"Are you sure you're alright Tris?" Shauna asks as we head back to the house. I'm currently in the back seat behind Christina who is driving. Shauna looks over her shoulder at me and smiles weakly. I smile back at her. "Yeah Shauna I'm okay actually I'm great." I answer back happily. She looks back towards the front of the car.
"Yeah me too. I'm glad we won, nice double play at the end Tris." Christina says turning into our street.
"Well according to some of the other girls they're going to throw a victory party tonight and invited a lot of people." Christina says as she pulls into the drive way. I just nod, I wasn't really in the party mood.
"Well that sounds fun right Tris?" Shauna asks me when I don't answer her. "Yeah totally." I say back and she looks back at me and frowns and I smile quickly at her.
She pulls into our drive way and we get out and head towards the door. I'm actually excited to hang with the girls for a harmless fun.
As were set up for later tonight we listen to music mindlessly while bringing things we would need outside to set up.
"So do you really feel okay? Shauna asks when she puts the cups on the deck table.
"I'm okay really. I don't feel any different then before the game." I answer in a honest voice.
"You would tell us if you didn't right?" Christina says in a hushed voice.
"Tori was really worried about you, you know?" She says facing me a pitied look on her face.
"Yeah I know." I say adjusting the things on the table trying to distract myself.
We head back inside the house when door bell rings and Shauna goes to opens it. When she does screams happily and jumps forward into Zeke who steps through the door hugging her tightly.
"You're early." She says happily and scolding at the same time then looks over at the other boys. Uriah, Will and Four then walk in.
"Only half an hour." Uriah says and walks past into the kitchen with his box of Coronas. I stand up when they walk into the lounge room and I greet them happily.
"Good game Tris." Four says happily when he puts down his case of alcohol. He walks over to me and gives me a hug in greeting before letting me go.
"Thanks." I say happily longing after him slightly.
We head out the back were the deck chairs and barbecue is set up and we let the party begin.

After the remaining people left the house I decided it was time for bed. Hugging the girls and saying goodnight to them I enter back into the house. I walk to the fridge and grab a bottle of water when the door bell rings.
I walk over to the front door putting the bottle on the side table and open the door. There stands someone who I never expected.
"Lauren, what are you doing here?" I say a little shocked and a little worried. I hold the door close to my side as we speak.
"What Tris can't I see an old friend?" She says sweetly and I want to barf. "Sure if it's not around me." I bite back bluntly not amused by her presence.
"Oh Tris you're going to really wanna hear what I have to say." She says now in a warning voice and I keep quiet.
"I know about the baby." She says suddenly and happily in a menacing voice and I don't know what to say.
"How do you know?" I ask shocked. She laughs for a short period of time then stops.
"Nita obviously she over hear you and told me." She explains in a victorious voice proudly.
"So you barged me on purpose." I clarify and I feel like the wind has been knocked from me.
"Of course I did, you made Four turn on me. All he wants is you and I clearly have no idea why." She says sizing me up with a gesture of her hand.
"Maybe because I'm not a complete asshole." I spit back appalled by her. She's really starting to get on my nerves.
"Is it alright?" She says motioning to my stomach. I cover it instinctively with my hand.
"Why would you care?" I ask angrily trying to get her to go straight to the point.
"Because I need to know if you're still little competition." She says crossing her arms over her chest.
"Competition? I'm not anything." I answer trying to get her to leave me alone.
"He doesn't know?" She asks curiously and I don't answer her I just look down.
"Oh this is perfect." She says happily and claps her hands together with joy.
"Why?" I ask her stumped. I can't imaging her request would be something easy.
"Because unless you want the whole world to know your going to be a mummy with Four's baby you're going to drop your position on the team so I can take your place." She says no longer hiding her evil...
