Episode 14: Gamble and Lose
Part 3: The next day during school, Donovan had to dig up the courage as he slowly approached Nick at his locker.
"Hi," Donovan said. Nick turned his head and said,
"Sup."
"Ummm. Look…"
"Save it," said Nick, slamming his locker shut.
"It wasn't what it looked like," said Donovan.
"Really 'cause where I was standing seem like a date to me," said Nick. "You blew me off just to be with that punk ass bitch."
"It wasn't like that okay. He basically forced me to go out with him. He said that he'll hurt you if I didn't go on a date," confessed Donovan.
"News flash, allow me to fight my own battles 'aight. Meaning, you didn't have the right to make that decision without consulting me," Nick said angrily.
"And I'm sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing," said Donovan.
"That's your problem. You over think too much. I'm so done with this," He started walking as Donovan ran over and stood in front of him.
"You cannot be serious Nick. You…claim that you love me. You can't just turn that off and on like a light switch," said Donovan with a shaky voice. Nick's facial expression changed to a serious nature as he said,
"Watch me," walking passed him. Donovan's heart was pieces from those two words. So was Nick as he didn't mean it. If what Sal said was true then the further he is away from Donovan, the safer he will be.
