Carlisle's Point of View

We all loaded up into the car and Anna was quiet the whole way up but her eyes were glued to the windows watching the snowfall. We arrived at the resort in a few hours and Anna was keen to get out she was squirming in her seat and trying to undo the buckles. Jasper smiled at Anna's reaction, and went over to help her. He unclipped her buckles quickly and reached over her grapping the jacket and throwing it over her shoulder.

He went to go lift her down from the car but she batted him away

"I am fine thank you." She said and she jumped out of the car she landed on a patch of ice she slipped fell and was about to hit her head before jasper caught her just in time. He stood her up in a safe area and Anna was sulking while jasper was struggling to keep in a smile.

"You are not wearing the right shoes." Jasper said forcing Anna to put on a jacket. She was sulking and refused to be picked up by jasper until he gave her a very stern look. He carried her inside and set her down in the foyer, she removed her jacket and carried it with her into our room. Anna went straight to the window watching the snow keen to get out in it. I ordered some food for Anna for lunch that if she ate I would take her snowboarding hoping to get her comfortable around me.

The food arrived in minutes and Anna ate a fruit salad and a sandwich.

"Anna, do you want to go snowboarding now with me." I said to her and she started nodding not even caring that it was me.

"Ok. Rosalie will help you get ready." I said going to get myself ready. Rosalie immediately started getting all her snowboarding gear out for her. Anna was ready in seconds carrying her coat ready to go out side wearing proper pants and jackets for snowboarding. Rosalie put she snowboard down on the ground and taught her how to put the shoes in the board in and everything here so it was easier for when she was down in the snow. Once Rosalie was done Anna and I walked out into the lift and Anna still stayed in the corner away from me. We walked outside pausing to put on Anna's jacket.

"So we are going to take the lift up what you need to do is put your snowboard on and I'll help you get onto the lift ok?" I asked and she nodded slipping her feet into the snowboard, she tried to take a step and promptly fell over landing face first into the snow. I chuckled slightly picking her up and helping her dust herself off before I she got the hang of moving with the snowboard. She got to the lift and I instructed her how to get on the lift and I ended up having to help her, she was trying but snowboarding was new for her. We got to the top of the beginner hill and she did not do well getting off the lift and almost fell on her face before I caught her. I stood her up again and pushed her gently so she started gliding in the right direction. The hills closed two hours later and Anna spent the whole time crashing tumbling and falling but she had a huge grin on her face, I knew she would be sore once the adrenalin ran off. We got to the hotel room and Anna sat down in the middle of the room trying to get her snow boots off.

She slowly undid the laces and she winced taking off the boots and her feet were covered her in blisters. I sighed in sympathy and got out my medical bag, I looked at her feet and she nodded gently giving me permission to take care of them. I got down to her level sitting on the floor cleaning all of her blisters carefully and covering her feet in a light bandage.

"Thank you Carsile." Anna said quietly and I looked at her smiling

"What for?" I asked deciding to push her a little bit further

"For today, and taking care of Bella when you were around." Anna said her voice turning icy at the end. I winced I was sure she would never forgive us for what we did to her.

I picked her up gently and carried her into her room placing her on the bed. I went to her bag and got her clothes out for her to get changed into. I asked her if she was going to be ok getting changed by herself and she nodded blushing slightly. I left her room shutting the door behind me. She came out and was moving gingerly and I couldn't blame her she took allot of hard hits. Jasper was wincing whenever she took a step and tried to elevate her pain but a stern look from her stopped that. Emmett struck up a conversation with Anna about snowboarding and she was immediately interested wanting to improve herself and listening to all of his advice. I ordered dinner for Anna when it was time. She ate all of her vegetables but left her steak. Jasper went over to her and stopped her from leaving.

"Can you eat a little more?" He asked and she shook her head going to get up but he put his hand on her shoulder keeping her there and he sat down next to her.

"Why not?" He asked

"I am not hungry." She said

"Are you full?" Jasper said and she tilted her head to the side shrugging unsure

"Jasper sighed and started focusing. He kept his hand on her hand and she narrowed her eyes at him wondering what he was doing.

