The family stood at the foot of the lake as a boat inched toward them. Emma had been working to save them all along, and had to let Hook go. And now the man she could love lay in the underworld. Emma took a step forward, no longer the dark one, nor the savior but someone more real.

Regina stood there staring at Emma.

Emma cast her a shattered glance.

"Regina you made me use my dark magic to save him. You chose him. I had to save killian, he was all that was left for me, he understands me…"

Regina's tears started to fall.

"Emma…"

Emma stepped away.

"It's not wrong for you to want love Regina, but I deserve it too…"

Regina wanted to tell Emma that Emma was wrong. She would choose Emma if she had the chance to choose again. She had wanted to save Robin from dying because her fear was that maybe Emma and her were not meant to be together. Maybe the world wouldn't approve of her and the savior, but she was allowed to have the theif, she was allowed to be loved by someone like him, even if she knew deep down she didn't love him.

"Emma, I…"

Emma shook her head and dropped the dark one act.

"I get it Regina. I saved your life, and you are grateful."

Regina wanted to go to Emma but something held her back, hadn't she hurt the blond enough?

Snow looked up

"Emma were coming with you."

Charming grabbed her hand, "Me too. We're not losing out daughter again."

Regina stepped up, "You can't stop us. You'll need us in the underworld Emma."

Emma's eyes watered as she looked to Regina. "You would come with me, to hell?"

Regina smiled sadly, "I owe you one Swan." Emma could see the loss in her eyes.

"We all deserve a happy ending."

Emma watched as her family refused to move from her side, Robin and Henry walking forward as well.

Emma turned and called the boat that would take them far far below this world, to the soul she had condemned.

"Hook I will find you."

…..

The residents of storybrook arrived in the underworld all shocked to see they appeared right next to the clock tower.

"What the hell?" Emma spun around quickly taking in the surrounds that looked too much like storybrook.

Regina walked up and touched her arm to steady her, "Looks like someone has a sick fantasy…" Her lips pulled down in a cautious look as she surveyed their surroundings.

She slowly took her arm away giving Emma's arm a light squeeze.
