A/N: My name is RoseGoldExile and I'm a tumblr addict.
Hi.
Chapter Thirty Seven: Ley
Damon held me from behind as we watched the sunrise. I'd always hated scenes like this in movies and television shows because they seemed corny, but sitting here now I could see how wrong I was. The sunrise, especially one in Charm City, was beautiful. From the roof we were sitting on, we could see the tiny bits of mineral glittering on the ground. When I looked at Damon's arms, firmly wrapped around my waist, his skin was brightening with the reddish gold glow.
"We can stay like this." He said in my ear. "Just you and me."
I nodded. "I think about it all the time."
"You could go to school here. I could manage one of Melissa's clubs. The University of Baltimore has great academics."
"You sound like a pamphlet." I smiled.
He kissed my cheek.
And honestly I didn't want anything else. Sitting here, swinging my legs off the ledge of a roof with my boyfriend watching a sunrise was pretty much it. I could watch the paleness of his skin reflect the light and he could hold me and talk to me all day. The idea was golden, something that if I put a lot of effort behind could maybe even happen.
Of course then, who would save his brother and my friends?
It wasn't lost on me that Damon and I were the ones who handled everything. As long as there was something to be handled, neither of us was ever going to leave Mystic Falls. It was like a magnet, a dangerous one. It would pull us back in and hold us there until we either got killed or yanked away from it somehow. Everyone liked to pretend Damon's morals were shit, but really he was the one with the golden heart. He always came back to Mystic Falls because there was always something to come back to.
It only fueled my desire to get everything done. I would get him away from Mystic Falls. I would give him a life truly worth living.
I hated to break up the moment. "We need to go."
He chuckled in my ear. "Guess you don't want to stay."
"Oh I definitely want to stay." I said. "Which is why we need to go."
"That doesn't make sense."
"It will."
Damon got dressed and I pulled his blazer around me. He'd ripped the hell out of my dress and the only things that seemed to have made it were my panties and bra. Both of which were black and matched the blazer perfectly. The way he looked at me when I slid my feet in my heels made me shiver a little. I don't think I'll ever get used to him being so attracted to me.
I don't think I'll ever get used to him wearing black.
"We're back to being honest with each other right?" he asked as he buttoned his shirt.
I nodded. "Completely."
"After you saved me and we were in my room," he said. "I asked you why Stefan didn't go with you. You told me they were keeping Jonas busy, but that wasn't the truth."
I folded my arms. "It wasn't."
"Jonas and Alex were planning on kidnapping you later that day. They were talking about it in front of me. I don't know how much time passed before they left and you showed up, but I know Stefan and the others weren't with him."
"You never told me that." I said.
"You got naked before I could." He smirked.
I tucked my hair behind my ear.
"Where were they?" he asked, face blank.
"Katherine told us where you were." I said. "Only one of us could go with her. I'd already made up my mind about it being me. He didn't want to risk Elena's safety leaving her alone. He came up with a plan to get the truth out of Jonas, I got Matt and Jeremy to distract him and Elena before it happened."
Damon's face stayed blank.
"They wanted me to go inside of Jonas's mind and get the location. Stefan would ride with Katherine while me, Caroline, and Alaric would follow them. Once we found the place or tried to at least, we would get in and get you out. Katherine told us you didn't have that much time. Stefan had his way and I…"
"Did something else." He said in a low voice.
"Yeah."
Damon's face may have been blank, but I could feel the emotions warring inside of him. Anger that I'd had to save him alone, annoyance at Stefan's lack of planning skills. Understanding at Stefan keeping Elena safe and attempting a solid rescue. Hurt because he still hadn't come first, even when he needed to.
"Stefan was only doing-"
"I know." He said. "I get it."
I watched him closely.
"We need to go." He said, emotional walls rebuilding themselves. "Roman's probably pissed."
He came up to me and wrapped his arms around me tight, then launched us into the sky.
By the time we got back to Roman's it was a little after ten. I ignored the looks of people we passed and ducked under Damon's arm into the apartment building. He was quiet on the elevator, but he held my hand and squeezed it a couple of times. I could feel him, but he'd gotten better at keeping his thoughts away from me. It was exactly what I was afraid of.
When we stepped inside, Roman was coming out of the back. He looked at the both of us as he stepped into the kitchen and got a blood bag out of the refrigerator. When he came back out, he leaned against the wall and sipped from it slowly.
"Roof sex?"
"Yep." Damon said.
