Extra-long Chapta!

"BEGIN!"

NPR spread out in a wide half circle, their guns pointed at team SDER who had not moved even an inch since the beginning of the match. Silver stepped forward with his hands in the air, a sign of submission.

"Let's just take it easy for a sec; I have a proposal that could benefit you."

Pyrrha took a glance at Ren. He simply nodded and they both returned their attention back to Silver.

"We're listening." spoke Pyrrha.

"I propose we have a one on one style fight and at the end the team with the most victories wins and the losing team forfeits."

"How does that benefit us?"

"Well if we were to have a tie in wins, your team would take the overall win. Also we would send out our fighter first so you could strategically pick out your fighter. That is my proposal."

Pyrrha looked at Ren once again and then looked at Nora. The three team members all had a silent agreement.

"No deal." Pyrrha spoke

"That's too bad really…guess we'll just have to do things the hard way…Ether, if you will."

The blonde raised her double barreled revolver and fired a shot at Pyrrha's feet. Pyrrha knew immediately what was about to happen and jumped back just in time before the explosion went off.

'Forgot her semblance was spontaneous combustion.'

The explosion caught Ren and Nora off guard. Silver used his semblance, control over the wind, and sent wind currents into the fire and between the team members of JNPR, creating walls of fire that separated the team.

Pyrrha looked over at the other members of her team, they all exchanged looks before agreeing on finding a way around the wall of fire and meeting up with their mentally incapacitated teammate, Jaune. They wasted no time in running off in different directions.

Silver looked at his teammates and smiled.

"Take your pick."

"Hmmm I'll take on the Valkyrie girl that should be a challenge." David clutched his chin in thought.

Raph pointed down the path that led to Pyrrha.

"Well I guess that leaves you with the eastern boy, Ether." Silver pointed down Ren's path.

"R-right!" She stuttered out. Silver looked at Jaune, who had not moved at all during the whole situation.

"Still not with us eh? That's alright…I can wait." Silver walked over to one of the nearby trees and sat down next to it. "Well…let the game begin."

The rest of the members of team SDER spread out in search of their targets.

*A COUPLE HOURS EARLIER INSIDE JAUNE'S MIND*

Jaune finally separated himself from his mother.

"Mom…it's really you…"

"Oh sweetie of course it is!"

"I...it's been so long…"

"I know I mean just look at you! I remember when you were my little baby boy and now you're almost all grown up!"

"Heh heh mom I-I don't know where to start."

Ellena smiled and patted her son on the head.

"Relax; we have time to talk properly now…we can start anywhere…"

Jaune's head slowly lowered as he remembered who he was talking to.

"I-I'm sorry mom…"

"What for?"

"Fo-for taking your life away from you." Jaune was trying hold back the sobs but they were slowly starting to get through.

"Oh sweetie is that what you think? You haven't taken anything from me. I gave my life to you out of my own free will."

"I wasn't even worth it…I'm an embarrassment to the Arc name! I can't do anything right no matter how hard I try! I'm sorry…I let you and dad down…" Jaune had let everything go. Everything he had been letting build up until this point. He couldn't hold back his own words anymore.

"You haven't let anyone down."

"What? How can you say that?!"

"I say that because when I found out I was pregnant with you I didn't know if I was even ready for a baby but as time passed on I found myself happier and happier with the idea of a little blonde boy running around, smiling and enjoying life. When I saw that little face of yours, it didn't cry, it didn't breathe, and I almost felt my heart break. I knew then…that I would do whatever it took to make sure you lived a happy and healthy life. No matter what the cost. I made the decision to give my life in a heartbeat that was all it took. I'm just happy that I got to see you grow up, even for just a little bit."

Jaune stayed silent, staring in disbelief at his mother. Someone he had believed hated him most of his life. He wanted to say something but his mind was blank.

"To see you alive and healthy as you are now…that was my goal in life. Don't believe, even for a second, that your father or I hated you."

"But what about the family legacy..."

"That never meant anything to your father or I. In truth I don't think your father ever cared about that legacy. He was always concerned with if he was going to be good enough to be a father" Ellena chuckled a bit before continuing on. "You should have seen his face when he met you. I'd say it was love at first sight. He didn't leave your side for weeks! I had to practically drag him away from you crib just to eat."

Ellena looked towards the sky, relishing in her memories of those times.

