think. If you see Elizabeth, don't tell her where I am. I…I don't want to see her right now." Josh says walking to the elevator
Plague watches and crosses her arms.
"And what do I say when she asks where you are?"
Josh throws down the door.
"I don't know Plague. You're good at this. Make something up."
Plague smirks funny and Josh goes down. She taps her finger under her chin and licks her lip.
"I can have fun with this."
Josh's Room…
Elizabeth begins to wake up and yawns. She opens her eyes to the part of the bed where Josh would be. Elizabeth lifts her head up and looks around the room.
"Josh? Are you here?"
Elizabeth looks around wondering where Josh is. She gets up and walks to his door. As Elizabeth does, she looks down and sees some buttons and her tie is a little undone.
"Oh, might want to fix that."
Elizabeth fixes herself up and looks like how she's supposed to be. She takes a deep breath and walks out of Josh's Room.
Josh's Apartment…
Plague sits at the table, well, actually on it reading a magazine. Elizabeth shuts the door and walks out. Plague looks up and sees Elizabeth walking towards her looking around.
"Morning Sleeping Beauty."
Elizabeth looks, quickly smiles at Plague and looks back around.
"Good morning Plague."
Plague grins.
"Looking for something? Or someone?"
Elizabeth stops several feet from Plague.
"Josh. Have you seen him?"
"Josh?', Elizabeth looks funny at Plague for asking 'who' it is, 'Oh, oh! Josh. I haven't seen him."
Elizabeth thinks for a moment.
"Hmm…I wonder why he would just leave without saying anything."
Elizabeth walks past Plague and she just watches. She walks up to the contour putting one hand on her face thinking really hard about the situation. Plague clears her throat and walks up to Elizabeth.
"You and Josh have a fight?"
Elizabeth shakes her head.
"No! No, of course not. We have nothing to fight about."
"You sure?"
"Positive. He and I have done nothing to each other to fight about."
"Okay, that narrows it down then."
"What do you mean?"
"Did you…tell him something he didn't want to hear?"
Elizabeth thinks for a moment and shrugs.
"Well, I only told him one important thing last night and…"
"What was it?"
Elizabeth looks serious at Plague and looks away from her.
"Something very personal Plague. All right?"
Plague puts her hand up.
"Okay, okay. It's personal. Well, maybe what you told him, this 'personal' thing got to him."
Elizabeth blinks for a moment in a confused away.
"Why would have it 'got' to him. I only told him how I felt."
Elizabeth covers her mouth. Plague looks surprised but pretends to be.
"How you felt? Is there a word in there that begins with the letter 'L'?"
Elizabeth keeps her hands over her mouth slowly looking at Plague. Plague just looks like she's really interested to confirm her suspicions and Elizabeth slowly takes her hands off her mouth.
"Y…Yes."
Plague nods happily.
"I see. You told him that you like him."
"Well…more than that actually."
Plague gasps.
"More? You love him?"
"Plague!"
Plague puts her hands up.
"I only asked, don't freeze me Frosty."
Elizabeth sighs.
"This is serious Plague. I would appreciate it if you can be serious."
"Oh I'm being very serious here Elizabeth."
"But, it's strange."
"What?"
Elizabeth narrows her eyes.
"I told him…but he didn't say anything."
"He didn't say anything?"
"No. He just looked confused."
Plague nods and nods in a funny way.
"Oh I see. It seems Josh wasn't looking for that."
Plague walks away and Elizabeth turns her head narrowing her eyes at Plague wondering what she means.
"I'm sorry?"
Plague smiles and turns around quickly hiding her smile.
"I better tell you this before someone else does Elizabeth.', Elizabeth just blinks and Plague just shrugs, 'Josh wasn't looking for that from you. He just wanted to get you into his bed."
Elizabeth drops her mouth and jumps up.
"That's not true!"
Plague puts her hands up.
"Whoa, whoa! EASY!"
"Josh is not like that! He would never do that."
"Elizabeth! Elizabeth!"
The room starts to shake a little and Elizabeth starts walking back and forth nervously.
"Josh…no. I don't believe it. You're lying Plague." Elizabeth says looking at Plague
Plague sighs and shrugs.
"Well there's only one way to find out. Only one way."