"Ah," Roman said. "Never gets old. We meet Daniel on campus when you're ready."
After Damon and I got showered, amongst other things, we got dressed. Roman wanted to hang out a little, but I told him we could do it later. If the Originals were going to be taken out, I needed to get started on it sooner rather than later. More than anything, I needed to start coming up with plans for my magic. I was absolutely not going to give them more power and I wasn't harnessing anything under any means to help them. My father was taken care of, Damon was back on my side, and I had magic coming out of my ears.
A battle plan needed to be formed.
I slipped my arms into the deep red button down and pulled my jeans up. Damon pulled his shirt on over his head and fastened his belt. The both of us caught the other one staring multiple times and smiled whenever we did. It was times like this, small moments, that made me realized how much I loved him and how far I would go for him.
When I thought back over it, I'd always wanted to know more about my magic for me. And while that was still the case, I wanted more than anything to get and stay stronger just for him. Things changed when you were in love, I discovered. I wanted to be the best version of myself for me, but also for him. Getting rid of the Originals would be the beginning of giving Damon the world. It was something I wanted to do and it didn't involve Elena.
I felt more confident in my abilities already.
"Matt knows about us." I said randomly.
Damon raised an eyebrow. "Do I need to kill him?"
"No," I said. "He's fine with it, actually."
"Hmm. Good shit Donovan."
"And," I continued. "Caroline knows too."
"You told Barbie?"
"I left my lip gloss in your car. She's known for awhile."
"I take it Elena knows too?" he said.
Something was weird about his voice. "No, Caroline didn't tell her. Is it a problem if she does?"
"No."
I finished buttoning my shirt and looked at Damon. "We're still being honest with each other, right?"
"You're about to make me regret that, aren't you?"
"Elena tried to kiss you." I said as I held his gaze. "When?"
"Who told you that?"
"You just did." I said. "I'm not mad, Damon. I'm asking you about it."
He sighed. "It was the day I asked you about Shelia. We fought, I went home, she was upset about Stefan or something. She tried to kiss me and I shut her down."
I nodded.
"I told her I was with someone." Damon said.
"Thank you."
I sat on the edge of the bed, not facing him, and grabbed my flats. Was I insecure about Damon? No. if he didn't want to be with me, he wouldn't. I knew that much about him. The almost kiss thing…I honestly didn't know how to feel about it. He'd done the right thing, of course, but it's just never easy with people who have history together. It amazed me how you could be in the strongest of relationships but even the tiniest bit of doubt could slip through the cracks.
"You're upset." Damon said.
"I promise I'm not." I said. "I just wish Elena would decide what she wants. Compassion isn't always a good thing. I'm more annoyed at how she acted than what she tried to do."
"What do you mean?"
"Elena's always been compassionate and sensitive and in tune with everyone's emotions. The thing about that is that she's so consumed with trying to please everyone that she ends up becoming clueless about her own feelings and acting out. Kissing you would've been cheating on Stefan regardless of how she feels about him."
I felt Damon come closer.
"I know you told me she's just a friend to you," I said. "And I believe you. Boundaries just need to be set, I guess."
"Boundaries."
"Yes, boundaries." I said. "Stick with Moral Compass Salvatore, bitch, this one's mine."
Damon laughed. "He comes complete with a daylight ring and twenty Save Elena phrases."
I looked at him. "Furrowed brow also included."
"And what about me?" he asked. "Psycho Salvatore?"
"He comes with an all black wardrobe and the Nine Inch Nails discography."
"Bourbon sold separately." We both said.
He kissed me. "You don't have to worry about me and Elena."
"I wasn't."
"It's me and you." Damon said seriously.
"It better be." I said. "Or I'm cursing you bald."
Damon kissed me again. "Threatening me shouldn't be that cute."
"A Mr. Clean makeover won't be." I kissed him back.
Getting to the university was an experience. As we left Roman's side of town and ventured further out, I could see the human influence becoming more prominent. The magic was still in the air, but it wasn't as prominent. There were witches here, but where I could see someone levitating stones on Roman's street, things seemed a little more low key here. I mentioned it to Roman.
"The witches tend to stick closer to Melissa." He said. "They're here, but things get handled a lot swifter when you're closer."
"That makes sense." I said. "Instead of having to ride buses and trains, I could just walk to her."
"That's it, love." He smiled. "You should look around while we're here. You're coming here after all."
"Oh am I?" I smiled. "I might go to NYU."
