Chapter 36: Missing You And Your Love

The brown orbs are revealed and it almost had its scarlet color slowly shading in it. His white robe almost left his body as he continues on huddling on the edge of the bed and trembles badly. He looks like he will cry but no tears fall from his widely opened eyes.

Killua was stunned to the bones; he shook his head abruptly just to erase that feeling and "Kurapika!" he screamed and paced quickly towards him after he shut the door close. Placing his pale hands on Kurapika slowly and carefully, Killua's heartbeat became faster and he rested hi other hand on the bed as he reaches out to the trembling lady-like man on the corner.

Kurapika felt his cold palm over his shoulder and that seems to wake his senses back to normal. He lifted his head leisurely and gently then looked at Killua with the fear in his eyes. His words should be uttered faded a he breathes in and blinked few times as a sign of bewilderment.

The albino reached out to Kurapika more and fixed his tousled robe over his trembling body. After fixing hi clothes, he climbed carefully on the bed then pulled Kurapika closer to him. Dead air blanketed the whole place so, Killua decided to break it with a habitual sigh. Kurapika still cannot find his words and cannot able to speak because his shock was doubled because of him and Killua's closeness.

Finally Killua found the urge to speak and slowly let go of Kurapika. "A nightmare isn't it?" he received a quick nod from the blonde then just decided to say something to comfort Kurapika who I motionless still now. "Just forget those; Dreams are only in our mind…"

The blonde looked upon his eyes seriously and met the other's peaceful face with that innocent smile on his face. He first sighed then started with a quiet tone. "Then tell me the truth, Leorio left again right?" he asked. Killua cannot find the right words to save Kurapika's heart from being hurt once so he just nodded.

Kurapika felt nothing Yes, he left me like what happened in that dream… I think I should get used to it… We will not be okay again… That thought made him chuckle sarcastically and spoke up weirdly again that left a question mark in Killua's mind.

"There's no chance to fix and heal a wound of a dead. There is chance to give life to that empty vessel again…"

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Killua? Nothing…"

After saying that, Kurapika fixed himself then tried to stand up. He felt like he wanted to go home now so, "Killua, can I go to Gon?" he said sincerely as he steps his feet on the floor and stood up uneasily.

Killua jumped onto his side then helped him to stand well and told a jest just to lessen the dramatic aura that blanketed them. "So now, I'm not enough?" Kurapika rolled his eyes then glared at Killua that made the other sweatdrop and wave his hand infront of Kurapika's face and grinned at him innocently.

"Hey- Hey! Kurapika I'm just kidding!"

The glare in his eyes faded and he crossed his arms at Killua then closed his eyes; he was very thankful that Killua had erased some of his loneliness and although he is so cold towards him, he feels his tingling sensation inside him. "Killua I will leave too… tomorrow maybe because I'll go to work…"

"But!"

"Just take me to Gon…"

He said a little determined but really in pain; Kurapika uttered it once more that finally made Killua nod and helped him to walk towards Gon's room.

When they have arrived, Kurapika saw Gon's sleeping figure on the bed that's why the blonde just stared at him with Killua quietly staring at him too; not wishing to disturb his peaceful slumber.

But somehow, Gon felt their existence so, his eyes slowly opened but he squinted a little bit because of the blinding lights that welcomed him. Before h eyes totally adjusted from the brightness; warm body and arms were now pressed upon his smaller frame and that made him feel surprise.

His eyes met Killua's blue ones but then averted it from him and tried to look who is the person that embraces him. His blonde locks sparkled with the single light that touched it and that light made the place gloomy too.

He can't find the urge to speak because he cannot ponder the right words to utter and somehow, beneath his fearsome and flabbergasted mind, he found a little strength to touch him. He slowly and gently placed his warm hands over the blonde's head and ruffled it like a child.

Kurapika's eyes opened and he leisurely pulled out that made Gon' hands fall on his side. the younger still feels cat got his tongue and let his lips remain still and shut tight; an action he can only perform because of the guilt that suddenly strike him badly.

He had betrayed his own friends but after all, they still saved him from being killed and it is also because of him that they have been injured and fought before…

Kurapika noticed it in his eyes therefore; he lowered his head and asked Gon. "Are you blaming yourself for those?" The younger suddenly looked at him and started to feel his insides tremble. Kurapika repeated it while lifting his head to make his eyes land on Gon's appearance.

