Well it has been a while since I updated this for which I can only apologise, the last chapter I posted was the last I had already written of this story and I will have to be honest in saying I have been putting most of my time and energy into writing Drowning rather than this. In saying that though I am still enjoying writing this story so it will be finished, in fact there aren't many chapters left to go now, I can't remember how many off the top of my head as I have lost the piece of paper that had the plan for this story on it. I have written this chapter tonight after work and am extremely tired. I have read it through but can only apologise if there are any mistakes.

Anyway here goes, it's wedding time...

Chapter Thirty Eight

Naomi

I woke up alone in my bed the following morning and it felt so empty without Emily beside me but I quickly smiled as I thought about why I was waking up alone… today was the day I was going to marry the girl of my dreams, the love of my life and I couldn't wait. Effy wandered into my room and smirked "You ready then Campbell your mum is on her way with your dress, it is time to turn you into a bride."

I smiled "I love her so much Eff, today is going to be amazing."

Effy returned my smile "I know you do you soppy git."

I laughed "I'll admit it; she has stolen my heart and turned me into a complete softy. Now before I start getting ready I need coffee, there is only so much happiness can do to wake a person up in a morning."

She laughed once again "There is some already made downstairs."

A while later I was filled with coffee and had reluctantly had something to eat, however much I was looking forward to marrying Emily it didn't stop the nerves creeping in which always made my appetite vanish. Effy was standing behind me pinning my hair up in all sorts of places as I was deep in thought, she must have picked up on something, I should have known really Effy picked up on everything "What are you so deep in thought about?"

I took a deep breath "I'm just getting nervous, what happens if she doesn't turn up Eff?"

Effy laughed "Sorry I shouldn't laugh but I can't believe you have just asked me that, of course she is going to turn up, the pair of you are completely smitten with one another and can't spend a second apart unless you really have to or you are made too. You are always all over each other and I don't see that changing any time soon so get that out of your head now."

I laughed a little "Yeah true… I guess it's just the nerves talking."

Effy continued to pin my hair up and then began with my make up, we had some soft music playing in the background as my excitement and nerves battled with one another. Mum brought me out of my thoughts as I heard her voice travelling up the stair "I'm here love, can I come up?"

I shouted back down "Yeah, I'm in Emily and I's room."

She quickly made her way upstairs with my dress. It didn't take long for Effy to finish my make-up and I spun around on my chair to my mum. She smiled widely "You look gorgeous darling."

I smiled "Thanks mum."

She held up my dress "Let's get you into this shall we."

I nodded "Yeah."

A while later I was all tied into my dress, it had taken them a while to fasten me in but between them they had managed. Originally I wasn't going to wear a dress but I decided to surprise Emily and went for it. I knew she would love me whatever I was wearing but I wanted to make today special for her and I wanted to look my best. Effy and Mum were now downstairs as I had asked for time on my own. I had perched on the edge of my bed thinking about Emily as I picked up my phone quickly typing out a text "I love you so much and I can't wait for you to be my wife xxx"

I didn't know if Katie would let Emily have her phone on her but I soon found out as my phone beeped "I love you too more than words can ever express. I can't wait to be Mrs Campbell xxx"

I couldn't help but smile as I picked myself up from the bed I shared with my gorgeous girl and slowly made my way downstairs, mum was standing at the bottom with her camera and I swear a tear slipped from her eye "You look stunning love."

Effy was nodding behind her before we all made our way into the living room where Effy produced a bottle of fizz "I think a toast is in order before the car arrives."

Emily

I had fun with Katie last night but I sure as hell missed Naomi, I missed the warmth of her body next to me, I missed being able to kiss her and hold her close to me but I also knew it would be worth it today, the day I finally get to become Mrs Campbell. I was quickly broken from my thoughts as Katie came bouncing into the room I was staying in "Ok lezzar time to get up and get ready, it's going to take me some time."

I threw one of the pillows from the bed at her "Bitch."

She smiled "You know I love you really."

I raised my eyebrows "It's a good job I do."

Before Katie started her work on me as she so lovingly put it I had several cups of coffee and some breakfast, as usual I was starving and unlike Naomi nerves do not put me off my food. Katie could never believe how much food I can put away sometimes but today she didn't make any snide comment she just let me eat. Following breakfast she led me back upstairs and sat me on the chair in her bedroom first working on my hair and once this was done she applied my make-up, stepping back once she had finished to admire he handy work "Hmmmm not bad if I do say so myself."