"You'd like New York for a week and then hate it." Roman said. "The covens are coke whores, the music gets repetitive, and there's never any peace. Forty percent of being a witch is concentration. You'd sneeze and make a bus flip."
I laughed.
"Besides, who'd take care of Damon?"
"I'd be in New York." He said.
"You'd leave your brother? I doubt that."
"Eh," Damon said. "He'll be fine. Besides, every time we get together, it's chaos. I think we could use a break."
"Careful Damon," Roman nodded and put a hand on his chest. "You're dangerously close to making me proud."
The University of Baltimore didn't really look like what I'd always thought a college campus would, but maybe I watched too much television. The buildings were tall, half glass and brick, and looked more industrial than collegiate, but Roman told me the students here were pretty serious.
"I almost killed a frat boy because he wouldn't stop talking about physics. I met Einstein, I knew all of it already."
"You met Einstein?" I asked.
"Eh." Roman said. "In passing. He was on the verge of something and I went to see what it was. Loved his hair."
Of course he did.
Daniel's class was letting out when we got there. I'd been in a lecture hall before, taking credits over the summer when I was a sophomore, but this was much bigger. The girls who passed looked at Damon, but he rolled his eyes. Roman winked at guy and gave a dazzling smile. When the classroom was empty, Daniel welcomed us inside.
"It's good to see you guys again." Daniel said to me and Damon. He and Roman kissed. I thought it was cute.
"Likewise." I said.
"Roman said you found some things out about summer solstices and Mystic Falls." Damon said. "Anything good?"
Daniel nodded and nodded for us to follow him. There was a door in the corner of the classroom that led into a busy hallway, but we didn't have trouble keeping up. Damon held my hand as we walked and took Roman's advice and looked around. There were so many students, all wearing different things and trends and hairstyles. I saw a tie-dye shirt here and a Harry Potter robe there. Girls had messy buns and UGG boots despite it being reasonably warm outside.
Apparently college said screw fashion.
"Picking out future friends?" Damon asked.
"It's different here." I said."There's a lot going on. This is Mystic Falls High's student body right here."
"It's bigger the more you get out." Damon said. "Weirder too."
"I know we said college wasn't for you, but did you ever go?"
"Nah." He said. "I was there for most of the shit in the books and the inaccuracies pissed me off. The parties never stop being fun."
"I can't picture you doing a keg stand."
"Doing it with one arm and nobody holding me got me beads and a threesome."
"I'm not surprised."
Damon shrugged. "You could pledge a sorority."
"And pay money to be at the mercy of noise making bitches I may or may not like just to pretend to do community service? Nah."
"I can see you now." Damon said. "Greek letters, crazy color shades, bake sales, car washes."
"The last car wash I did, I set a girl's car on fire."
He smirked. "I like you."
When we finally got to Daniel's office, it was a decent sized room with two chairs. I sat in one, Daniel sat in the other, and he grabbed the papers off his desk and filled it with new papers from his desk.
"Roman told me a little bit about what's going on in your neck of the woods, and when he mentioned it, I wasn't sure there was a damn thing I could do about it."
"He sells himself short a lot." Roman smiled.
Daniel blushed. "Honestly, I didn't have any idea of what I was going to give you until I remembered that you're from Mystic Falls."
I smiled. "It's not really special."
"On the contrary!" Daniel exclaimed. "it actually is!"
He reached behind him and grabbed the globe from his window and set it on his desk. He spun it to the United States and stopped. It wasn't until I looked at the globe, really, that I saw it was covered in lines. I cocked my head.
"Do you know what these are?" Daniel asked.
"I think I've seen them before." I said. "They look familiar."
"They're Ley Lines." He said. "Alignments all over the world that seemingly connect ancient monuments and things together."
I nodded.
"In some places, there are more lines than others. Ley Lines connect different things and even give things their connections, but the main thing about them is that legend states that these lines that run beneath the Earth's surface contain mystical energies."
"This is where the pyramids are." He said, placing his finger on Egypt. He moved his finger along the line, over intersecting lines, and right over into the United Kingdom. "This is where Stonehenge is. Not really that special, but I'm getting there."
"Both of these, and all of these places have something in common. They're surrounded in legend of supernatural origin, and all have mystical qualities to them."
I nodded. "I've heard tales of magicians and aliens using Stonehenge."
"Exactly." Daniel said. "And there's a reason why these places have these legends. You're looking at it."
