"Izo, I got it," Lu said, as she walked into his office.

Izo looked up. "You mean Shanks signed?"

She placed the contract on the desk. Benn stood next to him, his eyebrow slight lifted. He was the only outside the family that knew about the adoption and he was surprised Mihawk had signed. That Shanks did, was not surprising. He adored his daughter and spoiled her, but she didn't take advance of it. She had respect for her fathers and trust in them.

"But Lu dear, Mihawk has signed too. I know you see him as a father, but it's not legal for him to sign this," Izo said, slight disappointed.

"Let me put you in on a secret, Izo-kun. Without the signature of Mihawk, it wouldn't be legal. He adopted me," she said.

Izo's eyes widened lightly, but then he smiled. "I see. Well, then I'm glad to have you on my team, dear. You knew it, right Benn?"

"I did all the official papers," he said.

"Now all we need is a marriage," Izo grinned.

Lu chuckled. "Just what I thought, but we shouldn't mingle. You know how daddy is," she said.

Izo nodded. "We'll wait and see what happens. First of all, thanks for wanting to want to help."

"Well, we're friends and I had fun last time," she said.

Izo smiled and then they talked what awaited of her and when she was to come to take the pictures. After arranging a schedule, Lu went home.

Zoro sat on the couch watching TV, or rather, staring at the TV, since he wasn't really paying any attention to it. It felt so weird to know that he and Lu were more than step brother and sister. Now they were adopted siblings. It was a warm, yet strange feeling. Now he knew she would never really leave his life and the same went for Shanks.

Lu plopped down next to him and took his hand. "I'm happy to have you as my brother. Sure we had our problems at first, but now … No matter what happens, we'll be family," she said.

He squeezed her hand. "It's a weird thought though. Good, but weird."

She chuckled. "I bet it would be weirder if our dads got married."

He smirked. "Now that would complete our family."

"It would. Though it's up to them, but I would love for them to get married. They love each other to much," she sighed.

"You're so romantic," he snorted.

"So? I doubt there will be any other reason for them to marry. I'm pretty sure they each have a guilty testament that will benefit each other and both of us," she said.

"Yeah …"

She leaned back. "Still, I'm happy. I got my daddy, I got you, I got Mihawk and I got my friends. Sure, it would have been perfect if mom still was alive, but I've come to peace with it. I still have a family."

Zoro looked at her. Her eyes were closed and a small smile played on her lips. She truly looked happy. He smiled softly. Lu was really a great sister, always there when he needed her. If it wasn't for her, he would have failed some classes, but she helped him through them and he understood it better. He wondered what she wanted to do with her life.

"So what about we do something for our dads?" Zoro asked.

"What do you have in mind?"

"We clean the house for the weekend. That way all they have to do is to enjoy each other."

Lu opened her eyes and smiled to him. "That's a great idea, bro. They'll be happy. Maybe I should make some sweet for them too. I'll ask dad what he has planned," she said.

Zoro nodded. Normally they would clean the house in the weekends, only do a daily cleaning every day. However, now both teens were out and their dads planned on having a romantic lover's weekend, Zoro thought it would be a good idea to clean the house before the weekend, so the men wouldn't have to think about that.

Lu was packing her bag. This weekend she would spend it with Izo, getting a complete wellness treatment from him. She couldn't wait. Shanks and Mihawk would have a lover's weekend, while Zoro was at the training camp. It was good to be apart from the family she loved. And she would have complete wellness.

"Izo sure spoils you too," Shanks said.

She grinned. "He sure does, but he loves it. Now you two have a nice weekend. Enjoy it."

"We will. Mihawk has planned everything this time. All he told me was to get home early, like 4 pm. tomorrow," Shanks said.

"Sounds interesting. I'll go to Izo after school," she said.

He nodded. "I can't believe it. Soon you'll be a model and 17 years old. Time sure flows by. It's like it was yesterday I held you in my arms for the first time," Shanks smiled.

"Daddy … I'm still your little girl, no matter what," she said.

He hugged her. It was still somewhat weird he didn't have both arms, but they had gotten used to it. There were things he couldn't do, but he had learnt to do many things with one arm. It was all about adjusting.

"By the way, Zoro and I cleaned the house today, so you two don't have to worry about that. And Mihawk and I went shopping. Everything is set for a weekend with a lot of romantic," she said.

"I got the greatest kids ever," Shanks smiled brightly.

"That we do," Mihawk said from the door.

Shanks smiled to his lover. Lu smiled a little, before she went to her bathroom, getting some stuff from it. Tomorrow her weekend of relaxing would start. Zoro would have a hard weekend of training, but it was what he loved and her dads would have a weekend to themselves. She really looked forward to it.

As Lu had gone into her bathroom, Shanks went over to Mihawk and embraced him gently and kissed him passionately. Mihawk pushed Shanks closer and deepened the kiss. He couldn't wait for the weekend to start, having planned something special. And he knew Shanks was to burst from curiosity.

"So all you have to think of is to be spoiled this weekend, love," Mihawk said, sending chills down the spine of Shanks, due to the dark voice.

"You're too good to me, my love," Shanks hummed.

Mihawk smirked and lifted Shanks up, making the man yelp lightly. "Maybe, but that's how I like it."

Shanks chuckled as Mihawk brought him to their room. He looked forward to see what Mihawk had planned. Normally it would be Shanks planning their lover's weekend, but this time, Mihawk insisted on doing it, so Shanks had let him. It was rare Mihawk was romantic and Shanks loved it when he was, because then he went all out.

Lu smiled after them. It was good to see those two so much in love, even after all those years. She looked at Zoro, who stood in his doorframe, arms crossed, but with a smirk on his face. Both knew what was going to happen, but they didn't want to think about it.

"It's good to see them like this," Zoro said.

"Yeah. Goodnight bro," she said.

"Night sis."

I wanted to show how much Shanks and Mihawk loved each other in this chapter and yes, there will be some of that too in the next chapter.
