Chapter 38

Sasuke woke up sorer than ever before. His insurance had called and sent out a rental car. He wasn't particularly interested in all the technicalities, but they would pay to have it replaced since it was totaled.

"Morning…" Naruto grumbled while sitting up. "How'd you sleep? You feel ok?"

"Everything hurts, but I'm sure I'll live." Sasuke answered softly.

"I saw we take the kids to Disneyland today. It'd be a nice breather. What do you say?
" Naruto said with a soft smile. How could Sasuke ever say 'no' to that…

Sasuke instantly wished he possessed the ability to say no to his beloved Naruto while waiting in the entrance line. Tegan was to small to give a damn, but Hiruzen was not compliant. All that energy seemed to be making him more agitated. Naruto shoved past some inconsiderate people and they walked past the gates and entered the theme park.

"This is main street! And if we pretend none of this exists the rides are just beyond it!" Naruto said with a grin and Kisame matched it. They both took off leaving behind the children that they came here for and their partners.

"Well then, I say you and I find a nice place to get something to eat and then find stuff the babies can actually do and buy them memorabilia before our idiots get back so we can then leave." Itachi said while pushing his daughter in her stroller.

Sasuke didn't say anything but followed his brother anyway.

They ate some Mickey Mouse waffles and took photos with the characters they could find. Sasuke searched all the rides they babies could go on and they took them on a few. Hiruzen enjoyed the Buzz Lightyear ride, although received a poor score. The carousel was a big hit, but the rest weren't living up to the Hiruzens standards. Sasuke and Itachi both had Mickey Mouse hats engraved and walked around the park looking at all the over priced merchandise. Although, Hiruzen and Tegan still ended up getting stuff. After the Haunted Mansion and two crying baby Uchiha's Sasuke and Itachi found a bench and let their children munch on snacks.

"We could just leave them here…" Sasuke proposed and leaned over looking at his brother.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea." Itachi said while rising and beginning to push Tegan back towards the entrance.

They reached Main Street right around when a very familiar blonde and extremely tall dark skinned man were spotted standing on top of a bench, looking for them instead of using their cell phones like normal people.

"BABE!" Naruto yelled at the top of his lungs before shoving through the masses of people.

"Yes?"

"Where we you guys going?"

"Home." Itachi answered boredly while Kisame played with Tegan a bit.

"Bastards… Can you guys wait about an hour at least. We got fast passes for Indiana Jones! We've done mostly everything so just hang out."

"Sure. We will wait while our two older children galavant around while ditching their children." Itachi said irked.

"Don't be mad Itachi. I bought you a present." Kisame said with a smirk.

"Oh?"

"Yes. Be good or you don't get it." Kisame said with a huge grin.

Sasuke and Itachi kept a closer eye on their bigger kids until it was time to head over for them to do the last ride of the day before they left prematurely. They decided to take the kids on the Jungle Cruise and managed to dodge a long line. They climbed on a boat with others and whereas Tegan couldn't careless, Hiruzen was excited.

Right about when they saw the Lion's "hugging" the zebra, Sasuke began to wonder why Disneyland had such dark elements and was called the Happiest Place on Earth.

"Aw, its so great to see Dad's taking care of their children!" A woman said looking over at them.

"Their wives must be the luckiest women alive." Her friend commented.

Itachi snorted. "They only have Dad's to care for them." Itachi said under their breath amused, but not willing to attack or correct the women.

Due to perfect timing, their other halves managed to get off their ride and walk up and kiss them before heading out.

Naruto took Hiruzen and listened to him make monkey noises.

"Sorry about ditching you guys… I feel bad about it…" Naruto admitted while thinking back on how he ran off, admittedly assuming he'd be followed.

"It's fine. You and Kisame wanted to go on the big kid rides and we didn't, so all of us got our ideal day at Disneyland." Sasuke replied with a smirk.

They drove back on the freeway deciding to stop in Buena Park to indulge in Medieval Times for dinner. Tegan and Hiruzen managed to cram a nap in before watching a live show on knights jousting and fighting and ultimately defeating the bad guy. They were in the red and gold section and smirked victoriously once they won and Tegan managed to get a flower since she happened to be one of the only girls in the section and there was a new policy on the flowers going to younger girls according to Naruto.

Sasuke stretched while walking out and they got into the SUV that they had been given and drove back to their little place.

"That was an incredible long day Naruto." Itachi almost complained while walking upstairs to give his daughter a bath from the spit up covering her dress.

"We need to make a point to go to all the theme parks together Uzumaki." Kisame said before chasing his husband upstairs.

"How are you feeling Sasuke?" Naruto asked once more."

"Don't ever drag me back there." Sasuke said with pleading eyes.

"Fine you anti-social bastard." Naruto said laughing.

Hiruzen was about to fall asleep any moment and Sasuke patiently waited for him to just pass out on the floor. Naruto went and fed the animals.

Itachi and Kisame drove back to Sasuke and Naruto's other house which Naruto was still completely in the dark about. Sasuke climbed upstairs with his son and put him to bed completely clothed still and went into him room taking an aspirin.

Naruto snuck into Hiruzen's room to change him and get him comfortable. Naruto snuck back in and curled up neck to Sasuke willing anything that could go wrong for the rest of their lives to just not go wrong.

Everything wedding wise seemed to be coming together and his mother and grandmother straightened his grandfather out ahead of time. Naruto had tried to tell Sasuke what happened and was irked when he said, "I already know." At least the guilt wouldn't eat away at him.

Karin for her part apparently had tried to stop the marriage, all the way from her prison cell, but luckily that got squashed immediately. Now it was time to just enjoy.

Kiba drove up and to and took Naruto out for a bachelor party of sorts the night before rehearsal. Sasuke took that time to play monopoly with his brother, which Kisame decided they both took way to seriously. The babies both watched some mind numbing show called about colors and Itachi ended up throwing the remote at Kisames face when he started getting to into it.

"You ready to be a married man?" Itachi asked placing more houses on his properties.

"Yes."

"Do I need to through you a bachelor party?"

"Please don't."

"We will just say we threw one for each other then."

"Agreed."

"You're both incredibly lame…" Kisame said glancing over to them.

The next day Sasuke and Naruto drove to their rehearsal space which was not the venue. Apparently the setup for the wedding would not be able to accommodate such a trivial thing as a rehearsal. It only took a few moments and went along smoothly. Naruto had decided to have Gaara become an ordained minister just for this special occasion. He was after all still upset about his clothes being dumped into the river in Paris.

They had dinner and a family style Italian restaurant and Naruto felt ridiculously calm because once Sasuke saw what tomorrow would bring he was sure the entire world was about to end.

A/N: *whistles whilst walking away with no explanation.* In all honestly, my life has fallen apart and I need to start school soon. Sorry about the short chapter. I moved very far from friends and family so it's taken a toll on me.
