A late night kitchen run, eh? Hope you got some good food out of it and stayed out of trouble. One of us needs to manage to get a good education.
It sounds like you're having fun, though. I'm glad you've got Lily. She seems like she has a good head on her shoulders, as opposed to the rest of us. You mentioned Wizard Chess before. I'd actually like to take a gander at that sometime. It sounds interesting, have the pieces tell you what to do.
I'm doing well, still healthy and all that. I'm working hard where I am, but it's not all bad. I miss being at home, though. I miss it a lot. But, I'll go ahead and give you your first hint as to where I am!
Last night, I met one of the most interesting men I think I'll ever meet. He said he was an adventurer and went about rescuing people from various fates, and he told me a few of his stories. He appeared to have a missing finger or two, but he was really friendly. I've only met a few other people like him, and all at the place where I am now.
There's your hint! Stay out of trouble yourself, mate. I don't know if you've got exams or any of that madness coming up, but I hope you do well. Tell me about your classes again! I'm always so jealous that you get to learn all that cool stuff.
