DWA: Hey all whats up how ya doing! So, announcements I have like two.
1) Deadline for OC's is now until this arc ends as I haven't gotten as many OC's as I thought and am guessing some people are catching up or fine tuning OCs. I wanna see as many OC's as I can for Lily's journey as they MAY end up having cameos. I'm pretty much decided on Companion but I haven't gotten Rivals besides one or two. So get ya rival OC's in! If ya wanna make companions, ya can but I'm unsure if they would be a companion, maybe I'd have two.
2) if ya missed it last chapter the Top 8 is being skipped over so I don't have to do two more battles. One of the reasons I stopped was the sheer amount of battles I had to do over the course of two whole arcs. Sooo yeah, to get this all done faster we're skipping the Top eight and getting into the Semifinals.
Also don't own anything but my oc's and the plot!

Role: Rival, or Companion
Rival can be mean, or friendly. The companion cannot compete in gyms, simply because writing these gyms twice was tedious and not very fun. Also, no love interests. She's thirteen.
Personality: What are they like? Happy go lucky or doom and gloom. The closer to happy you are the better it would be for Lily considering her personality. This pertains to the Companion only however as I FORGOT to mention and will fix.
Pokemon Team: What's their team, names moves and other such stuff. Try to keep it Johto found, but no worries if you don't, it won't decrease it. If their starter or first Pokémon they get was from another region I definitely won't mind but keep in mind Lily is a new trainer
Past/bio: Who are they, what do they stand for, what brought them to Johto
Appearance: What do they look like, be creative or be bland, doesn't matter to me!
When to appear: This one is so stuff like Chip doesn't happen, where they don't show till pretty late. When do you want them to appear if it matters to you?

TeslaThePikachu: Glad you're all caught up! Many people did that as after two years a plot is hard to recall. As for how the next arc will be, well let's say I'm excited!
Gerticus: The name thing is more based on the fact these all get written up during like 1am to 4 am. Yeah but I don't wanna do all highlights that's boring. I'm pretty sure I didn't have any non-effective moves besides Rina having Nero use Dig to escape an Aerial Ace.

Ch 36: SemiFinals (1)
Stanley and company watched the highlights for the top 8 the morning after they happened. Predictions were running wild as Rina checked the site to see who advanced.
"So Stanley your match is at twelve. Well well, you and Rocky." She said smiling. I'm almost right after." She said.
"We got this." Stanley said. "Blizz is a direct counter to Chip." He said
"He's gonna have ways to counter me." Blizz said.
-At least you have the power to be the best against an all dark team.- Taisetsu said.
"Focus on yourself Stanley." Corin said. "Not Rina, you're up first on a favorite of Bruno." He said. "It's rumored the man wants to take Rocky under his wing one day."
"Really?" Stanley said. Guess I have a real fight on my hand." He said.
"We'll be rooting for ya." Rina said and Stanley nodded and walked out with Tai.
The two walked until they found a secluded are and kissed for a bit after making sure it was safe.
"Ready for the spotlight?" Stanley asked. Taisetsu nodded.
[Definitely, let's do this.] She said. The two embraced one another and went to the stadium to wait their match.
-(o)- 12:00 pm
"Ladies, gentleman, let me be the first to welcome you all, to the Indigo Plateau Conference Semifinals!" The announcer shouted and it was met by a huge roar. "And I'll be one to say we've all wanted these matches to happen for a while. So let's introduce our semifinalists! First, from Littleroot Town, Stanley Zeneeeeeeeex!" The announcer shouted and Stanley walked out with Taisetsu. The large screen played highlights from his old battles. "Stanley's gotten through the league with smart match ups and strategic plays that made the enemy eat out of his hands, and we're all excited to see what that Gardevoir can do, as it's the one Pokémon that has not been seen in battle!" He said and he saw a bunch of people holding signs saying random things about him and he just waved.
"This is weird." He said.
"Next up is Rocky!" He shouted and the large man started walking out and Stanley watched the board for highlights. "Rocky has proven that one thing matters for him in battles, and that is sheer overwhelming force!" He shouted. "We're assured to have an amazing battle!" He shouted. Stanley waved at Rocky and He simply tipped his cowboy hat. The ref walked up and Stanley sighed.
"Please call out your first Pokemon!" He shouted.
"Kalos, Let's Roll!" He shouted.
"Dragonite, rip them to shreds!" Rocky shouted and the two Pseudo Legendaries appeared, but Kalos had a metal band around her front right leg. The crowd roared.
