Bella could not believe this. How dare Carlisle kidnap her. She had awoken to Esme patting her sweating head with a damp cloth. Of course, the first person she called for was embry but then she realized where she was.
"No! no! I should not be here! Why did you bring me here! I need to get back to embry!" she shouted as she stood on shaking legs.
"Please calm down Bella. As soon as Edward returns, we can leave" Carlisle said calmly
"Leave! Leave! I am not going anywhere with you except to see Embry! Let me go!" she yelled at Esme.
At that exact moment Rose, Alice, jasper and Emmet returned from hunting.
"Bella?!" Alice called out surprised. "What are you doing? Are you here for Edward!"
"Edward? NO! I was kidnapped and forced her and I need to leave!" Bella yelled. Was no one hearing her?
Without thought, Rosalie whipped out her phone and speedily text Edward. She could see Bella's distress and could tell she was telling the truth. Her eyes had dark bags under her eyes and looked very sick at the same time a howl was heard.
"Wolves" jasper hissed.
"We need to keep them away. we had a deal." Carlisle hissed
"Enough of this! Carlisle this wrong! You heard Edward after the battle! He decided to let Bella go! The volturi thinks she's dead, its need to be kept that way!" Rosalie hissed.
"No. Edward loves Bella. She is his chosen mate."
"Carlisle enough, stop this!" it was Edward. He and Jacob had entered the house.
"Jacob!" Bella cried out in relief as she tried to run to him but Esme stopped her. Suddenly the coven had dived themselves.
Carlisle, Esme and Alice were on one side while Rosalie, Emmet and jasper were on the other. Jacob and Edward were in the middle looking at all of them
"Everyone stop! Esme let Bella go! She needs to leave. You all have to understand. All I want is for her to be happy. The man that she has fallen in love with makes her happy. He can give her everything I cant. I will not put her in harms way. 'the volturi think She is dead, and I am grieving her death. It will and must stay that way. Now Esme let her go or I will attack!"
No one moved.
"Enough of this! We have all put ourselves in countless danger because of Bella. Edward will finally have his peace and so will she. We must move on! "jasper hissed
"No! he's going to regret this and become miserable!" Esme countered
Bella, however, couldn't breathe. She could feel embry's spirt and it was fading away. fast.
"Please. Let me go! I need to get to embry!" she pleaded
Without thought Rosalie, Jasper and Emmet attacked the three. Rosalie was able to hand Bella over to Edward.
He and Jacob quickly ran outside and to the border. "Bella… I love you. And I'm happy for you. I want you to be happy. Be free of me and live your life." He told her as he put her on Jacob's back.
Bella didn't have time for long mushy good byes. Instead she looked Edward in the eyes and said "I will never forget you. I wish you all the happiness in the world."
With that said, Jacob sped off. They made it to embry's house I no time. Jacob phased but quickly grabbed Bella before she could go in.
"you really love him? Embry?"
"Yes. I love him with all my heart." She said as she looked back to the house.

The house was quiet. Too quiet. Bella quickly ran in and took in the scene. It was filled with people. Some faces she knew some she didn't.
"Bella!?" Her father called. His face was red and streaked with tears. Something was wrong terribly wrong.
Bella raced to embry's room but his door was being guarded by Leah clearwater herself. Her face streaked with tears.
"Get away from here. Old quill, Embry's grandfather and the elders are performing the cleansing ceremony so that his soul will have a safe journey. You tainted soul does not need to be here."
Bella, however, didn't care. She went to open the door, but Leah stood in the way.

Behind Benjamin was Embry's aunt and uncles but Bella didn't care. She heard and saw no one as she walked towards embry. Only following her instincts, Bella ripped the sheet off of his body. The protest of the council falling on deaf ears. She felt hot hands trying to stop her, but it was no use. All she could focus on was embry.
She climbed on top of him and put her forehead to his. Closing her eyes. Her mind instantly opened as she called out to him her lips found his. And with all she had Bella breathed her life into his.