"What?" Elizabeth says with a serious look on her face
"If he avoids you all day, he's not interested in the way you feel about him. He's only interested in the one thing that you two have…well, you know."
Elizabeth thinks for a second and brushes back her hair. She looks back at Plague furious.
"I don't believe it."
Plague waves her hand towards the elevator.
"Go and see for yourself then. Josh has to be around here somewhere."
Elizabeth looks at the door and nods.
"Okay, I'll find him and talk to him."
"Go right ahead." Plague says with a funny looking smile
Elizabeth walks to the elevator and Plague watches. She goes down and Plague claps her hands together.
"Like two little puppets."
Down in the Factory…
Josh walks into the Factory and hears gunfire. He looks ahead and sees Calhoun firing doing some target practice. Josh walks up to her as she reloads.
"Getting any better?"
Calhoun turns around and nods.
"Yes. Yes I am."
Calhoun reloads and takes aim. Josh walks up beside her, with his hands in his pockets and watches Calhoun take down each target set up.
"Get any better you can shoot with your eyes closed."
"I won't try that."
"Good. It sounds dangerous even saying it."
Calhoun shoots the last target. Josh looks down with his eyes and back up.
"Calhoun, can…can I ask you a question?"
Calhoun turns and so does Josh.
"What is it?"
"It's personal, and I need a straight answer."
"Okay. What?"
Josh takes a deep breath and looks back at Calhoun.
"You wouldn't have married Felix if you…didn't love him right?"
Calhoun blinks and a moment passes by.
"What kind of question is that?"
"A serious one. And one I need an answer for."
"Why are you asking that now?"
"Because I'm stomped, that's why."
"About?"
"When you first met Felix, how did you feel about him?"
"I thought he was a Cy-Bug."
Josh snaps his thumb.
"Right. I forgot. You shot at him, kicked him and shoved your gun in his face."'
"That's right."
"And what were your thoughts on him when you first met him."
"Small, childlike and annoying."
"Wow. Only if Felix could hear you now."
"But my thoughts on him changed over time."
"How so?"
Calhoun thinks for a moment looking up shutting her eyes. Josh waits as Calhoun looks back down.
"He fixed my broken heart."
Josh nods.
"Huh…I guess that was good?"
"Yes. I didn't like it at first. I was angry when he first kissed me. But I let out my feelings and returned it."
Josh nods.
"I see. So, you love him…right?"
Calhoun thinks for a moment and nods.
"Yes."
"Love…it's a nice feeling, yes?"
"One of many things I guess it's like to be human, right?"
Josh nods.
"Yep. Humans love each other. Like how my parents love each other. Like how I love making kids happy."
"Why are you asking me these sort of questions Josh?"
Josh clears his throat and shrugs.
"You're the only married woman I know around here. So, that's why."
"Is that the best excuse you can come up with?"
Josh looks around like he's trying to find an answer.
"It's not an excuse. It's an actual fact, right?"
"Okay, okay. It actually makes sense."
Josh sighs in relief throwing his hands up.
"Thank you!"
"But why did you ask me if I love him?"
Josh pauses and gulps really hard. He turns around very slowly almost laughing.
"Love and marriage right? Can't have one without the other. Good day." Josh says walking away
Calhoun crosses her arms as Josh walks away in an odd way.
"Does this have anything to do with Elizabeth?"
Josh almost slips and stops walking. He quickly turns around and plays 'dumb' in a terrible way.
"Elizabeth? Elizabeth…ha! This has nothing to do with her. I mean, give me a break." Josh says nervously wiping his forehead and brushing his hair back
Calhoun grins and walks to Josh.
"You're acting different than usual. More than usual."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
Calhoun stops in front of Josh.
"You asked me to be serious. Now I'm asking you."
Josh nods closing his eyes.
"Okay, okay. Your right."
"Start from the top."
Josh takes a deep breath.
"Last night…Elizabeth told me she loved me."
"She did?', Josh nods, 'To you?', Josh bites his lip nodding, 'Wow."
"MOVING ON.', Calhoun fixes herself up and gets serious again, 'She said it and…I just froze."
"You froze?"
"Yeah. It shocked the crap out of me Calhoun. I just never knew Elizabeth felt that way towards me."
"She is a girl."
Josh nods with a funny smile on his face.