"Wow, two dragons off the bat." Rina said.
"What's on Kalos' leg?" Corin asked. Blizz leaned in and gasped.
"OH NO FUCKING WAY!" She howled and started laughing. "If she can do that that Dragonite is FUCKED!" She shouted. Rina's eyes widened.
"Did…he really find one too?" Rina asked quietly
The ref looked back and forth and nodded. "Begin!"
"Rocky! Before we really start, let Kalos get ready!" Stanley said. Rocky shrugged and Stanley took out his Pencil with his Key Stone, confusing the crowd. "Kalos, ready!?" He shouted as it started glowing.
[Always ready!] She shouted as her Mega Stone started glowing.
"Alright! Let Evolution be our canvas! Victory is the paint! Kalos MEGA EVOLVE!" He shouted and pressed his thumb to the stone and rays of light shot from both stones and connected and Kalos roared loudly as her wings combined a spot of armor for her front claws appeared and the extensions on her face became longer. The sigil for Mega Evolution appeared as the light left Kalos and showed her new form. In the booth Lance shot from his chair.
"Mega Evolution!?" Lance shouted.
"W-What's this! It seems Salamence has just evolved in front of our eyes!" The announcer shouted as Rocky took off his sunglasses.
"What in the world?" He muttered staring at the dragon.
"Rocky, I'm not holding back!" Stanley shouted. "You'd best not let this shake you!" Rocky chuckled as he put on his sunglasses.
"Not on your life Zenex." He said and Dragonite roared loudly. "Dragon Claw!" He shouted and Dragonite shot forward, a green colored claw forming its own normal one.
"Kalos! To the Sky!" Stanley shouted and Kalos put her front claws in the slot and shot forward than up at far higher speed than Dragonite and it looked up in surprise. "Now Dragon Rush!" He shouted and Kalos let out a roar as the aura of a dragon overtook her body and she turned around and shot straight at Dragonite.
"Dragonite! You're stronger! Dragon Rush!" Dragonite roared and did the same thing as Kalos, but its aura was far smaller. The two collided but Dragonite was easily overpowered and slammed into the ground with an explosion that swept over the stands.
Blizz was laughing giddily. "Kalos is so powerful I can feel it from here I have Beautifly in my stomach!"
"I can too." Corin said. "Mega Evolution, how much more powerful is Kalos now?" He said as he watched the dragon fly out of the smoke.
"I can't believe this folks! Dragonite was heavily overpowered by this, Mega Salamence!" The announcer shouted.
"Ice Beam!" Rocky shouted and Dragonite shot out of the smoke and fired the beam of ice from its mouth.
"Protect!" Stanley called out and Kalos set up the barrier stopping the potentially fatal attack, or as fatal as it can be in a battle. Rocky growled. He wasn't expecting anything like this.
"Now Kalos, let'em have a Giga Impact!" He shouted and Kalos roared and shot at Dragonite with the near common look, but the purple energy was replaced with near white energy and Kalos Slammed into Dragonite hard and into the ground once again.
"Hey, do you know the ability Aerilate?" He asked.
"Can't say I have." Rocky said.
"It's simple! All normal Type moves are turned into Flying Type, which get a Same Type Attack Bonus!" He said as Kalos flew off Dragonite who struggled to get up.
"Dragonite, don't push yourself." He said and held up a Ultra Ball. "Retur-" He was cut off by the Dragon type firing an Ice Beam that hit Kalos' underbelly causing her to let out a roar. Dragonite fell unconscious from the sheer power Kalos was showing. Rocky chuckled. "Return." He said and recalled the Dragon Type.
"Rocky, you know the drill, choose your next Pokémon." He said
"In just two attacks Rocky's powerful Dragonite falls!" The announcer shouted causing the crowd to cheer.
"Two hits." Will said. "Mega Evolution, what a powerful transformation. Bruno?" He asked.
"Rocky still has potential, but I think with just that, he's lost." The man said.
"To take down a Dragonite is no easy feat, but, it did give that Salamence an Ice Beam, and we've seem a Snorlax one hit by that Dragonite." Koga said. Lance nodded.
"These two won't let it be that boring." He said.
Rocky sighed and tossed a Luxury Ball. "Lucario!" He shouted and the familiar Pokémon appeared with a glare to Kalos, who was suddenly recalled to her Great Ball.
"Take a rest girl, let's have someone else do some work." He said and a Heal Ball popped up. "Allie, Let's Roll!" He shouted and the unique Eevee appeared. Lucrio readied for battle, even though it's never seen this Pokémon, it could feel Allie was powerful in her own right.
