Chapter 37 Kuro, The Pirate With 100 Plans

~With Luffy~

Kuro and Luffy stood ready to face each other off. One could only hear a breeze.

"Die." Kuro stated as he charged first.

"No way." Luffy said throwing his hands together.

"They Started!" The Neko pirates shouted.

Suddenly Kuro was grabbed by his arms and Luffy came at him full speed. Using two elastic bands, he managed to catch Kuro offguard but not for long. Kuro swung his arms in a half circle causing Luffy to loose balance and land on his back on the ground. Luffy didn't stay down long as he used the momentum to balance on one hand and swinging his body.

"Magi Magi - Scythe!" He mumbled as a purple energy once again formed into a blade to cut Kuro's legs but Kuro managed to dodge.

"And... pistol." Luffy continued making a motion with his hand as if it were a real gun. A small ball of purple emerged and soon grew to the size of a hand.

Kuro managed to dodge that too. He began to mock Luffy.

"This is so boring, I'm beginning to feel sleepy..." Kuro commented. He was convinced that Luffy would react angry and began to run at Luffy, Claw raised.

Only to jump over him and trying to crush his face in with his shoe. But Luffy backflipped to avoid the collision.

"Hrmm." Was all he said, wiping a bit of blood from where the Claw still got to him away. "You made me bleed..."

"That Strawhat kid was so scary and strong...! That's our Captain Kuro...! Kill him! Go Captain Kuro! Captain Kuro! Captain Kuro!"

Kuro pushed his glasses up. "DON'T CALL ME USING THAT NAME!" Kuro shouted at them.

"You still don't understand?" Kuro asked looking down at them. "The real purpose of this plan... is to eliminate the name "Captain Kuro" forever!" He explained once again.

"I'm sick and tired... making plans for ou reckless morons.. as my name became more and more notorious, the government's marines and professional bounty hunters kept coming after me, that really started to anoy me..."

Luffy got angry.

"That's why on that day, three years ago, I decided to kill myself..." Kuro continued with his monologue

"Tha...that day... it's that incident...!

~In memory~

"First mate Jango!"

"What is it?"

"Captain Kuro is looking for you!"

"Jango..." Kuro started, reading a book. "I want to leave the ship..."

"Huh...?! What are you talking about?!" Jango asked, completely shocked. "But this is your ship! And you're the Captain!" Jango tried to argue.

"You can be the next Captain. I don't think I'm suited for a pirate's life. I'm sick of this chaotic lifestyle." Kuro stated, having put down his book.

"Captain Kuro! Captain Kuro! A Marine Ship Is Spotted To The North! Again!? This Is The Third Time This Week!" The Neko pirates shouted. "Whaa. THEY'RE FIRING AT US!"

"See! They've come again." Kuro stated.

"We don't have a choice. We're doing things that get us hunted because of that, you've become notorious." Jango said.

"Yes... it's the name that draws them here. That's why I decided not to be Captain Kuro anymore." Kuro answered.

"Stop kidding yourself! You'll be hunted down by the governemet all your life until you're dead." Jango sighed.

"Then I will die and make myself disappear from the face of the earth." Kuro answered, seriously.

"Captain Kuro, what do we do about the marines? Should we blast them with the cannons?!" A crewmate asked.

"No, get me a small boat." Kuro answered as he walked past.

"Huh? A boat!?"

"The captain left all by himself what is he doing? He's heading to the marines alone... is he trying to turn himself in?" The crewmates asked themselves.

"They've stopped attacking, and there's been no movement over there. Maybe they killed the Captain!" The crew grew antsy.

"STEER THE BOAT OVER! MAN THE CANNON! EVERYONE PREPARE FOR BATTLE!" The crew prepared itself but as soon as they got a better look they realized something.

"All... All The Marines... ARE DEAD!" they shouted.

"...okay... let's start the plan..." Kuro commented.

"Eventhough he's our captain... his power still brings shivers down my spine. Yeah... the opponents were welltrained marines..." Sham and Buchi commented.

Kuro noticed a marine that was still alive and stepped on his neck. "Oh, you're not dead yet... you've got quite a nice face." Kuro stated.

"I won't beg for my life, if you're wanting to kill me, then do it now!" The marine stated.

"...your Jaw is broken...yet you still can say such crap. I'm impressed. I shal reward you with the head of "The 100 Plans Kuro" Kuro promised, smiling sinisterly.

"Your name is Captain Kuro. This tragedy was caused by you. One... two... Jango!" Jango hypnotised a random person.

"I am Captain Kuro. This Tragedy was caused by me. I am Captain Kuro..." The random person listed.

"...and, you're the man who captured Captain Kuro! Take him back to your bas and have him executed. One, two, Jango!" Jango hypnotised the marine as well.

"This is a perfect plan. Once the fake one is executed, Captain Kuro will disappear from this world..!" Kuro stated.

In the background Jango was shouting about how he captured Captain Kuro.

~Present Time~

"What happened that day has been essential for today's plan to be successful... my plan can only be complete when I have obtained wealth and peace. Do you understand now, kid...? I've spent three years doing this plan, it cannot fail!" Kuro finally finished his speech.

"I CAN'T LET YOU... DISRUPT MY PLANS!" Kuro shouted as he once again charged at Luffy.

Luffy gritted his teeth before he lifted a stone out of the crack that the fight between Zoro, Roger and Buchi caused to block Kuro's claws.

"So, it seems you can do more that just throw purple light around." Kuro stated, his claw deeply in the stone.

"That's right! I've been training... to become a pirate!" Luffy grinned as he turned the stone away from Kuro, breaking the five swords on one of his claws.

"WHOA! The 'Cat's Claws' are BROKEN!" the Neko pirates shouted.

"You said that you're sick and tired? If you're afraid of your name being known..." Luffy started, swinging the stone around to hit Kuro on the head. "... THEN HOW CAN YOU BE A PIRATE?!" Luffy shouted.

"My dreams are far greater than your plans!" Luffy stated, grinning proudly.

I forgot to mention that they won't be back till Cahpter 39, maybe~?