"Do you know this feeling?" He ask and she shook her head.

He jumped in surprise

"Do you know that feeling is hunger." He asked and she shook her head.

"I know when I have to eat, but I don't get the tummy rumbles like most people. Now if you don't mind I have already being interrogated by Sam about it, what I eat is my decision and I do not see how it concerns you." Anna said getting up and walking into her room.

I sighed and Jasper looked at me nodding.

"She is testing us, we are trying to show her a whole different world of emotions she has not experienced in years, she likes being in her own little box, she is trying to see how far we are really going to push her." Jasper explained and I nodded

"So what should we do?" Emmett asked

"I am going in there and I am going to make her feel hungry until she eats it and I will keep doing that until her body starts consuming properly." Jasper said steeling himself picking up Anna's plate, cutlery and drink.

He knock on her door and entered.

Jaspers Point of View

I entered Anna's room and found her sitting on her bed curled up watching SpongeBob. I sat down next to her and she was ignoring me. I placed the steak on her lap and placed the cutlery into her hands. She looked at me

"I am not hungry." Anna repeated to me.
"Yes you are, you just don't feel it anymore, I know you are hungry because I know that feeling." I said doing my best to explain it to her I placed my arm around her shoulder trying to comfort her but it also made reading and influencing her emotions easier. She raised an eyebrow at me she new what I was doing but I just tightened my grip on her and turned my attention to the TV. I started making her feel hungry but she still refused to eat. I sighed and placed my hands over hers and started cutting the steak. She jerked forcing my hands away so she could cut the steak herself and she finally took a bite of steak. She got herself into a rhythm like most humans of cutting her food and eating it while watching TV. Slowly I backed of her emotions so she was feeling what she naturally would be feeling. She was feeling full and she put her knife and fork down hesitantly, looking at me.

"Good job." I said ruffling her hair, she only had had a few bites of the steak but she was full and I did not want to loose her trust. I took her plates off her and returned with a small container of chocolate mouse for desert.

"Would you like some dessert?" I said offering it to her and it was immediately taken out of my hands and she was eating it happily. I was surprised that she was so fond of chocolate and it was gone within seconds. I left her alone and I kept tabs on her emotions. I felt her mood change and that she was feeling really sick.

"Carsile she is feeling really sick." I said emitting some of the emotions she was feeling to him. He nodded went and got her blood sugar reading and her insulin.

Carsile's Point Of View

I knock and entered her room and found her curled up in a ball just in her tank top and a pair of bike shorts.

She looked at frowning.

"You can't hide anything in this family can you!" She exclaimed and I nodded.

"With a mind reader, a fortune teller, an emotion reader and we all have supersensitive hearing. We have no secrets in this family." I said pricking her finger for her getting her sugar reading. It was almost dangerously high.

"Anna, I need to give you some insulin to regulate your blood sugars. It will make you feel better" I said getting the needle out. She curled up tighter and I sighed rubbing her back gently.

"Anna I need you to role onto your back so I can inject the insulin into your stomach or it is going into your but." I said, she carefully obliged and I injected the needle immediately and started rubbing the spot where I had injected it to help it absorb faster. I stayed with her until I saw her visibly relax, her blood sugars returning to normal. She had bruises covering her body from snowboarding. I got a bruise balm out of my bag and started massaging the bruises out strangely she didn't complain and complied with all of my instructions. Even though what I was doing was painful, she kept her muscles relaxed and looked relaxed herself.

"Did your coach use to do this?" I asked and she nodded.

"I usually have it done with much worse bruising." Anna said

I noticed she was comfortable with me touching basically her whole body just because it was routine. Towards the end of it I was massaging her for relaxation and she was asleep and was holding onto my leg. I did not want to move and disturb her and I started stroking her hair and she sighed moving her head so she was touching my hand constantly.

She would never admit it but she was extremely affectionate and loved comfort and I only just starting to see that part of her.

Emmett's Point Of View

Anna woke up early as usual and Carsile ordered her breakfast. She was itching to get back onto the snowfields. she ate her breakfast with minimal prompting from Jasper. Rosalie helped her dress to go out on the snowfields she was almost jumping with excitement and when we were in the lifts I ended up putting a hand on her shoulder to keep her with us.