Suddenly the other's eyebrows furrowed and hurled up. He just nodded quietly and those made Kurapika speak up and raise his voice a little bit. Both of the younger boys felt still and hushed but then after, the tension inside the room faded a Kurapika told them once more his reply in a calm tone while his hands stroke Gon's surprised face. "It's not your fault, it' our fault for hurting you before…"

"But Kurapika! I'm the one who did that and not you… I was blinded by that jealousy… I should be the one that should be blamed" he retorted uneasily that made the blonde heave a depressed sigh and just brush his golden locks away from his face. He don't know what he will do to erase that thought from the other's mind.

Out of the blue, Killua joined them and interrupted their silence before it make all of them deaf. "Oi! Chotto matte! (wait a second) Gon you already said that you are just blinded by jealousy and aniki's nonsense advices! You really didn't mean that so stop it and besides we already forgiven you so forget all of those!"

"Killua…" Gon said coyly as his voice sank into the sobs that escaped from his lips. Killua suddenly jumped onto the bed and wiped the other's tears by his fingers while Kurapika shushes him as if they were treating Gon as a baby. When the other finally stopped, Killua and Kurapika gave him a heart-warming smile that made his eyes water again that made him look cuter.

Killua laid him down the bed and went down, finally, Kurapika took the opportunity to say goodbye. "Gon I'm leaving tomorrow… I want to be back to normal without the hurt that those gave me demo… do not blame yourself huh! We all make mistakes…"

The boy blinked in confusion but then clutched his hand and spoke up with anxiety marking his tone. "Kurapika, please don't leave us…"

The blonde felt shocked and tears flooded his wide brown orbs. For the reason of seeing Gon looking like that and pleads him not to go, Kurapika felt still and cold like a motionless rock. Killua came in the scene and told Gon that Kurapika can't stop from leaving so, he just shut his mouth and let go of Kurapika's trembling hands. Dead air seems to eat them and brought them into its core.

Killua just sat on Gon' bed and place his hand over the others hand and entwined it but as tight as a tightrope. The younger responded at Killua's hold but his eyes are still focused on the blonde.

Suddenly tears rolled down on his face and fell down. Kurapika finally spoke up and wiped the tears from his eyes gently. "I thought Leorio loves me… then why did he left? He left without uttering a single word! If he really does love me… He shouldn't have walked away!" his heart beating changed and a fierce pain stopped him.

Although that hurts, he still continued letting out his sorrow without eve caring in the world. His voice softened a bit but the anger and pain were still present and it is still stronger than anybody and anything else.

"I love him but, I didn't use the opportunity to say it. I loved him so much that I can let my life fade just to be with him but, what will happen now?"

The others remained silent and the entire place was blanketed by a thick layer of agony coming from the blonde's grief. Kurapika noticed that and again, wiped his tears and lifted his head.

There, he met the younger boys' stares at him so, he placed a smile on his lips and acted alright again. "I'm okay now… guys, I need to go to my room and sorry for the nuisance…" and after saying that, he walked out of the room and shut the door closed.

Kurapika entered his own place and plopped onto his bed. "I think, I'll just take a rest for now…" he closed his eyes and let his tired body to take a rest. And there, he drifted into a place where in his memory haunts more… his dreams…

Killua stood up and turned the lights off. He idled toward Gon whose eye were still open and laid his back beside his warm body. Gon remained silent and doesn't even bother to look at Killua because he was busy thinking.

The albino, the one who always acts like a bratty child but also the one who is always there embraced Gon coyly although he knows the other won't return it to him and opened his mouth to speak.

"All's well that ends well… Gon, although we have problems, we still remains with each other and our love bonded us more. Maybe that's also the test for Leorio and Kurapika… let them solve it by them elves and we'll just help if they really needed us… They already have it, they loves each other o, it's not impossible for those two to be okay again… Don't be bothered by it. I'm here for you too. Gon suki desu…"

The younger smiled and returned the hug to Killua. The albino received a small feather-like kiss from Gon so, he sat again and stared at him.

"I love you too…" the other replied then both of them took a good sleep with each other's warmth like when they first knew what their real feeling are for each other.