"He said that the only thing he regretted was not being able to save you himself…"

Jaune couldn't even look at his mother's smiling face anymore. He felt an enormous weight lifted off his shoulder. A feeling of warmth and kindness surrounded him.

'So all the stories about you were true…mom…'

"So no I don't think you were letting us down, even for a moment."

Jaune wiped away a few tears that had fallen down his face.

"Wow…I don't know what to say…"

"You don't have to say anything Jaune. I'd do it again and a thousand times over if I had to."

"I don't know how I can ever thank you!" Tears were falling again.

"Well there is one thing you can do…"

"Anything! You name it!"

The scenery had changed around them. It was now a grassy prairie, the aurora borealis still lit up the sky with its beauty. Ellena sat on the ground; Jaune sat down next to her and waited for her answer.

"How have you been all this time? I want to hear every last detail!"

Jaune smiled and wiped away his tears before beginning his tale.

"Well it all started with dad setting the kitchen on fire..."

"AGAIN!"

"Hahaha yep."

"That man I swear"

"I know I know but wait it gets better…"

Jaune continued telling his tale to the mother he had missed for so long.

*PRESENT*

Ren had been running through the forest for a while now, and he was fully aware of the person that was following him. He had resolved that he would try to meet up with the rest of his team before getting into conflict. This was until shots had been fired and a giant flaming wall erupted in front of him.

'Explosions again…must be the blonde girl from earlier…this could be troublesome' Ren thought as he took cover behind one of the giant trees that covered the forest. Ren slowly poked his head around the corner to see if he could get a visual of the enemy. What he saw was a short blonde girl five feet away charging at him with a combat knife. He dodged backwards just in time. He saw that she had stabbed the tree in the place where his head had previously been. Her blade glowed in the dark, shining a bright orange.

Within seconds the tree he had been hiding behind caught on fire, the fire originated from where she stabbed her knife into the tree. She pulled her knife out and it mecha-shifted into a double barreled revolver. She then pulled out a second one, identical to the first and pointed them both at Ren

'Her weapon of choice is a double barreled revolver that mecha-shifts into a knife…interesting.'

Ren analyzed all the information he had on her. Back to when she fired at Pyrrha and caused an explosion to when he heard shots when he was being chased and a giant a fire erupted and finally the most recent one, Her stabbing a knife into a tree and immediately seconds after that same tree caught on fire.

'I see now…your semblance causes things to explode. You channel your aura into various objects such as bullets or knives and in turn they cause explosions as well. It all makes sense now…'

Ren brought out stormflower and pointed them at Ether.

'Now I know your strengths and I'll use them against you.'

He channeled his aura into his legs and began running in a beeline through the trees, hoping to confuse his enemy. Luckily the trees provided a thick enough canopy for the forest floor to experience a 24 hour night time, this provided Ren with the advantage.

Ether fired numerous shots into the forest but didn't pour any aura into them to preserve it. Her eyesight was very limited in the dark and she only caught occasional glimpses of the eastern boy. Ren on the other hand had a clear visual of his target and peppered her with bullets.

Ether had to use a large amount of her aura just to protect herself from Ren's barrage of bullets. Finally she ran out of patience and aimed her gun at the canopy and fired a single shot.

That single shot caused the entire canopy to erupt into flames, giving her light and increasing her visual. She finally had Ren in her sights and wouldn't let him have another chance like that again.

She shifted her gun into knife mode and stabbed the ground. A sea of fire erupted from the blade and started heading towards Ren. He quickly jumped over the flame and rolled and started retreating further into the forest. She followed in close pursuit.

Ren decided to take cover in the trees, he flooded aura into his legs and jumped with immense strength. He jumped from tree to tree and got away from the flames.

Ether had completely lost Ren after he took to the trees. She thought about lighting the canopy on fire but after all the aura she had used earlier she didn't have the strength; she would have to let her aura recover before she could take the offensive again.

She took a defensive stance and waited for the barrage of bullets to come once again, but they never came. She heard a soft footstep come from behind her, followed by an immense pain in her spine and she was left almost completely paralyzed.

Ren had charged his aura into his arms and came in from behind. He struck her spine and used aura to send tremors up her back that left her temporarily paralyzed. He pointed stormflower at Ether and was about to fire until a bright column of light shot up into the sky. He became distracted for one second and that was all Ether needed. She dug her knife into the ground and flung some dirt into the air providing enough cover for to get away.