"The Ley Lines?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yes. Another legend about the Ley Lines is that they contain magic. They're interdimensional."
"Wait a minute." Damon said. "You're saying that there are lines underneath the earth that lead to other dimensions."
"I'm saying that's one of the possibilities for them, yes." Daniel said. "The lines themselves emit magic from them. There are few stories of people actually using them to cross into dimensions, but the stories that include dimension traveling usually happen in the intersection of a Ley Line."
"Where do these energies come from?" I asked. "That seems pretty random that the planet just has magic lines in it."
"Random, but not impossible." He said. "Nature is capable of plenty of things. You're one of them. Can you tell me the name of the first witch? Can you tell me where she got her powers from?"
I shook my head. "I can't."
"You need to take my class." He said gleefully.
Noted.
"My point is that nature has a bunch of things that can't be explained, but this is something that actually explains a lot of what's going on in your town. Why are there more supernatural occurrences in Mystic Falls than say…Oklahoma or Kentucky."
"Because those places are absolute bores." Roman chimed in.
"Correct, but also," he turned the globe again."What do you see?"
I looked. "There aren't as many Ley Lines here. Actually, the states are almost skipped all together."
"Right!" Daniel was excited. "Do you see where I'm going with this?"
"I'm in the ball park." I said.
"But not up to bat." Daniel said. "Maybe this will help."
Daniel put the globe back on the window and pulled out a map, spreading it over his desk. It was a map of the United States, with Ley Lines covering it, skipping a state here and there, but covering well known states and states you wouldn't even consider. New York, California, Nevada, Louisiana, Texas, these places were covered in intersecting lines. Florida, Maine, and Colorado were pretty scarce.
Virginia was weird.
Lines ran through it, but it was bordering on being kind of filled, but mostly not. As a matter of fact, there were three lines in it altogether. One swooped up north of it and the other two were going south of it. The other two swopped out too, but not before the intersected boldly into a small part of the state.
"Mystic Falls." I whispered.
"Ball Park?" Daniel asked.
"I'm coming up on a base." Damon said.
"Mystic Falls is on a Ley Line." Daniel said. "Two because of the intersection. That town has so much energy going through it, it's a wonder it hasn't imploded on itself. Magic is stronger there, the mystical happenings of the universe happen there."
"It sounds more interesting than it is. I promise."
"Ley Lines also attract the supernatural." Daniel said.
"What do you mean attract them?" Damon asked.
"There's a reason why your town gets so much supernatural action. The world of the supernatural is attracted to it. They don't know why, it's just something that pulls them towards it. They can never really stay away from it for too long."
"That's probably what brought Katherine to Mystic Falls." Damon said.
"And the reason why you and your brother keep going back." Roman added.
"Were you born in Mystic Falls, Bonnie?" Daniel asked.
"And raised." I said.
"You have a connection with the intersection." He said.
I thought of something. "An Original vampire, one of the first ever created, wants me to harness the power of a summer solstice."
"I could see why he would." Daniel said quickly. "Summer solstice carry mystical energies on their own. Couple that with intersecting Ley Lines…"
And then I understood.
Klaus didn't want me because I was the only earth witch in Mystic Falls. Klaus wanted me because I'd been born there. If what Daniel was saying was true, especially about the connection with its magic, that's why he wanted me to embrace my magic. Using the energy from the Summer Solstice would not only ensure that my magic would be strong, I'd also be drawing on the energy from Ley Lines.
And putting it right into the Originals.
"That's what he wants." I said.
"Who?" Roman said.
"Klaus." I said. "The magic that he wants me to use for the spell, it's solstice and Ley line magic. He wants both inside of him. He knows about them, I'm sure of it."
"Did Jonas tell you that?"
"I don't think he knew." I said. "He knew half of it, but not all. I think Klaus sold him something else. But why?"
"You said the lines could be used love, how?" Roman asked.
"There have been legends of people opening the Ley Lines, but they're few and far in between. "Some people say only gods and goddesses can do it. Other people say it can't be done."
"What happens if they're opened?" I asked.
"I guess that would depend on who's opening it." Daniel replied.
"You said supernatural things happen there. Comets could be one of them right?"
"Definitely so." Daniel said. "Comets, spells, everything is pretty much amplified within a Ley Line and especially in an intersection."
It was like the past six months of my life had been explained in one lecture.
"The thing you need to know is that the energy is unpredictable." Daniel said. "I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of your spells were off because of the stuff the lines were giving off."