"Oh yeah…she's…she's a girl all right."
Calhoun snaps her thumbs to snap Josh out of it.
"Are you back?"
Josh shakes his head.
"Yeah, yeah."
"You haven't told her yet?"
"No. I just gave her a blank stare and watched her fall asleep."
Calhoun nods and walks over to Josh.
"Come here."
"Huh?"
"Come here."
Josh walks closer to Calhoun and suddenly she head locks him.
"HEY! CALHOUN!"
"What is wrong you!?"
"WHAT?!"
"A woman's heart is not a game Josh! You can't pause and wait to play it again!"
"OKAY! I understand!"
"Do you!?"
"Yes!"
Calhoun throws Josh away as he checks out his neck.
"What are you going to do now Josh?"
Josh breathes slowly and looks back at Calhoun.
"I…I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"I DON'T KNOW Calhoun! I'm not good at these sort of things!"
Calhoun sees the seriousness out of Josh's face. Josh waits and Calhoun responds.
"Want my advice?"
Josh nods slowly. Calhoun waves her hair back.
"My advice…just go with it and see what happens."
Josh narrows his eyes and thinks.
"Just…go with it and see what happens?"
Calhoun nods with a smile.
"That's right."
Josh thinks for a moment.
"So…did you just go with it and see what's going to happen with Felix or…"
"That, you will NEVER know."
Josh nods.
"Uh-huh…could you do me a favor Calhoun?"
"What now?"
"If you see Elizabeth, don't tell her where I went."
"Why?"
"Because I need to think this through. Carefully. Much appreciated Sergeant." Josh says walking away
Calhoun grabs her pistol and takes aim. Josh leaves the Factory. And five seconds later, Elizabeth comes walking in. Elizabeth looks around and doesn't see Josh anywhere, except for Calhoun. She walks up to Calhoun and stops.
"Calhoun."
Calhoun turns around and sees its Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth. Something I can help you with?"
"Yes. Have you seen Josh?"
"He just left."
Elizabeth blinks quickly and looks around.
"Really? He was just here?"
"Yes. He told me not to tell you where he's going.', Elizabeth's mouth drops, 'Sorry."
Elizabeth quickly spins around and hurries out of the Factory. Calhoun watches and looks back at her targets.
"That's what he told me."
The Rooms…
Vanellope's Room…
Josh and Vanellope play Mario Kart on the Wii. And of course, the two are in the lead trying to beat each other. Vanellope's struggling and Josh is as calm as ever.
"I don't get this but it's awesome!"
"Awesome because you're losing?'
"No! I'm going to win!"
"Watch out for that turn!"
"NO!"
Vanellope crashes and Josh passes her right up.
"See ya at the finish line!"
Vanellope jumps up standing now. Josh yawns as he sees the finish line ahead of his racer.
"Wake me up when I cross the finish line."
Josh drives with his eyes closed as Vanellope struggles. He crosses and wins the race.
"Oh yeah." Josh says calmly
"NO! NO, NO, NO! I don't like this! It's easier behind the screen!"
"I bet it is. For you I mean."
Vanellope throws the steering wheel at Josh and he catches it.
"Hey, hey now."
"Again. I want to race again."
Josh sighs and throws back the steering wheel.
"Let's go."
Vanellope sits down and the two race again. The race starts off normal. Josh peers his eyes down at Vanellope and back up at the screen.
"So…honest thought Vanellope. What do you think of Elizabeth?"
"Elizabeth? I like her. She's all right."
"She's just 'all right'?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I don't know. I'm just asking."
A lap goes by between the two. Vanellope begins to ease up.
"I like her. She's good. She's really nice."
Josh turns his head and looks back at the screen.
"That's good. That's really good to know."
E.D.I. contacts Josh through the earpiece.
"Josh, you wanted to be informed, yes?"
"Yes. What is it E.D.I.?"
"Elizabeth is on her way to Vanellope's Room right now."
Josh nods and gets up.
"Sorry Vanellope, I can't finish this race with ya."
"What? Why?"
"I have my own race to finish, so excuse me."
"Fine! I'll play on my own and get better."
Josh walks to the door.
"Good attitude.', Josh makes it to the door and quickly spins around, 'Oh, Vanellope."
Vanellope doesn't turn, she's too busy playing the game.
