Ben's P.O.V

I was in the obelisk blue dueling arena and I was thinking over a strategy for how to beat Jesse's deck and I had a feeling that this would be the most difficult duel in my life here so far. As the class filed in I said "okay time for the finals of this tournament and I hope that most of you have learned a lot from these duels."

I walked up onto the dueling arena and me and Jesse activated our duel disks and I said "why don't you go first" and he said "fine" and drew a 6th card. "first I activate the magic card wave-motion cannon during each of my standby phases it gathers 1000 points of damage and anytime during one of my turns I can send it to the graveyard to deal the number of life point damage to you.

I will end my turn with one facedown card" and I drew and my hand contained alien hero brainstorm, alien hero bullfrag, alien hero fourarms, primus, mystical space typhoon, trap stun. "first I activate the field spell primus which lets me summon any alien hero monster from my hand. Now I summon alien hero brainstorm and I activate his effect.

When he's normal summoned I can destroy one of your set spell or traps on the field and I choose your one facedown. Now I activate mystical space typhoon to destroy your wave-motion cannon and now alien hero brainstorm attack his life points directly." His life points dropped to 2200 and I said "now I set this card facedown and I end my turn."

He drew his next card and said "I set these three cards facedown and end my turn" and I drew alien hero eyeguy. "Now I summon alien hero Eyeguy in defense mode and with his effect you're forced to reveal every card in your hand and every card drawn. Now alien hero brainstorm attack his life points directly" and he said "no because I activate my facedown card mirror force" and I said "in chain to that I activate the trap card trap stun.

This trap card negates all your trap cards for the duration of the turn" and he said "dang it" as his life points dropped to 400. He drew and said "now I activate another wave-motion cannon and I set this card face down and end my turn." I drew alien hero Alien x "now I will attack your directly with alien hero brainstorm" and he said "nope because I activate my facedown card negate attack which stops your attack and ends the battle phase."

I said "fine i end my turn" and he drew and said "I pass" and I drew pot of greed "I activate the magic card pot of greed to draw two more cards from my deck" I drew alien recovery and alien hero snare-oh. "Now I summon alien hero bullfrag and I activate alien recovery with this I can send one alien hero monster from my field to the grave and add one that is in there to my hand.

I choose to destroy bullfrag just to add him back to my hand" and he said "but why would you do that" and I said "Because when he is sent to the graveyard I can choose one card from your hand and add it to mine and I pick poison of the old man." I walked up to him and took poison of the old man and walked back to my side of the field and put my hand in front of me.

"I end my turn" and he said "I set this card face down and end my turn" and I drew alien hero grey matter. "Now I summon alien hero grey matter in attack mode and I activate his effect grey matter build trap stunner." In less than a minute a small device appeared in his hands and it was sending a pulse toward Jesse "what is the meaning of this."

I responded "the special effect you see while grey matter is on the field no trap cards can be activated in response until after the damage step. Now alien hero brainstorm attack him directly and finish this" and brainstorm shot a beam of lightning at him and dropped his life points to zero and the holograms disappeared. I said "okay since I won and the prizes are cards from my personal collection second place Jesse gets 3 ultra-rare cards.

Third place Alexis Rhodes gets 3 semi-rare cards and forth place Jaden yuki gets 3 common cards and the rest of you I hope leave this tournament with knowledge. As I was about to leave I saw out of the corner of my eye that something silver was coming toward me. Using the reflexes I gained from my work as a plumber I dodged it with just a second to spare. I looked over to where the thing had landed and I saw that it was a knife and turned around and saw Jesse but there was something wrong with his eyes. Instead of the striking green they were red and he had a look of anger on his face.

I said "look just because you lost to me isn't a reason to throw a knife at my head" and he said in a voice that sounded evil "I demand a rematch where if you win I give control of this body back to Jesse but if you lose I get to kill you." I thought for a second that if he won I would just defend myself with one of my aliens I said "you got a deal."

I shuffled my deck as did he and we both activated our duel disks and he said "since I am the part of Jesse that was born from hatred and I have more knowledge then he did you may go first" and I said "fine" and drew my 6th card. My hand contained alien hero Diamondhead, alien hero Rath, alien recovery, alien destruction, magic cylinder, and magic jammer.

"First I summon alien hero Diamondhead in defense mode and set this card face-down and end my turn." He drew and said "I activate the magic card crystal destruction thanks to the power of this magic card I can remove all the crystal beasts in my deck and send it to the graveyard. Now I remove the 7 crystal beasts in my grave to summon the all-powerful rainbow dragon.

Now rainbow dragon attack his alien hero Diamondhead with rainbow light" and I countered "not so fast I activate my facedown card magic cylinder which absorbs your attack and redirects it at your life points." The blast went into one of the cylinders and out of the other and hit Jesse and his life points hit zero and he a dark aura covered him and he eventually fell face-down on the arena.

I walked up to him and said "are you okay" and he looked up and said "what happened" and I said "well after you lost our duel in the finals you were possessed by a spirit that said it was born from your hatred of something. We dueled again and he made a foolish move and lost in his first turn." He said "that would explain the headache I guess" and I said "yeah because I know that being possessed gives someone a headache."

We then walked out of the duel arena and went our separate ways me toward Alexis's and my dorm room so I could tell her what happened and Jesse going wherever he usually went.

So this is another chapter complete I would like to apologize again for not updating as frequent as usual because we have been going thought all the stuff and closing account since my father died at the end of May. I have also been trying to catch up on sleep because a few nights ago was the first restful sleep I have had since my father died.
