A mamas all Logan was in his life. A dreamer but never a doer. A boy who never really grew balls.

"God damn it Hank! Back me up already!" Logan yelled as his hands clicked away on his Xbox controller.

Logan sat there on his old couch with his friend. Hank rolled his eyes. He looked over at the clock and let out a curse. Logan turned to him as he threw the controller and leaped from the couch running to his jacket on the rickety chair by the TV.

"Dude! What the fuck?" Logan snapped.

"Ire so whipped," Logan chuckled. Hank put on his jacket and turned to Logan.

"Maybe if you got off your couch and out of that stupid job at Harveyd get a girl. GTA wont you suppose to work now?" He asked. Logan looked at the clock and sighed with a curse. "Come on Is headed upstairs to the main floor. In the kitchen, Loganll put the food in the fridge after for you. Remember to be home on time tonight! I dont long before Hank an Logan arrived at the gas station. Hank stopped the car and waited for Logan to grab his stuff. He bit his lip and grabbed Loganve known each other since grade 2. I just want you to know that if you need anyone It gotta live with your mom forever. Itre my best friend. I donll see you later."

Logan closed the car door and watched as Hank drove off down the road. He bit his lip. He knew he had to get his shit together but he just didnZombies no longer myth?s causing this disastrous plague and the true risks of it," she stated. Logan glared closely at the screen as it showed small clips of the dead chasing after the living.

"What the fuck?" Logan whispered the himself.

Suddenly, a large screech of a tire came from outside his gas station. Logan turned as fast as he could to see a car spin out of control and tumble down to the ditch across from the gas station and the road. He glared in horror he quickly bolted out and headed to the scene. The car was smashed into nothing. Tipped over like a scene in a movie. He gulped back and edged closer. He saw a man slowly climb out from the car. It was a bit of a distance from him.

"Hey man, you okay?!" He yelled out.

The man stood still and slowly turned. Logant work. He cursed and ran to the phone to find the line dead. He gave it a look and looked at the door. He gulped back and quickly ran to the fridge to grab water than to the shelves and grabbed food. He glimpsed back at the walking dead and ran to the bathroom locking himself in. He fell to the bathroom floor and closed his eyes. One thing on his mind was his mother. Then Hank. His video games were now real life. He shut his eyes and began to fall asleep.

Logan awoke to a noise from the front gas station door. He quickly scrambled to his feet. Dry tears stained his cheeks. He sniffled once. He thought to himself for a moment. Did the man get in? He begged to himself he didnt be true. He didns place. He leaned back. He accidentally bumped into the soap on the sink top. He panicked and cursed to himself. He glimpsed at the door hearing light footsteps heading closer.

A bang at the door began. It happened in a single second. The door was kicked open and there stood a woman with a gun pointed at his head. He raised his hands up. The woman gave him a glimpse. He was relieved to see her instead of the rotting man. He glimpsed around her to see the man lying on the floor with a wound to the head. His eyes drifted to a peeping little boy around the corner of one of the shelves. He moved back to the woman as she lowered her gun.

"Holy shit, you okay?" The woman said. Logan gulped back.

"Y-yeah I am," he said. He slowly came out.

"How long have you been in there?" She asked. "You smell terrible."

"I ah, I donre alright now. Come on Brady," she said turning to the boy. The little blonde boy came running out and hid behind the woman.

"My name is Jane. This is my nephew Brady," she introduced.

"It have much but here."

"Wait! We have to go to my house! My mom! I have to know shet give a shit! We have to! Please. Is not far from here," Logan said. Jane sighed and nodded.

The three stood there in silence glaring at Logant people anymore Logan," she paused. "We can go with you."

"No, I-I gotta do this myself," he said. Jane nodded and watched him take in a deep breath and head inside.

Logan slowly creeped open the door gripping his gun close. He was scared. He wasnt there. He gulped back and headed further into the house to the kitchen. He stepped back. On the floor laid a red stream. His eyes began to water. He follows it for a while as it led him to the back porch. He stopped. He rubbed his mouth. He sat down at the kitchen table and began to rub his hands through his hair. She was gone. She couldnm sorry Logan," a voice said from behind him.

He looked to see Jane. She placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him a hug as he cried into her arms. It was the only comfort he had gotten in a while and it was nice. In many ways he didnt his right to live in this world on the undead. He felt it wasnre ready," she said. Logan nodded and watched them head out.

Logan sat there for a few moments. He looked at the old wallpaper his mother loved so much. He hadnLogan He smiled with tears shedding slowly. He rubbed his mouth and grabbed the container. He gave the house a final look before heading outside. He was leaving his home, this time for good.