Ren covered his eyes from the dirt cloud and tried to pinpoint where Ether had retreated to. He then noticed that the air around him had a light orange glow to it. Ren realized too late and was caught in the explosion.

After all the smoke had lifted Ren still stood. He had used his aura at the last second but it wasn't enough to completely protect him. His shirt had completely burned off in the explosion and his pants had holes burned into them. Even his skin had patches of soot on it. There were no serious burns and no permanent damage was done. Ren's breathing had become heavy and labored, that blast had taken a lot of his energy.

'I got careless…when she dug her knife into the ground and threw dirt at me, I forgot that she could channel her aura into other objects…even including the specs of dirt in the air…she's got some serious skill to think of that within mere seconds…'

The explosion had severely damaged Stormflower and rendered them useless. That left Ren with only his close combat skills.

'That still benefits me since she can't use her semblance up close for risk of blowing herself up.'

Ren had located Ether a couple feet away, breathing heavy and trying to recover from Ren's last attack. Ren took an offensive stance and flooded his aura into his arms.

"That was pretty impressive; I hope you're ready for round two."

The light that had blinded Ren earlier was now gone but Ren couldn't help but wonder what it was.

'That had come from Jaune's direction…I hope you're alright Jaune…'

*A COUPLE OF MINUTES EARLIER*

Nora sprinted as fast as she could through the forest just trying to get away from the murderous aura that irradiated from Silver.

'That aura is unlike anything I have ever seen before and it was directed straight at Jaune! I shouldn't have left him alone…Dammit!'

Nora came to a complete stop and punched one of the nearby trees in frustration.

'I'm sorry Jaune…'

"Well well well what do we have here?" David spoke

Nora turned in surprise. David stood there with a slight smile on his face.

'How…how did I not sense him?'

"You're probably wondering how you didn't sense me right now"

Nora physically flinched in surprise.

"Sorry to inform you but I've done my research and I know all about you Valkyries"

'Damn!'

"And I have to say that your family is EXTREMELY fascinating!"

"Wait…what?"

"I mean you're family's history is so rich and interesting! Thousands of years old, one of the oldest families in all of history, and to top it all off your family has been involved in almost every war known to man…simply fascinating…"

'Does he know about THAT then…?'

"Ya know when I was doing research I should have probably done some research on your actually combat abilities, your strengths and weakness, but I just became too enthralled with your history that I just couldn't help myself so fighting you is like taking a shot in the dark so surprise me!"

"Oh you are on!"

"Bring it!"

Nora brought out Magnhild in its grenade launcher form and fired a grenade at one of the nearby trees causing it to fall in David's direction.

"WOAH!" he yelled while rolling out of the way. "Please don't break me…I'm fragile…" David joked.

'I propose a challenge!' One of the many voices that occupied David's mind shouted.

'*sigh* not you again!'

'Let's win this without using our semblance'

'Please stop talking'

'But…we're the same person…'

'SHUT UP NO YOU'RE NOT! YOU'RE NOT EVEN REAL!'

'NOTICE ME SENPAI!'

David shook his head in frustration.

"That challenge does seem difficult though…alright I accept!"

"Who are you talking too?"

"NO ONE"

"…"

"I'm not crazy! I've been tested!"

"Hey so have I!"

"Really! High five!"

"Yea!"

"Wait a minute…we're supposed to be enemies!" David pulled out two revolvers and pointed them at Nora. "You almost tricked me there!"

"Same goes to you!" Nora pointed Magnhild at David.

'She uses explosives so the best option would be close quarters fighting…the problem now is how to get close without being blown to smithereens…'

Nora fired off three grenades.

David shot his revolver and met each grenade in midair causing an explosion. Light pink smoke soon blanketed their battleground, providing David with enough cover to rush in and get close.

'Perfect! Just as planned'

David's revolver's mecha-shifted into dual Gladii. (Singular-Gladius-Roman short sword)

He swung at Nora's neck but surprisingly his attack went right over her head.

'What…just happened…did I seriously just miss? Or did she dodge?'

Nora changed Magnhild into hammer form and hit David right in the ribs. He slid back a few feet and clutched his side in pain.

'Damn! I think that cracked a couple of my ribs. I could've sworn that I used my aura to block though!'

Nora slammed Magnhild into the ground and fired a grenade. The ground trembled and made David loose his balance, while Nora went in for another attack. She slammed Magnhild into his left arm, nearly breaking it, and sent him flying.

