It took some time that drinking the coffee took it's effect, so he had time to think over what he had done in the last few days. The cleaning up was as careful as he could do in his current state, but it was obvious that the police will find some clue of blood. Probably though nobody will have the idea to look inside the animatronics – why would they do that? The bodies are well packed, they can't smell that strong that anyone could notice it. The bloody clothes and tools are resting in the public landfill in the next town.

But it was a careless deed to not check his tie. Scott noticed the spot on it, but hopefully if he would ever remember it, he will always think of it as a spot of coffee. He fingerprints left on Spring Bonnie wasn't something to worry about – he touched that thing almost daily anyway. They can't see him on the monitors either, only in the suit, and as that suit looks like, it could be anyone inside.

The hairlocks of the children, those priceless trophies are hidden in his apartment. Although he didn't expect a house-search, not now and not in the future (he thought he us smart and reliable-looking enough to avoid suspicion), he was careful anough to hide them. And tried not even think about them, because then he felt so excited he couldn't focus on anything else, just the feel of those shiny little locks around his fingers.

But now, he can't let his guard down. Before this fuss is over, he better not touch them, not even at home. Maybe he could lead them on a false trail by mentioning atty's case, who disappeared last year? It's true that he killed her too, but the police thinks she was kidnapped. But Barney wasn't sure how much he should know about this case. No, it's better to left forgotten.

He didn't have a plan at the moment to mislead the police, but, he thought, he will make one in the next few days. When he sat back to his car and drove home, he didn't have any idea of his luck.

On the next day, when he arrived at Fazbear's, he met one of the hostesses, Mary, who looked terrified and shocked.

„The police has arrested Kyle!"

For moment, Barney didn't realize the thing he just heard. He almost heard as the police was coming for him, but suddenly he realized it is impossibel and he finally felt the shock. Kyle? The cleaner, and the person who wore Spring Bonnie the most often? Mary saw his shock which was real, he didn't have to pretend it.

„I don't know what happened, the investigators were here, with hand cuffs, they asked where Kyle Paulson is, and later I only saw them when they follow him to the police car!"

„I'll go and ask Scott. That's madness!" Barney answered, shaking his head.

„Please, tell me what you'll hear! Kyle can't be an evil pervert, can he? It's just a… a misunderstanding!"

„Of course, I'll tell you everything." Told her Barney with a comforting voice. He sounded really comforting although the name „evil pervert" annoyed him a lot. „I'm also in shock, I can't believe this!"

While going to Scott's office, Barney was wildly thinking. Kyle didn't kill those children, and also didn't kidnap them, that was obvious. What else could he done? Maybe he had a criminal record? Or maybe somebody saw him molesting children? Or maybe it is just a misunderstanding, they found some clues which – they thought – led them to Kyle, but they will soon realize that it leads to Barney? Or is it… just a trap to call forth the real culprit?

„Ah Barnes, you're finally here!" Scott exclaimed behind his desk. „Things gone to hell here… The detectives showed up and took Kyle! Can you believe this? Kyle, the cleaner and the yellow rabbit-man, as a pervert child-killer?"

„I really can't." Said Barney, looking badly surprised. „He never did or say anything weird. Could he be the cuplrit? And… what exactly did he do with the kids?"

„He denies it! We don't know what he did to them or that did he do anything at all, but when he started to beg me to tell the police that he is a good man, detective Watson told me not to believe to a child-abuser!"

„What?" Barney now really felt confused.

„Imagine! Our nice little Kyle was a damned, sadist bastard all along!" Scott seemed angry and disappointed. „His wife submitted a restraining order against him years ago, because he abused her and their two children. And when they left him, he stalked after them. One day he even wanted to kidnap his own little boy right before the school!"

„Oh my god, such a dick!" Said Barney, but inside he thanked to Kyle being such an asshole. That's a pretty good reason, being a child-abuser, to be the main suspect, not to mention he also wore the Spring Bonnie suit a lot. Thanks, Kyle!

„I don't want to believe it." Said Scott, desperately. „I don't want to believe that Kyle is a pervert, sadist coward, and he always has been!"

„I know, right?" Said Barney, slapping his shoulder friendly, ignoring the words „coward" and „pervert". „I was working with him every day! We can't be aware what's in an other persons heart."

„That's true." Scott sighed. „But I don't hold you up, go, change your clothes!"

Barney turned away, but suddenly looked back.

„And what about the restaurant? We don't have to shut it down, right?"

„No, fortunately… and I hope our guests won't scare away."

Barney nodded and stepped into the locker, with a satisfied smile. The police found a suspect, the bodies were still not found, the restaurant won't shut down, his name is still clear… could things went better?

He started to croon while dressing. Everything is nice and cool, just as it should be.
