'Prestigious' is officially the longest story I've ever written! *happy dance* thank you all for your support! Waiting until I finally decide to update is not easy, but I appreaciate you all have stayed with me and continued to read and review! You make me the happiest girl alive! :D

So here's a new chapter...sorry if it's just a filler :P But oh well

I own nothing!

Four months had already run past since Christmas. Four complete months which had gone by so fast no one seemed to notice until they were gone. Everything was going wonderfully for the three happy couples. Jace was done filming and was only being called to the studio for some re-shooting, but there weren't too many scenes that needed to be repeated, so he had lots of free time. He still needed to do some interviews, but thankfully they all were in New York City and he didn't have to travel anymore. Clary had been working on a new clothing line lately, but something seemed to be missing from her work. Even though making clothes was one of her many passions, she really enjoyed art as well, and lately she had been torn between both of them. She knew she could be successful at both things, but somehow the idea of being a recognized artist or designer didn't seem as appealing as it had seemed in the past.

"Do whatever makes you happy" Jace had advised her when she had commented over what she was feeling.

And so she had started to look for something that made her happy. And while making clothes and drawing was enjoyable, it didn't make her absolutely happy as she wished to be. It wasn't until Simon asked her to help with the art design for his band's album that she found what she wanted to do. She had been asked to help with it, and she had done an amazing job creating all the art for their album. Alec had also been contracted for the photo shoot of the band which had gone perfectly. So, when Clary had shown her last draft of the album cover, everyone had been impressed with her work. Eric's sister had seen her work and pleaded her for drawing classes. Clary, of course, had agreed and taught the little girl a few things. After teaching Eric's little sister some art techniques Clary realized that was exactly what she wanted to do. Her mother had once taught her how to draw and express herself with art. As a little girl, Clary had always found a safe haven with drawing, no matter if they were small landscapes or clothing designs, it was an escape from the real world for Clary. A place to be completely happy…and she wanted everyone else to feel the same way. Those who were still trapped in the real world and had not found their way out, Clary wanted to teach them. And so she started to think about opening her small business with art classes for kids. Everyone supported her and she was looking now for an open place to rent and start with the classes.

Simon, on the other hand, was having a blast recording with the rest of his band. In the four months that had gone by they had been able to record all they needed to, the tracks for their album and also some extra ones. They had already the art work for their album as well as the photo-shoot for publicity. Now they were just working on tour dates and interviews. They had already done a few interviews and publicity towards their album and their fan base was growing faster than they thought it would. For their first album they would only do a tour around the US and a few charity acts and then, if they were successful, they would start thinking of a worldwide tour for their second album. They were about ready to get it all started, but they had decided to keep the release date of their album waiting for a few more months after Izzy gave birth. Even though his career was important for Simon, his family was so much more important. He could not start traveling on his band's tour and leave Izzy taking care of their baby by herself. There was also their wedding to think about. Izzy refused to look 'fat' (as she put it) in her wedding pictures, and so they had decided to put it off until after the baby was born…that was another surprise they had for everyone else. Izzy was now six months pregnant, and she was getting huge real quick. On the doctor's appointment when she was four months far, they had come with the surprise of finding out they were not having just one baby…but two. Twins was something Izzy had never expected, neither had Simon. Izzy had been freaking out about taking care of one baby, but two babies was a complete different story. There was nothing they could do now, except duplicate everything they had already bought for their baby. Instead of one crib, they now needed two. After they had let it all sink it, they had become happier than they had ever been. They would be parents of two wonderful kids!

They had decided to keep it a secret from everyone else. Not because they didn't want to know, but because they wanted it to be a surprise. Also, if anyone apart from the two of them knew about it, word would get out in the media and then everyone in New York City would be talking about it. They did not want the pressure of the press upon their babies even before they were born, so they had kept it a secret. Something that had been kept a secret as well was the sex of their babies. When Izzy was four months far, they had been given the chance of knowing what sex their baby would be…but they had asked to be kept in darkness until the babies were born. They wanted it to be a surprise and so they had to wait three more months until they knew. Three months that were approaching much faster than they thought, but they were eager to reach them.

Alec's and Magnus's relationship had been getting better and better. Everyone was finally letting Alec breath after the accident in which he had almost taken his own life. The experience had been scary for everyone, and none wanted it to happen again, but slowly they were starting to trust Alec on his own once more, which came as a relief for him because Alec was finally being able to do stuff on his own without having someone breathing down his neck. Magnus's magazine was reaching a more successful level and the designer couldn't be happier. His magazine was selling well, his clothes were being looked out by famous people, and everything was going perfectly. Magnus had been offered to open his own clothing store with his own designs. Magnus had always dreamed of owning his own clothing store, and the idea of actually accomplishing that dream was too good to be true. There were always cons in every plan, though. If Magnus opened his own store, he would not be able to give the magazine as much attention as it needed. Magnus would need to work for the store full-time, designing multiple clothing lines for each season and getting them produced and sold. It was hard opening a new business, Magnus knew from experience with the magazine. And even though owning his own store was a dream come true for him, the magazine was his life. If Magnus were to open a clothing store, he needed to give someone else the responsibility of directing his magazine. Magnus could not imagine his life without the magazine. Alec had assured him that the magazine would still be his. He would still be the owning 'Prestigious', but for Magnus it would not be the same. Thankfully, he didn't have to come with a decision just yet, and he still had a few months to settle everything down and make up his mind.

Alec on the other hand was happy with his work. He would continue working for the magazine no matter what. In a way it came as a relief to Magnus knowing Alec would stay there. Not only because he was the best photographer they had and the magazine would come down if Alec left, but also because it meant the magazine would not be fully gone if he decided to open his clothing store. With Alec still working at the magazine, Magnus would have an inside sight of what was happening. He wanted to leave Alec in charge of the magazine because he was the only person he trusted enough to do it, but Alec had refused saying he knew 'next to nothing about fashion and there was no way he could direct a fashion magazine'. Which was true, but Magnus would still have some control over it with Alec there.

As for their personal life, everything was amazing. Alec had finally moved in with Magnus. After months of struggling with everything, Alec had finally settled down completely and both of them couldn't be happier. They had decided to transform Magnus's studio in a working place for both of them. There had been a new board placed on the wall where Alec could place his photographs, and the desk would be shared by them. The bookshelves were filled with Magnus's and Alec's books combined and it was perfect. They had decided to leave the other room as a guest rooms in case it was ever needed. And of course, they now both slept in the same room. Magnus had to make space for Alec's clothes in his closet, but fortunately for the designer Alec owned a small number of clothes and they didn't take too much space.

Everything was perfect in their small bubble of a world. Well…almost everything. A date had been settled for Robert Lightwood's hearing in the court room. Everyone had been a wreck of nerves for the date to be announced, especially the three Lightwood kids. There was nothing they wanted the most than seeing their father gone. As much as it could pain them, because after all Robert was still their father, they had suffered enough in hands of that man and they were happy an end was finally being placed.

The hearing was taking place two weeks from now. All three Lightwoods had been asked to give declarations along with Maryse. Simon, Clary, and Magnus had been also been asked to give their declarations on what they had witnessed the night Robert Lightwood had attacked Alec resulting him being on the hospital for a few days.

As nervous as they all were, they knew the end was finally coming. Finally everything would have a closure and they would be free to be happy again without worrying about Robert Lightwood ruining everything. Just a couple of weeks and it would be over.