He finally hit the ground and maneuvered into a roll before coming to a complete stop.

'Again! Why didn't my aura activate! Wait…it couldn't be…I'll have to test this'

David decided that close combat was no longer a good option and decided to use another tactic. He opened his black trench coat to reveal dozens of miniature pockets on the inside. He reached into one of the pockets and pulled out an orange dust crystal. He chucked it right at Nora and brought up his gun to shoot the crystal at the last second. He missed the crystal and shot a nearby tree.

Nora took advantage of this and caught the crystal. She threw it right back at David and shot a grenade at it in midair, David hid from the blast from behind one of the nearby trees.

'So…it's as I thought…that's the third time my aura wouldn't activate…good thing I moved at the last second' David wiped off some residual sweat that had formed on his forehead. He stayed behind the tree; he dared not show himself for fear of being blown to bits.

"Hey Valkyrie I think I figured out your little secret"

Nora didn't respond she was too busy sneaking up David.

"It all makes sense now! My terrible aim, my aura not responding to my comands, and the fact that you seem to be able to always know my location almost as if you can sense me…"

Nora froze in place. 'He couldn't have figured it out already!'

"You can manipulate other people's aura am I right"

"No!"

"I gotta say that trying to figure out how you did it was quite challenging but now I've got you all figured out. You really are quite talented for your age"

Nora continued sneaking up on her prey, completely ignoring anything David had to say.

"To be able to use my own aura to move my limbs is not something that an ordinary person should be capable of and here I thought I was just a lousy shot"

Nora was in front of David's location. She brought her hammer back and swung with all her might, completely bringing down the tree and almost taking David's head off. He had jumped back at the last second.

The tree landed with a loud thud that echoed throughout the forest.

"Not only are you able to manipulate another's aura but you can also sense different auras…am I right?"

"And so what if you are!"

"I just find such a unique aura fascinating. You must have had a lot of practice to be able to have my control over my aura then I do. That would explain why I couldn't use it to protect me, but ya know there's still one thing that bothers me…"

"…"

"I've heard many rumors about a hyperactive, orange-haired, pink themed huntress that seems to cause a lot of chaos around Beacon. I'm assuming that's you."

Nora remained silent for fear of exposing anything else that could help David.

"I'll that as a yes. You don't seem all that hyperactive or a troublemaker for that matter…I bet that's the price you pay for such a powerful semblance…"

Nora took an offensive stance and was about ready to strike.

"I've bet it's tortured you for years…"

Nora froze up once again. She stared in surprise at David.

"That's usually what happens with the more powerful semblances. There's usually some sort of negative effect for something so powerful. I'm guessing the longer you keep your semblance active the more it affects your personality. You went from hyper to twitchy just like you were on the plane. I'm guessing if you were to stop using your semblance that you would revert back to normal. Did I cover everything?" David said idly holding his chin.

'How…how did he figure all that out! We've barely been fighting for a couple minutes and he's alright picked apart my semblance!'

"I bet you're wondering how I figured all that out" David spoke. He lightly knocked on his head three times. "Well…they don't call me a genius for nothing"

Nora could feel a shift in his aura. It became darker and more malicious. There was clear murderous intent that sent shivers down Nora's spine.

"Yea I bet you don't like that…really messes with ya mentally huh?" David spoke in a low and dangerous tone.

Nora took a more defensive stance and slowly backed away. She looked David in the eye and could see the look of a complete and utter mad man.

David was just about to strike when a column of white light shot into the air.

They were both caught off guard by the sudden spectacle of light. David was surprised and felt a sudden wave of curiosity come over him.

'What is that?' he thought.

Nora stared at the light with wonder and awe. The light was only there for a couple more seconds before it vanished. Nora continued to stare at where the light had previously been.

David returned his attention to the orange-haired girl. He was shocked to find a small smirk had formed on her face.

"Right…I understand Jaune…" She whispered to herself. She walked over to a nearby tree and head butted it. She returned her gaze back to David who simply stared at her with a look of curiosity. Her turquoise eyes started to glow. Her manic smile returned and she took an offensive stance once again.

"I won't hold back this time…I'M GONNA BREAK YOUR LEGS!"

*COUPLE OF MINUTES EARLIER*

Pyrrha stopped in the middle of a clearing and turned to face her pursuer. She knew that she wouldn't be able to rejoin with her other teammates until she dealt with him.