"Is it directly tied to my magic?" I asked.
"No. Your magic comes from inside you, but it's like…it's kind of like you use your magic and the energy responds to it. If your magic is stronger than the energy at the time, your spell would be flawless. If your magic matches the amount of energy being emitted at the time, it can go either way. But if the Ley line energy is stronger than your magic, your spell could be completely chaotic."
"That explains a lot." Damon said.
I agreed.
"You're a powerful witch on your own, I can tell." Daniel said. "but if you harnessed the very energy your town is built on, you'd be hell."
"More than she already is." Roman said.
"Right." Daniel agreed.
Damon and Roman continued to ask questions, but I was in think mode. Daniel had not only given me the answers to questions I hadn't even had, but he may have given me a solution to the problem that was the Originals. There was someone else I needed to see.
"We need to see Melissa." I said.
Roman nodded. "Go ahead, I'm gonna stay behind for a bit."
Damon and I were off the campus in ten minutes.
"Your mind is racing." He said. "I can feel it."
"Today's the day I actually get away with doing that thing." I said.
He nodded. "That was a lot of information."
"And all of it was useful." I said. "I had no idea about the Ley Lines."
"Me either." Damon said. "That explains a lot."
"Like why you can't stay away."
"Exactly." Damon said. "There have been times outside of Elena where I just wanted to leave, but I never went too far. I was either at the lake or in town or in the woods, but I always hated the thought of leaving Mystic Falls. Even when I was newly turned the thrill of traveling the world died off faster than I thought. The longer I stayed away, the easier it became."
"But you always wanted to come back."
"Thus, here I am."
It made sense. So far, since I'd become a witch, I'd seen everything under the sun. Vampires, warlocks, witches, doppelgangers, werewolves, tombs, moonstones, hybrids. I'd seen trees that could kill vampires and spells that could render them unstoppable. I'd seen them be erratic for seemingly no reason.
It was the Ley Lines.
And I had a plan for it.
Getting to Melissa wasn't hard. She wasn't in the same place where Damon first took me, but with my magic, I found her easily. This time she was in an office building swarming with witches and vampires alike. Damon and I breezed past them all and headed right to her. Damon opened the door and I stepped inside. She didn't look surprised.
She was wearing a sheer white blouse and a white pencil skirt. Her hair cascaded over her shoulders in perfectly layered waves and stopped below her breast. She looked at me and Damon and waved her hand, closing the door behind us. I sat in the seat across from her. Damon stood next to me.
"I was wondering when you'd come see me, little sister." She smiled. "I see you've brought your familiar as well."
"Don't leave home without him." I said. "I need your help with something."
"As always, it's yours." She replied. "Has the book proven useful?"
"Extremely." I said. "But what I need isn't in there."
"Your doppelganger friend can't be helped." She said.
"I know, she's a lost cause." I said quickly. "I'm here about Ley Lines."
"Oh this is interesting." Her cat eyes glittered. "What about them?"
"That's how I can feel your magic through the city, isn't it?"
She nodded. "I channel my power through the line as a warning. This is my city."
Right. "Have you ever opened the line?"
Damon looked at me.
She blinked. "I've never thought to."
"Could you?" I asked.
"I suppose I could, if it were necessary." She said. "But doing something like requires major power."
"I have that." I said.
"I feel it." She said. "You did something, your magic is more prevalent."
"Long story." I replied.
"I'd love to hear it when you've got the time."
I nodded. "Done. So opening the Ley Line-"
"Opening the Ley Line isn't the problem." Melissa said. "Give a human the right spell and a sacrifice and they can open one. The problem comes in closing the Ley Line."
I hadn't considered that.
"Opening something as powerful as the line would mean unleashing powerful and unpredictable energies into this plane. Imagine trying to put your entire closet into a suitcase."
The mental picture was both comedic and discouraging.
"Not to mention, you're opening the entire line and who knows the effects it could have on anything it crosses. There are a lot of factors that go into it. You'd have to open the line, do what you needed to do, and close the line in a specific amount of time before things started happening. Even you have limits."
I was thinking fast today. "What if I did, like, a barrier spell. You know, keeping the power limited to the area and only opening a piece of the line."
"It could work," she nodded. "But it's something else your magic is going to. In addition to the other things you'd have to do, you'd have to make sure that barrier held as well. That's how magical exertion happens."
"But if it could be done…"
Melissa sighed. "it can be done, but it's just another way for you to risk your life for your friend."