I couldn't help but laugh nothing was going to get me down today. She then pulled my dress out from her wardrobe and helped me into it. I swear once I was ready I saw a tear in my sisters eye; I pulled her into a hug "Thank you Katie you are the best sister."

She tried not to smile but I could see it creeping across her lips "I'm your only sister bitch."

She released me from the hug as the doorbell rang "I'll go get it, you come down when you are ready."

I nodded ok and sat down for a minute. I could hear Katie talking to someone downstairs but I couldn't make out who it was, I gave up trying to work it out as my phone beeped on the side, I smiled seeing it was from Naomi "I love you so much and I can't wait for you to be my wife xxx"

My smile widened as my heart beat quickened my fingers quickly typing a reply "I love you too more than words can ever express. I can't wait to be Mrs Campbell xxx"

I chucked my phone into Katie's bag and made my way downstairs, as I made my way into the living room I was surprised to see my dad standing with Katie, as he saw me he had a tear in his eye "Oh Emsy you look beautiful."

I smiled "Thanks dad." I paused a little confused "I thought we were meeting you at the church."

He nodded "I know I was meant to but I just wanted to see my baby girl before everyone else."

I hugged him "Love you dad."

He kissed the top of my head "Love you too Emsy."

He picked up a bottle from the side "I brought this so I can toast my baby girl getting married."

I smiled as Katie brought through some glasses "Sounds good to me."

Naomi

Emily and I had decided to have the service and the reception at the same hotel and soon I found myself standing in the small room adjoining the room I would soon be making my vows in with my mum and Effy. Cook poked his head around the door "Everything ok Blondie?"

I smiled "Great thanks Cook."

He smiled "Good, I have a certain young man who is dying to see his mummy Naomi."

I smiled as Luke came bouncing into the room and flung his arms around me "Mummy Naomi you look beautiful."

I hugged him tightly "And you young man are looking very handsome."

His smile grew "Mummy Emily tells me I always look handsome."

I laughed "Well Mummy Emily is right." I paused "Luke have you seen mummy Emily yet."

He shook his head "No I am going to see her now."

He released me from the hug and ran back over to Cook "Can we go see mummy Emily now Uncle Cook then they can get married."

Cook laughed as he nodded "Come on then little man."

I smiled as Cook took Luke back out the room; I was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves as I knew it wasn't going to be long until I could make my vows in front of Emily and the few family and friends we had invited.

Mum wandered over to me "You ok love?"

I nodded "Yeah I'm good.

She hugged me "I'm proud of you love, you've put your life back together after almost giving up and now you are marrying someone I know you love with all of your heart, you didn't run from your feelings like I thought you would. I wish you and Emily every happiness."

I smiled "Thanks mum."

As she released me from the hug the music Em and I had chosen began playing and I knew the time had come, the time I got to make Emily my wife.

Emily

I had made my way with Katie and my dad to the hotel Naomi and I had chosen to spend our special day, I was so excited as the time drew closer. I was standing in a small room adjoining the room where I was about to make my vows. Katie was fussing over me but I couldn't bring myself to care right now nothing was going to spoil my day today. There was a light tap on the door that Katie quickly opened, I assumed it was Cook as Katie pulled him close and kissed him hard "I missed you so much last night babe."

I heard Cook's slightly gruff tone "I missed you too babes but right now I have a certain young man that would like to see his mummy Emily."

I couldn't help but smile as Luke came running in, I scooped him up into my arms and showered him with soft kisses "How is my baby boy."

He shook his head "I'm not a baby mummy Emily."

I laughed "You will always be my baby boy and might I add you are looking extremely handsome."

He smiled "That is what mummy Naomi just said to me."

I smiled "You've seen mummy Naomi."

He nodded "Yeah she looks beautiful just like you."

I showered him with a few more kisses "Mummy Naomi always looks beautiful."

He nodded as I put him back down on the floor, he ran back over to Cook "Is it time now Uncle Cook?"

Cook nodded "It sure is young man so come on let's go take our places."

Luke took hold of Cook's hand as he smiled back at me "See you soon Mummy Emily."

I nodded "You will do little man."

Dad hugged me as I heard the music playing that Naomi and I had chosen "Are you ready love."

I smiled "I sure am dad."

With that he linked his arm with mine "Let's do this then."

As I followed Katie down the make shift isle with my dad by my side I glanced across the room to see my gorgeous girl with her mum walking in the same direction and fuck me she took my breath away. I never imagined Naomi would wear a dress and never mind a dress that hugged her in all the right places making my skin warm. As the music came to an end Naomi was standing directly in front of me, my breath caught in my throat as she took my hands in hers. I smiled "You look fucking gorgeous babe."