The tower of power known as Raph walked out into the clearing.

'Looks like I'm the unlucky one today' Pyrrha smirked.

Raph brought out his bow and notched one of his arrows. He shot at Pyrrha who dodged with ease. It was when Pyrrha turned around to see where the arrow had landed did she realize the she wasn't his target. The arrow had landed at the edge of the clearing, attached to it was a red dust crystal. The crytal burst into fire and created a ring of fire around their clearing. There was no escape from Raph now.

The fire provided an extra sense of danger that put Pyrrha on her best game.

'It's time to see the results of my training!' Pyrrha could feel her blood rushing, adrenaline filled her veins. She knew that she would have to be wary when getting close but she still couldn't help but feel excited facing the challenge in front of her.

She pulled out Milo in Xiphos form, and waited for Raph to make the first move.

Raph showed no hesitation, he pulled out a single edged sword with a serrated back edge. His weapon of choice and the weapon he was most dangerous with. He charged Pyrrha with a surprising amount of speed for his size. He slammed into Pyrrha's blade with a large amount of force. Her arms shook and they felt numb just from taking the impact of the first slash. The only reason her bones had not shattered was due to fact she had used her semblance to slow down his attack.

He continued his assault by slashing at her with speed and precision instead of power. She was forced to stay on defense just to keep with him. She would have to get out of his range. She blocked a couple more of his attacks before ducking under one of his horizontal slashes. She was now behind him and had the upper hand. She shield bashed him then swept one of his feet out to knock him off balance. She then backpedaled a few feet before switching Milo into rifle form and firing off a couple shots.

Raph had already regained his balance and turned around. He brought his shield out in time to block the bullets. Pyrrha used her semblance to disarm Raph of his shield and took another shot.

Not having shield didn't seem to both Raph at all as he just simply cut the bullet in half, both halves losing course and missing him.

'Right…his sword is the biggest problem. Pyrrha used her semblance to try and take Raph's sword but he brought up one his legs and grabbed a knife that he hid in one of his boots. He flicked his hand and sent the knife straight at Pyrrha. She took out Akouo just in time to deflect the knife.

Raph charged at her once again. Pyrrha threw her shield at his legs in an attempt to trip him up. He simply jumped over the projectile and continued onwards.

'You leave me with no other choice then'

Pyrrha fired Milo continuously at Raph but each and every single shot missed. It wasn't until Raph heard a bullet whiz by his ear coming from the opposite direction did he realize that she had missed on purpose. He looked around him and noticed that the bullets were still bouncing around him. He also took noice of the giant black bubble surrounding him. Pyrrha also had a black outline and looked to be focusing. Raph then realized that Pyrrha was using her semblance to make the bubble.

'This takes a high concentration of aura to pull off but it's worth it. There won't be any escape for you now…' Pyrrha thought with an almost evil smirk.

'She's using her semblance to create this bubble and bounce the bullets back within it. Not bad Pyr…not bad at all…' Raph thought as he continued to dodge and maneuver through the bullets.

Raph tried to get in close to Pyrrha but each attempt was thwarted by the bullets that continued to bounce around.

'She also seems to have complete control over each bullet…this could prove dangerous…'

Raph continued to move around, trying to avoid the metal projectiles as best he could but he was beginning to tire out. Slowly but surely, wounds began appearing all over his body, he couldn't keep up anymore and was greatly slowing down.

'Time to use my semblance…' Raph thought. Raph came to a complete stop and got down into a low stance. He held his sword to his side, getting ready to slice. He channeled his aura into the blade.

'Uh oh' Pyrrha thought when she noticed Raph had stopped moving and starting glowing a bright leafy green. She quickly released her semblance and ducked down. He finally released the large amount of aura he had been build up in one slash. He swung his sword in a complete three hundred and sixty degree horizontal slash before coming to a complete stop. All the tall grass in the clearing got cut down to equal length and even some of the trees got cut in half on the outside of the clearing. The wave of destruction just barely passed over Pyrrha.

The red head looked up to see Raph on one knee, breathing heavily. She decided to take this chance and finish the fight.

A wave of energy overtook Pyrrha. She recognized this feeling.

"Jaune" She whispered before looking towards the direction where the aura source came from. A column of white light suddenly shot into the air. She felt herself breathe a little easier as Jaune's aura had finally returned to normal. That meant Jaune had finally awoken.

