I had essays and shizzle due in so thats why I have been slower with the updates. Excuse the strange layout using my tablet cos my laptop went in to repair :(. This chapter Brendan takes them to a mystery location, they have some quality time together and they go home find Warren threatening Ste.

Niamh ran to the car and dumped her stuff in the back seat feeling happy that she was going to get quality time with Brendan. She got in the front and Brendan started driving the car Niamh looked at his face and noticed some bruises that she hadn't noticed before. She then looked at his knuckles and frowned they were clear. That meant he'd been beaten up.

"Who did that to your face" asked Niamh she was looking at him trying to assess tge damage. The bruises was more round his nose and on his cheek bones it must of hurt.

"Foxy wants my half club so he set his cronies in prison to beat me up" said Brendan Niamh sighed. How dare Warren do that? He was such a coward getting his mates to do his dirty work.

"I'll kill him" said Niamh Brendan laughed and shook his head smiling to himself.

"No you won't, not nearly losing you again got me" said Brendan. Niamh nodded he must have been so worried in prison not being able to visit her or check she was ok. Niamh smiled out the window feeling somewat relieved they were going away.

"Where are we going?" Asked Niamh she yawned and put her self in a more comfortable position on the passanger seat. She sat on her legs and put her head on the window.

"Its a surprise but were not going to Ireland, Lynsey told me about your punch up with Eoghan" said Brendan. Niamh laughed it had hardly been a punch up.

"It was hardly a punch up I punched him in the face because he was about to call you queer infront of everyone and he has no right" said Niamh. Brendan picked up her hand and squeezed it. She had missed him so much.

"Thank you Niamh" said Brendan. Niamh nodded and smiled at him.

"Your welcome" yawned Niamh her eyes started droop and she fell asleep quickly.

Niamh woke up next morning in a hotel bed she sat up and looked around there was a door going in to a bathroom and a miny fridge and a TV in the corner. Brendan came om from the bathroom and smiled at her.

"At last she awakes" said Brendan sitting at the end of the bed. Niamh sat up further and noticed a double bed in the corner. She was happy in the single bed.

"How did I get in here" said Niamh she knew that was a stupid question. He would have carried her like a kid in to the hotel.

"You were in a deep sleep so I carried you in to the hotel, got some funny looks from the guests in the bar I can tell you" said Brendan. Niamh nodded and smiled at Brendan she didn't have time to feel embarrassed by it she just wanted to have fun.

"So where are we" asked Niamh looking around the room hoping that the room would give her some clues.

"We are in Blackpool, I bought your mum here for our honeymoon" said Brendan. Niamh smirked she had heard this story before Eileen had been pregnant with Declan at the time and Niamh had been taken on the honeymoon as well. She had memory of it but they always told her that story.

Over the next few days Niamh and Brendan explored Blackpool and the beach. Niamh enjoyed the time because as it was just her and Brendan they could have random conversation but then have serious conversations and she really enjoyec the freedom Brendan gave her.

Niamh was laid in bed she fell asleep and first thing she saw in her dream was Silas's face looming over her he had her pinned down again. She jumped awake and looked around. She was still in the hotel, she looked around the room and checked the bathroom the fear coursing through and of course Silas wasn't there. She shook herself and told herself to man up. She hated her moment of weakness and went back to bed. She lay there feeling strangely vulnerable and cold. She looked at Brendan who was asleep on his bed. It was a double bed and he wouldn't noticed. She tipped toed over to his bed and got in the bed quietly. Brendan seemed to sense her and pulled her close to him.

"Nightmare?" Asked Brendan Niamh jumped not expecting him to be awake.

"Yeah, sorry didn't mean to wake you" said Niamh. Brendan pulled her closer and she clung back feeling warm and less vulnerable.

"Don't apologise angel, its okay its what I'm here for, to protect you from the monsters" said Brendan soothingly. Niamh smiled and laughed. She fell asleep quickly and this time it was dreamless.

Next morning they went for a walk on the beach. It was a really hot day so the sand was hot under foot. Niamh liked it and carried her shoes.

"So your mum tried to drag you back to Dublin then?" Asked Brendan. Niamh smiled amd nodded. She had been explaining to him more of what he had missed while being in prison. She saved this bit for last because she didn't want him to end up agreeing Eileen.

"Yeah then that's when Eoghan piped up with his little remarks about me and you" said Niamh they sat down on the sand and sat next to eachother. Niamh started playing with the sand with her fingers.

"Yeah he doesn't like me much" said Brendan. Niamh nodded he was stating the obvious much. She smiled at him.

"Tell me something I don't know" said Niamh. Brendan smirked at her and looked around they had found a deserted spot on the beach without realising. Niamh got her water bottle out her back and took a gulp of it.

"He's my dirty little secret" said Brendan Niamh spat out the water in her mouth and stared at Brendan.

"You what?" Asked Niamh. Brendan laughed at her reaction. Niamh chucked sand at him and he chucked sand back. He ran and she ran after him. They chucked sand at eachother Niamh laughed loudly. Brendan tripped her up and caught her. He chucked Niamh ovet his shoulder.

"Back to the hotel we go" said Brendan. He then ran across the beach. Niamh laughed was this his superman impression. She loved it so much.

Over the next week Niamh and Brendan sat around the hotel. Soon they were back in the car on the way back to Hollyoaks.

"Do we have to go back" asked Brendan putting his bottom lip out Niamh laughed he looked like an older version of Padraig when he did that.

"Yes we do, I start six form in two days, bit late saying that now anyway were nearly home" said Niamh tapping Brendan reassuringly on the shoulder. She groaned as it dawned on her it was two days until she started sixth form. Brendan parked up outside the flat and Niamh heard shouting from one of the alleyways. Niamh walked forwards towards the sound and Brendan followed behind her. Warren had Ste pinned up against the wall. Niamh and Brendan marched over. Brendan pulled Warren of him while Niamh put her arm round Ste checking his face for damage.

"Niamh take Ste up to the flat" said Brendan. Niamh nodded and pulls Ste along with him.