On the snowfields she was pretty good but still took a few hard tumbles. She was having fun and her laughter could be heard miles away, she came in reluctantly for lunch and we all sat in the common room with Anna sipping a hot chocolate and nibbling on some chips. We went back out for a few more hours and the snow was starting to disappear. We took her inside remembering she needed rest.

Carsile's Point Of view

We walked into the hotel room and everyone was extremely happy even Anna had a slight smile on her face. We all went into our rooms and got changed, I got changed quickly and waited in the lounge room until she was done changing, I called her out and she came out suspiciously.

"Can you sit on the couch please so I can have a look at your feet please?" I said and she sighed heavily before obliging. Her feet were covered in blisters and she was not going to be allowed to walk for a while, if one got infected she was in serious trouble. I gently placed her feet down again.

"Stay here for a minute please." I said politely and called room service ordering a footbath and boiling the kettle. When the footbath arrived I filled it with water that should be the hottest she can stand without it injuring her. I then added a purple disinfectant and numbing agent that would hopefully help her.

"Anna I need you to soak your feet in here it will stop any infection but you might not like it because it contains a numbing agent." I told her lifting her feet and placing them slowly in the bucket carefully watching her for any signs of discomfort. Once her feet were fully submerged I instructed her to stay there until the water went cold. I sat down as the rest of the family came out and started chatting to each other then her. I started watching her out of the corner of my eye watching her for any pain, habits or anything out the ordinary, I noticed her eyes were constantly flickering around the room watching for danger and she went through periods where she would be perfectly still, then other times where she couldn't stop moving. After about 5 minutes the numbing agent had started to kick in so Anna quickly moved her feet from the water. I sighed and went over to her placing her feat back in the bucket.

"I know you don't like the numbing agent but you need the disinfectant

more." I said

She kept her feet in the water until is cooled and I bandaged her feat so it would be hard for her to walk on. I ordered her dinner in my bedroom so she couldn't hear and when I came back Anna was having a conversation with Alice about Bella.

"So Bella did not fall out a window?" Anna asked Alice confirming it

"No, she went running off to meat a vampire who had your mum." Alice said watching her reactions carefully.

"She really went off to face a bloodsucker alone to save mum." Anna said in disbelief

"Why did she not ring me or Dad?" Anna asked.

"She was threatened not too." Alice said, Jasper came down and sat next to Alice interested in the conversation.

"How did she get away from you guys?" Anna asked amused

"She went to the bathroom with jasper and there was a two entrances." Alice said and jasper squirmed

"Wow, jasper that must be one of your proudest moments." Anna said sniggering

Jasper smiled crookedly at her. "Both of you have the ability to escape us, Bella can only do it when we are distracted for a short time, you have the ability to slip away underneath our noses."

"You must have pretty big noses then." Anna said giggling

Jasper laughed and moved over to her at a quick human speed going over to tickle her ribs slightly he giggled and let out a peal of laughter when jasper blew gently on her stomach as someone would a young child. He stop after a moment but Anna was panting trying to catch her breath mock glaring at him.

"Not fair." Anna exclaimed

"I never said I fight fair darling." Jasper replied in a southern drawl

Anna paused for a second before throwing a pillow at him, which he promptly caught much to her disgust.

"So what really happened when Bella disappeared into Italy for 3 days."

"Edward was going to kill himself because he thought Bella was dead. So she went and stopped him." Alice replied

"Well that's stupid." Anna replied harshly and jasper and Alice winced

"No, it's not, Bella is Edwards singer he can't live without him and he can't live without her." Jasper replied
"Then why did he leave her?" Anna asked confused

"Because he thought it would be better for her to live a normal life." Alice replied

"But if he actually loved her it would have hurt him just as much." Anna said still unconvinced

Anna suddenly became paralyzed and I panicked but jasper and Alice were still calm.

"That is how he felt every moment after he left her." Jasper said releasing his control over Anna.