*A COUPLE OF MINUTES EARLIER (LAST TIME) INSIDE JAUNE'S HEAD*

"…and that's everything…"

A smile remained on Ellena's face during the whole story.

"Sounds like you've been through a lot…I'm glad to hear you've made friends…even if the majority of them are females…"

"I-it's not like that…"

"I know…just remember you can even get a girl pregnant through kissing sometimes…"

"mooooom"

The blonde haired woman chuckled a bit.

"Sorry, it's just…so hard to believe you're almost a man now…"

"Yea sometimes I can't believe it myself"

A calm silence fell on the two as they simply enjoyed each other's company. Ellena could felt an overwhelming sense of happiness, a happiness that could not be described through words as tears silently fell down Ellena's face, her smile still remained as bright and wonderful as ever.

"Mom are you okay?" Jaune's voice was filled with concern.

"Yea…I'm just happy to see you again…I promised myself I wouldn't but I can't help myself"

Jaune smiled.

"It's okay mom, I'm just glad to have a chance to see you like this…"

Ellena sat there and took in all of Jaune's appearance that she could.

"So…what happens now…"

For the first time since they had been talking, a frown appeared on Ellena's face.

"Now…it's time for me to go"

She could see the desperation and hope in Jaune's eyes but she knew that she would have to turn him down.

"But can't you stay just a bit longer. There's still so much I want to tell you!"

"I know there is but right now…your friends need you"

Jaune's head lowered a little, his eyes hidden behind his bangs. Ellena could see that the person before her right now was not a seventeen year old but a seven year old child who missed their mother. He looked exactly as she remembered. Ellena knew this was the root of problem, he didn't want to let go of the past.

She took Jaune's head in her hands and forced him to look into her eyes.

"Jaune I know you don't like this but there are things that we must do…"

"What do you mean?" The seven year old asked

"I mean there are things in this world that happen and sometimes they are unfair but we must continue on. If we dwell on the past then we will never be able to live in the present or continue into the future. I am of the past, you are of the present. Remember that and move onwards. Just because I am not with you physically doesn't mean I've left"

"Momma…"

"I will never leave you…remember that…so continue on forward into the future and live…for both of us…can you do that…"

"I-I can…"

"And promise me that you'll be the best person you can…no matter what you do…try your best and make lots of friends"

Ellena was slowly beginning to fade

"Promise me that you won't give in…no matter what happens…and that you'll never abandon who you really are. You are Jaune, my son.

"…"

"I want you to promise me that you will live as the boy who wanted to be a knight and protect everyone…the boy who always wanted to make friends, the boy who…had the kindest heart..."

"Mom!" Jaune had returned to his seventeen year old self.

"…Live as the boy who was true to himself, not what the world said you had to be…"

"I…"

"Can you promise me…" Ellena was nearly gone, her voice was empty of energy.

"I-I promise you…"

"Good…now go…and be who you are meant to be!" with those final words, Ellena vanished.

Silence fell on upon the praire, the aurora borealis continued to shine on free as a bird.

Jaune didn't feel sadness or regret; instead he felt happiness and joy at his mother's words.

"I will…I WILL!"

The aurora borealis that blanket the sky had come together with its mixture of colors to form a sphere that shined colors one could not even begin to imagine. The sphere poured into Jaune.

He felt power like he had never felt before come over him. He felt complete once again.

Silver still rested against his tree, occasionally glancing at the blonde knight. He was surprised to see a faint glow begin to surround the swordsman. The glow became brighter and brighter until it was blinding. Suddenly a massive surge of aura passed over Silver, it was overwhelming.

A giant column of light shot into the sky and a crater formed due to the massive amount of aura.

The light finally died down and out emerged Jaune from the crater, still glowing faintly with light. He stood and stretched as if he was just waking up.

"What do we have here?" Spoke up Silver with a sly grin.

"Sorry to keep you waiting"

"Do you know…what's going on here?"

"Yep…just got informed"

Jaune cracked a smile.

"It's a good thing too…you're the perfect person to try out my new semblance on!"

A/N-So I wanted to make this longer to make up for the week I missed. Over 5k words! How did you like the fights? Let me know in a review because it greatly helps me, whether it's criticism or not. I hope you all enjoyed. I tried to explain Nora's semblance as best as I could but if anyone still has questions on how it works PM me. Have a good day, Carnage out!

P.S. I know I'm a bastard for that cliffhanger.