"Begin!"
"Aura Sphere!" Rocky shouted and Lucario charged the attack and fired it.
"Ghost Type!" He shouted and Allie's collar turned a dark purple and the attack phased through her. "Shadow Ball!" Allie charged the attack and fired it. Lucario crossed its arms and took the attack and skidded back from the force, and looked at the Eevee in surprise. Allie was smirking slightly.
"D-Did that Eevee simply change its type!?" The announcer shouted. "Hang on is that possible or allowed!?"
"Dark Pulse!" He shouted and Lucario fired a beam of crisscrossing rings at Allie.
"Shadow Force!" He shouted and Allie jumped forward and flickered out of view.
"Detect!" Rocky shouted and Lucario's eyes glowed green and started frantically looking around. Confused as it couldn't find Allie.
"Rocky, Shadow Force is a move that neither Protect or Detect can stop!" He said and Allie appeared beside Lucario and slammed it with her tail and sent it flying and skidding on the ground. It glared at the Eevee as it stood.
"Dragon Pulse!" Rocky shouted and Lucario charged an orb of red white and blue energy and fired it, the attack taking a draconic shape and due to the distance between the two Allie was hit and sent flying before hitting the ground, but stood up.
"Allie, let's see if we got it down!" Stanley said and Allie sighed and opened her eyes and she started glowing a blue color and a ball of water started forming.
"Whatever they're doing interrupt them with Drain Punch!" He shouted and a swirling green color surrounded Lucario's fist and it ran at Allie and the ball of water finished forming.
"Hydro Cannon!" Stanley shouted. Allie cried out as Lucario was upon her and fired the attack, hitting it in the gut and sending it flying, the attack exploding in the air. Allie was panting as Lucario landed harshly on the ground and took a bit to stand up.
'How large is the gap in our skill Zenex, less than half my age, yet you can do this…I wont go without a fight!'
"First this Eevee changes its type and then uses an attack that can only be used by the Regional Start Pokémon!" The announcer shouted. "What is happening!?"
"Aura Sphere!" Lucario charged the attack and fired it, and Allie being worn from Hydro Cannon was hit and the attack exploded and sent her flying.
"Now Drain Punch!" Lucario shot at Allie with a fist of swirling green energy.
"Allie! Counter!" Stanley shouted and Just before Lucario hit her gut she glowed orange and then took the attack to the gut and was sent flying harshly into the ground and bounced before stopping and slowly she got up. The energy around her body was very intense as she glared at Lucario, who landed and grinned at the small Pokémon, until it saw the energy.
"Go Allie!" Stanley shouted and the small Pokémon let out what seemed to be three cries, a common Eevee, and two otherworldly cries and it's marking on its head and tail glowed as she shot at an extremely fast speed at Lucario and paid back over twice the damage by slamming into its gut and flying into the wall with it. They both slumped down and were unconscious.
"Woah…" Rina said. "What…was that?" She said.
"I don't know but…it scared me, yet, made me happy." She said and looked around to other Pokémon in the stands. "They all feel the same."
"A reaction among Pokémon, that cry invoked fear and hope in each Pokémon, maybe it's the symbols." Corin said.
"Both Pokémon are unable to Battle, trainers, please choose your next Pokémon!" The ref said.
"Jolteon!" Rocky shouted and the familiar Eeveelution appeared.
Stanley considered Nuregami but assumed Rocky had seen his match with her, and so, he decided on someone else.
"Mystery! Let's Roll!" He shouted and the witch like Pokémon appeared and looked at the scoreboard.
[Hey Boss how did someone take down Allie?] She asked.
"Lucario musta hit harder than I thought." He said and Mystery shrugged.
"Begin!"
"Mystery, Toxic!" He shouted and Mystery shot a ball of Sludge at Jolteon who ran out of the way, only to be hit with a second one. It stopped and groaned in pain as purple sparks and bubbles came off its body.
"Thunder!" Rocky shouted and Jolteon roared as it shot a powerful bolt of electricity at Mystery.
"Dodge and use Calm Mind as much as ya can!" Stanley shouted and the Ghost shot out of the way and closed her eyes and started raising her stats.
"Stop her with Thunder!" Rocky shouted and the wicked bolt of electricity was fired at Mystery, who was hit and cried out. Jolteon whimpered as the Toxic drained its health. Mystery opened her eyes and cackled causing Rocky to grimace.