"I'm not doing this for her." I said.
"Oh? Who for?"
I looked at Damon before I could stop myself.
"My, my." Melissa reclined and leaned back and crossed her legs. "A witch in love."
"You're not killing yourself for me." Damon said. "We've had this discussion."
"I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for us." I said.
"You still haven't explained how overdosing on magic is beneficial to our relationship. I keep missing that memo."
"As long as the Originals are out there, we aren't having peace. Elena's going to be in trouble. Stefan's going to help her. You're going to help Stefan. I'm going to helping all three of you. It's not going to end."
"And so you what?" Damon asked. "Open the Ley line? Use it's magic?"
"Toss the originals into it."
Melissa and Damon both froze.
"The way I've always read, portals and all that need some kind of sacrifice to be closed. The hard part isn't closing it, the hard part is it fulfilling its purpose. Opening it requires magic and so does closing it. The Originals are only what they are because of magic. Dump them into the Ley Line-"
"And it'll close." Melissa tilted her head slowly.
"If you kill them, you kill us." Damon said. "Caroline, Stefan, Me. We die if they do."
"We wouldn't be killing them." I said. "I use the magic from the solstice to desiccate them, open they Ley Line, and you, me, Stefan, and Caroline toss them in."
"Daniel said it's interdimensional." Damon replied. "If they land in some other fucked up dimension and die we could just drop dead."
"And if I close the line before they can get anywhere, they'll be floating in that energy. They won't be in this plane."
"Oh she is lovely." Melissa said. "I may have to get in on this."
"You'll help?" I asked.
Melissa reached behind her neck and unfastened one of the gold necklaces, levitating it over to me. When I held out my hand it landed softly in my palm.
"If you need the extra magic, channel me." She said.
"We don't even know if this is going to work!" Damon looked at the both of us.
"You're turning down a crazy plan?" I asked him.
He looked at me, sending his feelings through the bond. He was excited that I was happy and actually had a sound plan. He was astounded that I had thought of it so quickly. He was scared that I would hurt myself and terrified of what he would do if I did.
He was proud of me.
"Before we do any of that though," I said. "I need to test it."
"Test it?" Damon said.
"Right." I nodded looking between the both of them. "And I know just how I'm going to do it."
"Don't be coy, little witch, share with the class."
"In order for us to know if this is going to work, we need to try it. The only way for us to try it is to use an original."
"There's four of them." Damon said. "And they're all pretty close knit."
"Three of them." I said. "Elijah's daggered and we're going to keep him that way."
"So what are you suggesting?" Melissa asked.
"Are you okay with summoning two vampires into your city?"
"To rid the world of the Originals?" she nodded. "Yes."
"Then here's what we need to do." I said. "We need to get Kol Mikaelson here."
A/N: Yeah, I cut this chapter short.
But for good reason. The information aspect of this chapter, I felt (let me know), was pretty deep. Bonnie has a way to defeat the Originals, and I think it's pretty solid. The Ley Line thing was something I actually got from the books. Not the depth, but Fell's Church cemetery actually had ley lines under it and I wanted to play with that for a bit. I promised an action chapter and next chapter is going to open with it. I was going to add a couple more pages to this but eh…it felt long and drawn out. Besides, three things happened this chapter.
Things were learned.
Bonnie has more knowledge and a plan.
There's a set up for the next chapter and you're all going to love it. You don't fuck with Bonnie and get away with it. It's going to get real.
So the thing I'm hoping you guys can help me out with is the clarity. Let me know if you don't understand the Ley business. Let me know if you thought I could've explained it better. Let me know if you loved it. It was a bit of a filler chapter, but I wanted to get the plot back on track. Effervescent is going to be forty chapters. Maybe thirty nine.
Sad. Face.
But there's always Coil of course. Which I do need to work on.
Also Tyler Hoechlin. Tumblr put me back on. Not that I was ever off.
He just has the best smile. Ugh. And he's so nice. And that chest.
By the way, I blame you all for talking me into a tumblr. RoseGoldExileTumblrCom (insert Dots accordingly). I was happy in my existence and then I found tumblr and I literally reblog all day. Wake up. Reblog. Go to class. Reblog. Eat (if I remember to). Reblog.
Sacrifice a virgin so that Tyler Hoechlin will fall madly in love with me. Reblog.
Read, review, review, review.
OH! And I also love the Originals (the show). It was so good on Tuesday.
Love you guys. Follow me.
RGE.