She exhaled sharply

"Is that how you feel towards each other, as well as Rose and Emmett, Carsile and Esmé?" Anna asked. I was doing a little happy dance inside that she was finally understanding emotions.
"Yes as well as wolves with their imprints." Jasper said and she immediately froze processing what she has just heard.

Thankfully Anna's food arrived forcing a change of subject. That should be a conversation between her and Sam.

When her food game she ate the salad first and did not eat anything else until jasper gave her a quiet warning. She ate a few bites of the chicken and put her food down. Jasper went over to her and talked to her quietly

"I want you to eat 3 more bites of chicken, then you are going to take your blood sugar reading then take some pain medication. You are grumpy because you are tired, hungry and in pain. I know it is not affecting anyone else but it is affecting you and is slowing the healing process. You may not notice it, but it is affecting you." He said sternly
She shut her eyes just for a moment and let out a long slow breath getting her emotions under control. She had two more bites of food. Putting her food down daring jasper to argue with her.

"One more bite to go." Jasper said ignoring the challenge she was sending him.

She shook her head in response.

"Would you rather take your pain medication now or take your blood sugar reading before finishing your meal?" Jasper said smirking slightly, he knew exactly what she was doing it and he was combating it.

She frowned wondering a way out of it. She ate another small bite before trying to stand up she was unsteady and couldn't step so Emmett came and picked her up placing her in her room.

I waited for her to calm down for a few minutes before I walked into her room she was picking at her bandages trying to get them off, I sighed bringing my presence to her attention and she snapped at me "How did you put these on!" She said frowning trying to get it off.

I looked at her disapprovingly and her face softened when she looked at me.

"I sprayed on a new product it is basically a liquid bandage, except it is smooth so impatient people like you cannot get it off." I said watching her ecoume angry again. She frowned and stopped trying to unwrap her feet and turned her attention to the Tv.

I sat down next to her and handed her the testing kit. She stared at it before pricking her finger and taking down her results deciding she had pushed us far enough for the moment.

She did not need any insulin at the moment but I still wanted her to take some pain medication. I got 2 Panadol out of my bag leaving them in the blisters and passed her some water she looked at but didn't take it.

"Would you prefer liquid?" I asked her and she didn't answer.

"Anna Jasper said you where in pain and needed some medication, you can take some tablets, liquid or I can give you a mild injection. The choice is up to you." I said and she glared at me before reaching for the tablets and swallowing them.

I nodded my approval as I reached for the bruise balm. She saw the balm and she frowned but let me massage the worst of her bruises out. She had one bad bruise on her leg that caused her to go rigid and wriggled her feet when I touched it. I watched her as slowly her eyes drooped as she sunk down tired. I may have forgotten to mention that they were the stronger version of Panadol designed to make her sleep.

She finally stopped fighting the medication glaring at me before falling asleep.

I walked into the living room and everyone was packing.

"There is a change in forecast for tomorrow it is going to be sunny." Alice said sadly zipping around packing the clothes while the boys started loading the car.

"Anna has just fallen asleep and she was enjoying the snow so much." I said sadly but knew she could play in the snow at home.

"We are almost ready to leave I will go wake her up and explain." Rosalie said before jasper stopped her.

"No, I will carry her down to the car and keep her with me so she will stay asleep." Jasper said and Alice nodded.

"But do not put her in the harness, keep her in your lap or lying down on the seat otherwise she will panic when she wakes up and she will injure herself and we will have to sedate her." Alice said seriously watching a vision and shuttering. I nodded and walked onto her room quietly using my gift to sedate her slightly. I picked her up gently watching her breathing pattern. I brushed my fingers through her hair and she sighed contently as I got into the jeep. She looked so innocent and sweet in her sleep I had to use my gift slightly but she stayed asleep the whole ride home and I was able put her in her bed without any issues knowing she would be confused and upset when she woke up.

I walked down stairs and I had an idea to brighten her mood for tomorrow.

"Why don't we let her spend the day with Sam?" I said and Carsile nodded already texting Sam seeing what he was available.

He answered instantly and would be here early in the morning to pick her up.