"Hex!" Stanley shouted and Mystery grinned and her eyes went black and the same color outlined Jolteon and it started crying out in pain and fell to the ground, black bubbled coming off it.
"A painful combination of a double powered Hex with stat buffs, and a Toxic Poison status! Jolteon is in trouble!" The announcer shouted.
"Jolteon, Shadow Ball!" Rocky shouted and Jolteon stood slowly under the pain of the attack and charged and fired the super effective attack, and Mystery was hit and the Hex ended, Jolteon was already worn down.
"Mystical Fire!" Stanley shouted. Fire shot from the smoke and slammed into Jolteon causing it to cry out in pan as it skidded along the ground before coming to a stop. It was about to stand, but fell once more.
"Jolteon is unable to Battle! Rocky, please choose your next Pokémon!" The ref shouted as Rocky recalled his Eeveelution.
"The Poison…" He said sighing. "Typhlosion!" He shouted and the Johto fire starter final evolution appeared with a roar.
[Still rarin' to go boss!] Mystery shouted.
"Begin!"
"Typhlosion! Eruption!" Rocky shouted and Typhlosion roared loudly and fired a stream of lava at Mystery, who braced herself and was hit by the attack, crying out in pain.
"Mystery!" Stanley shouted as the attack ended, she looked hurt but still ready to battle. "Alright Mystery! Thunder Wave!" He shouted and Mystery fired a small jolt of electricity at Typhlosion, who jumped back to avoid it. "Power Gem!" Mystery charged energy in her gems and fired shards of rock that slashed into Typhlosion causing it to roar in pain.
"Aerial Ace into Thunder Punch!" He shouted and Typhlosion shot forward using Aerial Ace to close the gap which caused Mystery to brace for the attack she knew she wouldn't be able to dodge. She was slammed by Typhlosion's electricity charged fist and sent her far back.
'Mystery's stat buffs can't be wasted, we gotta take it out!' Stanley thought. "Mystery! Power Gem!"
"Tear through! Blast Burn!" Rocky shouted and Typhlosion roared and glowed red as a ball of fire formed, and as Mystery fired Power Gem, Typhlosion let a massive stream of fire that destroyed Power Gem and slammed into Mystery and put her in the wall. When the fire and smoke died away Mystery was out.
"Mismagius is unable to battle! Stanley, choose your next Pokémon!" The ref said and Stanley recalled Mystery.
"Thanks Mystery." He said and nodded. "Kalos, come on back out!" He shouted and the Mega Salamence reappeared in the sky with a roar.
"Damn, it's back…" Rocky said sighing and waited, Typhlosion was still recovering.
"Kalos! Stone Edge!" He shouted and Kalos roared as Stone rotated around her body and she fired them at Typhlosion, who was still recovering and was hit hard by the powerful attack and flung back.
"Finish with Dragon Rush!" He shouted and Kalos let out a deafening roar and shot at Typhlosion.
"Blast Burn!" Rocky shouted and Typhlosion shot the attack at Kalos, who was covered in draconic power. She collided with the attack and tore through with a roar to slam into Typhlosion and cause an explosion. The smoke cleared as Kalos flew out and Typhlosion was down. The crowd roared in excitement.
Rocky sighed. He'd lost now, but as he said, he wanted to give his rival a fight. He'd trained as much as he could, yet Zenex truly brings out his Pokémon's inner power. Before the ref said anything he recalled his Pokémon and tossed a Poke Ball. "Machamp!" He shouted and the four armed Pokémon appeared.
"B-Begin." The man said caught off guard by the quick response.
"Stone Edge!" Rocky said and Machamp slammed his fists into the ground and jagged stones shot out of the ground and flew at Kalos.
"Protect!" Stanley shouted and Kalso set up the barrier and flew att the attack and the stone bounced off the barrier. "Now, Giga Impact!" Kalos used the powerful move energy flowing around them as she readjusted to aim at Machamp.
"Quadruple Ice Punch!" Rocky shouted and All four of Machamp's fists gained an icy power and he lauched them forward and met Kalos and was being pushed back while groaning as it strained to fight back against the immense power Kalos held, feet digging into the ground.
"Go Kalos!" Stanley shouted. Machamp raised two fists and slammed them into Kalos' head causing the dragon to recoil and roar and fly back, she looked tired, and taking technically three powerful ice attacks would easily tire her. But Machamp looked tired from stopping Giga Impact. Stanley had had Kalos increase her attacking power by a huge amount recently. "Kalos! Finish with Hyper Beam!"