She returned my smile "So do you, you took my breath away when I saw you walking down earlier."

As the registrar stepped up in front of us smiling I linked my fingers with Naomi's as we turned to face the front of the room. I kept on glancing at Emily I couldn't help it as she spoke to our friends and family, thankfully nobody objected to our marriage and we quickly progressed to making our vows. I turned to face Naomi a smile on my face as I looked deep into her gorgeous blue eyes "Naomi when I found you I never dreamed that we could be together, I never dreamed we would find the happiness that we have but we did and I will always be thankful for the day I walked into your hospital room. I have fallen in love with you in a way that I never thought was possible and you have completely changed my life for the better and taken my breath away. We have a gorgeous young man in our lives and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life as Mrs Emily Campbell."

A tear slipped from Naomi's eye as she smiled squeezing my hand in hers "I love you more than words can ever describe Emily, I gave up on love a long time before I met you and then you came wandering into that room in hospital and gave me a new lease of life, you weren't afraid to be hard on me and you didn't take my shit which only made me love you more. I know our love is only going to grow stronger as we grow old together with our handsome young man. My life is with you Emily and I can't wait for you to be Mrs Emily Campbell."

A tear of my own slipped from my eye as I listened to Naomi's gorgeous words. I hadn't even noticed Luke step up beside us holding out the rings I was completely lost in Naomi's eyes. The registrar brought us out of our trance "Emily can you repeat after me…"

I smiled at Naomi once again getting lost in her eyes "Naomi this ring I give you, my personal gift and my personal promise, of love and trust, and pride that you are my wife."

The registrar then turned to Naomi "Naomi can you repeat after me…"

Naomi gazed into my eyes, eyes that I could see were full of love "Emily this ring I give you, my personal gift and my personal promise, of love and trust, and pride that you are my wife."

I couldn't take my eyes off Naomi as the registrar began speaking once again "You have declared before all of us that you will live together in marriage. You have made special promises to each other, which have been symbolised by the joining of hands, taking of vows and the giving and receiving of rings. By the authority vested in me I now pronounce you married. You may now kiss the bride."

I wasted no time in finding Naomi's lips I had wanted to do this since I first saw her earlier on in the day and I was definitely not disappointed. I ran my tongue along her bottom lip begging for entry I was quickly granted as the kiss became more passionate. I knew I never wanted this moment to end. We finally pulled apart though as Cook piped up behind us "Now now ladies you are in public."

Naomi turned to him smirking "That's never bothered you before."

He laughed "I am a changed man now although…"

Katie smacked him on the arm in that moment causing him to stop what he was saying and Naomi and I both laughed as we linked our fingers both feeling incredibly happy.

Naomi

Marry Emily had been the best thing I had ever done I can honestly say I have never felt happier, following the ceremony we had some photos taken before moving into the room we had chosen for our reception. The meal was lovely and I couldn't take my eyes off my gorgeous bride throughout. The speeches were interesting Rob's was heartfelt and full of love for his youngest daughter whereas Cook's was a little more vulgar but funny all the same, just what you would expect from Cook really. It was when Luke stood up that we were both taken by surprise, he stood on the chair with Cook supporting him to prevent him from falling "Mummy Emily and Mummy Naomi got married today and they both looked gorgeous and they both looked happy. They have made my life happy and I am happy that I got to be here today." He turned to Emily and I "I love you both mummy Emily and mummy Naomi."

I pulled him down from the chair so he was lying across both of our laps as we both showered him with kisses all over his face "We love you too little man."

Eventually he had wriggled away from us and ran back to safety of Cook who was laughing. Everything was cleared away and the room was transformed for the evening celebration, I certainly enjoyed the first dance I had with Emily as I had pulled her close and held her tightly as we moved our bodies together in that moment, a moment where I honestly felt like we were the only two in the room.

Over the course of the evening I was separated from my gorgeous wife as we mingled chatting to our family and friends but we soon found our way back together and spent time dancing together with our guests. We quickly made our way upstairs to our waiting room and I literally dragged Emily inside. We stripped one another quickly and I pushed Emily back onto the bed and crawled up her body. She wrapped her arms tightly around me and pulled my lips down to hers. I ran my tongue along her lips and she quickly granted me the access I desperately wanted. Our tongues duelled as the passion rapidly took over. Emily groaned against my lips sending vibrations running through my body. I shook my head and kissed her hard "No I have other plans for you right now."

She smirked "Oh you do, do you."

I kissed her hard again and loved hearing her groan underneath me as I made quick work of making her writhe beneath me all over again.
