With Every Bit Of Sunshine, There Will Be A Bit Of Rain.

AN: I am planning on trying to end this story at Chapter 40! This story has gone longer than I thought but I do wanna write a sequel or maybe write a completely different story as this did not end up way I wanted as in the middle of writing this story I suffered a serious bout of writers block. Shall see what happens!

Chapter Thirty Seven- Because Everything Was Slipping Right Out Of Our Hands

'Is it me or is it getting warmer?' Ginny exclaimed, leaning against the wall.

'It is getting warmer. Maybe this is their idea of torture. Sweat us out' Luna replied, groaning.

'Are you okay?' Ginny turned to Luna, worried for her pregnant best friend.

'I am fine, Ginny! Just as I would be if I was not pregnant. So stop giving me the special treatment!' Luna said, annoyed.

'Don't take it out of her, Luna!' Neville chipped in, sighing.

'Don't you start!' Luna sighed, looking away.

'Guys, can we just stop shouting please?' Ginny asked, leaning her head back, exhaling deeply from the heat.

'Why? Worried what we might say? Well seeing as we are all here, I have something to ask you' Luna turned to Ginny, raising an eyebrow. Ginny felt scared. She had never seen Luna like this. It was so out of character. It was like Charlie had completely changed.

'Jeez, whatever it is, Luna, spit it out' Ginny said, rolling her eyes.

'There you go again!'

'You have lost me' Ginny told her, bewildered.

'Undermining me. You always dismiss what I say. Like I am second best. We are all know you are the most popular one in our year whilst I am the most unpopular one' Luna replied, sweat forming on her head from the heat.

'Okay, I am going to put this down to hormones and the heat. You are talking rub-'

'Oh yes, stupid looney Luna talking rubbish again. At least I didn't get rid of my baby because I was scared of a few death eaters' Luna said, coldly.

'Do you wanna say that again?' Ginny asked, rounding on her.

'Girls, it is too hot to fight' but they ignored Neville.

'Come on, Luna, you obviously have something to say. So you judge for me for getting rid of my baby. Well whilst we are on the topic of judging, I haven't quite got over the fact you dumped my best friend for my brother! Talk about tactless' Ginny exclaimed, her face was now forming a colour that matched her hair from the heat.

'I dumped him? I dumped you?' Luna turned to Neville who looked away.

'Is there something I don't know here guys?' Ginny asked, looking from both of them.

'Why don't you tell Ginny who you are really in love with and why you have been pretending to be so bothered about me?' Luna proclaimed, raising an eyebrow.

'Neville, what is she talking about?' Ginny questioned, confused

'Tell her! We are all about to die so she might as well know her best friend has been keeping the secret of him being in love with her for four years!' Luna shot at them. Ginny's eyes widened, her heart racing.

'Luna…' Neville groaned.

'What? She is telling the truth? Neville? Tell me she isn't!' Ginny cried in shock, her mouth open when there was a crash from below them and the sound of Charlie's voice.

'Wait, it might not be him! We were ambushed by Lestrange thinking it was Percy' but Luna ignored Ginny, calling out Charlie's name. Ginny groaned. About two seconds later, Charlie came rushing into the room and hurried to Luna.

'How I am happy to see you!' he cried, helping her out of her chains.

'Ginny!' Harry called, also walking in. She sighed a sigh of relief as he hurried to her.

'Neville, mate, how are you doing?' Ron asked, as he walked in and walked forward to help Neville out of his chains.

'Where's Yaxley and Lestrange?' Ginny asked, looking around.

'Kingsley has them! He has jinxed them so they can't run away before we get to the ministry but it is over, finally' Harry replied, giving her a smile. He leaned forward to kiss her but she turned so he ended up kissing her cheek. She shot Neville a dirty look, making a mental note to deal with him later.

Three Days Later

'Is there anything you want to tell me?' Harry asked, as he watched Ginny pace the living room in his flat.

'Me? No. Of course not' she replied, giving him a quick smile.

'Ginny, my beautiful Ginny, I know where something is wrong' he told her, walking towards her, putting his hands either side of her face. She sighed, looking down.

'Things got heated when we were locked up. And I am not just talking about the heat' she sighed, pulling away and ran her hands through her hair.

'Tell me, it is okay' he told her, taking her hand.

'Luna said the real reason her and Neville broke up was that… he is love with me' he laughed at this then stopped when he realised she was being serious.

'He kept that one quiet' he said, quietly.

'Tell me about it. Three years' she told him, exhaling deeply.

'And what? You love him too?' she slapped his arm, scoffing.

'I love him as a friend, a brother. I love you, you prat'

'Good. I had to check. Have you spoke to him?' he asked, raising an eyebrow.

'I have tried. I went to his yesterday. I have tried writing. I cannot deal with this. I have three essays due and a quidditch match first week back' she replied. He sighed, leaning forward and hugged her.

'It's okay, it is all going to be okay' he tried to tell her but she pulled away.

'No it is not. He is my best friend and he is in love with me. You think I like having this face? Think I like hearing the comments about me. Oh Weasley looks easy. Oh she looks she is well up for it. Oh have you heard what she does to pass her classes because she has a pretty face but no brains inside her head. No he is going to talk to me whether he likes it or not' she exclaimed, walking out of the flat.

Harry sighed, following her and managed to apparated with her to Neville's. She ignored his grandmother's calls of he wasn't available and she headed upstairs.

'Neville Longbottom, you open this door right now!' Ginny shouted, banging on his bedroom door.

'Ginny, look, I don't know what you want me to say' Neville replied, opening the door. His face fell when he saw Harry.

'You owe me an explanation' she replied, crossing her arms.

'You did not have to bring your boyfriend you know?' he said, sighing.

'Fiancé actually' Harry said. Ginny turned to him, sighing. She narrowed her eyes before turning back to Neville.

'That does not matter right now. What matters is the fact you have been keeping this a secret for the past three years' she said, raising an eyebrow.

'Ginny, look I can't get into this right now' Neville sighed, rubbing his temples.

'Can't or won't, Neville. At the end of the day, she is with me and marrying me. I don't get why you break up with Luna. Because you thought you had a chance?' Harry proclaimed, moving closer to her.

'It took you five years to notice her! I noticed her before she was popular, before she was 'fit', I noticed her for her not because she is now fit and popular' Neville replied, annoyed.

'Neville, don't even go there' she told him, moving between the two boys before a fight broke out.

'Ginny, could you step outside for a moment? I need a word with Neville' Harry proclaimed, angrily.

'No, I won't just step outside. Neville, you don't know what you are talk-'

'Oh, I don't know what I am talking about do I? I was quiet and stupid and pathetic but I saw everything! Everything. Including his two year crush on a one Cho Chang!' Neville replied, pointing to Harry.

'You are not quiet, stupid and pathe-'

'So because I had a crush on someone else means I don't love Ginny? Is that what you are saying?' Harry questioned, his temper raising.

'Well it took her to wear make-up, do her hair nice and be popular for you to notice her' Neville replied, trying to move past Ginny.

'Actually I don't know when I fell in love with her. It actually just creeped up on me and I should not have to explain myself to anyone but MY fiancé' Harry told him, trying to control his temper.

'You know you can add 'my' in front of everything but it does not make her any more of your property' Neville said, smirking.

'I am no one's property but Harry is my soulmate and I am his and before you say anything, our patronus beg to differ anything you say. You are my best friend but please do not come between me and Harry because I know who I will choose' Ginny said, sighing and turned to her fiancé before taking his hand.

'You are lucky Ginny is here and she is more understanding than you are' Harry added, before allowing the pressure from Ginny's hand to guide him out of the house.