"Machamp! Ice Punch!" Rocky shouted and Machamp rushed forward with four icy fists. Kalos charged the attack, but before she could fire it, two fists slammed into her, she powered through, aimed at the ground, and fired her Powerful Hyper beam, causing a massive explosion. Machamp flew through the air and landed unconscious. The smoke from the explosion showed Kalos out as well, and she returned to normal in a flash of life.
"Both Pokémon are unable to battle!" The ref said and the crowd cheered.
"Nice Job Rocky! I didn't think Kalos would go down!" He said as he recalled his dragon and Rocky recalled his Machamp.
"It was tough, but now, I bet everything on him." He said. "TYRANITAR!" He shouted and the large Pokémon appeared with a large roar, making Stanley shudder with excitement. He looked to Taisetsu.
"Tai, Knock em dead." He said and Taisetsu teleported on the field and the crowd cheered.
"We finally get to see the mysterious Gardevoir everyone has been wondering about. It's obvious this Pokémon is Stanley's Ace Pokémon! After what we just witnessed, what could it hold!?" The announcer shouted.
"Begin!" The ref shouted.
"Tyranitar, Hyper Beam!" Rocky shouted and Tyranitar roared and fired the powerful attack.
"Psychic!" Stanley said and Taisetsu held up her hand and her dress billowed as her body gained a blue outline and the Hyper Beam met with her attack and was blocked, the beam splitting in many directions and soon the attack ended.
"No way…" Blizz said. "She's gotten that strong?"
"So have you." Rina said.
"Taisetsu! Moonblast!" he said and Taisetsu charged a whispy ball of light, and shot it at Tyranitar, who was struck. The attack exploded and sent the powerful Pokemon back with a pained growl. "Thunderbolt!" Taisetsu's hand spared with electricity and she held it up and fired it and the attack slammed into Tyranitar causing it to cry out.
"Earthquake!" Rocky shouted and Tyranitar roared and stomped on the ground sending shockwave and tearing up the battlefield as it traveled.
"Jump!" Stanley said and Taisetsu bent down and suddenly shot into the sky, avoiding the attack. "Thunderpunch!" He shouted and Taisetsu's fist became cloaked in electricity as she descended down on Tyranitar.
"Hyper Beam!" Rocky shouted. Tyranitar roared and fired the powerful beam right at the falling pokemon.
"Teleport!" He said and Taistesu started teleporting in midair, avoiding the attack and then teleported in front of it, and slammed her fist into the side of its head. The large Pokémon was stunned. How did the Gardevoir hit so hard. "Shadow Ball!" He shouted and Taisetsu charge the attack and slammed it into Tyranitar's side, making it roar in pain and it glared at Taisetsu. She giggled and Teleported back to Stanley.
"Tyranitar, Crunch!" He shouted and Tyranitar roared and ran at Taisetsu.
"Taisetsu, Focus Blast." Stanley said and Taisetsu started charging the attack as Tyranitar loomed closer. She finished charging, and soon Tyranitar was closing in.
"Now." Stanly said. Taisetsu spread her arms out and that fired the attack, hitting Tyranitar in the head hard and exploding. Tyranitar fell off unconscious from the power 4x effective attack.
"Tyranitar is Unable to battle, and therefore, Stanley is the winner!" The ref called and the crowd went wild.
'I shoulda gotten new Pokémon.' Stanley thought to himself chuckling. 'I feel bad for everyone here but Rina.'
Taisetsu walked to Stanley as Rocky recalled Tyranitar, tipped his hat to Stanley, and walked out, and Stanley did the same.
"After a thirty minute intermission, the Match between Rina Izumi and Chip Vogal will begin!" The announcer said. Stanley went to the Pokémon Center and got his team healed. Rina and Blizz walked up beside him.
"You shoulda told us Kalos got a Mega." Rina said.
"Now where's the fun in that?" Stanley asked grinning. "You'd best win." He said.
"Who do you think I am?" She asked and started to walk off. "Corin is saving our seats, D23." She said as she left.
Stanley sighed. "Rina, you'll be my toughest challenge yet, I'm ready for ya." He said smiling. Rina's match would be starting soon, once he got his team, he would head to the stadium.
DWA: FINALLY writing that seemed to take forever. I dunno why but these last few battles have been a drain! Maybe it's the music I'm listening to, I just wanted this out hahah. SO! Next up, Rina verses Chip! I don't have much to say. Review Fav and Follow people!