"What?"
"If Elizabeth asks where I am, just tell her to keep looking."
"Yeah, yeah…okay."
Josh nods and leaves. Vanellope focuses more on the race. Suddenly Elizabeth comes running into Vanellope's Room, almost out of breath.
"Vanellop!"
"Yeah?" Vanellope asks looking straight
"Have you seen…Josh anywhere?" Elizabeth asks breathlessly
"Yeah, he told me to tell you to keep looking."
Elizabeth's eye almost twitches and she finally says something.
"EXCUSE ME?"
"That's what he said."
Elizabeth bites her lip and runs out of the Room. Vanellope quickly looks and looks back at the screen.
"That's what he said."
Josh's Apartment…
Josh walks out of the Bathroom and ahead. Elizabeth rushes ahead and sees Josh coming out of the corner.
"JOSH!"
Josh looks around casually and sees Elizabeth walking towards him.
"Oh hey Elizabeth."
Elizabeth stops, angrily and points hard at Josh.
"Don't 'Oh hey Elizabeth' me!"
Josh nods and narrows his eyes.
"Um, okay. How about, 'hi'?"
"No!"
Josh flinches.
"Okay. I won't say that no more."
"So it's true!"
"What?"
"You're avoiding me!"
"Uh…not exactly. We live in the same building."
"Shut up!"
Josh nods.
"Okay." Josh says walking ahead
Elizabeth flinches seeing Josh walking away. She quickly runs ahead and stops right in front of Josh and he sees.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"Ralph and Felix."
"What about them?"
"I want to see what there up to."
"Oh. And when you leave are you going to tell them not to tell me where you are?"
Josh thinks for a second.
"Well, when you say it like that. Yeah…it sounds bad."
"Plague was right. You are avoiding me."
Josh looks back at Elizabeth.
"Plague said what?"
"So you were only after one thing huh?"
Josh narrows his eyes.
"Wait, what?"
Elizabeth starts to look sad.
"I thought I knew you Josh."
"Uh, Elizabeth?"
"Your worse than Cyrus himself."
Josh gets serious.
"Hey now. Don't cross that line." Josh says pointing
Elizabeth lets go of her sad face and looks serious. She spins around and points at Josh making him drop his hand.
"I'm going to tell you this right now, JOSH, LITWAK', Josh rolls his eyes, 'I don't care how handsome you are.', Josh nods, 'Or how sweet you can be.', Josh crosses his arms, 'How brave, how daring, courageous, caring or nice!', Josh blinks almost smiling, 'You will not fool me anymore! You hear me?!"
Josh nods.
"Uh-huh."
Josh looks funny at Elizabeth flirting with her with his eyes. Elizabeth drops her hand and sees the look he's giving her.
"What's with that sparkle in your eye? You thinking of something terrible again?"
"No. I'm actually looking at the most beautiful, sexy looking girl I have ever seen in my entire, gaming life Elizabeth."
Elizabeth blinks and diverts her eyes. She just blinks and shakes her head trying to ignore Josh's flirting.
"Beautiful huh? Sexy?" Elizabeth says standing strong
Josh nods with a smirk on his face.
"Uh-huh…"
Elizabeth steps back and Josh takes a step forward. She takes another step back and Josh takes another step forward.
"Oh please! That's what you probably always say to other girls."
"If that were even remotely true."
"Please! If I'm so DAMN sexy, why aren't you kissing me then?"
Josh looks confused.
"You're absolutely right."
"Huh?"
"Come here."
"Hey, hey Josh!"
Josh grabs Elizabeth and leans her down.
"Oh, Josh!"
"How's this?"
Josh kneels down and holds Elizabeth only feet off the ground. Elizabeth just looks shocked and suddenly Josh kisses her passionately. She closes her eyes and goes with it. Josh stops kissing and throws her back up on her two feet. Josh fixes his shirt and Elizabeth is just daze. He looks over and snaps his thumbs in front of her which snaps her out of it.
"How was that?"
Elizabeth shakes her head and Josh walks away.
"To hell with what Plague said."
"Huh?"
Elizabeth grabs Josh's hand and throws him back at her. The two kiss long and hard. The two ease up and Josh shakes his head.
"Now, with that out of the way, would you kindly tell me what Plague exactly said to you?"
