Hakuna roared with all his might as he slammed into the wall at the back of the small den he was being held in. Huffing, the gold eyed lion placed his paws on the rock, seeing if there was any loose rocks where he could escape through. Baring his fangs at the wall, Hakuna once again tried to force his way out.

"Hakuna."

Hearing his name, the gold eyed lion looked over his shoulder, "What?" He snarled before banging on the rock with his closed paw.

Kiara looked taken back, but she stepped forward and placed a paw on his shoulders, "Its no use." The old queen whispered, "I grew up here, I know all the way out and all the ways in. Vita choose a good cave to keep us in."

"No." Hakuna lifted his head, "We're not trying hard enough!" Turning so he faced the queen, he glared at her, "How can you just give up? Your daughter is out there- probably half dead and you're just sitting here telling me to give up!"

Tears welled up in Kiara's eyes but she refused to let them fall, she opened her mouth to reply but Hakuna scoffed, "Some mother."

Hakuna felt guilt in his chest but he ignored it and turned around, only to be grabbed from behind and shoved against the wall, amber eyes glaring into his. "How dare you!" Kopa snarled, "How dare you speak to my mother like that! You have no right to do that, you don't even know what we've been through-!"

"Don't I?!" Hakuna challenged, snarling at Kopa, "I lost my mother, father and brother all in the same year so don't you go telling me what its like losing someone!"

Kopa breathed heavily as he let Hakuna go, "I should kill you where you stand."

"And what would Adilah say? Or Uzuri-?"

Hakuna yelped as his head was forced to the side. Kopa glared down at him, "Don't say their names! But because my sister sees something in you, I'm not gonna touch you."

Hakuna nodded as he rubbed his jaw, "You have a good hit," He commented, then looked around the small cave at Almasi, Kiara, Kali and Vitani, "So what are we going to do?"

"First we are going to find my cubs, Tanah and Upendi," Vitani stood up, searching for a loose rock or something, noticing the lionesses standing guard watching them, "What?" The Outlander glared at them.

The one on the left smirked, "Nothing, just wondering where your daughters are."

Vitani roared and rushed forward, ready to rip the lioness's throat out, but she was quickly held back by Kali and Kopa, "Let me go!" She demanded, attempting to force her way through the males, "She just threatened my daughters!"

"Your daughters?" The lioness raised an eyebrow, "I though they were 'Sita's rats?'" She egged Vitani on, chuckling at her shocked expression, "After all...you never wanted them."

Growling low in her throat, Vitani glared daggers at the smart mouthed lioness, "They're my daughters! What I said when I found out doesn't matter!" The blue eyed lioness turned to her nephew, "Now let me go so this bitch can meet Sita in hell!"

Kopa glanced over his smaller aunt to Kali, who shook his head, "I can't, Aunt Vitani," Kopa whispered back, "Keep her and her friend busy..." He murmured back, raising his eyebrows in the slightest way.

Vitani snarled and sneered at the lioness and her friend, "So what, Nyoka? You turned on us 'cause Kovu didn't choose you? Or because I turned on Zira?" She added.

The smart mouthed lioness, Nyoka, narrowed her eyes, "So what if you turned on your mother? I don't care, and I don't care that Kovu chose Kiara over me? He's loss, not mine."

"And what? You think Kovu would even look at you after this? How you turned on his mate and children? Ha!" Vitani laughed, then smirked, "My brother was too good for you anyway..."

Nyoka smirked, "And Sita was too pretty for you, thank god Tanah takes after her father and not her mother."

Kopa glanced at his aunt, afraid that she was gonna blow up or something. Lifting his eyes to meet Kail's brown eyes. To put it easy, Kopa was surprised when Vitani laughed, "Well I'd hate to die with a clone, I mean how would you feel if another lioness looked like you?"

Nyoka just turned her nose up at Vitani before she was knocked out. "Is it just me or does she talk to much?" Almasi asked, smiling at them, before she turned and followed her mother.

Adilah woke up on a river bank, her side muddy from the shallow water. Blinking in the light she sat up, noticing the honey coloured lioness laying next to her, before her eyes rolled into her head and her world was consumed by darkness.

Sorry this chapter sucked but I have a stupid cold...which I don't get as its very warm and whatnot...

Also to clear any confusion about last chapter;

1. The cub Hakuna was blackmailed with wasn't Uzuri, it was used to show how far Vita's followers would for him.

2. The lionesses were all mixed up when Vita shows his ugly face.

3. Tanith is another oc from Adilah's past.

So I'm gonna take a break from writing for a few weeks as I'm going through a rough patch, I just lost someone very close to me and I'll not really have any time as I have family, friends and whatnot here now.