Elizabeth takes a deep breath and Josh waits for his answer.
"She told me that the reason you were avoiding me because you weren't looking to be in a relationship with me, you were just after what you and I have done…together."
Josh blinks and puts his hands in his pocket.
"What we've done together?"
Elizabeth points her face at Josh's Room and he turns at it. Josh looks back at Elizabeth and finally, he realizes. He shuts his eyes really hard.
"I'm going to FRY her until she starts smoking. Like they did to prisoners in the 30s.', looks at Elizabeth, 'Follow me."
Josh takes Elizabeth's hand and she watches. He guides her to the couch and sits her down. Josh sits down on the table.
"Okay, let me clear this all up with you. Right here and right now."
"Josh?"
"Elizabeth…last night when we were about to…', bobs head around, 'Well, I mean, before that. What you said to me. Remember?"
Elizabeth blinks and shrugs.
"What? That I asked you if I could love you?"
Josh nods.
"That's the mother of all questions."
"I just wanted to know. I didn't want you to freak out or anything."
"Well I did. Well, not really, it surprised me. I couldn't stop thinking about it."
"It's okay if you don't."
Josh looks back.
"What?"
"I mean, no…wait', Elizabeth rubs her face thinking, Josh just watches, 'Josh. I can't but help how I feel about you. After everything you've done for me. I can't stop this feeling I have for you. So I just wanted to ask you so I know that it's okay."
"Elizabeth, tell me, about what I said to you."
Elizabeth sighs softly.
"A long time ago, I barely even remember it. I don't know if it even happened or it was just a dream.', Josh just waits, 'Someone told me that exact phrase. I know how it sounds but, that phrase has been stuck with me for a long time. And when you said it…I thought it was a miracle."
Josh nods.
"A miracle huh?'
Elizabeth nods.
"Yes."
Josh takes a deep breath.
"Well…here's another…', Elizabeth blinks waiting for what Josh is about to say, 'I have your answer.', Elizabeth starts to smile slowly, 'Yes. Yes you can."
Elizabeth almost chuckles. She laughs finally and launches herself forward wrapping her arms around Josh's head.
"Thank you! Thank you, thank you Josh."
Josh smiles and pats Elizabeth's back.
"Yeah, no problem. But that was only half of it."
Elizabeth narrows her eyes and falls back looking at his face.
"What do you mean half?"
"Because I have my own question."
Elizabeth narrows her eyes.
"What?"
Josh gulps really hard. He takes a deep breath and looks back at Elizabeth.
"Is it all right….', gulps really hard, 'If…I…can…l-l-l-love…you?"
Elizabeth blinks with a blank stare on her face. Josh wipes the sweat off his forehead and Elizabeth just shoots out tears. He sees this and Elizabeth wipes her eyes smiling.
"Yes. Yes you can." Elizabeth whispers
Josh sighs in relief really hard.
"Oh boy…that's a loud of my mind."
Elizabeth continues to smile and moves in closer to Josh. She grabs Josh's hands and he holds them.
"So with that out of the way…" Elizabeth asks
"Yeah, with that out of the way now…"
"Would you like…', Josh blinks, 'To pick up where we left off last night?"
Josh blinks quickly and takes a deep breath.
"Uhhh…are you going to for some reason…', bobs head around, 'pass out again?"
Elizabeth stands up and Josh watches as she walks to his room.
"Only if you can keep me up."
Josh bites his fist as he puts it in his mouth.
"Ah! Whoever designed you, THANK YOU." Josh whispers looking up and standing up
Elizabeth makes it to Josh's Room.
"Ooooh Josh…"
"Coming! Just give me a minute!"

Josh stops dead in his tracks and shakes his head.
"That's not what I meant."
Josh walks forward. As he does he turns around.
"Oh, oh, oh, oh. Sorry. Not this time."
Josh runs ahead to his Room and slams the door.

With the relationship between Josh and Elizabeth finally settled. Things can move forward. Hopefully. Josh needs to check on all the characters from Game Central Station. When he arrives, panic erupts amongst the characters wondering what's going to happen to them. There living styles aren't great because their games are no longer plugged in, so Josh creates a 'home' for all the characters to stay. Perhaps at the bottom of the sea.
